Choosing the Right Window AC: A Comprehensive Guide to Lloyd's 1.5 - 5 Star GLW18I5FWBMZ Model
In the scorching heat of summers, having a reliable and efficient air conditioner is not just a luxury but a necessity. When it comes to choosing the right cooling solution for your space, Lloyd's Window AC Inverter model GLW18I5FWBMZ stands out as a powerful and smart choice. In this comprehensive guide, we will delve into the key features and advantages that make this model a top contender in the market.
Tumblr media
Cools at 52 °C: Specially Designed for High Ambient Temperatures
One of the standout features of Lloyd's GLW18I5FWBMZ model is its exceptional cooling performance, even in extreme conditions. This air conditioner is designed to operate seamlessly at high ambient temperatures, reaching up to 52 °C. This ensures that you receive nonstop cooling even during the hottest days, providing a comfortable and refreshing environment in your living or working space.
Stabilizer-Free Operation: Ensuring Safety and Savings
Voltage fluctuations can pose a threat to the longevity and efficiency of your appliances. Lloyd Air Conditioners come with stabilizer-free operation, addressing this concern effectively. By preventing voltage fluctuations, this feature not only ensures the safety of your AC but also contributes to energy savings. The stabilizer-free operation provides ease and comfort, giving you a hassle-free experience with your cooling appliance.
LED Display: Intelligent and User-Friendly Operation
The GLW18I5FWBMZ model is equipped with an intelligent central digital dynamic LED display. This feature vividly indicates the operation status, providing real-time information about the AC's functions. The smart LED display makes the technology user-friendly, allowing you to easily monitor and control your air conditioner for optimal performance.
Remote-Controlled Operation: Convenience at Your Fingertips
For added convenience, Lloyd's Window AC comes with a remote-controlled operation feature. This means you can adjust settings, change modes, and control the temperature from the comfort of your couch or bed. The remote control enhances the user experience, making it easier to customize the cooling conditions according to your preferences.
Blue Fin Coil: Enhancing Durability and Performance
The GLW18I5FWBMZ model features a Blue Fin Coil with hydrophilic aluminum fins. This design not only enhances the durability of the condenser coil by protecting it from rust but also contributes to the overall efficiency of the air conditioner. The increased life of the condenser coil ensures that your AC operates at its best for an extended period.
Clean Air Filter: Ensuring Fresh and Healthy Air
In an era where air pollution is a growing concern, Lloyd addresses this issue by equipping its air conditioners with advanced air filters. The GLW18I5FWBMZ model is no exception. These new-age air filters purify the air, providing you with comfortable cooling along with fresher, cleaner, and healthier air. This feature is particularly crucial for individuals who are conscious of indoor air quality and its impact on health.
Strong Dehumidification: Effective Moisture Control
Apart from its cooling prowess, the GLW18I5FWBMZ model comes with a strong dehumidification unit. This unit operates alternately in cooling mode or fan mode, ensuring effective dehumidification without significantly lowering the room temperature. This feature is particularly beneficial in humid climates, where excess moisture can make the indoor environment uncomfortable.
Auto Restart: Resuming Operation After Power Outages
Power outages can be inconvenient, but Lloyd's Window AC has a solution. The Auto Restart feature ensures that, upon restoration of power after a sudden failure, the AC will restart automatically. It resumes operation based on the previous settings, saving you from the hassle of manually resetting the preferences. This feature adds a layer of convenience and ensures uninterrupted cooling during unexpected power interruptions.
Inner Grooved Copper Pipes and 100% Copper Condenser Tubes: Enhancing Efficiency
The GLW18I5FWBMZ model is equipped with inner grooved copper pipes and 100% copper condenser tubes. Copper is known for its excellent heat transfer properties, and these components enhance the overall efficiency of the air conditioner. The use of copper also contributes to the durability and reliability of the appliance, making it a long-term investment for your cooling needs.
Self-Diagnosis Function: Intelligent Error Detection
To further enhance user experience, Lloyd integrates a self-diagnosis function into the GLW18I5FWBMZ model. This intelligent feature allows the chip to detect errors and display them on the LED. This proactive approach to error detection facilitates quick and efficient troubleshooting, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly, minimizing downtime, and extending the lifespan of the air conditioner.
In conclusion, Lloyd's Window AC Inverter model GLW18I5FWBMZ is a top-tier choice for those seeking a reliable, efficient, and feature-packed cooling solution. From its ability to perform in extreme temperatures to the convenience of remote-controlled operation and the assurance of clean and healthy air, this model ticks all the boxes. Whether you're looking to beat the summer heat in your home or create a comfortable workspace, the GLW18I5FWBMZ is a standout performer in the world of window air conditioners.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection Announced
Tumblr media
At the Nintendo Direct today, news I have been tirelessly waiting six years for arrived: The Ace Attorney Investigations games are coming to all modern consoles! This includes Ace Attorney Investigations 2 (now officially known as Ace Attorney Investigations: Prosecutor's Gambit), after THIRTEEN YEARS of being a Japan-exclusive game!
Now everyone gets to experience Debeste Ace Attorney games! ... The Winner Ace Attorney Games!
Key Information
The collection is coming out on September 6, 2024 to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, XBOX One, Windows, and Steam. It will be available in Japanese, English, French, German, Korean, and Traditional and Simplified Chinese, with new voice dubs. Most of the information in this post will be coming from the official website, which you can check out for more details.
The reveal trailer is as follows:
youtube
There's lots of information here, so let's break it down:
New Features
Since these were originally Nintendo DS games, there's a massive jump in graphic quality to HD! This includes a new interface for Logic, the court record, and redone full-body sprites. But if you prefer the classic look, the AAI collection will let you swap between the sprite styles:
Tumblr media
Similarly to the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and 456 Collection, the AAI Collection includes story mode, dialogue history, a gallery containing concept and special art, and music including orchestral arrangements of the soundtrack.
