so i did all the m'ap tann pelen quests last night, and first things first: let me share this horror with you all:

this made the johnny sex scene just... hilarious and terrifying in equal measures

second: it looks like 1.3 didn't fix the minor glitch where V can't switch weapons or use the tech attacks following the johnny sequence. a reload still fixed it, but i was annoyed for a minute when i couldn't do my sneaky shit. (valerie takes mosley's offer so she's gotta fight to get out of the vdb chapel.)

third: in my first playthrough, i did this mission after play it safe, i think largely because the game more frequently defaulted it to my next mission, but i think i actually like the story progression more saving play it safe until just about the end of the game. especially since i'm going the arasaka route. i also really like the idea of filling in the space between play it safe and Nocturne Op55N1 with valerie wrapping up unfinished business with her friends rather than pursuing another lead.

fourth: i gotta spread goro's missions out better in my next playthrough, haha. I HAVEN'T HAD QUALITY IN-GAME TIME WITH HIM IN LIKE TWO WEEKS. and i can't even call him since he's waiting at the parade. i miss my fictional boyfrienddddddd

Finally got around to the M'ap Tann Pelen quest and to be honest, being in that chapel surrounded by crying people and listening to that sermon made me feel some type of way.
