Clearing trails
18+ you have been warned
@djtjsmith14 I ran with your idea.
Today was the day. You would finally tell her. Nothing would stand in your way. No hesitation, no fear. You would be bold and.
“Hi y/n.”
“H-hi Luisa.” Well so much for that. “You look really nice today. I mean you look nice everyday, I mean-“
“Thanks, you too.” Luisa said, using her hip to move a boulder had rolled onto one of the forest paths. It never ceased to amaze you how she could do that. “Did you need something?”
“No! No, I just wanted to spend time with you. Unless I’m bothering you, and then I can-“
“You’re fine. The company is nice.” She favored you with a warm smiled that put butterflies in your stomach.
“S-so, how are you?” You asked, leaning against a tree, trying to look alluring.
“I’m fine, it’s been interesting having Tio Bruno back among us. And the rats are definitely an adjustment.” You nodded. “Let’s see, what else? Things are going better with Isa and Mirabel, so that’s a relief. People around town as doing a bunch of their own heavy lifting which has me only doing the stuff they can’t. That’s weird, but not bad. I do worry that some of them are going to over do it. I don’t want people getting hurt.”
“You really are a good person, you know?” You said, walking a little closer. Luisa tried to wave off the compliments. “No really, you go so far out of your way for the good of everyone else, and take care of everyone’s problems. Somebody should be taking care of you.”
“I’m taken care of. I have my family all watching out for me.” She turned to look at you, a realization dawning on her face before her expression became unreadable.
“Oh I uh, I think I hear my mother calling me-“ you said turning to leave
“Unless you gained Dolores’s power, no you don’t.” Luisa grabbed your wrist carefully pulling you back around. Her other hand came to the small of your back guiding you in closer. You went pink, but didn’t try to pull away, enjoying how close she was.
“I take it my feelings aren’t unrequited?” You breathed.
“No.”
“I’ve never done this before.”
“I have.”
“Wait, really? Who? Nevermind you don’t have to-“
“Juanita.”
“You and Juanita the ice Queen?” You asked, quite taken aback by that revelation.
“Yeah, there were a few times she wasn’t completely fridgid, and there’s a reason we aren’t on speaking terms anymore.”
“I never knew. I must be oblivious to have missed that.”
“I’ve liked you for two years.”
“Oh, really oblivious then.” Luisa laughed and kissed your forehead.
“It’s alright, I didn’t have very much time to spend with you before, but now, I get to have you all to myself.” To illustrate her point, she picked you up, setting you carefully on a rock, her body between your legs. You gasped softly before reaching up and guiding her face to yours.
The kisses started slow and soft, increasing in aggression and need as time went on. One of your hands tangled in the soft curls while the other gripped the back of her shirt. Her hands were not nearly so still. They roamed across your body squeezing, pulling, pushing your skirts up your legs. You gasped and pulled away as they squeezed the tops of your thighs, her thumbs dangerously close to your core.
“Do you want me to stop?” Her voice was rough, her pupils lust blown. A red glow was across her cheeks, and her breathing was a little ragged.
“No. I just… I haven’t. How would this even work?” You panted.
“Do you trust me?”
“Yes.” The answer came without a single hesitation. She nodded, picking you back up and laying you down on the soft grass. Her hands found the waist of your underwear and pulled it down your legs. Once they were out of the way, she began to kiss your inner thighs, one hand holding you legs apart, the other reaching up to touch your breasts. Her breath occasionally went over your core causing your hips to twitch toward the sensation.
“Please.” You whined, needing more. Luisa didn’t require anymore prompting. She lifted your hips, her hands holding your thighs exactly where she wanted them as her tongue stroked along your clit in slow circles, occasionally dipping in, rubbing the spot just inside. You did try to hold still, your hands gripping the grass, but doing anything against Luisa’s grip was futile as she sped up, not wanting to leave you waiting too long. You tried to muffle your pleasured cries with a hand, found that you couldn’t hold that still long enough. You repeated her name over and over again with increasing desperation until the shock waves hit. She kept licking was you whimpered and thrashed, drawing it out as long as she could until.
“Ple-please stop.” You asked. She gently set your trembling body down, before wiping her mouth.
“You okay?” She asked, moving over the top of you, her hands to either side of your head.
“Y-yeah.” You panted. You sat up a little, kissing her softly. She groaned a little, pressing you back down, letting you take some of her bodywieght. You shifted slightly and she let you push her over.
You needed her help to remove her underwear, and she stopped you before you could get to far.
“Use your fingers, I don’t want your head getting hurt, it’s been a while, so my control might be weaker than it was.” She guided gently, pulling you in for another kiss. You hummed a little in response, putting both hands to work squeezing her breasts. She moaned, pressing into your hands, her kisses becoming messier with the increased pleasure. Your fingers dipped between her legs, a single digit caressing her clit. She gave a shuddering gasp, as you continued lightly brushing.
“Please. Harder.” She commanded, you gave an even lighter stroke before actually increasing the pressure. “Tea-ahh!” She gasped. Her face turned away from yours leaving her neck exposed to a onslaught of kisses and love bites as she fought to stay still.
“Y/n yes, right there. Right there. Ah.” Her muscles locked, holding her in place as her clit throbbed. “Stopstopstop!” She gasped, you did as you were told and she curled her legs into her body. “Yup it’s been a minute.” She said her limbs shaking.
“Did I do something wrong?” You asked, crawling forward to her head.
“No. No that’s was, that was good.” She panted. You’d never seen Luisa actually looking like she had exerted herself before. It was pretty cute though. “I need to clear trails with you more often.”

Head injury
You stood in the middle of the square, pretending to be just as useful as any member of the Madrigal clan. You helped an older member of the village fold her laundry, and kept the priest from taking a dunk in the fountain. Well, almost.
In grabbing the priest by the back of his shirt to keep him from going head long into the water, he had twisted, redirecting the momentum to throw you into the water by accident. There was a sharp pain in the top of your head that lead to an underwater gasp.
One of Isabella’s vines looped around your waist, pulling you from the water as you coughed and sputtered. Familiar arms pulled you from the vine, setting you on the side of the fountain.
“Dove, look at me.” Luisa’s voice sounded in front of you. You tried to open your eyes, but found your vision very foggy and distorted. You tried to speak, but the water in your lungs was making anything other than coughing near impossible. Another figure in blue rushed over, placing gentle hands on your face.
“Do you think you can eat?” You shook your head.
“What do we do?” A hint of fear invading Luisa tone.
“Keep her upright until the coughing settles down. Don’t let her go to sleep.” Julietta instructed. You weren’t sure how you could possibly sleep with the burning on the top of your head and your body’s attempts to remove a lung via your airway.
“I can work one handed.” Luisa said, picking you up so that your body was being held upright between her arm and her chest. You tried to argue that this was silly, but all that came out was a series of syllables and coughs that made no sense.
“Hey, don’t cough at her in that tone.” Camilo scolded playfully. You half laughed and then coughed some more. Luisa grumbled something about not making it worse and began gathering loose burros.
“They need better fences.” You rasped after a while. “This is like a *cough* daily thing.” You were placed gently on a rock. A hand wiped your forehead careful of the spot that had collided with the fountain.
“You okay?” Luisa asked, kissing your forehead softly.
“Peachy.” *wheeze* “Just peachy.”
“Let me finish this, and we’ll get you back to Mama. I won’t be happy until that spot on your head is mended.”
