As a salve it is great for general skin repair for minor scraps, cuticle damage, diper rashes etc. This time of I reccomend it for skin boils that that appear while cleansing. It is safe remedy for kids to have on hand. I give the kiddo a tin every time I make it so he can apply it as needed. Instead of him coming to everytime he has a paper cut.
