“If enough time passes, even your own homeland will forget you.”
Thrown into the tides of time by the climactic fall of Netheril, Maraxias watched in horror as her escape attempt became consumed by the white-hot threads of explosive wild magic beneath the descending city, and her last thoughts were of the feeling of her friend’s hands slipping from hers. When next she woke, her eyes were locked with a strangers, who’s iris glimmered in a savage amber. Freed, and indebted, she served the Bhaalspawn for a number of years, though the manner of their parting is swathed in mystery. Free once more to follow her own whim, she wandered Faerun, searching for purpose -- until she found it again.
Doesn’t this look like Quinn and the Warrior are exchanging a look of, “I’m sorry all of these people are here; I wish we were alone so we could properly celebrate our reunion”? Maybe I’m over-analyzing a simple screenshot, but the idea of Quinn looking over at her and even momentarily ignoring his reasons for being there because he missed her so much and thought she was dead makes me happy.
