No, eventhough everyone thought those two already together since forever, MaiTake aren't dating because they are both dumbass.

Hina kissed Mikey because they are too together right? They are all in a relationship together. Mikey thought Hina want to cheat on Takemichi with him and got angry.

And that's how Hina found out that Mikey and Takemichi are not couple. (But unknown to those two, deep down those two want to, but they are both dense mf that make Hina want to rip her hair out trying to get them together so they can truly be a trio)

Low-key obsessed with Mikey x Hina in the way that I was obsessed with Gojo x Utahime shippers. Like, it’s so heterosexual, and as someone who stays in predominantly queer fandom spaces, I think that’s beautiful. It’s like twelve degrees removed from canon, and heavily shoujo-fied, but honestly I kind of see your artistic vision here guys.

I think Maihina endgame would be the funniest possible tokrev ending, and I would be delighted if it happened. Like, could you imagine if Hina was just like “fuck you Takemichi, I have to go live out some Wattpad fantasies,” and Mikey agreed to it? Just really getting into the Wattpad bad boy role Kisaki was desperately trying to play. I actually do think Takemichi would be fine with it though. He’d just be content that someone’s making Mikey happy and that Hina’s alive.

But like could you actually imagine those two going on a date? I’m trying to imagine it and I’m drawing a blank. I kind of wish they interacted more in canon. I genuinely do not know how Hina feels about Mikey. Does she like him? Is she jealous that he keeps stealing her boyfriend? Does she secretly think he’s very cool and handsome and the superior hidden option love interest for her?

Mai hated her scars.

She wore them proudly, because, dammit, she deserved respect for the shit she went through. She had literally walked through fire and survived. Didn’t mean she didn’t hate them though.

She stared at them in the mirror, seeing them reflect the light on her shoulders in that weird way scars did, the way that made them look shiny. She reached back, digging her nails into her shoulder, desperate to feel something there.

Nothing.

She slammed her hand back down on the sink, careful not to damage the porcelain (best not to make her new girlfriend’s dad hate her already).

A soft, gentle hand touched the little bit of her shoulder not covered in burns. She turned, seeing Hinata’s sweet smile.

One of them keeps cheating on you and bailed on your wedding to chase after a man that keeps trying to murder him. And that’s the better option. The other one keeps murdering you for rejecting his marriage proposal despite the fact he refuses to just… have a relationship with you first?

So, like, gay or incel. Those are your options. Least romantic love triangle ever. What a let down. They can’t even let Hina properly live out those Wattpad bad boy fantasies that most 14 year old girls have (I didn’t but that’s because I’m simply built different), that’s so sad. I think I finally understand Maihina shippers’ vision now.

Ok, due to recent events I realize I would totally have shipped Maihina if Mikey seemed just slightly more interested in her. But like, it reads like Mikey is jealous of her, whereas Chifuyu… isn’t. Mikey’s like “wow…Hina’s such a good girlfriend, you better be happy with her…” *turns away sadly*drags him away by the hand to go have a moment right after he made up with her* *literally parallels her relationship with him*. And Chifuyu is like “Wow, your girlfriend is so pretty ahaha” “hahah she totally deserves better than you” “hey, remember your girlfriend? Because /I/ certainly do”
