luz fundamentally is a fluid and ever shifting character because she is a human witch. she is from another land that she doesn’t fit into. she is so many different things to do many ppl. a friend a daughter a sister a lover. she represents someone’s greatest enemy and someone’s greatest ally. her palisman reflects that perfectly

also the fact that it’s a reference to all the different theories the fandom has had is so great

Barely a minute later, you’re immediately under attack again by an evil possessed puppet and a god with abandonment issues who is literally a child. They're both trying to murder your human witch.

I find it odd how many people seem to find it strange Luz's palisman has "main character energy" like Luz isn't the main character. Like, yeah. Her palisman will have main character energy. She IS the main character. I know the Fandom and the show sometimes forgets that, but she is. Of course her palisman would have its own abilities, she's the damn main character of the show. It'd be weird if hers wasn't unique in some way.

"Well no one else's palisman can shapeshift". True, but no one else's palisman was hatched from an egg. I'd say Luz's palisman is probably very different from a normal one because of that. If anything, Luz's palisman beingg very different from a regular one makes sense because she created it in a way that was drastically different from the usual method. It's like her magic. It's done in a different way than everyone else. Also, Bump's palisman turns into a hat that fixes his vision, and no one finds that odd. Maybe palisman just have certain abilities depending on what their owner or creator NEEDS them to have.
