I present to you my art for @masonhewittappreciation week! A pretty self indulgent piece because I just thought Mason would look beautiful in a flower crown. 🥺 But I did try to use flowers that I felt would represent Mason and the wonderful little character he is. We have the yellow Daisy; friendship, joy, cheerfulness. I honestly couldn't imagine having a better friend than Mason. He's kind, caring, and supportive and always ready to be a shoulder to lean on. And Iris; hope, courage, wisdom. (Thank you to @sterekshipper-writer for the suggestion) Mason is incredibly brave, never letting the fact that he is just human stop him from doing what he can to help and be an active member of the McCall pack. He's wickedly intelligent, with a great thirst for knowledge and immediately dives head first into learning what he can about the Supernaturals of Beacon Hills. Even helping Kira to understand parts of being a Kitsune that she didn't even know.

Disclaimer: This ended up being more about Deaton than intended! I hope Mason fans will enjoy anyway. I love both characters and love them working together.

It’s dark by the time Mason gets to the clinic and the warmth inside is a welcome relief. 

‘Alan?’ Nothing. He tries again. ’I brought coffee!’

‘Hello, what?’ asks Deaton, emerging from the exam room.

‘Coffee,’ Mason repeats, placing the tray on the counter. ‘For you. And yes, it’s oat milk.’

Deaton’s eyes widen. ‘Oh!’ he says. ‘Well, then that’s… Thank you.’ 

Mason grins. For a man as unflappable as Alan, the strangest things can sometimes throw him.  He opens his backpack and pulls out a tattered notebook. ‘So, I was thinking tonight we could cover the Samhuinn Nemeton rituals?’

You loved it last year so it’s coming back again! Get excited for Mason Hewitt Appreciation Week!! The week to shower our favorite boy with love will be running from March 25 2023 to March 31 2023, be prepared!

What is it? Mason Appreciation Week 2023: A week to celebrate all things Mason Hewitt!

When is it? March 25-31 2023.

What can I make? Anything that celebrates Mason: gifs, edits, playlists, fic, vid, you name it !

Is anything not allowed? No character hate/bashing of any kind. Please refrain from creating noncon works for this event. Any ratings are good as long they are tagged correctly.

Sometime post-6B. Mason meets the new guidance counsellor. This is a 100 word drabble. Thanks @spikeface for beta :)

‘So… Mason? Have you thought about college?’

She doesn’t have any notes from Tamora then. 

‘Pre-med. My first choice is UCLA.’

‘Oh!’ She says. Textbook. ‘Well, that is ambitious. Have you actually looked… ’

‘Yes,’ he interjects. ‘My applications are mostly submitted.’

He doesn’t have time for this. Between early applications, assignment deadlines and, y’know, keeping his friends alive, Mason barely has time to fuck his boyfriend, let alone indulge the latest hapless incumbent of the guidance counsellor’s office.

But he’s been dealing with people like her since he was four years old.

He flashes his brightest smile. ‘It’s all good.’

Finstock’s head jerks up. That time was unmistakable. Goddammit.

Sighing heavily, he rises from his desk and strides out into the darkened locker room.

The sight confronting him when he rounds the second bank of lockers is unsurprising, though admittedly one of the more pornographic of the variations he’s witnessed over the years. It is at least athletic, he notes. Corey Bryant and his preposterously well-mannered boyfriend. 

‘You two!’ Finstock bellows.

Their heads turn in synchrony - twin looks of horror on their faces - before they collapse into an ungainly heap on the tiles. Ridiculous.

‘Go home! NOW!’
