Loststar and her granddaughter (and only direct kin left) in ShadowClan.

Her granddaughter went through a couple names, starting as Mosquitopaw, then to Flypaw. Then I realized Flypaw wasn’t suited for a grey-brown cat and went to go back.

But, I didn’t see Mosquito- on the prefix list on Iterum. So maybe she’s Dustpaw now? That or I could keep Mosquitopaw and sneak under the radar. Or find some another bug/slimy thing like Slug- for her. Might go with Mosquitopaw for rn because I do like the name tbh

Which Mosquitopaw is almost as old as Loststar in terms of ocs. And in the idea game for Redux she would be the Greypaw of ShadowClan. Each Clan in my musing would have a “Greypaw” a “Ravenpaw” and a “Sandpaw”/“Dustpaw” for the protagonist. Which the idea was also with the protagonist and their choices they could help determine their friend’s names.

So certain choices would lead to a skill suffix (like choosing to practice with them frequently). Or not doing that, but still having a a certain amount of interaction with them would give them a personality suffix. Neither would just give them an appearance name.

Which I guess your friends outside the Clan would either be a randomized chance between the names OR this would be considered their “true” names.

Story: 

Lostkit was born during a particularly hard time in Shadowclan's history. 

He was the only surviving kit in his litter during a rough leafbare, and as he grew older, tensions between Shadowclan and Thunderclan only increased.

While his apprenticeship was relatively uneventful, when he became a warrior, war finally broke out between Thunderclan and Shadowclan. He would often find himself at the front of battle-- although during this most of his kills were indirect and unintentional. 

His first intentional kill was a Thunderclan warrior named Adderbite, who had broken into the nursery with the intention of striking the most fragile, important members of the Clan. After that, he took to guarding the nursery day and night-- even helping to fight off a badger that wandered into camp, which cost him his eye. Not long after that, he was chosen as the deputy when the previous deputy retired.

As a deputy, Lostheart worked to end the war, finally realizing that it wouldn't end until both leaders had died. He enlisted the help of the young, inexperienced Thunderclan deputy (who had only recently become a warrior because Sleekstar had wanted a young, inexperienced cat who couldn't oppose him), Marshheart, to set up a fight between Sleekstar and Bearstar. Luckily, everything went as planned and Bearstar killed Sleekstar-- dying not long after from his wounds.

As a leader, Loststar tried to lead Shadowclan into a peaceful era, even assisting Marshstar through his leadership and adopting an abandoned kit. But as he grew older, his PTSD and paranoia began making him more aggressive towards the other Clans.

Adding that to him developing dementia made him a shadow of his former self. He once again declared war on Thunderclan, believing them to be conspiring to destroy Shadowclan. He sent raids to their camp, even tried to steal kits. 

During battle, his reign came to an end when he managed to kill Marshstar, his own friend. Weakened from neglecting his own health and the battle, it was easy for Marshstar's son, Foxtail, to seek revenge by killing the elderly tom and sending him to the Dark Forest.

But unfortunately Loststar's influence affected Shadowclan's newest generation of warriors, including their new leader, Burnstar, and Sagepaw, the daughter of Foxtail and Whitestar, who would pay the price. Unfortunately, she lost her eye and ear in battle with Shadowclan.

Loststar blamed himself and took it upon himself to mentor the troubled she-cat in her dreams, teaching her how to adjust to her disability. Late in her apprenticeship, once he was sure she didn't need his help anymore, he would later tell her the truth about everything, resulting in her lashing out at him. He mourned the loss of someone he'd come to see as a granddaughter, but understood her anger.

this is loststar, an insanely edgy warriors oc i made when i was 13.  she is missing a claw, hence her warrior name “lostclaw”. i have the rp entry form still, if anyone wants to bite. it’s a riot

so like i subconciously did like a wc/akira/nge type situation with foxstar

in my oc world or whatever: silverpelt is considered the “creator” of the earth/space/life. they have no “vessel” and they appear as a vague cat-like shape made up of stars. they’re rarely seen unless some real shit is going down. they also created:

lasthope/star— “leader” of starclan. iffy moral compass, still seen as a savior/martyr and kind ruler. judge of the dead. sees peophecies and relays them to the messengers. reincarnates themselves into foxstar, giving him their immortal powers and driving him to sucide. after his death, laststar leaves foxstar’s body/vessel vacant without a soul to avoid him telling the horrors he witnessed and hides from everyone in shame. incident with foxstar leaves many questioning the powers starclan should have and if it’s fair some cats receive overwhelming powers.

losthope/star— “leader” of the dark forest. counterpart to laststar. they are the villain of nursery stories despite not being as evil. they were created to only watch over the dark forest, they weren’t sent there. tired all the time, mopey all the time bc it’s hard babysitting evil cats. helps along with silverpelt to return foxstar’s soul to his vessel and out laststar as unethical and cruel for the sake of mortal cats.

