☕️ Bayverse Designs

The bayverse designs are a mixed bag. On one angle, I really like how alien they are and just how damn much weight there is behind them. The dinobots move in a very interesting way, and Lazerbeak has this fun phoenix/archaeopteryx feel to her. I honestly loved Quintessa's design because of how different she feels than anything else we see, and how deceptively ethereal she is. Jazz's design was goddamn fun in my eyes and i truly wish he had gotten to be more of a reoccurring character than just a kitkat bar discarded with a twoliner. The motorcycle femmes (Arcee, Elita, and Chromia iicr) were also in this category, fun designs and dynamics and i wish they hadn't died.

Though, you can tell some of the Decepticon designs really got shafted as Bay wanted them to be nothing more than cannon fodder and you can kinda tell they went for a more humanlike look in the last two movies. Which, could work under some circumstances like it did for Crosshair, but I'm gonna be real i preferred pre AoE Optimus's root mode design. The majority of the Allspark sparklings felt like jumbles of scrap metal rather than honestly looking like the devices they used to be, and imo Cogsworth is a little too similar to c3po.
