Hello everyone, finally, I’m back with a totally new template pack today ! I started to work on this one a long time ago now, and I finally have a little time to finish it, post it and share it ! Hope you will like these ones, I made them from personnal ideas and also inspiring by existing magazines. This time, I made HQ templates of a very large height (1080x1440px), of course you can resize them like you want. You use one of it ? For this template, I used real instax polaroid sheets I scanned. I was really happy to receive my own instax camera this year so I would like to share a special template mixing scans and digital. okay so i couldn’t recreate the exact edit but i tried and i hope you understand all the steps, please feel free to ask any questions!

*i m really bad at explaining plus my english is a big LOL bear with me :P

here’s the edit:

What you’ll need: any version of PS, i used CS6, a picture of a person or anything i guess, water splash brushes (just look them up on google bc i don’t remember the site i downloaded mine from lol) and gifs like these x

Open your picture, i m using a messed up render:

make sure the BG color is sth that is completely different from the colors of ur subject, like for that edit, i kept the BG white/ grey. That’s because otherwise you won’t be able to see the water splash stuff idk lol i m sorry i guess it depends, u can try playing around with the colors. Not really that important.

anyway, let’s continue. Make all the adjustments that you want, i just sharpened mine and added a PSD

duplicate the subject/ person/ whatever lol, and make it invisible (turn off that eye thingy). You know like this:

we are gonna need it for later or just in case we mess up the original pic/ render

i made a minor adjustment to my subject, made his skin color B&W bc it looks better that way:

now for the fun part, add a layer mask to the pic:

take one of the water splash brushes or any other brush will do too and start erasing parts of the subject like so, make sure the layer mask is selected:

now, after you’re done the erasing, to make the splash effect thing u can either use the duplicated image and liquify it, then use masks or just take the brush tool and use the colors in the subject (eg the blue and red) to make the splash effect thing (i can’t explain this so i will just show it, i will be using the brush method it’s probably easier if you’re new to PS):

it’s not hard at all, i just matched the colors and used the brushes to create the effect. I didn’t add more splashy stuff bc i m really lazy but please feel free to do anything u want

I also added a smoke gif to that edit, u can too if u want.

i used this gif:

and depending on ur pic, and the BG, you’re gonna have to play around with the opacity and blending modes.

for this edit, my blending mode was screen. And here’s the result:
