I have to say that she is at the same time my comrade in arms and my most terrible enemy. We've known each other since she was still mortal, more than 800 years ago... she knows many of my darkest secrets, which is normal after having maintained an emotional relationship for more than 300 years and having kept me reduced to a pile of bloody flesh hanging from her 'cave of pain' beneath the ruins of her family castle in the heart of her domain.

I finally drew my Toreador antitribu, Lorenzo “Loris” Altoviti, at the age he was embraced (approx 38). Still not 100 percent sold on this look, but it’s definitely close.

Lorenzo and Matteo love horror movies and horror games, and to make fun of each other for flinching or being startled

2. Which OC hates jumpscares ?

Anton. He loves horror but he thinks jumpscares are cheap tactics to cover up bad writing and lack of actual tension in a movie

3. Which OC would try to contact a ghost ?

7. Which OC is the most superstitious? What about? How do they keep safe?

Arzel :) If you say it to his face he's going to get a little angry bc he's embarrassed

He KNOWS that he's a vampires now, but he never managed to shed his human superstitions. He didn't ad any kindred superstitions to his inventory yet but he will

He's mostly paranoid about bad luck bringers (black cats are fine he won't hurt them but he'll still shudder) and accidental summoning of the supernatural (whistling at night brings the attention of the fae, mirrors by candlelight can be portals, that sort of things)

His method of keeping safe is to repeat to himself "I'm a vampire I'm the biggest threat in this room" internally then to get out of the room real quick/lock his door real fast

For Alluran and co :

8. Which OC has a lot of supernatural rumors spread about them? Are these rumors true?

Alluran and his siblings of course. And yeah, they're the grand children of a god, so they do have some uncommon supernatural stuff going on. People say that Alluran is the reincarnation of a legendary prince who is said to have managed to kill a god but Alluran himself is more interested in being left alone than in this kind of big adventures

9. Which oc *is* a ghost, a vampire, or a werewolf, etc.?

In very early worldbuilding I did have vampires and werewolves but it all changed so much through the years. I guess Alluran would SOMEWHAT still qualify for vampires since he has powers related to people’s blood, and Areyn and Elbrith could qualify as were-something since they’re animal shapeshifters, but that’s as close as it gets. “Necromancers” are all dead kids brought back to the world of the living so they’d count as revenants I guess, not exactly ghosts and not living-dead either but they still crossed the frontier between the worlds

12. Do they pull pranks on other holidays as well ?

I did steal Halloween for my world building bc it's just so good dkdknsks

For the last harvest of the year, at the time where spirits come back and forth between the world of the living and the world of the dead, people who grow foods are supposed to leave the first basket of their harvest out for one night as offering. Kids of course like to grab from these baskets and it evolved in a tradition. You're allowed to try to chase them off but then it's socially acceptable for them to get revenge in funny ways

It's not a thing in all countries but it's pretty big in Eremeth. It started in the Jivahn territories though they're mostly fishermen, and Taleen is really into this, she loves to find creative ways to steal from the offering baskets and get revenge if she's chased off

There's a costumes tradition in the north-west as well, in Alluran, Kielo and Nadane's countries, where you dress up to cover yourself completely and wear a mask that's built in a way that it changes your voice, and you can go around basically wherever you want. These countries have very strict social classes and gender roles, so it's the only time in the year where you can pretend to be whoever and whatever you want, you can go anywhere and people HAVE to be nice to you because for all they know you could be a noble, a spirit or a magic user. It's getting pretty popular in Eremeth though the original meaning is lost in translation

in VtM lore, if a mortal is fed just a taste of the blood of a vampire, they become something (often derisively) known as a “ghoul.” ghouls are effectively something.... between. still human, they can walk in the sun, eat, breath, and other mortal things. but partly vampiric, their aging stops and their healing accelerates, though nothing like what a true vampire experiences. they also acquire one low level ability from the blood of the one who made them a ghoul -- called the domitor. the domitor keeps the ghoul around to do, well, daylight tasks for them, mostly. a human servant or servitor to assist them in their long lives.

most ghouls are also bloodbound -- if a vampire’s blood is drunk, directly from the vein & fresh, three times within a year, the one drinking it becomes bound to the will of the vampire, now known as their regnant. the one bound, called a thrall, idolizes and loves their regnant to an obsessive, often unhealthy degree, finding it very difficult to work against their regnant’s desires. that doesn’t mean there can’t be resentment, and that doesn’t mean there can’t be situations where the obsessive need to protect and help the regnant wouldn’t work against the regnant somehow -- consider the bloodbound thrall who decides the easiest way to protect their regnant is to stake them (which only paralyzes them) and keep them in a basement or other isolated place where nothing and no one can get to them. but such things as that are rare; more often, the regnant has much better control and balance, managing their thrall carefully.

in Beatrice’s case, given the way that the Giovanni very carefully vet and groom their Embraces -- those chosen to receive the full Kiss and become vampires -- she was first “proxy kissed,” which is a Giovanni term for the ghoul-state. her domitor and regnant, Marisol, kept her bloodbound during the decade or so of her proxy-kiss, while teaching Beatrice carefully everything she’d need to know to become a full vampire.

once it was decided that Beatrice did indeed deserve it, she was given to another member of the Hecata Clan, Lorenzo “il Magnifico” di Giovanni, to receive the Embrace and for her training to be completed by him. this is a common tactic in the family -- Lorenzo and Marisol were tentatively aligned, though of different factions within the clan, and having Beatrice go from one to the other spreads her loyalties around and forms connections, similar to a marriage alliance in more mortal terms.

