1) Kunti be like I fucked up so bad with Draupadi, I’m now banning myself from giving any advice.

2) Yay! Krishna and Kunti are meeting. My two favourite statesmen.

3) Krishna talking about parenthood with Kunti because he has so much experience being father of the universe.

4) Krishna passing through the sun and his crown glinting like the luminous Buddha 😍

5 Who’s benefit does Shakuni do all these theatrics for? Both his sister and brother-in-law are blind.

6) Arjun and Krishna are 😍

7) Kakashri Vidur is here! He does not look happy about all the polyandry.

8) Shakuni when Bhishma walks in to stop the coronation, so close!

9) Bhishma introducing himself as Shantanu’s son and calling Dhritarashtra, son.

10) Karna is such an upstart. He thinks he can challenge Bhishma?

11) Duryodhan’s hair is so damn fine.

12) Bhishma is like Ghatotkatch can’t be a Kuru but he can be my great grandson. Wtf.

13) Bhishma is like first you marry a rakshasi, then you have a half rakshas baby. Now you’re telling me all five of you have married this princess? Adharm!

25) Dhritarashtra has many faults but being an indecisive little bitch tops that list.

26) Wtf why are these men even allowing themselves to be tied up and carted off like common criminals.

27) This scene is so sad. Bhim loves Panchali the most, who loves Arjun the most, who will eventually go on to love Subhadra the most.

28) Bhishma is so sexy when he’s mad. Real (grand)daddy vibes.

29) Shakuni playing the long game in order to maximise the Kurus’ sufferings.

30) Dhritarashtra playing the blind card one more time. In Starbharat, Dhritarashtra is not a good person, he is not attached to Vidur and his uncle. In most other stories he is. Here he’s smarming up to Bhishma who is stupid enough not to see through it. Or is he?

31) Draupadi is so smart. Kunti chose a good successor. Seriously with an evil uncle like Dhritarashtra, and a useless uncle like Vidur and no father, the Pandavas would have died out of it weren’t for Kunti, and later Draupadi.

32) I see. Bhishma bartered away his freedom to Dhritarashtra so that he would divide the kingdom and give one half to the Pandavas.

33) I’m so glad they showed made Arjun wearing white canon in this show. Sometimes I love Starbharat so fucking much. To be fair, I realised that even BR Chopra Mahabharat made Arjun wear white. But they took away his real name, something I can never forgive.

34) Dhritarashtra gave Yudhisthira 1 lakh cows. Score.

35) Dhritarashtra keeping Kunti captive as insurance is some A+ politicking. Shakuni is like, I’ve taught you well, Jijaji.

36) “Ek rajya de kar, Tatshri ne bohut kuch cheen liya.” Arjun. My boy. My man.

37) Bhishma: one day your city will be the capital of all of Aryavarta 😭😭 He was right!

38) Shakuni is suggesting they cuckold Yudhisthira but with a capital city?

39) Finally the Gandiva has come out. About time, Arjun. Wait, this is not the Gandiva. Nevermind.

40) Just when I’m about to lose hope, Yudhisthira comes out and shows he has brains.

44) Fairly certain it was Arjun AND Krishna that burnt down Khandavprastha together, thereby starting the massive deforestation process in India. But Starbharat has a way of excluding Krishna from key moments in the Pandava’s life. But not Draupadi’s.

So…these maybe got out of hand…

1.

There’s no speed in her movements. She’s gotten stronger against the bag, but not in the ring. She needs cleaner offense, maybe she’s afraid to hit me. Lincoln had rolled his eyes, but acquiesced when his sister had asked him to be a breathing punching bag for one of the newer gym members. This wasn’t a new thing, sparring with Indra’s fighters, allowing the trainer to get a full view of their technique against someone she herself had molded. 

