OKAY MAYBE i have a few

-shes polyam asf. she has two hands and one of them is holding Emma’s hand and the other is holding all deaths hand.

-She is so oblivious to how much Emma protects her. Somebody could threaten her and she’ll walk away thinking nothing of it and once she hears theyve been injured she will have no idea that Emma did it 😭😭

-She screams silly bimbo to me. Just in a naive way. Trust me she is smart.

-you would have no idea shes smart tho. shes just too silly.

-She somehow knows all the Jeremy’s and what makes them special. and yes she does make little dog toys for them often.

Once again, it’s almost 4/13 and I have no idea what to do.

I’ve been thinking for a long time to draw every single homestuck character, and eventually every hiveswap character.

It’s a massive task for sure, and it would take very long, but the thought haunts me, truly. In a good way. I think.

Thoughts? Maybe I could make a separate blog for it, if I ever start?

I think. At the end of the day. Nobody really understands how intensely I feel about my FO. And that's okay. My closer friends know that my FO is a character I really like, but none of them really know how deep the rabbit hole goes. And I'm okay with that.

I keep telling myself that I need to talk to a therapist about my FO, but I'm not sure what that would accomplish. I've had 13 years with her to live and unravel what this whole thing means and I don't know what else a counselor would be able to tell me that I don't already know. My FO doesn't really present any hurdles in my life. She's an outlet for affection and romantic attraction. Some of the issues that come with that though is like. Wanting to be romantic with irl people I like but being super anxious about it and then just. Falling back on to her without really trying too hard? If that makes sense.

I guess at the end of the day I'm grounded in reality, I know she's fictional, and I'm okay with that.

I know I haven't posted here in awhile, but I am just now watching the anime adaptation of the MLA arc lol. Best believe I am still upset about Curious' color pallette and they killed her off so quickly. Like as someone who was there when her color was first released I was so upset the colors just do not match well with her character design, and if Hori wanted to abnormal colors, he could've done so much better. 😭 And how they killed her off so quickly?! This is definitely biased but cmon 😢 you kill off the only woman in the MLA? Boy...

I feel like there's a case to be made about how Airplane's trauma not only was projected into LBH (and a bit into MBJ) but bleeding to other characters, too.

No other character in PIDW has a healthy and/or present man presence in their life after everything is said and done. And yeah, his excuse is that PIDW is a power fantasy straight harem novel but I've (been forced to) read some novels with similar premises and the genre doesn't insist every man to get wiped out just for existing, so this is a choice made by Airplane (though if it's under duress of his fans not wanting male characters to muddy the porn, I don't know).

Sha Hualing's grandfather (Or was it her father?) gets killed and while I don't think she's close at all with him, she still loses her clan's territory to LBH and ends up powerless. Liu Mingyan loses her brother early on, never gets revenge, and loses her sect. Ning Yingying loses her teacher (yes he is not a good one, but he never raises a hand against her. Despite everything, I'd say that counts in her POV), her friends, and her sect. Qiu Haitang loses her family early on and her fiance is tortured to death. Xiao Gongzhi loses her father and the sect she's supposed to inherit.

Even after that, they all marry ("saved by") the same man that, while never hurt them directly (and some of them actually love), also definitely is not a good man nor a good husband.

I don't know. My brain isn't good enough to make an actual meta and this whole thing is just a realization I got while in the shower. But, as a neurodivergent author whose self identity bleeds all over her work almost every time I write, I feel like there's something in this.

Though if this is already a common understanding or someone has already said it or if I get something wrong (my memory is rancid), then I'm really sorry about that.

i am going to assume this was about jeser and so i will answer using him.

-He was taken in very early on. Very much to his demise. hes been a hater since day one.

-was originally a jester for the court. also to his demise but he had a little fun with it, but like the little freak he is, wanted more power.

-this is where his name comes from. he originally didnt really have a name but was given a name similar to ‘jester’ aka jeser. he hates his clown days tho. quite shamful for him. but doesnt mind the name.

-he gained the title “prince of many faces” later on. When he was higher in ranks. only gained the title prince bc the people under the kings rule knew he would be a heir. not by the kings will, but just that if the scarlet king were to perish like jeser planned, he would take over by force. The “of many faces” coming from his ability to shapeshift. but also in a metaphorical sense since he is a trickster and will manipulate.

-he would OFTEN use his ability to shapeshift to trick others or stir up stuff. he is the drama queen of the abyss. gets too bored if drama isnt happening.

-he doesn’t really like to meddle in human life, or with earth at all. Only bc he cant destroy it or do what he wants with it. He just messes with whats given to him. But he does know a bit about human culture through the scarlet king and molochs limited knowledge.

-him and moloch besties. 4lyfers. was devastated when he died. the only death he was ever devastated about. lets say worlds and people were NOT spared.

-never really got to know who killed him, but if he did trust he would be after them. SK never told him either cause he didnt want to lose another “ally” and also, just didnt care to tell.

-Bonus Alagadda thing: he has been to alagadda with the king, but does not really care about it. He also cant do anything with that world either due to the treaty of flesh and thorns, so it just isnt important to him.

basically if he cannot do what he wants with someone or something, he just does not care about it, unless it is someone who will get in his way of staying at the top, then trust he will weasel his way to put them down.