“Ah, so the coughing out a lung is f- *cough cough cough*”
“That’s what you get for being smart.” Luisa scolded, kick flipping a burro with extra gusto on to her shoulders. You stood and started to stagger after her.
“What are you doing?”
“Following all three of you, obviously. Not every day I get more than one of you.” You teased. She nearly dropped a burro.
“I. You. Stop it.” She managed, you were pretty sure she was blushing. “Stay there. I’ll be back.”
“Fine, leave me all by my lonesome.” You sighed dramatically and started coughing again. You could almost swear, through the visual fog that she was running. You wobbled back to the rock and sat. Damn this day had been tiring. You yawned, feeling a rush of exhaustion hit. A little nap wouldn’t hurt would it? Just as you started to doze you were shaken awake.
“Y/n! Wake up!” Luisa’s voice was frantic.
“I’m up I’m up.” You slurred. Why did everything feel heavy.
“I shouldn’t have left you. Damn it.”
“Why would you leave me. I’m adorable.” You joked. No response. “Amor, that’s the part where you tell me to shut up. Remember? We have this whole back and-“
“Mama!” Luisa yelled carrying you over, and setting you down on the table.
“I’m fine, really just tired.”
“Eat this dear.” Julietta instructed, placing an Arepa in your hand. Luisa took it and placed it to your lips when your arm didn’t move. You took a bite and started to come back to a come an alert state. A couple more and the pain in your lungs and head faded.
“Better?” Luisa asked, you nodded, kissing her hand.
“Much, thank you.”
“Awww.” Isabella and Mirabel were standing together watching the two of you.
“Thanks for fishing me out earlier.” You said to Isabella, she smiled.
“You’re welcome.” She curtsied and made a bunch of flowers bloom for emphasis.
“Show off.” Mirabel commented, lightly nudging her sister.
“I’m taking Y/n home.” Luisa announced. “She needs rest.” You were lifted into her arms again and packed back up the hill.
“Amor, are you upset with me?” You asked, reaching up to cup her face.
“With you? No.” The unspoken portion left hanging in the air.
“How were you supposed to know I was going to fall asleep the minute I wasn’t being watched. Clairvoyance isn’t your gift.” Tears started to slip down her cheeks. You shifted to loop you’re arms around her neck. “I’m okay. I promise.”
“How did that happen anyway? One minute you’re helping with laundry, the next Isabella is yelling for me and you’re crumpled in the fountain.”
“The priest was about to suffer the same fate, I slipped redirecting him.”
“You shoulda…” she trailed off.
“Yeah, maybe we don’t wish ill on the priest. Abuella is devout after all.”
“I just…” an exasperated sigh followed.
“I know, you hate it when I’m hurt, I’m not really a fan either.” That earned a little smile. “I wasn’t kidding about that three of you comment though.”
“Stop it, Dolores can hear us.” Luisa blushed.
“Pretty sure she’s heard your parents and hers doing the horizontal tango.”
“No.” Luisa gasped, trying to block the realization.
“The beast with two backs.”
“Quit.” Her face went even redder, sympathy in her eyes for her cousin.
“You could even say they-“
“Dove, I am begging you.”
“Alright, alright, I’ll stop.” You had reached Cassita’s threshold by this point, and Luisa made a bee-line for her room. She set you down on the bed before loosing her shoes and getting in with you. You were pulled on top on her, your head resting on her chest.
“Promise me you’ll let the next person fall in.”
“You know I can’t.” Heavy sigh. “That’s part of why you love me.”
“Ya’know, this you being right thing is a real pain sometimes.”
“Ah, but I’m your pain.”
“I love you.”

Sleeping with Luisa was a very comforting experience 99.9 Percent of the time. Luisa was the cuddle queen, and had a special appreciation for warm fluffy blankets. However, there was the .01 percent that could be a real beast. You woke up with severe pain radiating from your ribs and made some alarmed and pained noises that snapped Luisa back to consciousness.
“Huh? Wha? Oh! Oh My God What Did I Do?!?” Luisa was across the room, hair disheveled, and night gown off a shoulder as she stoop looking horrified in less time than it took Camilo to prank someone.
“Baby, darling, sweetheart, it’s fine, really.” You lied. Each breath really hurt, but let’s face it, talking Luisa down was sort of priority. You moved to sit up, wincing more. “I’ll go wake your mom, hell I can tell her I was out for a little stroll and tripped down the stairs.” Luisa’s lower lip started quivering and her eyes welled with tears.
“I’m so sorry!” She sobbed, her eyes frantic.
“Honey, angel, amor,” you soothed, walking over and hugging her, in-spite of the screaming ribs. “What happened?
“I-I had a n-nightmare. I didn’t know!” You did your best to rock her back and forth, trying desperately to ignore the ouch in your chest. “Tell me everything.” You started humming to try to bring her off the emotional ledge.
“Th-there were people chasing us, and I lost you in the people running, and I couldn’t find anyone, and my strength went away, and then there were spiders.”
“Oh love, of course you were hugging me tight, I’d be scared too.” You coaxed her to sit on the floor, making it easier to stroke her hair and dry her cheeks.
“I hurt you.” She whispered, almost ashamed.
“It wasn’t intentional, and nothing a snack courtesy of your mom won’t fix.” You promised, bringing her head to your chest. “I love you so much, my gentle Luisa.” A knock sounded at the door, followed by a tired looking Julietta and a concerned Dolores entering the room.
“Mama, I hurt her.” Luisa whimpered, as Julietta took over your place, Dolores handed you a quesadilla, which was eaten gratefully. The relief was instant as your ribs went back where they were supposed to go.
“Good as new.” You announced, kneeling before Luisa. “Light of my life, why don’t we go back to bed?” Pure apprehension flooded her face. “Odds are it won’t happen more than once in a night.” You pointed out.
“She’s right. Get some rest. You need a good nights sleep.” Julietta said, petting Luisa’s hair and kissing her daughter’s face.
“A-alright.” Luisa agreed, standing up and hugging her mother and cousin. You mouthed your thanks as they left the room, earning nods and smiled of acknowledgment. You held out your arms, making grabby hands.
“I could do with some snuggles, I’m starting to get cold.” Luisa gingerly picked you up, setting you on the bed with the utmost care, curling around you.
“I love you. I’m sorry.”
“I know. I love you too.

Luisa met you at the edge of the trees, a shawl wrapped around her torso. The sheer sparkly skirt caught the sun light. She blushed and took the hand you offered. You grinned, pulling her along to a meadow. You laid out the blanket and set down the basket. She sat down taking off the shawl. You let out a low whistle.
“Damn, bebita, why’d I bother brining food. You look like a whole meal right here.” You grinned. She blinked. Then her face went bright red.
“I, uh. Um.” She said. You dropped to the blanket opening the basket and pouring the cider you’d packed. She accepted the glass with a murmured thanks.
“Do you want me to stop? I know my teasing can be a little excessive.”
“No! It’s not that, I just. I’ve never worn anything like this before.”
“It suits you.” You commented, offering her a sandwich.
“It does?” She blushed harder, taking the food.
“Honey, I have never met anyone who belonged more in frills and sparkles.” You assured, taking your own sandwich. She smiled. You didn’t talk much as you ate, but she did complement your cooking, especially on the little tea cakes with decorative icing.
“Oh, you, you got a little.” She wiped at her own lip, and raised an eyebrow as a clever look came over your face.