He’d watched Octavia, seen her around the gym, even spoken a few times, but they’d never been in the ring together until now. He’d thrown on a pair of mitts, intending all of his strikes to be playful swipes. “You get to be done when you get a clean hit in. That’s it,” he shrugged. “No blocks, no glances, solid body or head shot.” He was cocky enough to think she wouldn’t get him, so much so that he’d foregone headgear and a mouthpiece. 

They’re multiple rounds in, Lincoln having absorbed all of her shots with the mitts or by tucking his elbows into his core. He’s managed to cuff her upside her headgear a handful of times, pleased when she isn’t able to retaliate fast enough to get under his guard. Apparently, though, what she’s picked up from Indra is strategy. She must have been sitting back, watching what he did, because somewhere around round 9, he dances in, not even feeling fatigued yet. He lazily pushes some mitted jabs her way. It’s as he’s throwing the hook that she plants her feet and throws her own uppercut. He sees it, tries to pull back away from it, but his entire bodyweight was shifted for the hook and she catches him on the tip of his chin. 

There’s not really enough power to hurt him, except…he had been smack-talking the whole time and had no mouthpiece. He grunts in pain and can taste the copper pooling in his mouth. He turns toward the corner, spitting a stream of blood into the bucket there. Bit your tongue, didn’t you? he hears in his sister’s teasing voice. “Mouth guard, Linc. Yeah yeah. Fuck you both.”

It became clear after the first few matches that Octavia could take a punch. In fact, she could take quite a few, and her face showed it. Lincoln could still hear his sister’s nagging in his mind. This is your fault. Those half-assed swipes at her head until she figured you out. Now she seems to think she can do that to anyone. It’s your problem now. She’s got no guard. So, now he was in here on his time, trying to teach the somewhat new kid how to not get her nose broken. 

He’s got actual gloves on this time, but he’s definitely going to be holding back as they circle around one another in the ring. “Mmm, rules of the game this time,” he hums, bouncing on his toes as he eyed her in the other corner. “You don’t want to let me land a punch. Block it, dodge it, whatever you gotta do,” he explained. “For everyone I land, we’re going to add time to the round. Make it out of a full round without getting hit, we’ll call it.” He picked up a mouth guard this time before glancing back across the ring. “Hope that stamina’s in check, because I can do this all night,” he teased, wiggling his eyebrows as he shoved the mouth guard in.

The third time they spar, Lincoln’s convinced Indra’s doing it just to be annoying. She won’t give him as straight answer as to why. She gives him some half-assed story about how he’s in better shape than the other female fighters, that she actually seems to listen to him, and then she says some shit about how it’ll do both of them some good. So she’s caught me staring. That’s the only thing he can think. Leave it to his big sister to think tossing two people some gloves and throwing them in a ring is matchmaking. 

Lincoln’s pretty sure it does the opposite, actually. They both have on gloves and are told not to hold back, though if anyone believes Lincoln is going to punch at full power they’re absolutely off their rocker. He has the same front he’s been wearing anytime they interact: it’s just business. He’s just here to help his sister, little bit of the “family business” deal going on. 

He had lost track of the rounds, probably 7 or so, when it happened. He’s been an ass the entire time, barely speaking and only giving short replies to her questions and even shorter statements to try to correct her form. He’d been unfocused the whole time. Watching her boxing form turned into just watching her form. He threw a cross and she dodged it, his eyes glued on the way the grown muscles in her shoulders and core show as she tells her body to move. He doesn’t even see the hook coming before her glove was in his ribs, a grunt heard as he gritted his teeth against his mouth guard. What happened to no speed? he thought as she follows up with a shot to his jaw that he just manged to turn his head to cause the glove to glance off in a half-blow. 

It was all he needed to get his head on straight, focusing more on the fight and less on her. However, that does mean the training aspect of the match is out the window. Thankfully, Indra’d been watching the whole time, off in the corner, and had grabbed Octavia following the 12th. “Real fuckin’ brilliant idea,” he muttered once Indra had found him in the office afterwards. “You’re a real fuckin’ cupid.”