Terpikat dengan Aksi Jorginho

Ketertarikan Chelsea baru muncul lagi setelah Lukaku berhasil membawa Inter Milan juara Serie A musim lalu. Mereka sudah mencoba melakukan pendekatan, namun Nerazzurri kala itu masih sulit untuk digoda.

Pada akhirnya, uang sebesar 115 juta euro berhasil membuat Inter Milan tergiur. Proses transfer berlangsung lancar dan pada tanggal 12 Agustus, Chelsea mengumumkan Lukaku sebagai pemain barunya musim ini.

Momen Menyakitkan Buat Lukaku

Sebelum bergabung dengan Chelsea, Lukaku sempat beradu di satu lapangan dengan Jorginho ketika membela Belgia kontra Italia dalam ajang Euro 2020. Ia berada di pihak yang tertunduk lesu, karena Italia memenangkan permainan dengan skor 2-1.

"Saya juga bermain selama dua tahun melawan [Lorenzo] Insigne, yang bermain pada level terbaiknya. Mereka semua hebat. Secara taktik, kami kalah kelas [dari Italia] dan juga dari segi permainan. Dan itu menyakitkan," pungkasnya.

Vampire The Masquerade has been an undeniable influence for me. By the mid-90s, I was already dreaming of making  like those in the Vampire manuals. In the summer of 2014 Nosolorol and the Dark Library made the decision to embark on the Patronage Campaign for the 20th Anniversary Edition of “Vampire The Masquerade”. And I wanted to participate in it, I couldn't let it go! So I got in touch with them, to be able to collaborate as an illustrator, offering me to make four illustrations of which their reproductions could be raffled among the Patrons of the campaign. I was able to meet and interact with wonderful people like Sergio M. Vergara, Manuel J. Sueiro, and, above all, Dhaunae De Vir. They took the torch from La Factoría, and how they did it! The patrons, from the Facebook page of the event, were the ones who selected the themes for the illustrations, and who chose the ideas from among all the sketches that I presented for the final illustrations. The themes were: - Dracula. - The loss of Humanity. - The loss of Innocence. - Cain. The campaign and the experience were a success. I even attended together with @montxo_duran to attend the event in Madrid, where I could collaborate informally as a photographer (another of my passions). Knowing personally Dhaunae de Vir, Lorenzo Melchor, the great layout designer Marcos Manuel Peral Villaverde and the entire Nosolorol / La Biblioteca Oscura team was a luxury. I also got to meet Justin Achilli (a prolific WoD writer) to whom I gave a letter and a portfolio of work samples; and by the way, enjoy your DJ session. Thus, officially I was able to contribute four grains of sand in the World of Darkness that so many hours as Narrator and Player, has offered me over the years. A little bit of Lorenzo writing. Not proofread, so please bear with me. One day I’ll make a collection of everything I write on him since it’s easily transferable to something non-vtm related.

Father, oh father, what would you think if you could see me now?  Your bastard son in direct opposition to everything holy.  A creature of the night who drains sanguine liquid from the unsuspecting and revels in it.  A being who delights in the suffering of others.  

An Archbishop’s illegitimate son gleefully basking in the chaos he creates.  What now father?  Do you consider me an abject failure, a stain before you entered into the cold celibacy of the church?  Did you think of me while on your death bed?  A simple - perhaps I should request Lorenzo’s presence.

You convinced yourself of grandfather adopting a wayward child, a son of a whore out of the kindness of his heart. Took him under his wing as an Altoviti and provided him with only the best education before sending him off to apprentice under a master goldsmith.  Not a child from your loins, seed you released.

I hope God sends you dancing into the flames with me, forever tormented by your own transgressions.  I hope you see every sin I commit for however long I walk this Earth.

I will be a constant reminder of your shame for centuries while you languish in the ashes of hell.

So VTM is kinda like D&D right? How did you come up with each of your VTM dudes? Like their personalities and stuff? :)

it is a ttrpg yes! it's a lot more intrigued and politics based than DnD, w less combats (the combat mechanics are fucked and so unbalanced)

you have to survive as a vampire in a world where vampires are a secret, where there's an Inquisition trying to get you, and all other vampires might try to eat you alive, it's pretty fun, it's horror and it's camp, the dosage of both camp and horror depend on the storyteller

we started playing a victorian London campaign two years ago back when I didn't know anything about VTM, I was presented w the rough ideas of each clans and I took a few personality tests for the character I had in mind

he landed on Brujah in half of his tests and on Ventrue on the other half of his tests. To caricature the two clans, Brujahs are pretty keen on physical violence and freedom, Ventrue are pretty keen on politics and schemes, so that was fun

I picked Ventrue in the end bc it was more fun for me to play a nice and proper looking lad who could suddenly cave someone's skull in, than a tough looking guy doing politics as a hobby

and thus Arzel was born

the slutty part wasn't planned it just kind of happened in game

for Anton I just recycled an old OC I've had for years and never did anything with (you starky, might remember my half assed try at making a webcomic about witches and ghosts)

I picked clan Malkavian bc I thought they were interesting witht he whole web connecting all of them, then I promptly made it so that Anton was really shitty at connecting to that web of consciousness, just, a total loser with anxiety

for Lorenzo I created him right after I played the video game and found out about clan Giovanni which uh, I kind of went "my city now" and "what if they actually acted like european relatives" and "since they're homophobic and probably transphobic, what if I made a trans gay vampire"

for the rest he sprung fully formed in my brain like most of my OCs do