You can also change the in-game soundtrack to rearranged tracks! This applies to Confrontation - Allegro, Confrontation - Presto, Objection 2009, and Pursuit - Chase Down The Truth (commonly known as Lying Coldly) with and without the intro.
Pre-Order Bonuses
Much like the AAI tracks, AAI2 arranged tracks can play in game, but these are currently restricted to pre-order bonuses (though this might change in the future). This includes Confrontation - Allegro 2011, Confrontation - Presto 2011, Objection 2011, and the intro and non-intro versions of Pursuit - Uncover The Truth (commonly known as Wanting To Find The Truth).
That's all on the English side, but much like the 456 collection, Japan has a physical collector's edition called the Mitsurugi (Edgeworth) Checkmate Set. This includes an arranged mini-album of songs by other composers, and new album art by Tatsuro Iwamoto.
Tumblr media
The new songs include "Objections of Different Eras" (seemingly a remix of Objections 2009 and 2011), "Raven that Pursues The Truth" (remix of Kay's theme), "It's Time for Action!" (remix of Gumshoe's theme), "Howling Echoes" (remix of Lang's theme), and "Unveiling the Truth" (remix of the Pursuit songs).
This collection also includes a diorama set:
Tumblr media
The set has two backgrounds (the rooftop of the Grand Tower and Edgeworth's office), and has standees of Edgeworth, Kay, Gumshoe, Franziska, Lang, Gregory, and... Verity and Eustace.
Which is a good segue into:
Localization Differences
Since most AA fans will be familiar with the fantastic AAI2 fan translation, the new names will likely be an adjustment for all of us. Characters in AAI (like Kay and Lang) will not have their names changed, just characters that were previously exclusive to AAI2.
Known name changes include:
Yumihiko Ichiyanagi / Sebastian Debeste -> Eustace Winner
Hakari Mikagami / Justine Courtney -> Verity Gavèlle
Tateyuki Shigaraki / Raymond Shields -> Eddie Fender
We also know that Manosuke Naito / Horace Knightley's new last name is Knight, and Gai Tojiro / Ethan Rooke's last name is Rook, which isn't much of a departure from fan translation names. We also know that Mikiko Hayami / Nicole Swift's new last name is Lloyd. I will provide updates on more names when they become available!
Regardless of your feelings on the new names - it's going to be an adjustment for everyone used to the fan translation that has been around ten years now - let's all keep in mind that despite the new names, the characters behind the names will be the same. And personally, as a massive fan of AAI2, I think the adjustment will be worth it if it means that more people get to experience my favorite ace attorney game for themselves.
With this announcement, all canonical ace attorney games have been ported to modern consoles and given an English translation. As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, this announcement is thirteen years in the making for AAI2! This is an unprecedented time for the popularity and accessibility of Ace Attorney.
(All we need now is the Layton crossover...)
Thank you all for joining me in this excitement and I look forward to collecting and sharing more updates as they arrive!

The interior of the car is sleek and shiny. You don’t want to touch anything as you strap the seat belt across your torso. You feel bad enough that he insists upon getting your bags in the car. When he’s at last in the driver’s seat, you relax.
You glance out the window at the patch of grass where Jake was moments ago. He slinked away as you hid behind the tinted glass in triumph. One little victory after a year of terror.
“So, shall we?” James asks as he turns the engine. “We’ve some ways to go,” he adjusts the mirror and glances over at you. “I know it isn’t good etiquette but I must say you look beat. It won’t bother me should you doze as I drive.”
“Oh, uh,” you rub your cheek bashfully, “thanks, I... spent all night packing so--”
It’s not a complete lie and you’re sure he can fathom the truth after the morning’s confrontation. Admitting it will only make it worse. You just want to leave it all behind.
“Of course. I apologise for the short notice but thank you very much for being so accommodating,” he says.
He shifts into gear and checks his blind spot before he slowly steers away from the curb.
“Me? Thank you for the drive. I’m sure I’ve could have found a bus--”
“You would assume but as I said, the location is remote and you’d still need to get from the station to the house. I don’t mind at all. I’ve not been to the manor in some time and I’m overdue to check in on it.” He explains, “I’m happy to do so with company, if I’m to be honest.”
“Ah, okay,” you accept. You cup your hand over your mouth as a yawn rises without warning. “Mm, sorry.”
“As I said, please, rest your eyes. We have a long road,” he says. “Oh, you won’t mind some music? Any preference?”
“I’m not picky,” you assure him and lean back against the seat. Despite not wanting to check out, your body is screaming for sleep. Your muscles ease against the firm cushion and you can’t help a groan. “Whatever you like.”
You turn to look out the window, watching the streets and the few pedestrians on the pavement. Your lashes flick, weighed down by the sleepless night and the peak of adrenaline. Your head lolls and you let your eyelids close. Just for a minute and you’ll open them again...
When you stir, the car is still but idling. The engine hums and the AC flows. You look over at the empty driver seat and jolt upright. Huh?
Your panic is curtailed as the door opens and James appears with a tray of cups and a paper bag. He smiles as he lowers himself into the car and balances it all in his lap.
“I didn’t know if I should wake you but I grabbed some coffee. Sugar and cream if you need,” he wiggles free a cup and puts it in the holder. “And they had some lovely looking bagels--”
“Oh,” you wipe your chapped lips with the back of your hand. “You didn’t have to—I'm sorry I fell asleep...”
“I did expect it,” he chuckles as he hands you the paper bag. “It is your choice. I got one sesame seed and a pumpernickel. I hope that’s acceptable.”
“Mm, pumpernickel?” You clasp the top of the bag, “thanks, that’s... that’s so nice.”
“Not at all,” he takes his own cup as he puts the tray behind his seat. He inhales the scent through the slot of the lid. “Ah, not terrible. They had English.” He lifts the cup slightly. “How typical, yes? That I would rather tea.”
