IN THE BEGINNING Michael was essentially the heavy hand of the Law. He made sure everything stayed in its place and whatever direction Marie (at the time God) and Lucifer took it in he enforced it.

While he's an ambitious dickhead he's not all that creative, so he never actively planned against Marie outside of the regular Bad Thoughts. He jumped at the opportunity to take advantage of Lucifer's coup against her and turned that battle into an absolute nightmare for everyone.

In the end Michael was the one who fatally wounded Marie and banished Lucifer... and as such become the head honcho of Heaven which he has been reforming into a sort of militarian dictatorship since.

Lucky for him, winners get to write the history books so the prevalent notion is that Michael is a hero of Heaven and Marie is still God, albeit removed from the public eye. No one except for a select few archangels know who is actually calling the shots (Spoiler: it's Michael, he's playing the part of the legislative, executive, and judicial branches simultaneously while making it seem like there is still someone else behind the curtain).

Does he love the power? Absolutely. Does he love the day to day nonsense of running a kingdom? No, he's so over it.

Man, still thinking about how... The last game I played before jumping into Elden Ring again was Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits -- and boy howdy! Certain things from that game became harsher in hindsight!

Let's see...

First off, you've got the Humans and Deimos -- A race of humanoid monsters that were created by humans. So you've got these two races feuding with one another over territory.

The protagonists are twin brothers Kharg and Darc; Kharg who fights for the humans, and Darc for the Deimos.

Throughout this whole game you've got Kharg and Darc feuding with one another, and they're both wanting to commit genocide on the other... So you've got the whole thing with Marika and the Hornsent right there.

Droguza! He's an antagonist we meet on Darc's side! He's a peculiar Demios who's never been seen before by anyone, who's been hackling Darc and his gang on their quest. He says he's the last of his kind, hailing from a tribe of Deimos who'd been wiped out by humans... And yet he's working alongside the humans responsible.

The truth turns out a bit sadder. Droguza himself was a chimera created by humans, and given belief that he himself was a true Deimos, when all he is is a Frankenstein-esque monster created from the parts of many other Deimos -- the truth of which we learn just as we're passing through a specimen storehouse.

So we have Mohg and Radahn in a sense -- which again, we learn the truth of what Miquella intends for them both within the Specimen Storehouse...

Darkham, Darkham, Darkham, who's been our antagonist for both Kharg AND Darc, figurehead of the Dilzweld Empire, who's sort of responsible for the creation of Droguza. A man with an uncanny resemblance to Hitler in ambitions and looks, who is hellbent on wiping out all the Deimos from the earth and subjugating the humans.

But it turns out that his old home and everyone he knew and loved were wiped out by the Deimos; and when he sought aid from the other human nations, he was denied aid. So, again, you've got Marika and the Hornsent.

And then there's Kharg -- Kharg who's been antagonized by Darkham for a good chunk of the game. Kharg who fights for the humans and sees the Deimos as nothing more than a race of monsters who bring only misery on the humans -- and we learn through Darc's POV that the Deimos have their own woes and reasons against the humans. One of the party members lost his wife and son to humans at the start of the game for wandering too close to human territory for instance.

Kharg, who fights for a world of peace and compassion, and is determined to wipe out the Deimos to see such a world realized, who sympathizes with Darkham at the end despite all the misery Darkham himself brought on the world.

Because it was all ultimately the Deimos who led Darkham on the path he was on...

... Could Kindly Miquella have been Elden Ring's Kharg all along? Did Miquella learn about Marika’s past - or even Messmer's - and decide to sympathize with the two as Kharg did to Darkham?

... The moral of the story goes: An age of peace and compassion cannot be built upon the corpses of others.

fuck it, i'm leaving him. alleys are never good news. ever since you entered the place, your stomach has been in knots and the back of your head was tingling. it's almost as if... someone's been watching you.

typing on the small screen, you tell him you're going to meet him behind the stage instead. you speed walk towards the end of the tunnel, relieved you were leaving this place. you almost reach the exit until a rough hand pulls on your wrist.

a gruff voice speaks, "hey, you dropped this."

SHIT, I'M GOING TO DIE—

without thinking, you instinctively clench your fists into a ball and punch the unknown 'assailant' on the nose— effectively causing him to bleed. the stranger gasps out various curse words as you turn to scream and run away.