“Why don’t you come over here and help me.” You asked, leaning back with a grin. She blushed, and nodded shyly, crawling over to you. You put a hand on the small of her back while the other cupped her face. She blushed softly, she leaned forward and ran her tongue over your lip. She pulled away a little, checking your surroundings. “We’re safe here, amor.” You assured, pulling her back in.
“I want you so much.” She practically whimpered, you pulled her face to yours, taking charge of the kiss. She allowed you to push her back on to the blanket, her hands bracing against the ground. “Please.” She asked, looking up at you. Her freckles were practically hidden with the red that had flooded her cheeks. Her hazel eyes, were heavy lidded, her lips parted slightly over her teeth, her attention wrapt on your face. You moved slowly over her, sliding a hand up her thigh. You kissed her mouth slowly, making her wait. Your lips touched her jaw, earning a pleased little shiver. You set your teeth in her neck, dragging slightly before latching onto her skin. She whimpered then her hand tangling in your hair.
“Soft.” You reminded gently as you felt the pressure on your scalp increased.
“S-sorry!” She stuttered as one of your hands squeezed her thigh. “J-just feels good-ah!” The other squeezed her breast. You hummed in response, beginning to kiss down her throat, and following the cut of the dress. She moaned softly, as your tongue traced the underside of her breast. You pressed the dress aside, breathing softly against her nipples. She squirmed, her legs rubbing your hips. You sliced your hand down, bunching her pretty skirt so it was out of the way. Your fingers found her dripping core, and her hips gave a very constrained jump as you found that delicate little numb.
“God you’re pretty.” You praised, taking a break from utilizing your mouth on her breasts. Sweat had started ed to appear across her for head and settling in the hollow of her throat. She had to fight to keep still, adding to what was already a strenuous activity. Your fingers moved faster, causing her head to fall back. Sweet little whimpers slipped through her lips. Her hands roamed your back and sides, the movement preventing her from clenching her fists.
“Please, I’m-ah!” You moved faster, her hips rocking carefully into your hand. She whimpered your name, clenching on fist into the blanket, the other going to her mouth. She but down on one of her fingers, but relented when you grabbed her wrist.
“I want to hear you.” You said calmly, your arm working vigorously. She obliged. Letting you keep her wrist pinned. She practically sobbed as she climaxed, her legs trembling, her breath coming in rough gasps.
“You okay mi Vida?” You asked, helping her cover up, her shawl in your hands in case she got cold.
“Mmhmm.” She managed, making the grabby hands motion at you. You lay down next to her, cuddling her close. “I should wear this more often.” She mumbled. You laughed.
“As if you weren’t already distracting.

Hi, I don't know if you take request yet. I love your writings of Luisa x reader and I couldn't help but think this!! Where Grandma Alma sees how Luisa slowly falls in love with the reader just like she did with her husband, somewhat like a narration but from Alma's perspective?
I love it!
Abuela Madrigal had taken to sitting in the square, gently guiding Mirabel on what it meant to lead Encanto. Occasionally she would go on walks with her through the street. Telling her the history behind each family so Mirabel would know them as intimately as Abuela had. There was very little that went unobserved. Including Luisa’s little crush.
Abuela had seen you grab a piece of masonry that had fallen as Luisa moved a flat of bricks. You walked along with her, lone brick in hand, striking up a conversation. You had been known to Luisa before, but it was as though she saw you with new eyes. She set down the flat at it’s destination, and you handed her the brick. She said something, presumably an expression of gratitude and put it down. You waved off her thanks and took off on your way. She touch the place where your hands had brushed, blushing softly.
Days passed, and it seems you found any excuse to be around Luisa. Abuela couldn’t help but remember how Pedro did the same. Those were back in the days when she was nothing but apprentice to a midwife. He would find any excuse. ‘Señora, let me carry that bucket.’ ‘Señora those rags look heavy.’ You were far les help than Pedro was, and she smiled every time she watched Luisa hip check you out of her way.
On day as she guided Mirabel through town, telling her about the Melendez’s, she watched Luisa come around the corner, a rose in her hair, and a bright blush on her face, followed by a very self satisfied looking you. She pressed Dolores about what happened later and found that you had stolen a kiss placing the rose in her hair. She held a calm expression, but was bursting with joy inside.
Eventually you were invited to meet the entire family to declare your intentions to wed. Luisa tried to hold still and not fidget, but she couldn’t stop smiling. You looked just as enamored as always. Abuela gave you her blessing and you asked Luisa for her hand. Tears slid down Luisa’s face as she nodded, her smiled radiant. She hugged you tight, and Abuela finally granted the table a warm smile.
“This marriage will be so good for Encanto.”

Protector
You had realized over the course of your relationship with Luisa that she had a terrible time saying no. ‘Luisa move the church’ ‘okay’. ‘Luisa re route the river’ ‘okay’. ‘Luisa I want my house more to the left.’ ‘Okay.’
“Why not tell them it’s a stupid task?” You had asked one afternoon as she took a brief break to eat the lunch you’d brought her.
“They mean well, and it’s not really hurting anything.” She argued.
“It’s misusing your gift for trivial nonsense!” She kissed your cheek.
“I appreciate that you’re trying to look out for me, but it’s okay, really.” You huffed but made a promise to yourself that you would accompany her as much as possible for the next little while. The next day you walked with her as the priest approached.
“Luisa, I was thinking, could you move the church just a little more to the right, the morning light isn’t…” he faltered under the force of your glare. “Isn’t hitting the door any… on second thought. It’s fine.” He backed away slowly, putting his hands up.
“Amor. Did you just non verbally threaten the priest?” Luisa asked, doing a very poor job of hiding the amusement in her voice.
“Is it a threat if no words are said?” You asked lightly.
“Yeah, yeah it is.”
As the days went by, you heard rumblings that you had been given the moniker of ‘guard dog’. Luisa had been a little unhappy about it until you started barking at random times to make her laugh.
“Could you hand me that vase?” She held out a hand for it.
“Woof!” You agreed, giving her the vase. She rolled her eyes trying not to laugh.
Your system encountered a serious test about a month in. One of the villagers had been getting increasingly annoyed that Luisa wouldn’t carry his house to the top of a hill opposite Casita. Typically, you had been able to stare him down, and even Luisa had outright told him that it was excessive, but neither were working today.
“Why not? What are you, useless?” He demanded.
“How dare you speak to her like thaaaa!” You lunged at him, but Luisa grabbed your waist and pinned you against her hip, your feet off the ground.
“You should put a leash on that perro callejero!” He snapped.
“Oh no. My grip. It’s slipping.” Luisa said. She put you on your feet gently. You didn’t need any more prompting. You pounced on him, wrestling him to the ground. You might have been smaller, but you were a hell of a lot meaner.
***************ten minutes later***********
You walked with Luisa, the villager thrown over her shoulder, to the square where her mother set up her station. She was there by herself and looked rather alarmed when you got close. The villager, who’s face as a bit of a mess, was flopped into a chair.
“What happened?” She asked, examining your face.
“He called Luisa useless.” You said. She looked over at her daughter in surprise.
“He said y/n was a street dog.” She added in her defense. Julieta handed you and arepa con queso before going to examine the villager.
“I don’t think he’ll make either of those mistakes again. You two go find somewhere else to be, I’m going to find your Tia and Abuela and we’re going to have a little chat with him when he wakes up.” You swallowed your bite quickly.
“Yes ma’am!” You agreed. Luisa grabbed your hand and you hurried off in the opposite direction. “He bled on your dress.” You commented.
“Can’t say I’m surprised.” Luisa sighed.
“Woof!” You said.

