Hey! This is to show what's coming next as I edit the chapters I made years ago. When I do officially make it to the last chapter I stopped at, updates will be slow since I will be back writing again but I'm excited to continue the story. If you are curious to see what's to come, here are the next set of chapters I will be working on. There are a few more chapters after this before I begin making new chapters but if you want to be surprised, go on ahead and just ignore this.

I do plan to put suggestive and smutty stuff in this. I don't think I am the best at it but it's a challenge I'm willing to accept and work hard in writing so stay tuned and bear with me! :)

Casamento Sangrento (Ready or Not-2019)

Quando o filme começa escuro, com os filtros ou luzes meio alaranjadas você já sabe que vai ser muito violento. Essa foi a primeira impressão que "Casamento Sangrento" me passou. De primeira, um filme de terror sobre casamento me causou uma curiosidade muito forte, pois essa festa sempre se trata de celebração de amor e união, o início de alguma coisa e não o fim brutal de vidas. Por isso eu embarquei nessa aventura.

O filme se passa numa mansão enorme da família Le Domas no dia do casamento de um dos seus membros. De cara nós tomamos o conhecimento que a família é antiga, muito rica e mais tradicional ainda, e que ao invés dos recém casados terem uma maravilhosa noite de núpcias, o jovem casal deverá se juntar à família inteira para uma noite de jogos como diz a tradição. Enquanto a família senta para sortear o jogo inocente que a noiva deverá jogar, há uma tensão e expectativa muito grande por parte de toda a família. Quando finalmente, nossa protagonista tira uma carta, é a única carta que ela não deveria tirar: o perigoso esconde-esconde.

Esconde-esconde é uma brincadeira infantil e inocente no nosso mundo e também no mundo de Grace, a noiva, mas para a família do seu novo marido, é uma brincadeira levada muito à sério e que pode ter sérias consequências. Enquanto ela se esconde, a família se prepara e pega vários tipos de armamentos para caçar a jovem, ela deve está morta até o amanhecer se não, segundo a tradição e as lendas, a família inteira vai acabar morta.

"Casamento Sangrento" é um filme divertido de várias maneiras, ele tem toda aquela tensão de tirar o fôlego de filmes de terror desse gênero, tem aquele escape cômico em vários momentos e violência (muita violência) gratuita. O mais engraçado, é que diferente da maioria dos filmes de terror, a protagonista é muito inteligente e não nos decepciona como em outras histórias. São poucos momentos que ela faz algo que a gente não faria na teoria, mas mesmo assim, provavelmente fariamos sim no desespero.

A fotografia e a iluminação dessa peça cinematográfica não deixa a desejar, a atmosfera escura com luzes alaranjadas e fundo verde nos trás aquela sensação gostosa que a qualquer momento algo vai dar muito errado. A fotografia nos dá aquela sensação de que vamos morrer sufocados logo e que nos fazem suplicar por algum alívio. E o mais gostoso é que não conhecemos a família Le Domas o suficiente, fica muito mais fácil sentir prazer enquanto eles morrem um a um no seu próprio jogo doentio ao mesmo tempo torcemos para a personagem principal ficar bem.

É divertido brincar com todas aquelas conspirações sobre gente "de nome", que são ricos a mais tempo que podemos contar, serem doentias ao ponto de caçar humanos ou terem feito pacto com satanás. Existem muitos filmes que trazem essa ideia de que rico entediado faz atrocidades, como na série Round 6, que quem patrocina e assiste aqueles jogos mortais, são na verdade gente multimilionária, ou quem sabe, bi ou trilionária simplesmente para seu divertimento e lazer.

Ao final do filme, nos é mostrado o quanto tradições as vezes podem ser prejudiciais e até onde as pessoas poderiam ir por dinheiro. Provavelmente não é literal, mas eu não colocaria a mão no fogo por gente "old money", e depois desse filme, também não me disporia a casar com um deles, o trauma ficou. Apesar de Grace precisar de uns bons anos de terapia e um bom banho no final do filme, a parte boa é que ela não vai ter que nunca mais passar a noite ao lado dessa família.

The Marlins At A Glance- The Marlins are in the middle of a rough season and Skip Schumaker won't be back. The team announced that they would not extend this contract beyond this season. The Marlins will exceed 100 losses for the first time since 2019. The team traded Luis Arraez away early and sent some bullpen arms to other teams at the trade deadline. Jazz Chisholm was also traded to the Yankees. Jake Burger leads the offense with twenty-eight homers and sixty-nine RBI. Xavier Edwards has played well with a .311 average through sixty-four games. The team consists of a lot of young guys, who are getting their chance. Griffin Conine is hitting .238 and is the son of longtime MLB player Jeff Conine. The Marlins starting rotation has a 5.35 ERA, which is second-worst in baseball behind the Rockies. The Twins will see Ryan Weathers on Tuesday, who is a big pitching prospect of theirs. The bullpen is a little better with a 4.27 ERA. JT Chargois is on the Mariners now, Tanner Scott and Bryan Hoeing were traded to the Padres, AJ Puk was traded to the Diamondbacks, and Trevor Rogers is on the Orioles now. Calvin Faucher is the closer with six saves.

The Twins At A Glance- The Twins can only blame themselves for their demise. They didn't get depth during the trade deadline and injuries to Joe Ryan, Chris Paddack, and Brock Stewart have piled up. The Twins are (11-22) in their past thirty-three games and are lucky that the Royals are on another seven-game losing streak or else they would be out of the American League Wild-Card race. They sit a game behind the Tigers for the final playoff spot. Kyle Farmer has been the hottest hitter with a .395 average in September. Carlos Correa has knocked in five runs since his return. Matt Wallner has three homers and ten RBI this month. Max Kepler took live batting practice on Monday and it's unknown on if he'll be back. He didn't play in any rehab assignment games for the Saints and now their season is over. The pitching has been decent at times, but do not get enough run support. Scott Blewett has allowed just two runs over 16 2/3 innings of work since his call-up. He finally received a higher leverage inning in the extra inning game on Friday night. I'd expect Griffin Jax and Jhoan Duran to be used heavliy in this series given that they've had three days off.

What To Watch For- The Twins are (10-9) all-time against the Marlins. The Marlins took two of three games from the Twins early in the 2023 season at loanDepot Park. The Twins won the prior series in 2019, which was also in Miami. The Marlins haven't been to Minnesota since 2016, when they lost two out of three games. None of the six scheduled starters have faced their opponent before. The Tigers get three with the Rays this week and the Royals get three against the Nationals in DC this week. The Twins need to win and get a little help to stay in this Wild-Card race.
