Hello! When it comes to Richard's dad-looks, nothing can be too unhinged - I came to terms with my undying love for his dad style and am not ashamed to admit to it 😌 The man should be as comfy and cuddly as possible 🙏 So off to another round of

I accumulated my fave dad looks of Richard over here, but here are some more impressions of him in his beloved Adidas pants:

First of all, I know I posted this already, but this is just my absolute favourite dad look of all time (from 2016 in Canada):

I'm not sure if he wears converse here, but he looks so so fine. 10/10 would travel again like this and the Adidas paints are on full display.

Another go-to outfit with Adidas pants and converse is the white long sleeve and shirt combo:

A rather captivating dad-combo, Richard in all black with a hint of red. Like his vampire lord-esque stage outfits, but like the relaxed, off duty vampire so to speak (again, grey and black pairs of converse):

Not only does he have different converse pairs at hand, his pants also come on different colors, for example in dark red, bright red or with green stripes. Gotta stay versatile:

As for grey hair, @notafraidofredyellowandblue got some asks concerning this I think 😊 I found this ones and I must say, I'd adore him going grey someday:

But as long as he perfomes on stage, the black hair dye will probably stay for a while 😌

What is Jiyan wearing in the thought bubble? It looks a bit like a matrjoschka.

Also what i wanted to say once is just, i really like Rovers animation in the scythe form (didnt wanted to spoil new form). Especially the ult animation, he looks so determined.

Zuerst fiel ich ja fast kurz in Ohnmacht als ich sah, daß "Kinderüberraschung" statt Überraschungs-Eiern Überraschungs-Matrjoschkas anbot. Schremsers Visionen

Der zuletzt viel zu sehr in sich gekehrte Schremser wusste ganz genau, dass eine Ablenkung dringend nötig war, auch Schrammel hatte das längst angemahnt!

Was lag da näher als ein Besuch im Programmkino unter der Woche und dem Einfluss halbwegs legal-anschiebender Mittel zur Bewusstseinserweiterung?

Genau wie gewünscht wurde es der intensiv-inspirierende Besuch dieses so magischen Off-Spaces, der auf dem Weg nach Hause noch eine unerwartete Steigerung erlebte, als der folgende Plot in Schremsers Rübe einfuhr:

Szene 1: Ein Schneesturm tobt – die Stimme aus dem Off sowie die Ton- und Bildqualität deuten auf eine TV-Doku aus den 70ern hin, in der es um ein dramatisches Ereignis zu gehen scheint. Kameraschwenk nach rechts: Ein Flachdachgebäude mit brauner Riffelblechfassade und gelben Fensterrahmen kommt ins Bild, der Zoom fährt ran …

SCHNITT.

Szene 2: Kameraflug durch ein Fenster im ersten Stock in den großen Restaurantsaal, in dem eine größere Menge verstört wirkender und teilweise verletzter Menschen sitzt, augenscheinlich westlicher Herkunft. Trotzdem nimmt die Kamera sie unerbittlich – teilweise in Form von Einzelportraits – ins Visier, untermalt von leierndem 70er-Hammond-Sound …

SCHNITT.

Szene 3: Auf der Showbühne des Saals ist das originale, braun-beige XY-Ungelöst-Studio aufgebaut. Liveschaltung vom Ort des Geschehens? Ruhe! Sendebeginn! Und tatsächlich: Auftritt Eduard Zimmermann. Der mit seiner charakteristischen, betreten-strengen Miene und monoton-sonorem Timbre von paranormalen Ereignissen berichtet. Dann nimmt er in typischer Manier seine Brille ab, hält sie mit den Fingern der rechten Hand am rechten Bügel in Bauchhöhe und neigt leicht den Kopf zur Seite. Glaubwürdigkeit und Seriösität strahlt das aus! Bei Zimmermann zusätzlich: Jetzt wirds wirklich ernst!

Doch Zimmermann moderiert sich seltsam ungewohnt in Rage, man spürt förmlich, dass hier gerade etwas aus dem Ruder läuft. Kurzer Umschnitt, die ZDF-Crew steht da wie versteinert, als Zimmermann einen Einspieler von Lars von Trier ankündigt. Selbstverständlich mit den Hinweis, dass das nun Folgende nichts für Zartbesaitete sei…

MAZ ab: Im rotgesprenkelten Schnee an einer Feuerstelle sitzt ein in einen Fellanzug dick eingepacktes Eskimo-Mädchen, im Hintergrund sind qualmende Flugzeugtrümmer mit einem hoch aus ihnen aufragenden Seitenleitwerk zu erkennen. Mund- und Kinnpartie der Kleinen sind blutverschmiert-nass … Ein zahnloser Alter in gleicher Montur gesellt sich Geld zählend zu dem Mädchen, wahrscheinlich ihr Großvater. Er spricht in fremder Sprache, Untertitel: "Sie nehmen unser Eis, also nehmen wir ihr Geld!". Die Kleine nickt. Sieht sie nur zufällig ein bisschen wie Greta Thunberg aus?

SCHNITT.

Szene 4: Plötzlich ruft eine männliche Stimme „Cut!“. Die Kamera zieht auf, ins Bild kommen Lars von Trier im Regiestuhl und seine gesamte Crew um ihn herum, sich anerkennend zunickend. Es wird klar: Alles nur ein Film! Sekunden später ein weiterer "Cut!"-Ruf – Quentin Tarrantino tritt ins Bild und klatscht mit allen ab. Langsam einsickernde Erkenntnis: Das muss gerade ein Behind the Scenes-Feature vom Film-Film-Set im End-Film gewesen sein. Sowas wie eine filmische Matrjoschka-Puppe. Und jetzt kann man es auch ganz deutlich erkennen: Lars von Trier ist Brad Pitt mit präpariertem Bart nach hyperkalorischer Diät!

So I'm watching "Matrjoschka" (english title would be Russian Doll) on Netflix Germany (it has the worst Netflix offering if you ask me compared with Netflix US or Japan...or France, Spain etc...😅) and actually it's pretty cool. Definitely not for everyone but it nailed some themes down for me. Dealing with death, facing your own mortality, metamorphosis and so on...