hiii i love your luisa x readers <33 they literally increased my hyperfixation on encanto so i'd like to make a request of my own, where luisa is just pining for the reader working up the courage to confess w/ the help of her family hyping her up? feel free to add any details about the reader i love your work <33
This is adorable!
Luisa sighed, watching you walk across the square, your basket over an arm. As far as she was concerned, you were perfect. Kind eyes, sweet smile, luminous eyes.
“You’re staring again, sweetheart.” Julietta said, glancing at her middle child over her work.
“What, no! No I’m not, I just, uh.” Luisa sighed again, looking over at her mother. “You know.” She made a vague hand gesture.
“Go talk to her. I have it on good authority, she doesn’t bite.” Dolores chimed in as she walked past.
“Unless you want her too.” Camilo added, taking your form. “Oh Luisa!” He cooed in your voice.
“Stop it!” She said trying to block your view of his behavior.
“Camilo, be nice.” Julietta chided mildly.
“Yes Tia.” He turned back and Luisa moved to try to spot you again. You were nowhere to be seen. She gave another little sigh and wandered off to find something to do.
The next day, you were attending to your laundry at the river, Luisa stood off to the side pretending to work on a bridge. A bouquet of red roses appeared in front of her nose.
“Go talk to her.” Isabela encouraged.
“She’s busy.” She argued, waving the flowers away.
“What are you afraid of?”
“I can hear you.” You said, glancing up from your washing. Luisa lost all color in her face before becoming very red.
“I think I hear Abuela.” She power walked away fast, Isabela on her heels making quiet chicken noises.
That night, she dreamt that you were laying next to her on the grass, your head on her shoulder. You smiled fondly leaning forward to kiss her. At that moment, a clap of thunder from Peppa and Felix’s room snapped her awake.
“I can’t imagine her not liking you.” Julietta said, helping Luisa do her hair perfectly that morning, as Isa and Mirabel helped with her makeup.
“I’m just glad you’re going to talk to her.” Mirabel said, applying a small amount of eyeshadow.
“You look perfect.” Isa took a couple steps back to really get a look at Luisa. “You’re bound to win her over looking like this.” Luisa blushed and murmured her thanks.
She found you gathering berries in the woods thanks to Antonio’s assistance.
“Y/n, uh, hi.” She said.
“Luisa. Is there something I can help you with?”
“Yes, I mean, no. Uh maybe?” She winced at how poorly she felt she was doing. You smiled, resting your basket on your hip.
“I’m all ears.” Luisa sighed.
“I’ve, well, noticed you.” She said. “And uh, I was wondering if you had ever, you know.” You raised an eyebrow.
“If I had ever what?”
“N-noticed me.” You smiled, setting your basket down.
“Of course I noticed you. You’re sort of hard to miss.”
“Not like that.” She looked frustrated.
“You mean, in a less than platonic way?” She nodded. Rubbing the back of her neck. “Yes, I have.”
“I understand l, I’ll just-“ she moved to leave before blinking and turning back to face you. “You have?”
“Yes.”
“Oh.”
“Why don’t you help me gather these berries, and we’ll discuss this.”

Run to me
@proudbinerd per your suggestion.
Being affianced to Luisa had all sorts of wonderful benefits, for example every time she talked about you, the words, ‘my fiancé’ cropped up at least once per conversation. She delighted in showing anyone who would look her ring. You smiled proudly, watching her little celebrations with each villager she encountered.
That, unfortunately was how your mother found out. She was standing within earshot when the those wonderful words dripped from Luisa’s lips.
“Who’s your fiancé?” Your mother asked.
“Y/n!” Luisa chirped, spinning to face the speaker, realizing too late who had asked. Your mother made a bee-line for you, grabbing your arm, and started to pull you away. Luisa moved to intervene, but you waved her off. You mouthed ‘trust me’ as you walked down a side street behind your mother.
You spent the next hour getting abraded nine ways of Sunday. Everything was up for criticism. Your face, your hair, your eye shape, you taste in clothing, you ability to cook, and your worth as an individual were all attacked. You stood quietly as you had so many time before until.
“And then you choose that Madrigal woman. That hulking, stupi-“ SLAP!
“How dare you talk about Luisa that way?” You hissed. “I’m going to leave now. I don’t want to see you again unless you’re apologizing for speaking about her that way.” You turned on your heel and stalked off. Started back toward the square, but changed your mind part way. You needed time to think, to breathe. You didn’t care you went, you just needed to go.
About a half hour later, you tripped over a root, interrupting your destination-less escape. You curled up at the base of the tree, your breath coming in rapid desperate gasps. Surely you hadn’t exerted yourself that hard coming out here. In your minds eye you could see the shocked and angered face of your mother. You’d never crossed her like that before. What was going to happen? Why hadn’t you let Luisa intervene? You jumped at the sound of wing beats over head.
“Just a toucan.” You murmured to yourself, rubbing your arms. It was the middle of the day, why were you cold? It perched for a moment honking at you. You raised an eyebrow at it before waving it away. It honked again and flew off.
What if she objected during the wedding? There would be nothing you could do. What if she organized the town against you, or worse, against Luisa? You couldn’t risk her loosing her home over you. You sat catastrophizing, not hearing the approach of footsteps.
“Miguel says she’s this way.” A familiar young voice said. Your head snapped up and you saw Antonio, the Jaguar, the toucan and Luisa.
“Thank you, Miguel, Antonio. You should go home now, I’ll take it from here.” Luisa said, fluffing Antonio’s hair and stroking the top of Miguel’s head. Antonio looked over at you and nodded, asking the Jaguar to take him home.
“Hey.” Luisa said, “Dolores found me and told me everything when she realized you hadn’t come back.” You groaned and rubbed your face. “Why’d you wait?”
“What?”
“Dolores summarize all the awful things she said about you, but she said you only retaliated when she said something about me, or tried to anyway.” She grinned slightly. “Never thought you’d be defending my honor.” She playfully bumped you with her shoulder. She took a look at your face and backed off with the jokes.
“Are we going to be okay?” You asked, your voices sounding terribly fragile in your own ears.
“Tio Bruno already answered that one.” Luisa said, pulling you into her lap. “We’re going to be better than fine, even if I have to ask Antonio the put caymans on guard to keep your mother away.” Your head dropped to her shoulder.
“Take me home?” You requested.
“Of course.” She said, picking you up. “Promise me something, though. Next time you feel like you need to run. Run to me. I don’t like wondering what happened to you.”
“I promise.”

Never letting go
18+
@proudbinerd how about both?
With your proposal to Luisa came the invitation/encouragement to move into her room. You had been a little hesitant at first, citing that it was indecent for a couple to share a room while unwed. The reminder that you couldn’t have a child in or out of wedlock cleared that up though.
Luisa was in no rush to do anything explicit, resulting in the first week or so being spent on cuddles and generally making you comfortable. Typically she would leave you alone in the room to dress.
“Should I?” You gestured toward the door, as she started to disrobe.
“No, you’re fine.” She glancing over at you. “Just get under the covers.” You nodded and did as you were told, your back to her. Soon you heard her walk over, and felt the weight of her body on the mattress. She curled up around you, humming slightly. You interlocked fingers, smiling as she kissed the back of your neck.
You walked in one evening and began to undress without saying anything to her.
“How was your- oh?” She turned to face you. Your back was till to her, but you definitely didn’t have a skirt on anymore. “Amor, do you need me to leave?”
“No.” You said softly, you grabbed the back of your chemise and took it off over your head. You removed your undergarments and stood stalk still.