I decided to go through my old blog again to find some stuff to redraw and I found this old warrior cover I did for my old warriors story, Lost in Fog, and decided to redraw it since I plan to make a new warriors story soon and I still love these characters a lot!

I’ll give them proper reference sheets at some point, but until then I have some cartoony busts for them

Also thanks so much for drawing him omg what did I do to deserve all this free art of him 😭I literally created him two days ago as a joke and he’s getting popular so I have to create a backstory for him now 💀

The only thing I have so far is that he’s a thunderclan cat with black fur, a white nose, and amber eyes and that he’s a stupid jerk who is now the leader of a clan and is horrible at it. The cats who are suspicious of him are disappearing or dying but don’t worry about that ok he’s 100% a regular dude

The other option for “you receive:” was “you can live” but I feel like food would pique the interest of a starved cat.

Honestly though! That’s how some ocs start out as! Just little jokes and then sometimes it just spirals out of control. But that jokes makes them more special in my opinion. Cause they start as a one off thing and become so much more

Unfortunately Loststar cannot accept the offer because she’s learned her lesson about getting involved in the political support of other Clans (her Clanmates still haven’t forgiven her for trying to offer a solution to the Sunningrocks debacle).

But also would anyone be interested in seeing other Iterum ocs I have? I do got a couple in the noggin

So bit of a sketch dump. I didnt feel like finishing these ones lol.

On the left I drew one of my riverclan oc’s Bluescale. Someone had an AU on here, I think it was a mythical AU or something like that, where riverclan were mermaid cats. I think the Au was super creative and I’ve been dieing to draw one of my riverclan ocs with a fish tail <3

I have a sepret head cannon, that if they’re on land, only they’re tails turn into fish tails. When they’re underwater, then they become mermaid cats!

On the upper right we have the very sad Rosestar. Not sure why shes sad, she just is. I changed her design a bit, my old design just bugged me for some reason.

And lastly on the lower right we have Speckledust the Med cat in the comic about Loststar. I dont want to say to much about him cause I dont want to spoil anything. But I can say that him and Loststar dont get along very well.

Alright some ocs, not quite as old as Loststar, but still pretty dang old.

There was Lionstar (stream) and Lilystar (claw) of RiverClan and ThunderClan.

They’re the youngest leaders currently, and at one time they were friends. Close friends! Wel as close as two cats can get between borders.

And they would’ve continued to be friends, if neither of them had been made deputy and eventually leaders. Which I’m not sure what causes Lionstar to become leader so young, but Lilystar that’s another story.

Now that both have to focus on politics and their Clans first, their friendship almost immediately shatters. Now they’re just bitter rivals, and Gatherings can quickly become tense if Lionstar just says the wrong thing, or if Lilystar implies the wrong thing.

And Lionstar loves to get underneath Lilystar’s fur at this point so tense gatherings become an almost norm. Especially since Lionstar and RiverClan currently have the Sunningrocks thanks to Lilystar’s predecessor.

Which I want to confess something- I wanted to make an Iterum game. Or Redux at the time. And this would’ve been considered Act I, with these two butting heads and tensions rising. With the Player having a task to try and recruit other Clans (which would be a task) to support their Clan. Which they’d have to bring forth a good argument, but I don’t recall ever plotting down the possibility of it working.

Which is why Beetlestar and his political alliance got a little giggle out of me, because that was already something I had imagined Loststar going through… Which she agrees with ThunderClan, there’s a STREAM there and the rocks are on the other side of RiverClan and by the forest-! Use your brains for half a sec-!

But to keep some sort of peace she thinks that it should be a neutral ground. Which is what she suggested, but with these two she eventually figured out the best idea was to keep her mouth shut. Ugh, if only their predecessors were still around… Shame really