“I don’t mind tea,” you shrug and open the bag.
“We will eat then be back on the road. Further on, we will have something more substantial.” He explains.
You check the first bagel; sesame, and hand it to him. You sit and unwrap your own. Before you can have a bite, you gape at the digital clock in the dashboard.
“Holy... two hours?” You utter.
“Oh, yes, the time breezed by,” he remarks.
You hide a frown and bite into the toasted bagel. You feel a bit better but a glaze of dizziness lingers. You need the sleep but you’re embarrassed all the same. You shouldn’t be snoring in the passenger seat on your way to a job. After all, he’s technically your boss.
“Really, don’t worry,” he says as if he can read your mind.
“I’ll try not to,” you swallow.
You finish your food with minimal conversation. You’re still a little groggy but not as tired. You manage to stay awake as he sets off again.
You glance over at him. He’s a stranger but something about his presence is calming. So much so that you lost all wariness. After what you’ve been through with Jake, you should’ve taken a bit more time to think this through. It strikes you then that this man is taking you to some remote location, based on a single conversation...
You shake off your suspicion. It’s Jake. That’s all. He taught you distrust. Someone you thought was your friend, turned out to be a monster. Well, they say you’re more likely to be assaulted by someone you know. Maybe it’s good that you barely know James.
“How long were you in the city?” He asks, piercing through your inner turmoil.
“Oh, uh, about five years,” you answer. “I... you live there or....”
“Closeby,” he answers. “I think you can guess I’ve relocated but I do tend to hop around often. I get restless.”
“Ah, so that’s why you need a caretaker.”
“Essentially, yes,” he agrees. “I’ve not the ability to remain as long as I need. It was a colleague who suggested it. One of his rare good ideas.”
“Right,” you nod.
“Well, I trust you will keep good care of it,” he says over the steering wheel.
The journey unravels before you. It’s further than you thought, but you didn’t really pay much attention to your destination. You’re more concerned with getting away. All the business of thinking this out can wait until you can breathe.
As promised, you stop again to eat and relieve yourself. James girds only a few hours left. It’s taken most of the day to get this far and the road ahead is less a highway and more a rural path. You take your time eating, as much not to make yourself sick as to take a break from sitting in the car.
Back on the road, you feel the exhaustion fall on you again. You struggle to keep your eyes open as the evening deepens. James drives towards a thicket of trees, the moonlight flickering between them. You descend into the darkness as the car thrums through the noise of crickets and swaying leaves.
The fir thins and opens up to reveal a large stone wall and a wrought iron gate that gleams in the moonlight. The peaks of the large manor are painted silver in the night’s hue. You sit up to see it clearer. It looked big in the pictures but you’re blown away by the reality.
“A moment,” he stops and puts the car in park.
He gets out as you watch him through the gloom. He unlocks the gate and pulls it outward, just one side, enough to get through. He comes back and shifts gears, steering through and up the long paved drive. He kills the engine and sighs.
“I’ll just go lock up before we do the grand tour, if you don’t mind,” he says.
You give a noncommittal grumble as you undo your seat belt. You just want to stretch your legs. You get out parallel to him and he hurries off back toward the gate. The hinges creak loudly in the night, and eerie high-pitched noise.
As he returns, the moon hides behind a cloud and drapes his figure in black. “We’ll fetch the bags after. It’s dark out here.”
You’re too tired and uneasy to speak. Now that you’re here, the second thoughts begin. This man is still, at the core, a stranger. And more, you don’t exactly know where he’s taken you. You push back the doubt as another symptom of your year of torment. That was another man, not him.
He leads you towards the front door. You climb the curved stone steps as bats flutter off in the sky. You shiver as he unlocks the door and disappears within. A light beams through on and you shy away. He beckons you inward from behind it.
“Come,” he holds a flashlight. “We’ll need to turn the generator on.”
“Oh, uh, of course,” you agree and step inside.
He shuts the door as you enter and he turns to aim the light around the grand foyer. He slowly moves forward, sure to keep pace with you. You admire what you can in the shadows. The staircase that curls out at the bottom, and the carved posts that sharpen to points at the end of the banisters.
You follow him, huddling close without thinking. It feels as if you might get lost if you stray too far. He takes you along the hallways behind the stairs and to a narrow door at the end. He opens it and shines the light down.
“You first, I’ll keep the torch above you,” he says.
You look down the dark staircase then at him. He angles the light and brightens the way down. You turn and take the first step, and the next. Each groans beneath your weight as you put your hand on the railing. You get to the bottom and his own steps illicit creaks.
He nudges you as points the flashlight across the damp basement. It’s cold down there. You fold your arms as your teeth chatter. You go to the generator and he looks it over.
“You have the most important task,” he says and flips the light in his hand, “holding the torch.”
He offers it and you take it uncertainly. You shine it over the boxy generator and he examines it once more.
“We only need to turn the valve here,” he points, “then the choke,” he moves a rod from left to right, “turn the ignition,” he twists, “and pull the cord.” He grunts as he tugs, “just until you feel resistance and it should--” it rumbles and clanks, then mellows out to a steady hum. “There. Now, let it run for a moment and set the choke to run...” he steps back and dusts his hands off on his pants, “there’s a manual on the shelf over there in case you need to restart it, ever. Thunderstorms are not so kind here.”
“Oh, okay, uh, yeah. I’ll find that.”
“Mm, yes, well, how about tomorrow? If you don’t mind, I think I’ll be in better spirits for a tour then. Then you might see it in the light of day, eh?” He suggests. “For now, we’ll find you a place to sleep and get your bags in.”
“That sounds good,” you agree. “I am beat.”
“Me too,” he agrees. “There’s an old kettle around, I’ve some tea in my bag. If you’re interested.”
