Dolldrops adventure in MCM Comic Con London

Finally settled my PC back up and I can post these pictures!

The Dolldrops and I had a fantastic time in London last weekend! The dolls received many compliments, head pats, hugs, and other lovely comments from people daily!

They met Marta Svetek, Kellen Goff, and Dawko! Kellen also signed the dolls for me :>

I got them a lot of lovely treats like bubble tea and new plushies - It was their first time going out to the public and they were just basking in the attention they received! Going back to the hotel and both were just sleeping in the bag or my lap like exhausted little puppies.

Now we're in our new apartment, trying to get settled. The trip was successful, even though I was pretty anxious travelling with them :D We'll be saving money to make another trip sometime in the future!

We met @kriimhild too, and she was a great help babysitting the two little gremlins so I could rest my wrists from carrying both of them all the time :'D

marta svetek -- voice of gregory, vanny, roxanne wolf in fnaf: sb and its dlc, ruin -- has joined kellen goff in voicing her thoughts on ai reproductions of her voice. again: if you want voice actors to maintain a living wage (and their own mental health), please respect her wishes and ensure that this kind of behaviour is heavily discouraged in the future.

Been getting tagged in all kinds of posts and popular TikToks of people using AI voice clones of my FNAF characters to have them sing or say all kinds of random stuff. You might think it's fun. But really it's contributing to the problem all VAs are facing in the wake of AI. The more these AI voice clones get used, the more they're normalized, and the more businesses see it as a viable alternative to real VAs when making content for you. Slowly but surely, most of your favourite VAs will be out of work. Not to mention what this will cost in terms of future generations of VAs. Incredible performances we'll never get to experience because most businesses will more often than not go for the cheapest, quickest option as soon as the technology is up to scratch. This is made even worse by the fact that we currently have very few legal protections against the unauthorized use of our voices using AI. And we're being pressured to waive those too, for a fraction of their worth. This is one of the big reasons the current strikes are a thing. If you enjoyed my work in FNAF and have any respect for the amount of time and effort VAs put into bringing characters to life, don't use AI voice clones in your fanart. I can't express how violated I feel every time I hear my voice say words that aren't my own. And just in case it wasn't clear - I have never consented to having my voice, likeness or any of my performances synthesized into AI voices/avatars etc.

it sucks seeing all the tiktokers posting "gregory singing I got no time ai cover?!?" on tiktok when his voice actor Marta Svetek has said that she doesn't approve of ai (as she should) and feels and I quote 'violated' when she sees them.

like how can you be so tone deaf to the problem of ai in general and even VA's own personal wishes to make these videos. I understand these people are probably kids but the strikes and ai discourse are all over the internet and very hard to miss

so I finished this drawing that I made as a gift for Marta Svetek (voice of Roxanne “roxy” wolf, Vanny, and Gregory! Took me a few days to finish :] )

So while I was seeing who voiced Ollie in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3(Reid Osiecki btw-) I found out that Roxanne, Vanny AND Gregory all share the same voice actress, Marta Svetek

I actually didn't know that. But on the other hand I am the type of person that doesn't play attention to the end credits or skip them.

Anyway, can we like. Give Marta Svetek an award or something for her voice acting? She was literally 90% of the voice acting for Ruin given she was Gregory/Mimic’s voice and Roxy’s voice. She’s got such a big range it’s really impressive

Can we talk about how bullshitty the Vanny is Vanessa theory is?

First off, the whole theory started with the Funko statues, the one that includes Vanny and the Nightguard (Vanessa) standing close to each other. People began to think that the two could be the same when they read the title of the statue: Vanny and Vanessa. Which makes no sense because if they were the same, it would have said Vanny/Vanessa. Weird right?

However there’s more. My online friend told me that they and their friends noticed that the two have completely different voices (which is further backed up by Vanny being voiced by Marta Svetek and Vanessa being voiced by Heather Masters).

Also, it wouldn’t really make sense for Vanny to constantly take off and put her suit back on throughout the game, instead of just keeping it on/off (and why would she need to disguise herself as a nightguard when she’s the only worker there?). Nor would it make sense for Vanessa to switch from being good, to being evil.

In Vanessa’s teaser, it says protect. Which is clearly what Vanessa does, but how would she protect Gregory from Vanny if she is Vanny? Doesn’t make sense, does it?

Finally, back to the statue that started this whole theory in the first place. It consists of both Vanny and Vanessa standing next to each other, which wouldn’t be possible if they were the same person.