“Turn around.” It was more of a whispered request than a command. You took a deep breath and turned, arms still at your sides. The look of awe in her eyes resulted in an even deeper blush from you.
“May I touch you?” She asked softly, scarcely more than a whisper. You didn’t say anything, but you did hold a hand out. She stepped forward, taking it, and kissing your knuckles. She didn’t break eye contact as she rotated your hand to expose the inside of her wrist. Her hand caressed your hip as she pulled you in.
“You can tell me to stop.” She promised.
“I know.” You whispered. She leaned forward, catching your mouth in a gentle kiss. Her fingers traced curling patterns around your skin.she leaned down, paying attention to your neck with little kisses and nibbles. You whimpered, her fingers trailing to your upper thighs.
“When did you decide to do this?” She murmured
“This morning, w-why?” You shivered as one of her fingers slid between your legs.
“You’re soaked.”
“S-sorry.” You said. She gripped you a little tighter.
“It’s flattering to know you got this worked up for me.” She lifted you on to the bed, removing her hands only long enough to undress herself. She was about to go straight back in when you placed a hand on her chest.
“Can I look at you for a moment?” You requested. She nodded and stepped back a little.
She was perfect. Her body was the kind of form poets write about, her skin golden over her musculature. Her hair had come loose, spiraling curls dancing about her neck and shoulders. Her wide eyes were lust blown, drinking you in eagerly. Her breasts were large, tipped with errect nipples and that same gorgeous golden color, though perhaps a bit paler. Her curves sloped gracefully to a narrower waist, and widening again at her hips. At the apex of her thighs were perfect dark curls. You met her gaze, and held out your hand again. She took it, bringing her lips to your neck, moving down to your collar bones. One of her fingers slid between your legs the same moment that her mouth reach one of your nipples. You gasped sharply. Arching you back into her.
“Patience, Dove.” She murmured. You could feel her breasts against you and slipped a hand between your bodies to touch her. The humming noise she made sent vibrations through your breast, causing you to tense. The single finger found its way inside as her thumb rested against your clit. You rocked slightly trying to get her to move.
“Use your words.” She said so gently.
“Please, touch me more.” Her fingers began to move, stroking you slowly. “Luisa.” She switched breasts, giving them equal attention.
“You’re perfect.” She whispered, before kissing down your belly. She reached the place where her fingers had been touching you, and moved her thumb out of the way. You jolted up as her tongue began to trace your overheated flesh. She pressed you back down firmly, licking harder.
“You taste so good.” She praised. You cried out as she switched from licking to sucking, she wasn’t being rough, but your were struggling to hold still. The wave of orgasm hit, setting you trying to sit up again. Eventually she let up, letting you catch you breath.
“I love you.” She said softly, her eyes kind. She lay next to you on the bed, her hand on your belly.
“I love you too.”
“Good, I don’t plan to let you go.” She promised.

There were very few pet names that Luisa did not accept. Hell, cabbage, if said affectionately enough, had been met with enthusiastic snuggles. She was half asleep though. There was however one, that would result in her chasing you down and tickling you into submission, or other activities-ing you to submission.
“Lulu!” You called from where you were standing by the front door. The sound of something heavy colliding with the floor echoed through the house.
“Don’t you always lose?” You jumped and spun to see Camilo standing between you and the outside.
“Yes. It’s part of the fun.”
“I could help you loose faster.” He offered.
“The other part is the chase.” You answered. Where was she, it wasn’t like her to take this long to respond? Camilo stepped aside.
“You might want to start running.” He said, staring at the top of the wall. You took off at a full sprint.
“Why’d you tell her?” Luisa demanded from behind you.
“I thought The chase was fun.” He protested.
“You… never mind.” You could hear her chasing you and made straight for the tree line. Or tried to. Luisa was a lot faster than you. Your feet lost contact with the ground abruptly and she slid to a stop.
“Why? Just why?” She held you directly overhead. A look of annoyance on her lovely face.
“Cause it’s fun.” You said, going limp like a rag doll in her hands. “Lulu.”
“I could drop you.”
“You won’t.”
A heavy sigh was followed by her setting you down, and wrapping her arms around you. She propped her chin on the top of your head, some of the tension releasing from her shoulders.
“You were getting into your own head a bunch today. I thought maybe you could do with some recreational away from the house time.”
“Looking out for me by being a pest?”
“Of course, how else would I get you to pay attention? You get so wrapped up in helping that you forget you. And you, happen to be pretty dang importan-mmhmm!” The kiss had surprised you, but not for any significant span of time. When you pulled apart for air, she was smiling.
“You keep this up, you’re going to have to invent a new name, I’m starting to not hate ‘lu’- nope never mind, I still hate it.” She shook her head, the curls at her forehead bouncing for the motion.
“Hey, Lulu!” Came from the house. It was your voice, but you were standing right there. Luisa groaned and rubbed her face.
“Look what you did.” She accused.
“Uh oops.” You offered. She turned to go back to the house.
“RUN CAMILO,RUN!”
“Who’s side are you on!”

Let Me Show You Everything.
Y/n had lived out her life in Encanto, but she had been kept well away from the rest of the people. Her mother went out regularly, but demanded she stay away from those accursed Madrigals. From her window, on some occasions, she could see the Madrigals helping people. There was one in particular, her name unknown to Y/n , she had lifted a bridge, carrying it safely to the river bank dropping it as though it weighed little more than a book.
Y/n often wondered about her. From a distance, it appeared that she was beautiful, with dark curls and large luminous eyes.
When the house on the hill crumbled, y/n heard the commotion, but her windows showed no view. Her mother, however, was in a very smug mood.
“Those cursed Madrigals are finally cured.” She announced over dinner. “Their unholy gifts have been revoked.” Y/n said nothing, nodding dutifully.
“Now that their gifts are no longer a distraction, we can arrange your marriage to Mariano.” Y/n nodded again.
Y/n’s mothers, as the days passed grew less and less smug. She said nothing, but Y/n heard the rumors under her window when she was able to open it a crack. The village had pulled together to repair Cassa Madrigal. Alma Madrigal was just as influential as she had ever been. Y/n couldn’t help but feel a bit of thrill at that news. Perhaps the strong one was safe too.
Y/n sat quietly in her room as her mother appeared to be having a massive fight with the furniture downstairs. The next day, things were far too calm.
“Y/n dress and come down here” her mother commanded.
Y/n complied wordlessly, she was surprised to find her mother standing at the door waiting.
“Come, we go to make a match.” Y/n nodded again. She blinked as they stepped out into the morning light. Y/n had been out in the sun so rarely that it was difficult to not stop and enjoy the warmth. She hurried along behind her mother trying to keep pace on the way up the hill.
Her mother knocked roughly on the door and stamped her foot impatiently to be let in. Y/n took the pause as a chance to look over the Cassita. It was a massive and welcoming structure, brightly colored, with the scent of delicious food wafting out.
The door opened of its own accord, revealing the entire Madrigal family. Y/n took a quick step back out of surprise.
“Senora L/n, to what do we owe the pleasure, it is not often that you have called upon us.” Alma Madrigal greeted, with a hint of coolness in her tone. From behind her, a small boy of about five waved at Y/n. She offered a small wave in return. Which prompted a bunch of small waves from the other family members who had not seen their youngest member wave first.
“Alma!” Your mother greeted, a fake sweetness in her voice. Y/n gritted her teeth. “We have much to discuss, and with your son too.” Y/n blinked. So, no Mariano. Interesting. A disheveled older man with circles under his eyes gave a very confused look to them both.
“Very well, join us in the dining room, won’t you?” Senora Madrigal agreed, waving the rest of the family off.
As soon as everyone was seated, Y/n’s mother started in. “We have come to ask of you and your son-“
“You want her fortune read, got it, come on kid.” The man blurted out, grabbing Y/n’s wrist and dragging her off.
“Senoir, I don’t think that is what my mother meant.” Y/n said as she was dragged up the stairs.
“Trust me kid, I know. But you’re around Luisa’s age. Too young for me if we’re being totally honest. Not that you’re ugly of anything, and I’m not really opposed to marriage as an institution, but “ rapid intake of breath before the next flight of stairs. “You were born when I was an honest to goodness adult. That’s not right.”
Y/n blinked. That was not the expected response. “Thank you for your candor Senior-“
“Please, just call me Bruno.” Bruno said leading her into his room which was.
“Oh my…” the room was a massive messa.
“So, here’s my idea. We see your future, we tell my Mama she sends yours packing, we don’t get married. Sound good?” Y/n nodded before looking concerned.
“What if it’s bad?” Bruno blinked, before taking a deep breath.
“Sometimes the bad things lead to good things later, it just takes time.” Y/n nodded again.
“Please show me my fate, Bruno.”
The circle of sand was created and he indicated for her to sit down. He sat up straight and began to focus before stopping.
“Give me your hands, that way you don’t have to take my word for what I see.” Y/n offered her hands and he took them carefully. “You’re really pale. Anyway.”
The sand began to spin around them, creating a bubble.
“Hey, it’s Cassita! That’s interesting. It looks like you live here.” Bruno commented, y/n could see herself in the sands doing odd tasks with the rest of the family. Suddenly the strong woman swept her up, placing her forehead against y/n’s and kissing her deeply. The vision ended there.
“Speaking of Luisa!” Bruno said cheerfully, offering over the green glass sheet of them, still locked in that embrace. “Okay, now you’re really pale.”
“My mother won’t allow-”
“We don’t tell her then. We say I saw you were living here and then tell Mama the truth later.”
“We can do that?”
“Yes, you look like you need some sun and actual food anyway.” He stood offering her his hands again, “Welcome to the family… what was your name?”
“Y-y/n.” She stood taking the offered hands. He carefully tucked the glass under his poncho before hustling back down the stairs.
“She won’t marry me, but she will live with us!” Bruno announced before anyone could say anything.
“Then who will she marry?” Her mother demanded.
“Dunno, but she lives here now. That’s what the vision said.” Alma gave her son the side eye, but nodded after looking at them both for a long moment.
“Since she will become a Madrigal either way, is there anything you require from us?”
Her mother looked stunned. “You would just take her?”
“Of course.”
“I-EEEEEEEEEEEEE!” One of the rats appeared on Bruno’s shoulder sending her mother sprinting from Cassita.
“Bruno, will you explain what is going on?” Wordlessly he handed over the glass. The silence was deafening.
Then, like a sunrise after a storm, the Madrigal Matriarch began to smile. “It is unusual, but I will not stand in the way of my granddaughter’s happiness. What is your name, dear one?”
“Y/n.” She offered softly.
“I think you and Luisa should become acquainted.” She stood from the table, and handed the glass y/n. “Guard your destiny and Luisa’s heart well.” She instructed as she walked from the room.
They stepped into the courtyard, only to find the girl with very tall hair whispered frantically to the strong one, they jumped apart quickly. Luisa was blushing furiously, and went even redder when she looked at Y/n.
“Dolores. What are you doing?” Senora Madrigal asked.
“Just, uh, passing something along?” She received only an eyebrow raise in response before she scurried to her room.
Luisa took a step forward. “Uh hi.” She offered a smaller wave than before and dropped her hands behind her back, rocking on the balls of her feet. “So Tio Bruno saw, uh, us?” She pointed between y/n and herself and rubbed the back of her neck.
“Yes. Do you want to see?” Y/n asked taking a step forward as well. She offered the glass.
“Uh nah, I believe you. Well, uh, you wanna go for a walk or, uh, something?” She gestured towards the door and then thought for a moment and looked horrified. “W-with me, I mean. I’m not telling you to go for a walk by yourself. You look like you could use some outside time. I mean.”
“That’s what I said!” Bruno chimed in, only to get a sharp look from Senora Madrigal.
“I would like that.” Y/n said, holding a hand out to the beautiful woman across from her. “I’ve never had the opportunity to see much of the town beyond my window view.” Luisa blinked, looking down at her hand and then up at her face. The light of understanding blazed to life in her eyes, and she gently took the much smaller hand into her own.
“Let me show you everything!” Luisa said earnestly before leading y/n out to see all that she’d missed.

The Dance
@bwall-7204 the wedding suggestion
You stood for a moment, preparing yourself for what ever was going to happen as you knocked on Tia Peppa and Tio Felix’s door. You gathered your courage rapped sharply twice.
“Come in!” Tia Peppa called.
“I’m sorry to disturb you, but I need your help.” Tio Felix and Tia Peppa fixed their attention on you, from where they sat on the bed. “Please teach me to lead.” You requested. The cloud above Tia Peppa’s head malfunctioned and Tio Felix looked horribly confused. “For the purposes of dancing.” You clarified quickly.
“Oh!” They said simultaneously, sharing a look for relief.
“You’ve come to the right Madrigals then.” Felix said.
“Right, for the other, you should probably talk to Abuela.” Peppa agreed.
“How much do you know?” Felix said getting to his feet.
“Uhh, nothing.” You said.
“You want to learn by the wedding, right?” Peppa asked, looking over at her husband.
“Is that too much of an ask? I understand if it is!” You said quickly, starting to back out.
“Of course not!” Felix announced, “Why do you want to lead though?”
“Wellll, I’ve noticed that when Luisa is dancing with her sisters or her cousin, she tends to lead, and I thought it would be nice if she could follow for once.” You said, rubbing the back of your neck. Soft rain drops began to fall as Peppa started to cry.
“That’s so cute!” She walked over to you, taking both of your hands in hers. “Of course we’ll teach you!”
Wedding planning was starting to make everyone in Casita Madrigal a bit crazy. You had been placed on Agustin duty, ensuring that, however he helped didn’t result in serious injuries. Often, Augstin duty overlapped with mother of the bride duty as you tried to help keep Peppa from unleashing a hurricane at any minor inconvenience. Thankfully, dance lessons seemed to distract her enough that you could keep her calm, and Augstin was surprisingly helpful.
“You don’t have to tense that much. Your follow will know to hold themselves up a little bit.” He said, safely seated in a fort of pillows.
“And smile!” Peppa added. “This is supposed to be fun.” You nodded, only to get zapped with mini lightning when Peppa saw one of Tio Bruno’s rats absconding with a decoration. You really did try not to drop her, but the sharp pain in your hand had caused you to jerk away.
“I’m so sorry!” You said, helping her up.
“You’re fine, dear. I shouldn’t have shocked you.” Peppa soothed before stalking off to go get the rat.
“I’m going to go see Julietta, please don’t leave the pillow fort.” You said to Agustin. He gave a thumbs up and you walked into the kitchen, guarding your injured hand.
“Just me.” You called into the kitchen before pushing open the door.
“Angel! What happened?” Luisa’s joy turned to concern at the way you were holding your hand.
“Tia Peppa shocked me on accident.” You said.