“Maybe in the morning,” you turn back to the stairs, steadying the sphere of light across them. “I just want to lay down.”
“Can’t blame you,” he trails behind you. “Given the way the day started, I’m certain you’re merely happy to be away from it all.”
“Oh...” you utter, a tinge of embarrassment nips in your cheeks. “Yeah, well, that was--- it’s over now, right?”
“Yes, a fresh start,” he agrees as you start up the stairs and he follows closely. “I do hope you find peace here.”

Your POV:
When we got home, my parents thanked greenie about a hundred times and he kept telling them it was no problem and that it was his job.
When me and my father where alone in the living room for a moment, he hugged me tightly, telling me how proud he was of me and he was so glad I stayed calm.
Spoiler alert, I had been panicking inside, so calm was not really the word, but I thanked him anyway.
Me and Greenie headed upstairs and instead of making him stay outside my room, I invited him in to stay and talk, like we often did.
“Well, Alistor is caught now, so I think that means you aren’t my bodyguard anymore,” I said and he shrugged. “I suppose so,” he said and he seemed rather disappointed. “Well see each other, right?” He asked and I nodded.
“I am pretty sure we will see each other a lot,” I grinned, almost sure that it was actually Lloyd sitting in front of me.
I glanced outside and made my way towards the window, the sun already setting. He came to stand behind me, watching outside aswel.
“You aren’t planning on running, are you?” He asked and I chuckled. “Not now, no,” I said and turned around to look at him.
He had been closer then I thought and our faces where mere inches apart, a look of surprise washing over my face.
“Hmm, I’m not sure if you’re boyfriend would love this,” he said ready to take a step back, but I grabbed his hand to stop him, making him shoot me a look of confusion.
“I don’t think he’d mind,” I said and his eyebrows furrowed, looking almost hurt. I smirked, because now I was sure. “Do you, Lloyd?”
His eyes widened and he stumbled over his words. “I- uh- what are you talking about?” He tried and I chuckled.
“Don’t even try,” I said unamused and he chuckled, taking off his mask. “Hi, princess,” he said and I smiled as I saw Lloyds face.
“Hi, greenie,” I said taking the collar of his gi to pull him closer. He leaned down slightly and kissed me, making me chuckle against his lips.
I took a small step back and sat down on my windowsill. He stood between my legs and licked my lips. I allowed his tongue to enter my mouth, leaning back slightly against my window.
His hands leant on my windowsill while mine where tangled in his hair.
He pulled away and leaned his forehead against mine, my eyes stayed closed for a moment and and he gave me another quick peck in my lips, making me chuckle.
“Y/n,” he said and I hummed in acknowledgment and opened my eyes. “I love you,” he said and my eyebrows rose into the air for a moment.
“You don’t have to say it back,” he told me. “I just wanted you to know,” he explained and a smile grew on my face.
“I love you too, Lloyd,” I told him and a huge grin grew onto his face before he leaned down and kissed me again, his hands going from the window sill to my waist.
His lips moved to the corner of my mouth and then trailed towards my jaw, making my breath hitch, yet I still moved my face so he could reach better, making him chuckle.
My hand was placed on the back of his neck, hoping he’d take the hint that this was completely okay, even though it was new.
He slowly moved down to my neck, planting soft kisses everywhere, I’d melt on the spot if I could.
Suddenly there was rapid knocking on the door making us jump apart. The door flew open and Lloyd put his mask on just in time as Ace ran into my room.
“Y/n now you don’t need a bodyguard can we get ice cream?” He asked excitedly and I laughed.
“I thought you liked Greenie,” I said and Ace looked him up and down. “I do, but I want to go with you… and your boyfriend,” he said and I chuckled.
“I’ll call Lloyd and ask him if he wants to get ice cream with us… even though it’s November.” I said and I looked at Lloyd who was already in the room. “Is that okay with you, mister green ninja?” I grinned.
“Of course, I’ll go home now,” he said and walked out of the room.
“Alright, can you call Lloyd now?” Ace asked and I grinned and took out my phone. “Do you want to call him?” I asked and his eyes shone with happiness.
I gave him the phone after dialling Lloyds number. He excitedly held it against his ear and I heard Lloyd picking up the phone.
“Hello?” He said and Ace gave me an amazed look.
“Lloyd!” Ace yelled. “You want to go get ice cream at MacDonalds with me and Y/n, right?” He asked, making me chuckle.
“Oh yes, I’d love to,” Lloyd said, probably having the biggest grin on his face. “How about I’ll come get you two in an hour?” He asked and Ace looked at me for approval.
I nodded at him that it was alright, which he immediately voiced. “N/n says yes,” he told Lloyd who chuckled.
“Alright then, I’ll see you in an hour, little man,” Lloyd bid my brother goodbye who then did that same before I got my phone back.
“Now, go tell mom and dad that the two of us are eating out with Lloyd,” I said and Ace nodded and ran downstairs.
Moments later, I heard knocks on my window and saw Lloyd sitting outside with a grin. I opened it and he stepped into my room.
“So, I’m headed home to go borrow Nya’s car and then I’ll come get the two of you, is suppose?” He said, pulling me towards him.
“That is completely correct,” I smiled as I put my arms around his neck, “but let’s finish this up first,”
It was currently a few days later and I was taking Lloyd with me too meet my friends at the skate park.
“Don’t be nervous, they don’t bite,” I said with a chuckle before thinking for a moment. “Actually, scratch that, Amelia might bite, but don’t mind her, she’s a demon,” I said and he let out a small huff of nervous laughter.
I waved at my friends as we entered the gates of the skatepark and Luna immediately came running over, followed by Anthony.
“Y/n, help! He’s going to kill me,” before she could reach us, he tackled her to the ground and sat on top of her.
“Delete the picture,” he commanded and she tried to escape his grip.