"I'M SORRYYyyyy—"

knuckles still bruised from the impact, you try to hide them as best as you can from the crowd's attention. Liam had managed to arrive on time, seconds before the performance. he claimed to have come across an old friend on the way who was difficult to shake off. but that was all in the past, and he has yet to notice your injured knuckles.

currently, you are performing on the stage in front of a sea of people. with your friend on the acoustic guitar, you both sang a duet that sang of two lovers, a confession of how one felt incomplete without the other.

it was a popular song, so Liam insisted on it. you were glad he did because in the end, the happy crowd's applause rang loud across your ears. a sound you'll always love.

now off the stage, you and Liam decide to explore the festival's offerings. the spring festival at night is beautiful— lanterns clipped across the starry sky and flowers and people littering the area. you approach one of the food stalls that lined the streets, purchasing a sundae of your favourite flavour.

as you are about to pay, you rummage through your pockets and realise... your wallet is gone. did i leave it at home?! Liam seems to pick up on your situation as he pulls out his own wallet, "i'll pay for them." you thank him and promise to pay him back. "it's alright, you don't have to." he smiles.

suddenly, a loud voice approaches the both of you, "Oi, Lili! ya did great up there, man." you turn to see a group of four people heading your way who were all dressed head-to-toe in punk clothing and carrying band equipment. they must be a band. a slim man holding wooden drumsticks pats Liam on the back, and he shortly notices you.

"oh? hello there, mx. the name's Vern." he grins and offers you a handshake, to which you politely return.

"y/n. nice to meet you, Vern. I'm a friend of Liam's."

"a friend of Liam is a friend of mine, y/n!" Vern heartily laughs, "let me introduce you to the gang, y/n— of course, you've met me, the drummer. that lady with red hair is Kyra, the lead guitarist. the young-looking fellow with shit for brains is Astrid, our second guitarist. and finally, our beloved lead singer and bassist, D—"

you don't have time to react before your face is roughly grabbed by a hand larger than your head, cheeks squished. you try to pry your face away from the thick fingers of the unknown man, as you shakily look up at his furrowed eyes. he's seething, and you don't know why.

"it's you. fucking bitch."

you don't know what you've done to this man to warrant such a reaction, you've never even met him before!... right? you think back to earlier in the day when you punched the stranger from the alley. shit, it's him.

though muffled by his palms, you still manage to voice out an apology. for the first time in your life, you feel a sensation rushing through your blood. dread and terror. in the corner of your eyes, you spot Liam being held back by a concerned Vern and Astrid.

you desperately try to pull his hand off your face while repeating apologies, but it's useless. he's too strong. the tall stranger continues to stare at you and you swear he was enjoying this. if not for the sick glint in his eyes or the soft panting from his pierced lips, then maybe for the light blush dusting his cheeks.

after what felt like hours, he finally lets go. you immediately massage your aching jaw and cheeks at his release. the stranger scoffs and hands you a familiar item... it's your wallet! "...found this in the alley. you throw a good punch." you gently take the small pouch off his hands and thank him.

a ghost of a smirk morphs on his face before he grunts and walks past you. the others instantly follow behind him like baby ducks trailing their mother, but not without giving you a sympathetic look. Vern checks up on you before joining his group, "woah, he's never spared anyone before. sorry about him, but i hope you'll still come to watch us?"

Liam, who is no longer held back, runs to your side and inspects your face. "are you alright?? fuck, I should teach him not to mess with you!" he angrily shouts. you're still recovering from shock. but that doesn't stop you from thinking how nice the stranger's smile looked. "do you want to go home? i'll drive you bac—"

with newfound motivation, you're able to speak again, "no, i'm fine. let's go watch the next show!"

you and Liam stand in front of the stage, somehow having managed to get past the current of people. there are way more people than before, and you notice some of them are holding signs. confused, you turn to the person next to you and ask her, "hey, what's with all the people? is a celebrity coming?"

she looks at you astounded, "you seriously don't know? Ares is performing next! they're like, all over social media right now." Ares? you don't think you've heard any singer with that name before. before you can ask who they are, waves of screams fill your ears as 4 pairs of feet walk on stage. you look back at Liam to see him clapping for the band, following his gaze, you accidentally lock eyes with a pair of heterochromatic eyes.

he acknowledges your presence with a lazy lift of his brow and faces the crowd again. this time, the audience shouts in union.

Ok let's get to the point 2bdamned is a sadistic, manipulator and also the type to experiment on people.

He is the type of yandere to isolate and drugged them if they were being a bad little grunt.

You met him by getting hired to be a medic for the main 3, since he had enough of them getting killed or injured.

But you being unaware of his obsession, makes this worse for yourself but better for himself. And you being shy is kinda cute to him, even if you lost a limb or something you still look cute to him.