“Let me see.” Julietta, bustled past her daughter to look at the scorch mark on your hand. She nodded slowly. “Do you have any discomfort or numbness anywhere else?”
“No.” You said, smiling a little as Luisa slipped behind you to put her arms around you.
“Here.” Julietta said, handing you an Arepa. “Let me know if that hasn’t resolved everything.”
“Yes ma’am.” You promised before eating. In an instant your hand felt good as new. “I should get back to keeping an eye on your dad.” You turned in Luisa’s arms to face her. She nodded and stole a kiss as a voice from outside called for her.
“Coming!” She gave an exasperated look skyward before leaving you.
You walked back to where you had left Augstin. He and Abuela were having a conversation which abruptly stopped as you approached.
“Inventive solution.” Abuela commented, gesturing at the pillow tower.
“Thank you.”
“It seems you have many such interesting solutions. Keeping Peppa calm with dance lessons was an excellent idea.”
“Thank you, Abuela.”
“Is there a particular reason you want to lead?” She asked, raising a single eyebrow.
“I wanted to surprise Luisa.” You said, wondering faintly if you had done something wrong. Abuela only smiled and inclined her head before walking off. You looked at Agustin.
“What was that about?” He looked like he didn’t want to answer, but couldn’t hold out under the force of your stare.
“She just worries about her grandchildren. And that maybe you learning to lead, could upset Luisa inadvertently by taking her role.”
“Oh.”
“I think it’s good for her, actually, and said as much. We find the people we need in this family, someone to take care of my daughter when she forgets to care for herself is exactly the remedy needed.” You took a step forward and hugged him.
“Thank you.”
“Of course. You make her happy, what more could a father ask?”
Tempers began to fray even more as the wedding grew closer. Dolores became increasingly overwhelmed as her soon to be mother-in-law kept trying to insinuate herself into every detail of planning, and dance lessons with Peppa was the perfect way to keep her from cycloning the poor woman. It was a blessing when Abuela finally sat Mariano down and instructed him to distract his mother.
The day of the wedding dawned with clear skies, and you were placed on, don’t let Tio Bruno say a single word about the weather duty. You hadn’t been sure if the same trick would work on him that had worked on Tia Peppa, but it was worth a shot.
“Yeah, sure, but we should switch back and forth.” You blinked at him. “She’s probably not going to want to follow the whole time. This’ll keep you from getting stuck in one mode.”
“Oh, that makes a lot of sense.”
The two of you spent the majority of the morning dancing as everyone in the wedding party prepared and double and triple checked that nothing was going to go wrong. You assembled at the church, taking a seat next to Bruno toward the back.
“This reminds me of last season of my telenovella where Bernard and Anglica were to be married.” He whispered to you about the convoluted plot as the other guests filtered in. Nod along getting more and more invested with each passing moment.
Soon the groom, groomsmen, and the bridesmaids came in, Camilo, Luisa, Mirabel, all waved as they walked past. Isa, who was the maid of honor, gave a cordial nod. Antonio, was the ring bearer, and walked before the flower girl, one of Mariano’s relatives. The jaguar escorted him before circling back and walking with the frightened flower girl.
“Should have had Isabella do that.”Tio Bruno murmured, you fought back a laugh, making a mental not to ask her to for your wedding.
Dolores floated down the aisle in her mother’s wedding gown, Tio Felix an inconsolable wreck next to her. As she reached the pew where her mother sat, a torrential rain hit the church and Tia Peppa sobbed into Abuela’s shawl. The ceremony was simple, sweet, and without a dry eye in the church, even the priest she’d a few tears.
Talking Tia Peppa down enough to make going outside safe took about a half hour. And the guests picked their way out of the church, being mindful of any fallen limbs or shingles. Luisa was tasked with clearing out the worst of the debris and you scurried away to help.
“I got it.” You said, waving her away from a smaller limb.
“You should go enjoy the party.”
“I’ll enjoy it far more with you there than I will without.” You said, grabbing a couple broken shingles. Luisa gave a resigned sigh, smiling at you affectionately. On the walk back, you held hands and swung them back and forth. She grinned and twirled you. You tripped, falling against her chest.
“Sorry!” Luisa said, steadying you.
“It’s fine!” You laughed, “being close to you hasn’t ever been a problem for me.”
You made it back to the reception just in time for the first dance. You grinned as you watched the wedded couple twirling around the floor. Soon the floor opened up to all couples and you held out your hand to Luisa.
“Dance with me?” She raised an eyebrow, but placed her hand in yours to be lead onto the floor. She moved to put her hand on your waist. “No no, I asked you to dance, let me lead.” That earned another eyebrow raise.
“If you’re sure.” She conceded, a small smile on her lips. That doubting smile turned to an expression of shock which turned to full, proper smile.
“When did you learn to dance?” She asked after a particularly complex move that you managed to lead pretty well.
“I may have begged some of your family for help.” You said. She laughed when she noticed the thumbs up from Tio Felix. “I’m going to dip you.” You warned.
“If you think you can.”
“If I think I can? I’ll have you know I only dropped Tia Peppa a couple of times, and one of them wasn’t entirely my fault.” She laughed, and as the song came to an end, you went into the dip. You help that pose for a moment, both breathless and smiling when a flash of a camera surprised you both. Agustin stood with the camera, grinning, before walking away to go photograph other people. You helped her back to standing and she stole a kiss.
The next song started and she grabbed your hip.
“My turn.”

Hi! I love all of your Encanto work! Could I please request Luisa x fem Reader as moms to an adopted baby that is theirs and how the family/ town interact with the kid? If you answer this thank you so much!!! <3
I love it!
You had wandered to the spot where Luisa’s grandfather had been killed, no real intent in mind. You were married, things were going well. You both had, in your own way, expressed some longing for children of your own. Dolores’s second child had added fuel to that particular fire. You sighed, adoption was the only way that was going to happen, but no tragedy taking parents from a child had occurred. You felt a little sick that you were lamenting that, but the desire for a little one to love and raise was strong. You came to the edge of tree line, blinking as you looked at the water.
“A basket?” You asked the surrounding foliage, you walked closer. “One of Pepa’s storms must have blown it out here.” You murmured. “It’s only right to collect it and try to find the owner. Oddly large basket too.” A single golden butterfly rested on its handle before alighting inside. You froze as a giggle came from the basket. “Pedro?” You inquired to the air before walking to where the basket floated. Inside was an infant, the butterfly resting on its nose. You stood in shock for a moment, before scooping the basket from the water.
You put the basket on the ground and gently lifted the baby out. It grabbed at your nose with a chubby hand. You brought it close, looking around for any indication of other people. You couldn’t see any foot prints or sign that anyone had been there. The butterfly rested on top of the child’s head as you hooked the basket over one elbow and cradled the baby to your chest, you could look for it’s parents later, now you needed to get it somewhere safe. You rushed back to Casita, breathing hard as you came to the doors.
“Julieta! Luisa! Abuela!” You panted, entering the court yard in a rush. Julieta was the first to arrive from the kitchen, Luisa entered from the other side, and Abuela appeared on the balcony.
“What in heaven’s name! A baby?” Julieta asked rushing forward.
“The basket. In the. River. Like Moses.” You managed to get out as you were pulled into the kitchen. Julieta took the baby and began to check it over. Luisa pulled a chair out and set it behind your knees. You sat down with a sigh, glad to have a moment to catch your breath. Abuela walked into the kitchen, and the butterfly flew to her shoulder.