“Never,” she yelled and then took her phone out of her pocket and reached it to me. “N/n, take it and run, send it to the group chat!” She said and before Antony could grab the phone, I quickly took it, dropped my skateboard and ran.
He followed me quickly and I yelped as he almost got me.
I opened our groupchat and saw the picture immediately, it was a horrible picture of Anthony and I laughed and quickly send it before he tackled me to the ground.
“To late,” I said making him groan and get of me.
“Lu, you are so dead!” He said as he walked over to her, after Lloyd had helped her up.
“Hey- you can murder her AFTER, she gets to know my boyfriend, alright?” I said and picked my skateboard up again.
I took Lloyds hand and we made our way to the others who where standing one the halfpipe.
“Yay, we’re meeting the boyfriend!” Millie said, jumping up and down excitedly. Antony and Luna ran past us and also got onto the halfpipe with ease.
I let go of Lloyds hand and ran after them, needing the speed to get onto the platform.
“Do you need help getting up?” Arthur asked Lloyd who shook his head and got up with ease. “Well, that’s easier than Flora does it,” Arthur shrugged with a grin, making the girl hit us arm.
“You are such a dick!” She said and he chuckled and tried dodging her swings at him.
“Hey, hey, hey, try to make a good impression, please, I don’t want him to be scared of you guys,” I said and Flora stopped hitting Arty.
“Alright, so, let me introduce you to these morons,” I said, to Lloyd who chuckled while the others gave me offended looks.
“The idiot looking one with the messy ass hair is James,” I pointed out. “The bad ass one, that’s actually a huge softy and that just got tackled is Luna, the one that just rudely tackled both me and Lu is Anthony, who you can’t mistake for his much more of an idiot twin brother Arthur,” I said, making Anthony grin and Arthur shoot me a warning glare.
“Then you have that extremely busy demon over there, the one that might bite, that’s Amelia, the ginger with the stupid hat there is Charles- or well, Charlie, no one calls him Charles,” I waved off.
“And then finally, the calmest one- which says a lot since she just hit someone, is Flora, and yes I know she looks like Flora from the Winx, but I promise this one’s different,” I said and let out a sigh of relief for being done.
“Alright, I think I got it,” Lloyd chuckled.
“Alright, and guys, this is Lloyd, be nice to him or I will castrate all of you,” I said with a warning glare.
“Alright, Lloyd, have you ever skateboarded before?” James asked and Lloyd shook his head.
“Uh, no, I have not,” he said and shot me a glance, I did not tell him that he’d have to do that.
“Good,” Arthur said and handed him the skateboard he was holding. “We love some fresh meat,” he joked and glanced at Flora. “Don’t we, Flores?” He asked and she glared at him.
“Don’t even start, you bimbo,” she said and we chuckled.
“Flora is- well, besides you now, but before you she was our newest member, she loved learning how to skateboard from us,” Luna said and grinned at the girl who mouthed ‘no’ to Lloyd.
“I see,” Lloyd said and looked at the board in his hands. “Should I be scared?” He asked and the twins exchanged looks.
“Definitely,” they said in sinc. Amelia then took the skate board from Lloyd and put it down.
“Come, stand on it, we’ll push you, and just hope you survive,” she said with a grin and Lloyd gave me a look, as if asking me if he had to do it or no.
“Don’t look at me, I’m not helping you here,” I said and he shook his head before making his way over to the skateboard.
“How do I stand on it?” He asked Amelia and she quickly explained it to him. He stood on the skateboard and looked at the girl next to him. “And now?” He asked.
“Now we push you,” she said with a smile and went to stand behind him.
“Excuse me” he said before he was pushed and the skateboard rolled down, making everyone cheer.
He made it down safely, but when he went up on the other side, it was like a reflex, he almost fell so he did a backflip, landing on his feet and catching the skateboard in the process.
He turned around at the group with an amused smile as they where all silent before clapping and cheering.
“Yes, I like this guy,” James smirked and Lloyd climbed back up.
“You’re all crazy,” he laughed and handed the skateboard back to Anthony.
“That’s our brand,” Luna grinned proudly. “But seriously, how did you do that?” She asked excitedly. “Can you teach me?” She had stars in her eyes by now.
“Oh, me and my friends are all kind of into ninjitsu and a few other things, so I learned it from them when I met them,” he explained to them, that was not a lie at all, he did learn it from them.
“And, if you want, I can teach you, but I can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to do it at the end of the day,” he said and Luna just shrugged.
“We can always try,” she grinned. So, while we were skating, Lloyd was teaching Luna how to do a backflip.
So now and then, someone went over to watch, or maybe try a few things, but I loved to see how my friends got along with my boyfriend.
“Hey, Charles!” I called, jumping off the halfpipe and making my way over to Charlie who stood with Lloyd, Luna and James.
“You’re going to give Flora a sweater next week, right?” I asked and he frowned.
“What?” He asked and I gasped dramatically while Luna shot him a glare.
“Charlie!” She scolded and he gave us both confused looks, while the other boys also seemed rather surprised.
“It’s the third of December next week and on the third of December you give your girlfriend one of your sweaters!” I explained and he frowned.
“Says who?” He asked, exchanging looks with James who stood next to him.
“Says Conan Gray!” Both me and Luna said in sinc. “Bitch- I’m getting my phone, you are all going to listen to heather right now.” Lu said.
“Anthony, Arthur!” I called out and the two boys looked up from where they stood at the flat rail. “Do you know Conan Gray?” I yelled and they gave each other confused looks.
“No?” Arty yelled back, making me exchange a look with Luna.
“Get your asses over here!” I yelled and they both picked up their boards and headed over to us with confused faces as Luna ran to the bags to get her phone.
Millie and Flora came walking over, both with their skateboards in hand.
“Did I hear that correct, you guys don’t know Conan Gray?” Amelia asked. “Hold on- is this about Heather?” She looked at me and I nodded.
