H.O.T. Age of Peace Album
Saddly, I do not own this, but this shows that there were four additional tracks that aren't on YouTube on the Age of Peace Playlist and that if you owned the album, you got 3D glasses.
Plus, it shows five scenes from their movie.

does anyone else around my age remember a cartoon released on home media sometime between the late 90s and mid-2000s that was like. these human kids were making friends with these monster kids (vampire perhaps?) and went to their house for a sleepover. i think the kids slept in coffins. i think zoot suit riot or a song similar in sound played in it as the intro/outro music. i think it was either one long special or a few shorts. my brother is certain that it was 2d animated with a distinct visual style
i know what you’re thinking. “hey that sounds vaguely like scary godmother” i can assure you that it’s not.
it’s such a strong memory for both of us but we’ve been unable to find Anything in our searches and i feel like i’m going crazy. any tips appreciated

CALLING ALL THE GODZILLA NERDS AND LOST MEDIA ENTHUSIASTS
Tumblr media
I’m currently searching for the complete 92 minutes, 1957 French dub of Gojira/Godzilla, made by Bruno Guillaume and Michel Gast. It’s been a real big interest of mine for a while, I’ve been searching online for the full movie, but most I got was a couple of clips, a trailer and a lot of repeated information. This dub is actually a hybrid between the Japanese cut (Gojira) and the American cut (Godzilla, King of the Monsters!). If i ever find this version of the movie, I want to make a full, accurate english translation to make it more easily accessible to non-French speakers.
If you have any new information about this movie, clues on where I should search, or if you happen somehow to OWN this on VHS, please comment or even DM me. You’d make this baguette fiend very happy.

One Dress a Day Challenge
Monochrome July
The Impossible Mrs. Bellew / Gloria Swanson as Betty Bellew
Wow. When the 1920s decided to go over the top, they really went over the top. The large spangles covering the dress give her the appearance of rising out of a mountain of coins. Or possibly a sparkly peacock's tail.
Sadly, this film has been lost, so there's no telling what other amazing costumes Gloria Swanson might have worn in it!

London After Midnight (also marketed as The Hypnotist) is a lost 1927 American silent-era mystery-thriller pseudo-vampire film that collectors now consider the 'holy grail' of lost films—directed and co-produced by Tod Browning and starring Lon Chaney, with Marceline Day, Conrad Nagel, Henry B. Walthall and Polly Moran. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer distributed the film.
The last known copy was destroyed in the 1965 MGM vault fire, along with hundreds of other rare early films, making it for decades one of the most sought-after lost films of the silent era. In 2002, Turner Classic Movies aired a reconstructed version, produced by Rick Schmidlin, who used the original script and film stills to recreate the original plot.
In May 2022, there were attempts to find a copy of the film in Australia, which was at the end of the film distribution chain.

Expanding upon an earlier scene I recreated from 'Simulacrum' (1992), this one has added flying death creatures, who try to attack the female slaves at night. In the film, the creatures are more cloaked and concealed (not unlike 'Dementors,' but more bio-mechanical). I remember, as mouths, they had long feeding tubes which extended from their masks.
I like the style of this Dall-e image - it's very 'concept art' and makes the movie look far more epic than it was in reality (bearing in mind this was a low-budget art/horror flick from the early-90s)!

Drawing For Nothing is out!
Forgot to announce this here but the first ten chapters for Drawing For Nothing have been released! For those who missed the last post, this is a free, digital art book for animated films that were either canceled or bombed due to complicated issues.

More chapters are to come. A few highlights in the next installation will be My Peoples and Larrikins.
Also, if anyone wants to help research, feel free to send a DM! We're also working on a new cover that will feature custom artwork of various characters from these movies. If you think you got what it takes to draw in the style of another artist, we would appreciate the help!

Instead of telling men to repress their emotions to appear stronger we should encourage them to sing incredibly dramatic ballads to process their emotions like in fictional movies. Maybe the world would heal faster. And also it would be very funny.
