Kim comes into existence again with a whimper, at first simply ashamed by her demise, with a linger ache- but the sound rapidly progresses to a pained shriek, a response to the state she was entering the world in- lines of code flashing wildly and flying by as they attempted to snap themselves into shape, giving her form. It was a painful, messy thing- and not something she'd experienced before, to know if something was amiss. When the code settles, she stumbles forward while clutching her sides, gasping for breath as she tries to orient herself. She fumbles around, gripping at her chest and her hair- no holes, no burns....

Did I... Did I just die? The question echoes out around her, despite having thought it- it makes her jump, a little, looking around wildly with a spin. All that surrounds her is nothing- nothing presented as dark void and a small circle of white beneath her feet, which moved along with her. Kim tries her best not to freak out, but she knows her face must be a sight, tears already coming to the corners of her eyes.

No. No, no, no! I can't- things were going so well for once, and I just- FUCK!

Kim falls to her knees, punching at the "ground" as she grits her teeth.

How the FUCK did I let this happen?! No goddamn snacks on hand- FUCK! You're such a FUCKING IDIOT, Kimberly!

Angry tears start to stream down her face as she continues her punching, vision blurring rather quickly. She doesn't stop until her arms are tired and the sides of her hands are throbbing and red, shakey as she painfully uncurls her fingers.

... God, what are they all gonna think of me? What's Ramona gonna think of me? I couldn't even get passed the first one...

Her breath hitches with the familiar hiccup of a sob wanting to start, and Kim slams a hand over her mouth as she clenches her eyes tight, trying to calm herself. It takes several minutes before she can rise to her feet, a little unsteady, but the tears keep coming even after she's wiped them away a good three or four times. She supposes its a reasonable reaction to her own demise, so she stops trying to get rid of them, grimacing as they drip down her face.

She turns, expecting to see nothing, but ends up surprised- before her, hovering in massive text up above, reads: GAME OVER! She blinks at it for a moment, confused, as it does a sort of fading blink, then begins scaling down, until each letter is maybe the size of her head. The letters pulse gently before the exclamation point fades out, and below the text, two boxes fade in instead. To the left the box is labeled "RESTART," and to the right, "LOAD SAVE."

btw i’m getting so carried away w/ the werewolves. like ugh they’re really just a dumbass polycule and only one of them is even semi aware of it. 

timber and dani are incapable of admitting their feelings to each other but literally everyone else on campus is under the impression they’re dating already

 including nat, who stumbles into their dynamic at its most fucked up when dani has first found out about the whole lycanthropy thing and is just like “haha werewolves amiright?” and accidentally cements herself as dani’s one source of knowledge and comfort during The Emo Separation Months (tm)

and then when spring rolls around, not only can dani see timber again but also she gets to meet the wolf that nat was waiting for, and thus enter misty, who is a rascal with a heart of gold kinda type. (also nat and misty are Actually dating bc they have their shit together)

misty first gets involved bc she’s lowkey jealous that dani got so close to nat so quick, but it’s petty and it doesn’t last long, and they become Best Buds within the week.

and then her focus shifts to timber, bc the girl is fucked up and it’s partly fascinating partly horrifying, and she tries to be a good influence in terms of helping her not bottle up all of the wolf-isms, and though it takes some time to get her out of her shell eventually timber comes to really enjoy misty’s company

and then nat is staring at dani staring at timber and misty and she’s like “Oh. we’re all just gay, i guess.” but joke’s on her bc as the schoolyear goes on she gets to see that timber is an Actor, Liar, and Manipulator just like her, she just goes about it a different way and also has catholic guilt about it. and nat is completely Bewitched

and now they’re a fucked up little square. and timber and dani still haven’t confessed to each other yet. and misty is a himbo who has no idea what’s going on. and nat is suffering. and they’re my blorbos and i’m putting them in a jar and shaking them around

Bangtan portrait studies/practice?? :D I started this in January with Namjoon and wasn't expecting this to take most of the 2023 to finish haha oops There were events and trips and concerts and things that came up so I got sidetracked from this lol Initially started this so I had better familiarity with their faces when I started working on my sister's birthday painting, but... that's not finished yet??? and these drawings are 😵‍💫???? ?? ( aaa gonna get back to working on that ;w; )

Also thought it would give me confidence to draw them all more, I think it might've helped? haha I had a lot of fun doing these and feel like I wanna sketch more :3c Felt rusty with sketching when I started this haha

OOH okay had to dig into the back caverns of my brain for this one as it’s been a few years since i’ve done a playthrough, but he is one of my guys EVER so! let’s seeeeee

my first thought is someone who is fun but perhaps a bit dry with their humor! maybe someone who seems mature but has a nicely-hidden mischievous side. imo, pairing this type of smartass kind of pseudo-big bro character with someone who is too serious kills chemistry, but there needs to be a little balance for his rowdy flirt personality.

at the risk of being cliche, he might be an “i love a woman who can kick my ass” guy (which is probably thanks to voice actor overlap oops), though, y’know gender neutral, however you please for what his orientation is :P someone who’s good to spar with, who doesn’t mind staying up late alongside the guys as they’re working, who doesn’t mind breaking a sweat or throwing hands themself if they have to! someone who humors him, but not without a good dose of their own teasing.

i think a charismatic, witty bartender or host(ess) character would be a great compliment to him! they’d need to fit into the whole crew, so another staff member (a new hire? or a superior? 👀) would lend well to bantering and friendship with other characters too!

**though full disclosure i am so biased for bartender characters and it’s probably because of this game’s setting lol