“Who’s Heather” James was cut off by a finger being pointed closely at his face from Amelia.
“Don’t even start!” She said angrily. “You guys don’t know the song- Lloyd, Charlie, you two do realise you have to give up one of your sweaters for your girlfriends?” She turned to the two, who exchanged confused glances.
“What?” Lloyd asked and gave me a look, as if wanting to ask if we were serious.
Luna then came running back with her phone and our speaker. She connected the two and started playing Heather.
When the song ended, the boys were still confused, making Millie hit Charlie in the back of the head.
“I still remember, third of december, me in your sweater,” Luna quoted the song. “Ever since this song came out, it’s tradition you give your partner a sweater,” she explained.
The boys all chuckled at the our insistence and Lloyd kissed my temple. “We’ll see,” he murmured and took my hand.
“Enough chit chat, I’m hungry, let’s go to Harvey’s,” James took Amelia’s hand and dragged her towards their stuff, seeing as she was always the one staying behind because she wasn’t ready yet.
I took James’ arm as he walked past me and he gave me a confused look.
“Let’s go to Harvey’s, and pay for all of our stuff,” I said slowly and James shot a quick glance at Lloyd, before innocently grinning.
“Right,” he said and headed back to the bags, being followed by everyone. I was about to head there aswel before I froze and turned to Lloyd who stood next to me.
“Are you two coming?” Antony called and I gave him a quick, fake smile.
“We’ll be there in a second,” I said and then turned to Lloyd. “You fucking know?” I asked and he gave me a stay grin. “I forgot that you know everything greenie knows!” I combed a hand trough my hair.
“Why have you never brought this up- you literally caught me stealing!” I said and he chuckled at my reaction.
“I was waiting for you to let the realisation sink in,” he grinned and patted my head. “It’s alright, love, we’ll talk about it later,” he said and went to follow the others but was stopped by me.
“I talked about liking you, why I liked you and all that kind of stuff… WITH YOU?!” I went to whack his arm and he quickly dodged me.
“It was hilarious,” he said triumphantly. “I send you a voice message because you told greenie- or me, that you wanted to hear my voice, I hugged you at our second date, because you had said you really wanted to hug me, I knew every little thing you liked about me, because you told me,” he grinned and I stood perplexed for a moment.
“Holy shit,” I muttered, before realising something else. “I told you I wanted to make out with you, without knowing!” I said and he laughed at my embarrassment.
“Well, I did what you wanted, didn’t I?” He asked and I hit his shoulder before walking away, making him chuckle and follow me. “Are you upset with me?” He asked, still chuckling.
“No… maybe a bit,” I said, shooting him a small grin.
“Hey, you didn’t tell me about your powers either, so I say we’re equal,” he pointed out and I groaned.
“Shit, now I can’t make you do things because of this,” I whined and he let out a surprised laugh.
“Hey, love birds, hurry up!” Arthur yelled and we looked up to see everyone ready to go.
“Coming!” I yelled back and we linked hands before running over to them.

“it’s okay, i couldn’t sleep anyway” for the prompt thing!! (-patheticgirlsteve)
OKAY SO this prompt is from a prompt list I rb'd in December (wowza!) and I found the writing for this prompt half finished in my WIPs folder today and decided to finish it!
This ficlet is also a look into the in-progress When Harry Met Sally-inspired AU/canon divergence fic. I've been sitting on both that fic and this snippet for far too long and have been itching to share something. So, here's the something!
(something set in the late summer of '98, in a city that doesn't bode well during heat waves)
It’s an unusually hot night in Steve’s apartment.
It's going to be an unusually hot week in the city, actually.
Steve has gotten used to the temperate San Francisco weather in the 11 years he's been a resident. But after 11 years, he's still surprised at the random bursts of heat that creep in during these last few weeks of August. Just in time for him and his students to sit inside the toaster oven that is his classroom during the first week of school.
Thankfully, it's not a school night. The last week of his summer vacation, and he's spent most of the daylight hours dangling half of his body out of the screen-less street-facing window in his apartment, praying a breeze would whip past him. (It didn't).
After an hour of tossing and turning in bed, in nothing but a pair of boxers, the open window providing no relief, the air stale and hot and a bit sticky, he decided to move to the living room, where he will still be suffering, but at least there's a TV out there.
A movie he remembers seeing with Robin in the theater during their Oakland days is playing as soon as he flicks on the TV, reminding him of how long it's been since they've lived together, let alone in that first apartment in Oakland. Freshly 20 and 21, figuring out how to live on their own, thousands of miles from everyone and everything they knew. Figuring out how to deal with the calmness of it all.
Remembers talking about the movie again in '92, and being annoyed with all of his friends (Eddie and Nancy) who thought that Lloyd and Diane broke up in London. Wonders if they're still as cynical about love today as they were back then.
As he's counting the years back in his head, the phone rings, pulling him out of his thoughts.
“Hel-lo?” He answers, remembering that it is 2am in the middle of the word, dragging it into two syllables to make it seem like he's shocked that someone is calling him.
“What the hell are you doing awake at this hour?” Eddie quips, Steve reflexively rolls his eyes, at both the tone of his voice and the question itself.
“How do you know that you didn’t just interrupt my much needed beauty sleep?” He scoffs, flicking his head like he would if Eddie were sitting right here on the couch with him. Eddie must pick up on it, chuckling over the phone, a similar sound to the one he made when he was sitting on this couch hours ago, suffering with Steve in his apartment.
Now there's something twenty-one year old Steve would be shocked to learn. That him and Eddie became friends, at all.
“I can hear the TV.” Steve hums in response, turns the volume down a notch or two. “But, here’s a courtesy ‘I’m sorry’ for the late night call.”