4. 

After Bellamy’s stint in the hospital, Lincoln felt like things were hitting a little to close to home. Well, not home exactly, but he didn’t like the idea of the Blake’s being on the Grounder’s radar. He rearranged his schedule, made sure to pick a night they’d both be free and no one would be at the gym late. The text had been simple, Gym, 10 tonight, be ready for a workout. Though, in hindsight, he supposed sending your girl texts about “workouts” could have multiple meanings. 

When she’d dug into her bag for hand wraps, he’d stopped her. “No gloves. Tonight’s not about boxing,” which might have added to the alternate meaning if his face wasn’t so serious. He hadn’t been able to get Bellamy out of his head for days. Still saw the look on Octavia’s face when she found out he’d been in that bar with the others, watching while it happened. “Self-defense. No protection. I want…,” he trailed off, looking around the gym for a moment to gather his words. “I’m scared, O. I want you to be ready if they don’t stop at the bar.”

He spent the next half-hour showing her some different ways to counter a guy bigger than her if he came at her with intent. Then, he had her practice them against him. They were at least an hour in before she managed to sneak under his arm, hook a leg around his, and slam him to the mat. 

“Like that?”

 A deep chuckle sounded from his throat, tinged with relief. She was going to get the hang of this. He let the laughter die down naturally and took just a second to catch his breath. Managing to maneuver his elbow inside her guard, he rolled them over. “It’s a start,” he told her as he leaned down, lips meeting hers.

5. 

Lincoln’s life doesn’t allow for the usual banter and easy-going relationship that most people deem “normal.” That’s not to say that his relationship didn’t have those things, just not as often as he would like. They have managed to find their moments, but they are few and far between, especially as of late. Ever since he had come home to find her beaten and bruised in his bathroom, things have been tense. He does not know how to move past that incident. She tries, attempts to put his mind at ease. But all he can do is let the issue drop for a few hours before his mood turns sour once more and his walls go back up.

Tonight, he plans on trying to put some of his anxiety to rest. He’s invited her over, but not for the typical, “Come over to my apartment and let’s have some fun” fun. That’s not how they roll. As soon as she enters the apartment, the furniture shoved against the walls is noticeable. He doesn’t have a big apartment, so he has had to try to make space as best as he can. Sitting on the bar of the kitchen, the tiny counter that separates his living room from his kitchen, are 4 knives, 2 real and 2 fake.

He’s ready when she questions what his plans are. “You won’t run. I know what you said,” he stops her with a raised hand, “but we both know you won’t stay away. So, I need you to be able to fight back. No more simple self-defense bullshit. If they aren’t going to fight fair…,” he shrugs, not knowing if she’ll go for this or not. She’s asked him numerous times about the scars along his body - a particularly nasty scar along his side had been a favorite of her fingers on multiple occasions. Now? Now she probably had a better idea where it came from. Silently, he holds out one of the fake plastic knives, heart pounding in the hopes that she’ll take it and let him teach her another way to defend herself.

NININMENULIS.COM – Sejak tidak lagi menjadi karyawan keinginan terbesar saya yaitu memiliki usaha sendiri. Selain masalah perbedaan behavior dalam penjualan online permasalahan lain yang mengiringi pelaku ekonomi digital yakni masalah permodalan, regulasi, promosi, dan tentu saja jaringan. Lama saya ingin mencari tahu mengenai ini semua di mana saya tinggal datang dan semua pertanyaan dari permasalah tersebut dapat terjawab dan menemukan solusinya.

Pucuk dicinta ulam tiba, begitu kata orang tua dulu mengisyaratkan keingintahuan saya yang akhirnya terjawab dengan adanya undangan dari BloggerCrony Community untuk menghadiri ajang CONNECT 2019 yang baru saja dilaksanakan selama dua hari, 30-31 Oktober 2019 lalu di Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Hall B Jakarta Pusat. CONNECT 2019 adalah sebuah ajang di mana para pelaku ekonomi digital seperti pemain e-commerce, UMKM digital, pemasar, startup, teknologi, pemerintah, badan keuangan, dan perusahaan digital berkumpul dan berkolaborasi untuk menginspirasi bisnis di era tranformasi digital.

