Hey hello nerds. This is Sora Zanotto the other interns and I (are you happy Luca? You always correct my grammar, nerd-) wanted to make an ask blog for all the questions we get about the motherlobe and what it's like being students and interns here.

First off tho: rules!

No like, dirty or inappropriate questions (we're minors after all).

It's fine if you wanna ask about personal things like family, but just know that if someone doesn't wanna talk about it, they won't. Don't throw a hissy fit over it.

Solo così potranno apprezzarne il valore, la storia e la contemporaneità. Da lunedì 16 ottobre alle 20.30 prenderà il via al teatro Ristori la 113^ edizione della Stagione Concertistica della Società Amici della Musica. Titolo di questa edizione è "Avvicinare la musica colta ai giovani e avvicinare i giovani alla musica colta. Fare musica ai tempi del Covid e del post Covid", un incoraggiamento ad allargare il ventaglio di pubblico per questa forma espressiva, dopo il difficile periodo della pandemia caratterizzato da un importante cambio generazionale. Per questo motivo gli Amici della Musica hanno promosso un biglietto ridotto speciale a 5 euro per studenti, docenti universitari, conservatori di musica e scuole della Provincia di Verona che potranno così assistere ai 10 concerti in cartellone con artisti di grande levatura ma anche giovani emergenti. Il primo appuntamento è per lunedì 16 ottobre alle 20.30 con il Cuarteto Latinoamericano, che proporrà "Tribute to the Americas", per terminare mercoledì 8 aprile 2024. Governador destaca potencial turístico da Estação Inverno na abertura da Festa Nacional da Maçã em São Joaquim

O governador Jorginho Mello prestigiou, nesta quinta-feira, 7, a abertura da Festa Nacional da Maçã, em São Joaquim. Ele foi recepcionado pelo prefeito Giovani Nunes.

A festa está sendo realizada no Parque de Exposições Geraldo José Coral, e vai até 10 de setembro. A proposta é valorizar os produtores locais e impulsionar o turismo na capital nacional da maçã.

“Santa Catarina recebe seus visitantes com excelência durante o ano todo. E é isso que queremos apoiar como Estado quando criamos a Estação Inverno, programa que dá a mesma importância para essa temporada turística dos meses mais frios que damos com a Operação Veraneio no Litoral” , disse o governador Jorginho Mello, que completou: “São Joaquim está de parabéns tanto pelos resultados que vai entregar para o agronegócio catarinense, quanto pela atração de turistas de todo o país pra festa deste ano”.

Neste ano, estima-se que mais de 300 mil toneladas da fruta sejam colhidas na região, contando com a participação de mais de 2.070 produtores. A fruta é o carro-chefe da economia de São Joaquim.

Além de proporcionar momentos de diversão e cultura aos visitantes, a Festa Nacional da Maçã desempenha um papel importante no fomento ao agronegócio local. Durante o evento, produtos serranos serão valorizados como destaques da gastronomia regional.

Entre as opções gastronômicas que os visitantes podem desfrutar estão a maçã fuji, os vinhos finos de altitude, o queijo serrano, o mel de melato da bracatinga e a carne de frescal de São Joaquim.

Participaram com o governador no evento o secretário da Agricultura, Valdir Colatto, a secretária da Saúde, Carmen Zanotto, a secretária de Assistência Social, Maria Helena Zimmermann, a deputada federal Julia Zanatta e os deputados estaduais Marcius Machado e Lucas Neves.

Programação

A programação da Festa Nacional da Maçã conta com uma diversidade de atividades para todos os gostos. Serão três palcos com atrações culturais, como apresentações tradicionais gaúchas e invernadas.

Além disso, o Palco Gala receberá artistas locais e regionais, enquanto o Palco Fuji, uma arena fechada, abrigará os shows nacionais.

Ah, it's Halloween season. The season of spooks, candy, and slashers. Horror is a big part of Halloween season, so I decided to write something that's... actually just violence and gore. Because that's what most horror movies feel like to me. Anyways-

Canon Characters: Marona Aquato, Lili Zanotto Fan characters: Lucas Cruz, Hugo Flores

Warnings: Major Character Death, Description of Death and the subsequent Dead Body, Harm Against Minors

Marona stared down the barrel of the Sprouter at Lucas Cruz. But if she were to shoot...

The scythe that Hugo was holding was already pointed to reap the young girl's soul. Though... Marona wasn't too sure if the scythe could reap an alive soul, she didn't want to take chances.

"Now then Marona, we appear to be at a stand off." Lucas smirked.

She could tell he was calculating the best move. She had killed before, with no care to the ones who were lost. They were all devoted to the cause. And the cause would be the one that they would all push up flowers for, if that meant that another group could be free of these debts.

But this was different. Her grandson didn't know what he was doing and now everyone she and he loved were in danger. Lazarus had already lost his leg to these fuckers.

"Put the gun down, and we'll do the same for the girl." Lucas nodded back to Lili.

When she was a girl, Marona and her sister heard of Mara, Goddess of winter death and spring rebirth. She foolishly assumed that when the watery grave had hit her, she had been taken in by Mara. Like the Marzanna dolls she and Lucrecia used to throw into the winter melt water in the early spring.

How foolish she was. In death, people wanted the same as they had in life. For Marona, that was peace, which she could never find. For men like Lucas and Hugo, they wanted fortune which they got by stomping on the working class.

How had her death been such a mirror to her life?

She crouched down, placing the gun barely within arms reach to her. She stood back up, staring Lucas in the eyesockets.

"Now, let her go."

Lucas now had his confidence back. "Well, we were just going to put her down, but you heard her, Hugo."

The larger skeleton let go of Lili's pigtails, not moving the scythe. Gravity shoved the girl down its blade ripping her open up to her neck as her head lolled.

"NO!" Marona shouted, taking a step forward.

The corpse showed a clean cut, though Marona was sure that it was now bleeding out. The plants would have an even bigger feast than they were prepared for. The soul that Marona had once seen was now in its dead form, still in the body like a cocoon. Stunned and unsure how to process its new form now. A lack of guts and feeling empty but no hunger. A lack of lungs and feeling empty yet no needed breath. A lack of eyes and yet able to see. She had been ripped open early, instead of struggling until a reaper could appear and soothe the child. Explain what happened. Except Marona would not be able to sugarcoat it.

Lucas lunged down for the sprouter, only for Marona to kick his lower jaw, stunning him. She shoved him into a table with the other sprout seedlings.

"Hugo! Get the girl and get out! I'm right behind you!"

Hugo ripped the poor angel out from her body by the poor little wings she now had.

Marona grabbed up the sprouter and began to run after Hugo. At the very least, she could avenge the poor girl's death. As she did so, she saw Hugo getting into a hotwired vehicle... with a Demon at the wheel.

No. No no no no SHIT! If they were able to get demons... who knows what others from the spirit worlds they could bring. Trying to get back was out of the question. They needed that door closed.

Lucas Zanotto:  The Eyes Have It

Lucas Zanotto is a designer, animator and director. He also started the company YATATOY that focuses on childrens content. Born in the Alps of Northern Italy.  Lived and worked in Milan, Barcelona, Berlin and currently based in Helsinki.  He has won many awards for his work, among them the Apple Design Award, Golden Lion in Cannes, Gold at BDA Promax International, Main Price at ITFS, and others.

He is also part of the upcoming Design in Motion Festival that will be showing on all of the monitors at the Amsterdam Train Station on November 7th.