“It’s okay. I couldn’t sleep anyway.” Steve sighs as the slightest breeze rolls through the open window. He's a much better sleeper than twenty-one year old Steve, but due to recent life-changing events and this damn heat-wave, a late-night phone call with Eddie is almost routine at this point
“I miss Evie’s apartment. She had AC.” Eddie says, casually. Steve still doesn't get how he can talk about her so casually. How he can just bring her up like it's nothing. If he even thinks about -
“I still can’t believe you got your heartbroken by a trust fund baby.” He says, cutting off his own thought.
“I’m more heartbroken about that AC unit right now,” still casual, as if he is actually heartbroken about an AC and not a person.
“What’re you watching?” He asks.
“Say Anything.”
“Channel?”
“12.”
The scene where Lloyd is talking to Diane’s father on the prison yard. It makes him think of Eddie on the other line, sitting in his unintentional bachelor pad a few blocks away from his own. The thought must’ve made Eddie’s ears burn.
“That’s not what visitation is actually like, ya know?” His voice is soft.
“Oh yeah?” Steve says, wanting to encourage but not pry.
“Yeah. It’s indoors, at tables, cold and gray. Feels dirty and sterile at the same time.” Eddie says.
“I always thought it happened between a plane of glass, with a telephone on either side of the glass.” Steve offers, giving him an out, a chance to change the subject if he wants to bow out.
“That’s what it’s like in county jail. Prison’s different.” Steve hums again, knows there’s no need to respond with anything else. Steve doesn’t need to ask him how he knows all of this. He knows that Eddie doesn’t expect him to ask. That’s the thing, about old friends, about them, about their whole gang. There are certain things they’ll always know about each other.
His mind drifts to a little Eddie and a younger Wayne, walking into a room just like Eddie had described, going through the motions. It pulls at his chest a little.
“Do you still think they broke up in London?” Steve tests.
“I don’t think they broke up in London?” Eddie says, a tad defensive.
“Yes you do, or you did.” He remembers the conversation, he knows Eddie must remember the conversation.
“When did I say that?”
“In San Diego, we had a whole thing about it, the five of us.” The drunk and loud debate was held stuffed into a diner booth in San Diego. Before you left.
Eddie pauses.
“I did say that, didn’t I?”
“You sure did.”
“Well, to answer your question, no. I don't think so. I think that they’re two weirdos who were meant for each other.” Eddie says, Steve sinks further into the couch, holds the phone up with his shoulder.
“That's exactly what I said then.”
"Well, I think it now."
"Me too." It comes out softer than he expected. Suddenly thankful that this conversation is happening over the phone, so he can scrunch the feeling away from his face, take a deep breath and shake the feeling that just washed over his body.
“I know a thing or two about weirdos who’re meant for each other.” Eddie says playfully, that tone he uses when he's half-joking, but half-serious. Steve feels something bubble in the very depths of his stomach.
“Oh yeah? Who?”
“You and Robin.” Pop. He lets out a deep breath.
“Ha ha.” Steve says, toning up the sarcasm.
“Max and Lucas, Joyce and Jim, the entire gang who’s bonded by the terrors of the 80s and government NDA’s.” Steve’s laugh barks out of him, he can’t hide how surprised he is at these words coming out of Eddie’s mouth.
“What? What’s so funny?”
“Nothing, it’s just…” He trails off, trying to choose his next words carefully. “Not used to you talking about the past. Hasn’t really been your thing.” His mind drifts momentarily to San Diego again. Watching him hail that cab. Running away.
“There's a lotta things that I used to do, or not do.” There’s a pause. Either of them could say something, there’s something dangling in the air between them, between their two phone lines, filling the space between their two apartments. Just as Steve opens his mouth to say something, cut the tension, snatch the feeling out of the air, Eddie beats him to it.

The Ninja ft. Their musical preferences/hcs
Here are my hcs on what type of music each ninja prefers, plus a few extra bits!!
Tumblr media
Enjoy hehe
Kai
You'll never find someone who loves rap more than him
His favourite song is Candy Shop and he uses its audio to all the thirst traps he makes 😭
(Yes I hc that he makes thirst traps)
He had a phase where he listened to Pass Out by Tinie Tempah on repeat
He got so embarrassed because he got caught singing along to the Boy's a Liar pt 2
Jay didn't let him live it down for like a week
Other than rap he likes the songs I Love You Hoe, Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Cole introduced those songs to him
He definitely uses the rose gold Beats headphones
Skylor borrows them all the time
Jay
Kpop. Just Kpop.
He legit forced Nya to go out to get the BTS meal with him
Lit by Oneus used to be his favourite song, now it's The Feels by Twice
He HATES Stray Kids
He stans BTS, Twice, Dreamcatcher and NCT
If not Kpop, then The Weekend
Stargirl Interlude>>
Him and Cole woke everybody up singing this song at the top of their lungs at like 2AM
He sings into Nya's hairbrush
When he's feeling extra romantic and confident he'll sing "I just wanna see you shine, because I know you are a stargirl" to Nya
He sounds terrible but she loves it
He owns a bunch of lightsticks
A proud photocards collector
Bash any if his favourite artists on twitter/chirp and he won't hold back. Trust me.
