My card suit mahou OCs as Precure-style magical girls! This is definitely one of the sillier and more self-indulgent things I’ve drawn ever. DokiDoki Precure already uses the French suits, so instead I borrowed from the German and Swiss-German suits.

Magical girl show where magical boys are textually confirmed to exist and have a significant presence in the setting, but never actually appear owing to the fact that the viewer is forever just barely missing them; any time the need for magical ass-kicking arises, they’re either dealing with a different problem somewhere else, have coincidentally left the area right before the protagonists arrive, or – if all else fails – the camera just happens to be pointing the wrong way. One of the major supporting characters is a magical boy whose exploits are occasionally discussed, but for the reasons outlined above his powered-up form is never seen on screen.
