"Hey. Uh, DBK?" MK asks during a training session with the Iron Bull Family, it was shortly after the Calabash incident and soemthing the Silver and Gold Twins had said kept bothering him, "Do you know about Yun and Jin?"

"The Vixen's boys? What of them?" The Bull King snorted as he drank from an admittedly large water bottle that Iron Fan had brought him. They were taking a break from sparring while Wukong and Iron Fan supervised from the sidelines, "I know you had an encounter of sorts, but they aren't anything to be concerned over."

"I know, it's just..." MK glances over at where his mentor was speaking to Tieshan, making sure the pregnant monkey was occupied, "They said some stuff and... I cast help but think about it."

"What manner of things?"

"...Who is Macaque?"

It was as if the air had been sucked from DBK's chest as he flinched, eyes desperately glancing over towards Wukong and Tieshan, harshly Whispering his reply in a rushed manner

"You would do well not to speak of him in Wukong's presence! Liu'er Mihou is a very sensitive subject to him, and not one to lightly bring up with his condition. Especially with his condition, little thief. So you understand?"

MK's eyes were wide ad he nodded frantically as tbe large bull gave hin the most intense glare he's seen yet, one rufe with warning. He decided it'd be best to drop the subject for now, perhaps ask Tang later, if anyone knows it'd be him!

MK getting suspcious feelings from his interaction with Jin & Yin in the au and realising that Monkey King isn't telling him something, and asking the closest person to the King that he knows first.

MK immediately realising from DBK's reaction that this "Macaque" person is someone *important* and someone to ask around about. Is he responsible for why Monkey King is like this? Oh sweet buddha, is he the egg-daddy?!

I love the idea of Wukong supervising MK's training sessions with the Demon Bull couple, mostly cus I imagine he'd hate not to see his successor's progress even if he can't really show MK his moves one-to-one.

Also, DBK drinking a giant water bottle. Got him some Heavy Bubbles.

I headcanon that it wasn’t death that made Macaque a scheming savage and a dirty player, he was always like that. But back in the days of the Brotherhood he was more shy and timid, which, combined with adoration of Wukong and (at the time) small figure, made him look rather harmless and sometimes naive.

But, sometimes, his true nature did shine through

Unfortunately I don't have the patience to draw all them itty bitty tiles so I kinda cheated and used a stone texture layer on top (^-^')\

YOU WON'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH TROUBLE DBK'S EYEBROWS GAVE ME.

Hope you don't mind but I gave a couple more details to our favorite celestial-bull couple.

I mean Iron Fan is supposedly an empress of an empire right? Why not make her look the part? I didn't know how to bling up DBK though...

Also you might notice, I've drawn the samadhi flower! It has four big petals and four small in between (nod to the four rings) a pattern within shaped like flames (self explanatory) and a center with the 3 swirly thingy symbol (idk what it's called)

You might notice right next to the lil baboo, DBK's hands are kinda charred to a crisp (I read the 1st chapter, yes I know) but this boi is grinning like there's no tomorrow with his wife and child and we love that for him!

There's a pot of burning incense which the chinese use for the dead which I don't think the ironbull couple would like very much.

Like they'd let the townsfolk do it, they're just being respectful, but they'd still resent it in hopes that their son is still alive somewhere

I’ve got an interesting idea. Since MK has been discovered to have SWK’s powers, what would happen if MK got ahold of Wukong’s staff?

In this case

Sun Wukong would tell MK about his great adventures and his fight with the Demon Bull King.

mk wanted to see his father's staf in person, and then he would meet the Princess Iron Fan.

I like to believe Wukong knew about Macaque special ability of him knowing the past and future. That the two monkeys trusted DBK so much that they agree to tell him. They also talked about the other brothers knowing; Wukong didn’t want to tell Peng, and Yellow Tusk while Macaque did NOT want Azure Lion to know.

Also I like to believe DBK supported Shadowpeach too and push Wukong to be with Macaque. That’s my canon in my head lol. 😭🤭

Why the Newer Villians in Lego Monkie are more scarier

So we all know that in the start of Season 4 MK said:

MK: "What if this is the part in our hero's journeys where things get a little bit darker."

And yea, im pretty sure we can all agree witht that-

But then, while i was writing an analysis/theory video on the villians of lmk, i reailzed something.

The newer villians are more "scarier and darker" because of two things:

How they interact with our heroes

Their colour symbolism and its influence on feel of the show

How they intereact with our heros

Now when im talking about "newer villians" im specifically talking about:

LBD and the mayor

The ink demons

The Brotherhood

The hooded guy from the underworld

First of all theese villians are much more smarter with how they plan things out.

While past villians like DBK and Spider Queen are hurrying to do anything to defeat our main characthers, our newer threaths plan things out more.

They are built up more slowly, but that also means that they can suddenly come out of the shadows and attack our heroes where they thought they were safe, and end up terryifing both for the characthers and us watching.

Hell, we havent even truly met the hooded guy yet, but he has already managed to give MK and idenity chrisis, kill Wukong for a period of time and introduce us to the ink demons, who are scary enough of themselves.

And in that scene where LBD was tormenting MK for the first time, she was moving slower, but she still scared the living shit out of everyone. This is probaly because she put herself so much apart from the normally high paste show we are used to, which just felt so wrong.

That they also have time to grow in the shadows, means they can also learn a lot about our main characthers, which leads to one of their best but scairest skills, manipulation.

For an example, LBD may be dead, but she still haunts the show because of her genius but terrifying manipulation she planted like a diseasce in MK and the rest of the show.

Their colour symbolism and its influence on the feel of the show

Villians like DBK, Spider Queen and even Macaque, though meant to be evil, they still match very well with the feel of the show.

This is because, like the rest of the show, they still are shown in bright colours.

But again with our newer villians, they have more blue, grey and/ or a more monotone look, again putting them apart from the rest.

The colour symbolism, both positive and negative, and influence speaks enough for itself

Blue: Melancholy, sad, visdom, truth, effectiv

Grey: Mysteries, lonlieness, death, deressing

3. I have more way more things to say about these antagonists, more specifically LBD and that hooded guy. So i am currently, as i mentioned earlier, writing an analysis/ theory video about them. Its acutally about a quiestion thats been bugging me for a while:

If LBD's goal is destiny, while the guy from the underworlds goal is chaos, two very the most opposite goals, why are they both evil?

I plan to have this video uploaded on Youtube at some point in the next week, since its sunday today, so look out for that if you are interested. I will make a post about it, when i upload it.