If you were in a relationship with him... idk probably manipulate you alot...but anyway

your pretty shy right, Yeah no when you are around him, you get extremely shy/nervous because not only he looks intimidating but this dude tries to have a conversation with you, like out of thin nowhere...

He hardly talks to you so if he ends up speaking prepare your legs to get wobble like jelly because this man just pops out like jumpscare (joke: "I love a kind a women that would actually just kill me" "HUH!?")

But of course he's a yandere so he's going go isolate you in his lab or your room, but would never let you go to his room or outside of S.Q, except for missions.

He won't let you talk to your friends by making you work more in the lab or send you on dangerous missions just to make you stay with him longer, and you only thought he needed help when he doesn't actually need help... ok maybe but not really.

when you try to patch hank or the others, he would join In to "help" you while glaring at hank or the others, and hank seems to know 2bdamned obsessions over you but you don't know that..

Sometimes he would drug you for being bad or failing a mission by faking saying it's medicine for your pain or for your injuries.

Remember when I said he would experiment on people, I wasn't lying he would do it, especially on you but not too much, he would drug you and take you to his private lab for no one can watch him do it... it's only you and him...

But when you do find out 2bdamned gives up and shows is true side as he hreatens you by using drugs or some fuck up shit, but only if you try anything funny...

Sometimes would purposely remove your stitches and let you bleed out until your close to passing out or death...

2bdamned will manipulate your friends to turn against you, just to make you trust him instead of those your so called friends

So he treats you like a lover until you become aware and rebellious

But he won't lie he loves a kinda women/guy that Would actually just kill him

Oh boy this man is hard to tell if he's obsessed because his yandere is the same only he kinda clingy when things don't go his way

Deimos is good at hiding things(kinda) from everyone including from 2bdamned... but 2bdamned will finds out like a stalker he is.

When 2bdamned hired you, deimos was the first one to talk to you and when you stuttered or looked nervous, he immediately thought he met an angel as you get flustered and nervous.

Everytime you Two go on a mission he would make small flirts and compliments as you get flustered like a red tomato.

But deep down those compliments and flirts is a demonic pyro-maniac ready to burn your love ones to ashes...

This dude already knows your unaware and he thinks your shyness and you being really unaware about this, is really cute and innocent...

This guy omg is the one who will never leave you alone, but hey atleast he doesn't kill your friends...until they catch him In the act...

Deimos knows how to manipulate your friends, he's 2bdamned 2.0 but little stupid...

When your talking to your friends, deimos would glare at them, but wouldn't go further than that, unless you leave them...

Deimos, would try to brush off Sanford, since Sanford knows Deimos more than anyone and he is aware of the obsession going on...

You only assume that he was just protecting you since you were the support of the team...

Now Sanford isn't a stalker but he would stalk you when you go out somewhere he doesn't know...

If you have friends Sanford will watch and if they get too close to you, Sanford will join in while glaring at them when your not looking..

Now even Sanford can make mistakes like one time he tried to enter your room just to see you and you woke up

Now Sanford is like a of one those slashers killers like he kills your friends one by one in the most gruesome way and you won't even know it until Sanford said something really creepy

Now deimos will notice and try to tell Sanford what he's doing Is creepy and very uncool but Sanford will try to reassure him or brush it off...

Deimos will actually help you but Sanford will catch on and will try different methods for deimos won't be a problem...(he doesn't want to hurt deimos)

Now Sanford may be dumb but he's NOT stupid... this grunt has his own ways to punish and capture you...

If you try to escape prepare to have a broken leg for a damn week that will feel like a month... and punishments are the most freakiest thing ever... ok not that freeky but its fucked up....

Sometimes will bring one of your friends, alive and torture them infront of you as you either cry, beg, or try to stop him... but it doesn't matter because he won't listen...

Don't even try to manipulate him, it won't work....

All this wouldn't have happened,if you just stayed unaware forever....

When Sanford and deimos try to reason with hank, he of course doesn't care. But when you try to reason with him, he still didn't care but will show his full obsession over you as you cringed and felt disturbed...

Now we know how this ends, but if hank won he would had let you live but if you try to stop him futher, say bye bye to your legs honey...

But since Sanford and deimos won, you try to distance yourself away from hank but my man is going to make you suffer

Because now that you know, hank would ultimately make sure your his now and only his... your shy attitude is now a cowardly attitude....

Hank will choke you nearly to death as he gives you dead threats as he holds you against the wall...
