根據 showbiz411 的報導，Tony Bennett 於今年 2023.7.21去世，享壽 96 歲 (接近 97 歲)，他的兒子也是經紀人的 Danny Bennett 告訴本文筆者 Roger Friedman，他的家人對世界的反應感到震驚。特別是《紐約時報》的頭版訃告以及今天報紙上的文章都讓他們大吃一驚：「這就像國家元首去世一樣。」

Tony Bennett 的家人們還不知道下一步該做什麼？Danny 表示：「Tony 不喜歡葬禮，未來也許會舉行紀念音樂會」在 Tony 去世之前，他們就已經計劃在三年後為 Tony 的百歲生日舉辦一場盛大的百年慶典。

Tony Bennett 為何受到公眾如此喜愛？他本人對所有人的話語也流露出滿滿愛意。他並不在乎自己是不是表演的首席主角，他是一位為觀眾服務的人，他也是一個超級巨星。

          ‘ is it really guilt - tripping if i actually thought you’d be down to do it? ’ was ren even capable of feeling guilt? a light snicker would emit his lips, only keeping that thought to himself. the downside of being down with sickness was not only being sick, but it was impossible for woobin to do any of the things he liked. he couldn't even look at his monitor or phone for long or his head would start pounding like hell, his so called lame board games were all he had. ‘ it was worth a shot. i just feel bad that you came all the way here and i still feel icky to do anything. ’
