NEET UG 2024: New Tie-Breaking Rules
This year, NTA is implementing updated tie-breaking criteria for NEET 2024: Old Rule: Previously, tie-breaking considered scores in biology, chemistry, and physics sequentially. If a tie remained, negative marks were factored in, followed by age, with the older candidate receiving the higher rank. New Rule: Now, tie-breaking prioritizes higher marks in Biology, then Chemistry, and finally Physics. If a tie persists, eligible candidates will be selected through a computer-generated draw without human intervention. Difference Between NEET 2024 Qualifying Cut Off and Admission Cut Off
It's important for NEET candidates to understand that the NEET cut off marks for qualifying and admission are distinct. The NEET Qualifying Cut Off represents the minimum marks needed to qualify for the exam. Meeting this threshold makes candidates eligible for state and central counseling processes for admission to medical colleges. The NEET qualifying percentile is set by the NTA. On the other hand, the NEET Admission Cut Off signifies the minimum marks or scores required for admission into MBBS or BDS courses at specific medical or dental colleges in India. This cut off is determined by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and state authorities.

Top 10 Courses after Science
Top 10 Courses after Science
Students have many options for navigating their careers once they have completed the 10+2 in science. Career possibilities are one thing that both sets of aspirants (those who do not want to pursue engineering or medicine and those who want) still have in common. After receiving a 12th-grade science diploma, PCM offers various high-paying courses. Yet, due to inadequate advice and understanding, students often choose the incorrect careers.
Medicine/MBBS
18.72 lakh students participated in NEET 2022, which is administered by the National Testing Agency and is regarded as the entry point for admission to the MBBS program and other medical programs. 8.70 lakh of the students who showed up for the exam passed. These figures demonstrate the degree of rivalry as well as the students' enthusiasm for medical studies. Only the finest of the best pass the exam and are allowed to enrol in medical schools.
Engineering
The most sought-after courses are Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology (BE/B.Tech), not just in India but throughout the world. Depending on the nation, a B.E./B. Tech courses might run anywhere from three to five years. It is a 4-year program in India that consists of 8 semesters and a project in the last year.
Few years ago, students may pick from the fundamental four engineering specializations: mechanical, electronics and communication, computer science, and engineering science. Nonetheless, engineering has been divided into some branches and sub-branches as a result of the development of science and modern technology. The fields of computer and electronic engineering are currently quite popular.
BBA
This course is fairly well-liked because the majority of BBA graduates either finish their studies or plan to pursue an MBA after graduation. Contrary to popular belief, a student pursuing a BBA is not needed to pursue an MBA. After the intermediate test, a three-year BBA program is available.
After finishing science in their intermediate, students who want to start their firm or who have the aptitude for further business studies should enroll in a BBA program. Among the courses taught to BBA students include finance and accounting, marketing, organizational behavior, statistics, and business economics.
LLB (Bachelor of Law)
The three-year LLB program is intended to direct students toward a career in law. LLB is the program that prepares students who want to practice law for careers as attorneys. While many students in the arts and sciences choose to pursue law, those in the sciences can also do so. This is mostly because law schools want candidates with strong analytical abilities and remarkable logical thinking.
Several institutions offer BA LLB or even BBA LLB programs, both of which last five years in total. The course is governed by the Bar Council of India or BCI. Each student majoring in law should thus confirm that their college has received BCI approval.
Bachelor in Statistics
The B.Stat, or Bachelor of Statistics, is built on a foundation of statistics, mathematics, and certain computer applications. Several universities offer this three-year program.
The top college in India to study statistics is the Indian Institute of Statistics. Students who want to major in statistics study the application, methodology, and theory of statistics at the well-regarded college, which offers placement opportunities in both the private and public sectors. Business statistics, probability, applied mathematics, psychological indices, actuarial science, and other topics are included in the course curriculum.
Bachelor in Computer Application
The BCA Course is a course that examines computer science and its applications. The majority of Indian institutions and private colleges offer this three-year program. Advanced programming, the web, hardware & networking, mathematics, DC, C++, data structures, database management, and software engineering are among the topics covered in the BCA curriculum.
Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management
The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) and the Institute of Hotel Management administer the admission tests (IHM) offers this course. With the expansion of the hospitality business over the past several decades, hotel management has reached its current level of prominence.
B.Sc in IT and Software
In the discipline of information technology, there is a B.Sc. IT curriculum. Students in this three-year degree are primarily taught how to secure, manage, process, preserve, and retrieve information. The curriculum covers a variety of topics, including networking, computer principles, software development, operating systems, testing, information databases, web programming, quality assurance, etc.
B.Pharma
It is a four-year study that instructs students on methodology, the chemical and organic makeup of medicines, as well as the therapeutic effects of such medications on the human body. For people who want to become pharmacists or work for pharmaceutical companies, this course is crucial.
Bachelor of Architecture
The integrated five-year program's goal is to prepare students to sit for the architect licensing exam. Such architects are employed by both public and private businesses to develop, plan, and prepare utility areas, buildings, and roadways.