CONNECT 2019 mengangkat tema Empowering Indonesia’s Digital Economy Through Innovation & Collaboration dan telah dihadiri lebih dari 1500 peserta untuk mendengarkan konferensi, talk show, sesi business matchmaking, dan juga pameran teknologi. Dari arena konferensi ajang yang diselenggarakan oleh Traya bekerjasama dengan Kitatama menghadirkan berbagai tokoh kunci dalam perkembangan ekonomi digital di Indonesia, investor, dan pengambil kebijakan menjadi narasumber untuk mendiskusikan masalah-masalah strategis guna melahirkan solusi dalam bisnis.

CONNECT 2019 hari pertama di tanggal 30 Oktober 2019 sebagai pembuka di area konferensi dihadirkan empat perempuan dari kementrian untuk berbicara pada sesi pertama yang bertajuk ‘Indonesia’s Digital Economy Empowerment Through Innovation and Collaboration’. Keempat wanita tersebut adalah Septriana Tangkary (Direktur Informasi dan Komunikasi Perekonomian dan Maritim, Kementrian Komunikasi dan Informatika), Iriana Trimurty Ryacudu (Direktur Pengembangan Pasar dan Informasi Ekspor, Kementrian Perdagangan), Destry Anna Sari (Asisten Deputi Pemasaran, Kementrian Koperasi dan UMKM), dan Endang Suwartini (Direktur Industri Kecil dan Menengah – Logam, mesin, Elektronika, dan Alat Angkut, Kementrian Perindustrian) dengan moderator Donny BU, Executive Direstor ICT Watch.

Keempat wanita dari kementrian memaparkan bahwa pemerintah telah mempersiapkan langkah-langkah strategis memasuki era ekonomi digital. Seperti yang dikatakan Endang Suwartini bahwa Kementerian Perindustrian menggelar e-smart IKM untuk menghadapi revolusi industry 4.0. Program e-smart ini telah memberdayakan hingga 7000 IKM di seluruh Indonesia dengan cara mengajak mereka untuk go digital dengan marketplace yang sudah ada.

Sedangkan Destry Anna Sari memaparkan strategi Kementrian Koperasi dan UKM dalam rangka ‘menaik kelaskan’ UMKM dan memoderenkan koperasi, misalnya dengan program Pasar Rakyat Tematik dengan lima kebaruan yaitu dalam hal merevitalisasi pasar, pengembangan ikon lokal, pengelolaan secara professional, konsep bisnis yang terintegrasi, dan terinegrasi secara digital. Kemudian Iriana Trimurty Ryacudu yang dalam ajang ini memaparkan strategi pengembangan ekspor Kementerian Perdagangan di era ekonomi digital dengan program unggulannya adalah Membership Service, yaitu layanan informasi online yang komprehensif yang memadukan berbagai jenis layanan pengembangan ekspor kepada pelaku usaha/eksportir yang terdaftar sebagai anggota dalam satu website.

Selain keempat wanita dari kementerian, hadir pula berbagai tokoh kunci dalam perekembangan ekonomi digital yang juga menjadi narasumber di sesi-sesi berikutnya di arena konferensi hari pertama. Mereka adalah Rama Mamuaya (CEO Daily Social), Joseph Aditya (CEO, Ralali), Muhammad AjieSantika (Co-Founder, Feedloop), Indra Gunawan (CEO, Bobobox), Rinaldi Tjhin (EVP, Sirclo), dan masih banyak lagi. Tema-tema yang didiskusikan pun sangat menarik untuk disimak bagi para pelaku ekonomi digital seperti Digital Startup Tren 2020, Why SMEs Should Expand to Digital Business, Best Practice: Embracing The Future of Digital Engagement, Maximizing Business Profit with Powerful Community, dan masih banyak lagi.

