Why Mauritius Resorts Are So Popular
With its beautiful beaches, clear waters, and lush green scenery, Mauritius is a place that embodies natural beauty. Mauritius's high-end resorts are more than just places to stay; they're adventures in and of themselves. Private villas with plunge pools and spa treatments based on ancient practices make these places the most luxurious in the world. But what makes the best places in Mauritius really stand out?
Taking the cover off the ultimate in luxury
One thing that makes the best Mauritius beaches stand out is that they are in the most beautiful places. These villas are located on the island's coast and have rooms with views of the ocean, private access to the beach, and even stilts that are above the water. Every morning and sunset is a show right outside your door.
Things that are world-class
It's impossible to be poor in Mauritius. The best motels on the island have a wide range of services to meet all of your needs. The resort has a lot to offer, like an 18-hole championship golf course, a spa, and delicious restaurants. The resort is just as interesting to be inside as it is to be outside.
Wonderful Dining Experiences
Mauritius is a place where many different countries come together, and the food there shows this. The best resorts in Mauritius make the most of this rich culinary history, giving their guests an unforgettable culinary trip. The food choices are as varied as the island itself, ranging from Creole tastes to fine dining from around the world.

Mauritius has great spas, and no high-class vacation is complete without a visit to one. Some of the most luxurious leisure centres in the world can be found in the island's resorts. These centres combine old healing methods with new ways of relaxing. Take a massage by the water and see why Mauritius is known as the island of rest and relaxation.
Things to Do Besides the Resorts
There are lots of things to do and see at the best resorts in Mauritius, but the island itself is a treasure trove just ready to be discovered. Adventures abound for those who look for them, from hiking through lush jungles to swimming in clear waterfalls.
Tumblr media
Meet People from Other Cultures

Get out of your resort to enjoy the lively local markets, interesting historical places, and friendly Mauritian people. It's a valuable experience that makes your luxury vacation more interesting.
Long-Term Luxury
The best resorts in Mauritius know how important it is to protect the island's natural beauty, which is one of the main reasons people visit. Many of these resorts are dedicated to doing things that are good for the environment and people. For example, they work to lower their carbon output and protect marine life and local communities. If you stay at one of these eco-friendly places, you can enjoy comfort without feeling bad about it.
Making Your Pick
There are so many places in Mauritius that picking one can be fun. Think about what parts of wealth are most important to you. Does it have to do with the setting, the services, or the food? You should take your time to find the place that fits your idea of a perfect vacation.
How to Book Your Paradise
Once you've made up your mind, booking a stay at a top Mauritius resort is the first step toward an unforgettable day. From the time you arrive on this beautiful island until the day you have to leave, you'll be immersed in a world of elegance and natural beauty that is only found in Mauritius.
In conclusion, resorts in Mauritius are the height of luxury tourism. Their beautiful surroundings, high-end amenities, and dedication to eco-friendly practices make for an unforgettable experience. The humble Mauritian seaside village that now lures the mega-wealthy
The humble Mauritian seaside village that now lures the mega-wealthy
As the country’s birthplace of tourism, Grand Baie was always regarded as the St Tropez of Mauritius. When Sunset Boulevard was built on the waterfront in the 1990s, there was nothing else like it on the island. In its heyday, the streets buzzed with Mini Mokes (a new trend then), Suzuki four-wheel drives and bicycles, and visitors included everyone from Princess Stephanie of Monaco to…

DANNY ROLPH : Learning the Language
Tumblr media
DANNY ROLPH
Danny Rolph is back with another stunning silkscreen to complete his tropical trio of prints launched last year. Taking inspiration from his travels and memories of Mauritius, 'Encompass' joins 'Encounter' and 'Endeavour' and is available in an edition size of 30 prints. Launched at this years London Original Print Fair, all three of his editions are now available to purchase on our website. On Sunday 6th May we were lucky to be joined by the artist who gave an in depth talk about his work.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Encompass 2018 Silkscreen Edition Size 30 Image size: 700 x 985mm Paper size: 725 x 1010mm
BUY HERE
Rolph is careful and deliberate with his choice of colours. The blended pink and yellow background represents the exotic Mauritian sunrises, with the black gesturing to a topographical map of the island. The five elements in vibrant yellow, pink, pale turquoise, silver and white, echo the shapes he drew on the island; with pink, yellow and white mirroring the ground and a sudden slice of silver bringing the eye back into the composition. A gentle wisp of pale turquoise billows across the top like a silk scarf or a tropical bird lightly 'kissing' the dominant shape.
'Encompass' completes the trio perfectly, complimenting his previously considered compositions and choice of layered textures and glazes in 'Encounter' and 'Endeavour'. Rolph considers this print a summary of his time and experiences spent on the island.
Acknowledged globally for his multi-layered, colourful paintings, Danny's seemingly chaotic work reflects the dynamism of his surroundings. He is inspired by the cities of London, New York and Rome as well as the deserts of West Texas and the Indian Ocean, whose sunsets appear as a recurring motif in the background of his work. His colour choices are instinctive and deliberate and echo the environment around him. The artist continually questions surface tension and spatial relations via the mediums of Triplewall plastic and canvas surfaces, embracing doubt and discovery within the creative process.
Tumblr media
Endeavour 2018 Silkscreen Edition Size 30 Image size: 700 x 985mm Paper size: 725 x 1010mm
BUY HERE
Following on from ‘Encounter’, Rolph's second silkscreen print explores the printing process further, finding particular enjoyment in the use of finishes and glazes. Originally intended to be grey, the silver additions to the left and right of the print add depth and a new dimension to the colourful base, while the vivid pink at the bottom is broken up by a single line of glaze enhancing the multi-layered effect Rolph is best known for.
Tumblr media
Encounter 2018 Silkscreen Edition Size 15 Image size: 700 x 985mm Paper size: 725 x 1010mm
BUY HERE
Usually finding inspiration in philosophy, poetry and history, Rolph wanted to produce a print that related to his current interests in the studio. Having only produced one silkscreen edition before, Rolph saw creating this edition as an opportunity to allow him time to investigate the process further, which he found informative and exhilarating in equal measure.
“Recently I swam in the Indian Ocean and encountered colours, animals and geology I had only previously seen on TV. The experience of being in such a stimulating, other worldly environment influenced my choices quite strikingly in ‘Encounter’. The objective in using these particular shapes, forms and colours was to communicate the experience I had in nature and to expand my visual vocabulary in a new direction.” - Danny Rolph