“Oh Pedro.” She whispered.
“That’s. What I. Said.” You struggled to get your breathing under control.
“What river? What happened to its family?” Luisa asked, dropping to her knees beside you.
“The one just outside the valley. Where your grandfather died. I don’t know why I was there, I just feel like I needed to. And then I saw the basket. I didn’t see any body around. I figured we could look once the baby was safe.” You said, she took your hand, the flickering of a hope against all hope in her eyes.
“He’s in excellent health for a child who apparently was at very least left, and at worst took a ride down the river.” Julieta said, bouncing the infant slightly. He reached for you, rather vehemently, and you jumped up to catch him. Luisa brushed a single finger along his head as the butterfly landed on her hand.
“We should take care of him. At least until we can find his family.” She murmured, absolutely entranced.
“Absolutely. I will have a search party arranged. In the meantime, we have to have an old cradle to put in your room.” Abuela said decisively, she left calling for Felix, Mariano, Isabela, and Pepa. Mirabel found and painted an old crib, working fast so it would be dry by the time night came.
“What are you going to name him?” She asked, letting him hold her fingers.
“It’s a bit soon, Mira. We might find his parents.” Luisa said, holding him against her chest.
“Luisa’s right, he might not be here long.” You agreed. Days turned to weeks. And no sign of where he had come from could be found. Julieta had taken to preparing formula for the baby. You had both been hesitant to give him the name you wanted, but finally you asked Abuela’s permission to name him Pedro.
“Yes. With all my heart, yes.” She whispered, tears in her eyes, as she held him.
“Here we go!” Bruno said, holding out the tablet to you. You sat with Luisa and Pedro in the sand circle, and you gently took the tablet.
“No sign of his family?” Bruno raised an eyebrow at you.
“That’s what I asked, you are his family kid. You and Luisa, and well, the rest of us of course.” The tablet showed you and Luisa holding a little boy between you, all three of you smiling.
Camilo and Antonio were glad to have another boy in the house, even if he wasn’t big enough to play with them yet. Antonio introduced little Pedro to all of his animal friends, and Camilo spent hours doing impressions and earning happy little giggles. Dolores’s children were a bit too young to see the draw in another itty tiny in the house, but they would occasionally ask to hold him. Her youngest being about three. Isa adored being an aunt, and would steal him every chance she got, and was in almost constant competition with Mirabel for time with him.
The town’s folk were a bit unsure at first. They got over it pretty quickly thought. What’s one more miracle in a valley bursting with them. And frankly, Luisa was the cutest mom ever. If her doting didn’t win hearts and change minds, nothing would. She walked through her chores, baby strapped to her chest or back, unless it was something too dangerous for him to be on her person. She talked to him constantly.
“You keep that up, his first word is going to be donkey.” You commented, hip checking her lightly as you took the baby.
“I’m more worried about it being ‘Luisa’. I hear it often enough.” She complained. You laughed a little, kissing his chubby little face. You noticed Agustin approaching and waved as Luisa headed the opposite direction with the donkeys.
“Y/n, hi! I was hoping to steal a little time with my grandson.” He said, perching on a rock. You smiled and set him gently in Agustin’s arms.
“It seems like a fight to get any time with him when Isa or Mira are around.” You joked sitting next to him. You stayed there even after Luisa came back, just letting have some time to be the doting grandfather. He carried Pedro as you walked back to the central square, where Julieta stole him as she tended to her patients.
“Some says I wonder if he’s going to know his parents from the rest of the family.” You said, only 10% serious, as Luisa wrapped an arm around you.
“Maybe, but I can’t imagine a better family for him to have come to.” She countered kissing the top of your head.

Don’t Do That Again
“Darling!” You called walking down the path to where Luisa was gather the burros, again.
“Over here!” She called back, picking up another one from where it had been grazing. You rounded the corner and sat down on a nearby rock.
“I had a hypothetical I wanted to run by you.”
“Alright.” She said turning around to face you.
“You know that thing you do where you kick the burro and if flips onto the top of the stack?”
“Yeah?”
“Do you think you could do it with someone on its back?” Luisa looked at you like you were crazy.
“Of course I could why would you- Ah ha, no. No, we are not going to take that kind of risk. Nope nope, not gonna happen.”
“Oh come on!” You teased. “I trust you.”
“What if the landing goes wrong and you get squished? Or you fall off and I can’t catch you?” Luisa argued, already looking super stressed. Well, this wasn’t going to plan.
“Alright, I’m sorry, forget I asked.” You said. “Can I walk with you?” Luisa took a breath.
“Yeah of course.”
The walk was mostly silent, with Luisa looking super tense the entire time as she put the burros away. She went to putting the fence back together without a word.
“I really didn’t mean to upset you.” No answer. “Do you need me to leave?”
“No!” Luisa dropped a plank on her foot, earning a sharp gasp from you.
“Are you alright?” She kicked it into her hand and gave you an amused smile. “Oh right, I forgot.”
“You’re the only person who forgets.” She laughed.
“Yeah. Sorry.” She put the plank back in place and walked over pulling you into a hug.
“Don’t worry about it, it’s cute.” Luisa moved you so you were standing on her foot. “Let go.” She whispered. You raised an eyebrow and did as you were told.
You only managed to scream once you were air-born and coming back to earth. You landed hard in Luisa’s arms. She looked super confused at your very unsettled expression.
“I thought you wanted me to-“
“No!” You panted “that was supposed to be an amusing hypothetical because you seemed stressed! I don’t like heights!”
“I am so sorry.” Luisa said, trying not to laugh. “When you said that you trusted me, I thought.”
“I do, I also didn’t realize I was volunteering to be tossed like a Burro!”
“You’re a cute burro.” You groaned and dropped your head to her chest dramatically. “I love you.”
“I love you too, please don’t do that again.”

so,, some luisa x reader fluff please? like reader’s staying up late reading a book or doing some other hobby and luisa does the whole “honey are you coming to bed yet?” shtick, just saying cute stuff like “the bed is cold without you” one big order of cuddly fluffy luisa please 🥺
Absolutely!
It had been months since a shipment of new puzzels had arrived in Encanto. You had already done most of the ones in your collection twice, so when a surprise shipment arrived, you had pounced on one and squirreled it away to do later that night. The rest of the day seemed to drag until, finally after dinner, you set up in an alcove and got started.
“Amor, I’m going to bed.” Luisa kissed the top of your head.
“Be there in a minute.” You promised, before immersing yourself back into the puzzle.
“Are you coming to bed soon?” Luisa asked.
“Absolutely, I’ll be up in a minute.” You were a little annoyed that she’d asked twice in ten minutes, but maybe she’d forgotten she already asked.
“Amor, the bed is cold and I miss you.” Luisa didn’t pout often, so you looked up at her a little quizzically.
“I’ll be up in a minute, darling, promise.”
“Define a minute.”
“Oh, I don’t know probably ten minutes.” You said, if only you could get that center bit.
“You’ve been doing that puzzle for four hours. Please come to bed. I sleep so much better with you there.” You looked over at Luisa sharply.
“How long did you say?”
“Four hours?”
“I am so sorry, darling, I had no idea.” You looked down at the puzzle which was over half way completed.
“Please. I know you love doing your puzzles, but can’t it wait until tomorrow night?” Luisa asked, putting her arms around you, and pressing her face against the back of your neck.
“Of course. I’m sorry.” You apologized, squeezing her arm gently. She hummed before kissing your neck and carrying you up the stairs to her room.
