#i feel like I posted this already but I also can't find it in any recent posts so...#......he #cats #EVEN if I did post it.. why not poast himb again? it's he #I'm like halfway through actually editing aforementioned costumes and stuff and i WANT to work on sculptures again and I have video #s and that worldbuilding slideshow and all of these things so hopefully like.. more usual stuff soon maybe.. to be posted #for now though yeah.. just cats #The end of the year is also when I panic about the passage of time and how little I've gotten done and how I will never actually be a #sucessful game maker slash author slash cat cafe owner slash set designer slash costume designer slash psychologist #who lives in like Scotland or somehting and also owns my own candle company or something ghbjhb #and will probably just be a mentally ill hermit recluse all my life who dies early of mysterious health issues with 5000 projects left #undone and blah blah the crushing weight of chronic illness and capitalism and so on and so forth #So then I scramble to get projects done to try and meet some goals but usually that means I scatter between projects #so it takes longer to finish all of them. Like instead of dedicating 8 hours to one thing and finishing it one sitting. I'll do 2 hours on #this then 2 hours on that then 2 hours on another things. so they all get done slower even though I'm still technically making progress on #them all. This is also a very poo poo pee pee stink brain way to work and is not like. the most efficent thing but it's just how my brain #organizes tasks sometimes lol #***#(<ignore this its part of an OCD compulsion lol. anytime you see me type three asterisks I'm not bleeping out a curse word #it's just a Special Secret Foolish Thing I Have To Do At Specific Uncontrolable Times When Brain Says So gbjhhj)#ANYWAY... eeeee #Still haven't resolved my mystery chest injury though so being at te computer for too long is also kind of achey-inducing #Better get over it though because I have like 30+ hours of slideshow vidoe to edit hahaha hee hee hoo!!!!!

hey all. it's been a while. life has been not... bad per se, but I certainly haven't had the energy to keep up with this blog in quite some time. I'm closing submissions for now, and gonna try to queue up the whole of what has previously been submitted.

i'll let you know at the end of all that if i'm gonna continue at all. if I decide to abandon this blog, I do intend to keep it up as a resource and will not delete it.

I wanna thank @wakebymoonsleepbysun and @macaroniat3am for stopping by and hanging out with Artem and me for a little while ^^ thebookowal stopped by for a bit too but sadly the page was too laggy for them.

Anyway! here are some of the things I drew while I was on last night!

Drew the Stupendibird, The Stupendium's SB oc/self-insert. I love them very much and just felt like drawing them lol.

Also I saw Wakey draw a tiny little DJMM on the board so I drew some doodles with that concept as well :D

i love your coloring style so much!!! is this digital watercolors or are these scanned?

physical watercolor since day one baybeeee

Started that way bc i used to be worse at digital art than i was bad at splooshing watercolors on paper but i'm keeping it that way bc it's still easier / more fun this way and i like to keep like, the final product in physical form as much as possible. Even if i could do it all digitally or even just scan linework and get digital colouring done better & faster, i think i'd rather keep those in sketchbooks that i can flip thru

#also thanks a lot for liking it ahwahwahwa #bla bla bla #also i do coloring streams for them sometimes with a low quality camera #i havent really been lately but i'll mention it again if i can get back to it in a regular fashion maybe #i do need to get back to i t bc it's a good way of trying to get myself to do the coloring #and the amount of uncolored comics backlog is probably back to 200 at this point

I feel like over the month+, I have like 1-2 hours a day max where I feel relatively awake, and every other hour I'm fighting bone-deep exhaustion. I'll bring it up with my doc at my check up on monday, but tbh i know the solution so idk if she can help

And I can work-work when I feel half-dead, or rather I force myself to because I don't want my cats to starve, but when it comes to creative stuff, it's like my mind is slippery sludge dribbling out my eyes...

The Solution, of course: just stop working 3~10 AM every day (and then taking a short nap, working during the day, and then taking another short nap, hours vary but repeat), and maybe get at least 6, ideally 8 uninterrupted hours of sleep at least every other day, ideally every day.

But do I see that happening? No.

Like rn I know I desperately need to edit fic and reply to comments and do several arts but I'm nodding off at my desk after boss DMing me work at 5 AM and dealing with repair people since 8:30 AM...

#YukiPri rambles #yeah the next fic chapter is long done #i just need to edit and reply to comments but that's like #5 hours at least of concentration and i feel more vegetable than sentient human #coffee just makes me sleepier #my hyper irregular sleep hours (i never sleep the same hours 2 days in a row...) means that even when i DO have time to sleep #i wake up/it's not restful #i've tried melatonin and sometimes it works but more often it gives me hyper vivid pseudo-dreams #stuff like i'm in my dream i hear my alarm go off i turn my alarm off while remaining in my dream etc it's dangerous #all of this also of course means i rarely have time to do my minimal exercise of a daily walk #and i'm lucky if i eat one full meal a day #it's like being in a perpetual state of awful jetlag #i feel like my body is not synched to earth and it sucks #do you think this is what inter-planetary jetlag is like bc that must suck worse than just timezones on the same planet #that at least has a consistent rotation u feel #hmm what was this post about again #lol disaster #anyway i think i'll take a 1-2 hour nap now so maybe i can do some fic editing when i get up #see i'm repeating the cycle again
