at first glance i thought the fixation on till’s neck was a sly joke about a/b/o, a genre heavily based in bl works, in the same cheeky way ivan’s name is a play on korean lgbt slang.
but the recurring motif of strangulation, how till's relationships (excluding his infatuation with mizi) are largely characterized with him being the object while the other is the subject; how him being on a leash, not just a collar, is quite literally one of his defining visual traits...
it reminds me of shakespeare's othello, where the titular character strangles his wife to death in a fit of jealousy over her alleged infidelity... the results of round 6 almost feel like a subversion of that play, where the leading artwork, esp the red one, seemed to suggest that ivan would strangle till in an act of possession, but it ended up as just the opposite.
but i wonder if there's more symbolism we can extrapolate if we hypothesize that some of the imagery are allegories to othello...

Honestly sometimes I feel compelled to take screenshots of ridiculous and ooc SNS fics and critique them on Tumblr. But that would be too mean I guess. Sometimes though, it's hard to remain passive. Grr.

I understand your reasons for shunning the Mishima-Ryu style after Heihachi betrayed you, but why did you not seek members of your mother's family to fully learn more of the Kazama Style? Did you fear Heihachi would be looking for you were you to stay in Japan? Did your mother not speak of her family much?
After all, I do recall that you learnt traditional Karate in Australia, but I think taking up the Kazama Style and adjusting it to your self would have been interesting.
(Shout out to Jin being one of the few Tekken character to get a full-on move-set switch between games for lore reasons, the closest thing to it before was Tag Tournament giving clone characters like P. Jack & Kunimitsu unique moves so they stood out more from their originals, Jack & Yoshimitsu.)
❝ I did fear Heihachi would discover my whereabouts if I stayed in Japan. But . . . my mother's style is defensive with the intent to protect. I planned on killing Kazuya & Heihachi, I couldn't disgrace my family by using our martial arts to harm. So, instead of going to my uncle, I went to learn traditional karate. ❞

Be me remembering this one post about the TFE command trine (Thundercracker, Skywarp, and Starscream) being called "The masc, the femme, and the holy spirit" and i am Fucking Hoping because holy shit that would be amazing, also because I'm a big believer of genderqueer Starscream because who are we fucking kidding that jet is nonconforming to genders beyond typical human understanding

As I said I was a serial fibber as a child and one of the most ridiculous lies I told that I've never shared on here was that I pretended to be Jewish. 😭 The reason for this is that I went to school in a very diverse area of london and a majority of my schoolmates were either Hindu or Muslim, a few Christian or Sikh and I was the only one raised atheist. In Religious Education we would learn about different religions (which was good imo) and occasionally we would be asked to share something about OUR religion- which I did not have, so I felt left out and made stuff up. Initially I pretended to be Christian but decided this was too boring and "converted" to Judaism which at 7 I saw as "the other white people religion" so I could feel special while being included.
I'm ashamed to say that I A) coloured in the pictures we were given of Hannukah celebrations making all the Jewish people blonde like me B) would routinely scrawl something random on paper and tell people that was their name in Hebrew
😔 so I'd like to apologise formally to the Jewish community