Pada hari kedua CONNECT 2019 di tanggal 31 Oktober 2019 pun sesi diskusi yang dihadirkan pun tidak kalah seru dan menarik dari hari pertama untuk disimak. Di sesi pertama hari kedua dibuka dengan diskusi bertema Synergistic Collaboration among Corporates, Starups, SMEs & Government yang menghadirkan tiga orang pembicara Hery Sofiaji (AVP Micro Development and Agent Banking Group Bank Mandiri), Joddy Hernady (EVP Digital & Next Business Telkom Group), dan Agung Bezharie (Co-Founder/CEO Warung Pintar) dengan moderator Rama Sahid, Training Director Idea Consulting.

Ada fakta mengejutkan yang membuat saya terkejut dan diungkapkan Agung Bezharie di sesi pertama ini. Agung mengungkapkan bahwa usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) yang menjadi penopang ekonomi dengan jumlah 60 juta di seluruh Indonesia namun sebagian besar masih mengalami hambatan akses baik terhadap finansial, informasi, maupun akses terhadap pasar yang lebih besar. Melalui Warung Pintar, Agung melihat peluang untuk meningkatan performa usaha mikro yang jumlahnya 90% dari UMKM melalui pembukaan akses digitalisasi.

Pemberian akses digitalisasi melalui pendirian Rumah Kreatif BUMN, Bank Mandiri dan Telkom merupakan dua BUMN yang banyak terlibat dalam program digitalisasi UMKM ini. Hery Sofiaji menyampaikan bahwa Bank Mandiri telah menyalurkan kredit lebih dari 150 triliun rupiah kepada UMKM dimana 47 triliun-nya diberikan kepada UMKM digital. Selain memberikan akses pembiayaan bagi UMKM atau startup, Bank Mandiri juga terjun dalam fintech lending dengan melakukan co-opetition atau kompetisi dalam koperasi dan fintech lain.

Senada dengan Bank Mandiri, Telkom pun termasuk BUMN yang banyak memberikan akses digital bagi UMKM dengan membangun lebih dari 50 unit Rumah Kreatif BUMN. Salah satu program Telkom seperti yang dikatakan Joddy Hernady yakni program incubator bisnis Indigo dan digital valley di empat kota di Indonesia. Melalui program inkubasi diberikan bantuan pendanaan dan akses pasar kepada para UMKM binaan.

Sesi lainnya setelah sesi pertama pun tidak kalah seru, Right Step in Starting Digital Business yang menghadirkan Ryan Gondokusumo (CEO Sribulancer), Jamalul Izza (Ketua Umum APJII), Andoko Chandra (CEO Weekend Inc), dan Juliana Cen (Small & Medium Business Lead Microsoft Indonesia), ada juga tema Online or Offline Store oleh Nelsen Liu (VP Marketing Fabelio), lalu tema yang menarik lainnya juga yaitu Tips for SMEs on Increasing Profits Through Social Media dengan Fariz Egia Gamal (Owner Mister Brewok) dan Ridho Khusnul Fadil (CEO Humblezing) sebagai pembicara, dan masih banyak sesi-sesi diskusi interaktif lainnya.

Melalui CONNECT 2019 diharapkan para UMKM di tanah air akan mampu berpartisipasi dalam era ekonomi digital. Dengan populasi 262 juta jiwa yang 54 persennya atau 143,26 juta adalah pengguna Internet, Indonesia tentu berpeluang besar menjadi negara berkekuatan ekonomi digital terbesar di ASEAN. Kenyataannya saat ini baru ada 60 juta UMKM dan hanya 10 juta usaha yang memanfaatkan teknologi digital. Ini peluang besar bagi saya atau pun kamu yang ingin memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk usaha. Let’s get digital!