When The Feels was first released he cried like a baby because that day they had a mission and he couldn't find his airpods
The poor boy was so upset he couldn't listen to it but Cole offered his headphones to him
He broke them and Cole nearly smashed his face in but dw Zane fixed it because he's wonderful
Zane
Zane loves classical music, he taught himself to play the violin and he plays it for Pixal in their free time
Classical is his favourite genre, but he's an all-rounder
He doesn't listen to music much so he just has one playlist with a bunch of completely different songs
Loves a bit of Florence + The Machine
Pixal introduced her songs to him
He has so many favourites in the classical genre but outside of it his favourite song is probably Spectrum by Florence + The Machine
He and Pixal dance to the song 2002
It's her favourite song and whenever they go on dates Zane makes sure to play it when they're driving back home afterwards
Cole
He's probably going deaf bc his headphones are on like 24/7 (I also forgot to mention he's a DJ in my Cole hcs)
His headphones are personalised
Evolved from a nightcore kid to a slowed + reverb teen/young adult
The others sometimes spy on him while he's singing to the music when he's alone, because he'll never sing in front of anyone and his voice is angelic
His favourite songs are #brooklynbloodpop and Am I Dreaming (from atsv), but dw he's got WAY more favourites
Fluxxwave, CRYSTALS, Luxxid Diamondz, Kurxxed Emeraldz, yeah those type of songs but slowed + reverb
He loves some soft rock aswell
Slowed songs bring out his romantic side, you'll definitely find him sitting by a window while he's blasting the slowed version of What Do You Mean into his ears
Or you'll come across him laying on his bed with his eyes closed, you can hear the slowed Cruel Summer by Taylor Swift from his headpones even though you're literally at the door
Thats how loud it is
AC/DC>>>> HE LOVES THIS BAND SM HE COULD TALK ABT IT FOR HOURS
He owns a bunch of their merch as well
Nya
SZA FOR LIFEEEE
All The Stars and Good Days>>>>
You can hear SZA songs coming from her room all the time and everyone gets sick of it
Obsessed with Rihanna songs as well
OH NA NA WHATS MY NAMEEE
ahem anyways
She loves it when Jay sings to her even though he sounds like a dying cat
MARINA. SHE LOVES MARINA.
The family jewels, How to be a heartbreaker, Hermit the frog, she could go on and on
Also PinkPantheress>>
It's rare, but she sings along to her songs sometimes and her voice is actually beautiful
Lloyd
ONE OF THE BIGGEST SWIFTIES IN ALL OF NINJAGO
Like 75% of his main playlist is just Taylor Swift
Molly (forgotten remix) is his favourite song
He loves going out on drives late at night while blasting this song out of the speakers
He's almost as bad as Cole, he plugs in his ears with his earphones literally all the time but doesn't play music that loud
Style by Taylor Swift>>>>
Argues with Cole about whether it should be"He looks so pretty like the devil" or "He looks up grinning like a devil" from Cruel Summer
He thinks it's the first one
He also loves Middle by DJ Snake
He used to listen to Galantis a lot but Kai bullied him for it
(Little does he know Kai used to sing Runaway (U and I) in the shower almost everyday)
That is all! So sorry that these are all so random 😭
Their music tastes are really messy and chaotic just like them hehe
I hope yall enjoyed this though 🤭

Best Energy Efficient Ac in India in the one-ton variant from leading brands
Choosing the best energy-efficient air conditioner in India is indeed a daunting task. We can find the best-split air conditioners in unique designs and colors to match the home's interiors and one’s budget. The major concerns while buying a split air conditioner for the home are buying an air conditioner with the latest technology and finding the one with maximum energy efficiency. These two features help in creating a perfect indoor climate.
Energy efficient rating in air conditioners:
Power consumption and energy efficiency are important parameters of an air conditioner. It is mandatory that we check these features in the appliance so as to enjoy the best value for money. The energy star rating of the appliance indicates its energy efficiency. The higher the star rating of the appliance, the more efficient the appliance will be. An air conditioning unit with a five-star rating will use less electricity compared to one with a four-star rating, possibly resulting in power savings of at least 10%. It is important to recognize the significance of this slight disparity in energy usage as it can greatly reduce our utility expenses.  Therefore, it is crucial to invest in the top energy-saving air conditioner available in India, which possesses a higher Energy Star certification.
Thus, while buying a small air conditioner for a small room, under normal usage conditioners, a three-star 1-ton split AC is fine. But, while buying an air conditioner for a bigger space, and if you are using the air conditioner for 15 hours a day, then a 5-star air conditioner is best to save more energy. Some best 1 ton split AC from leading brands like Carrier Midea offer exceptional energy efficiency along with low consumption of power. Split ACs with inverter technology are superior to window air conditioners as they have the capability to significantly reduce power consumption. These innovative AC units are tailored to meet the changing air conditioning requirements of today's world, providing efficient cooling and maximizing energy efficiency for users.
Top brands that sell energy-efficient AC in India:
Some of the top brands that offer the best energy-efficient AC in India are as follows.
Carrier Midea
Voltas
Daikin
LG
Blue star
Panasonic
Lloyd
Godrej
Samsung
FAQ:
How can I save on the AC electricity bill?
It is a wise choice to opt for inverter air conditioners. They are more energy efficient than the window air conditioners. The sensors in these best 1-Ton Split AC with inverter are capable of managing the power on the basis of the room temperature.
Best energy-efficient air conditioner brand in India:
Carrier Midea offers the best energy-efficient AC in India. The Carrier Emperia Nxi, a 1-ton 3-star Wi-Fi Inverter Split AC, offers exceptional and superior cooling performance. It is capable of operating even in the most extreme weather conditions and is available at an amazing cost that fits everyone’s budget. The carrier hybridjet air conditioner offers uninterrupted cooling at a very high ambient temperature of 55 degrees Celsius and a very low voltage of 195 volts. Its follow-me feature offers quicker and targeted cooling, even at the remoter corners of the room. Being the best energy efficient AC in India, it offers the following features.
4 in 1 air conditioning system with flexicool technology
Works exceptionally well even at 55 degrees Celsius outdoor temperature
10 years of warranty on the compressor
PM 2.5 filter that is capable of filtering impurities to a great extent
It comprises of 100% copper interiors
Two-year outdoor PCB warranty.
Bottom Line:
Choosing the right air conditioner strikes the right balance between comfort and sustainability. With the advancements in modern technology, it is now possible to get the best energy-efficient AC in India, with many smart features. Choosing the best air conditioner in India is mandatory for maintaining a cool indoor environment, especially during the summer months.