India's shortage of doctors is a harsh reality
The National Medical Commission Bill has been heralded as a watershed moment that will significantly advance the state of medicine in India. National exit test latest news is the National Exit Test will be mandatory for students who graduated from MCI/NMC approved medical colleges abroad also.
Our nation falls well short of the WHO requirement of 1000 doctors per 1000 people. Only one of of India's eleven states adhere to the WHO standard, and no healthcare organisations do.
In addition to a severe doctor shortage, India's health care system is also struggling with ineffective human resources and subpar infrastructure. India has had a large number of fatalities over the past few years as a result of a lack of medical professionals, particularly doctors in government institutions.
Only 9.26 lakh doctors may be actively accessible for service, assuming 80% of the doctors registered with the Board of Governors/State Medical Councils/Medical Council are available. Since some doctors may retire, move into hospital management, or move abroad without having their names removed from the record, the correct data is never a match.
With over 1974 primary healthcare facilities operating without even a single doctor, the nation urgently needs at least 3000 doctors. With approximately 5000 surgeons needed, there is a significant shortage in community health facilities in rural areas.
In India, there are 15,700 basic health centres that only have one physician on staff. The predicted 600,000-doctor shortfall in India is expected to be resolved by 2022 if there is an increase in the number of beds available in hospitals.
Differences in the ratio between states
The WHO recommends one doctor for every 1000 inhabitants, although states like Kerala, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Delhi, Punjab, and Goa have more doctors than that. Despite this, the rural public health system lacks enough physicians. In the state of Tamilnadu, there are 4 doctors per 1000 residents. In Goa and Punjab, it is 1.3, 1.5 in Kerala and Karnataka, and 3 in Delhi.
The majority of doctors from these states are wary of migrating to areas like Bihar or UP where there is a dire need for medical professionals. There is only one doctor for every 8000 or more people in Jharkhand, and per 6000 or more people in Haryana. There is just 1 doctor for every 3000+ people in states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
According to a study that was published in the Indian Journal of Public Health, India will require 2.07 million more doctors by 2030 in order to reach the 1:1000 ratio. Our government has set aside just 1.3% of the GDP for this, compared to the global average of 6% for public healthcare. More people can wind up paying high prices in private hospitals as a result of the lack of government doctors.
Are we capable of managing the COVID-19 crisis?
The first step in the fight against coronavirus is to maintain the ratio of doctors to the 1.36 billion people in the world's population. Addressing the imbalance between supply and demand for healthcare infrastructure is urgently needed. In order to stop the infection from spreading, most hospitals have strict shift policies for their medical staff. Nearly every other day, new reports surface of doctors quarantining themselves after getting the illness.

WHAT IS MBBS?

The concept of moving abroad for education is adopted extensively. Every year, students embark on learning journeys that transform their lives by travelling across continents, oceans, and nations. Even after facing significant challenges, the benefits are tremendous. Studying abroad exposes students to various ethnicities, values and traditions, climatic conditions, languages, and other opportunities that benefit their professional prospects. One of the popular courses for which many students relocate is MBBS abroad.
WHAT IS MBBS?
An undergraduate medical degree known as the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is pursued to become a doctor. The model for medical education which Indian universities, along with many other universities around the world, follow was created by the United Kingdom. MBBS, The only degree that authorizes graduates to use the title "doctor" before their names. A standard MBA program takes 5 to 6 years, depending on the institute's curriculum, specialization and fieldwork. The curriculum is divided between 1 year of fieldwork and 4.5 years of academic study. MBBS in abroad for Indian students at a low cost is a fantastic opportunity for a trouble-free and secure future.
STUDY MBBS IN ABROAD – INDIAN STUDENTS
In a 2022 study conducted by National Medical Commission (NMC/MCI), it is seen that the NEET applicants exceed the collective seats available at private and public colleges in India. Until now, students with a low cut-off had no alternative but to enrol in private schools at a significant expense; however, today, these students can sign up for MBBS from Abroad and profit from international universities. With simple admission procedures and a decent NEET result, students can efficiently complete their MBBS from Abroad. Many MBBS abroad consultants, like abroad education, assist students in finding an abroad university that is right for them.

NExT (National Exit Test)
Overview of NExT
The National Medical Commission law of 2019 included the National exit exam for MBBS as a provision.
The National Exit Program for MBBS Certification is known as NExT. The National Board of Examinations will administer it. The NEET-PG test and the MCI screening exam will be replaced by the NExT 2023 exam, a single-window entrance examination (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination). NExT will be used starting in 2023.
Both Indian and international medical graduates must take the NExT exam. Students who pass the MBBS NExT test will be eligible to begin their internship. The government and private medical colleges in India will assign PG (MD/MS/DNB/Diploma) seats based on the results (ranks) of the NExT exams. The goal of NExT tests is to evaluate the knowledge and abilities of final-year medical students. A uniform single-window exit test for final-year degrees, medical licence practise, and medical postgraduate admission was the goal. It will make medical education more uniform. The major objective is to create capable physicians. Additionally, it will assess the final-year MBBS students' conceptual comprehension and problem-solving abilities.
 The NEET 2023 Mission Statement
The improvement of the Indian Medical Health System is the primary goal of the NExT exam for MBBS. All pupils in the nation will take a "standardised exam" to achieve this goal. This accomplishes the government's goal of removing unqualified students from the FMGE and NEET PG examinations. All three goals are anticipated to be successfully achieved by NExT 2023.
NEET Exam Eligibility Requirements for 2023
A candidate must have completed the 10+2 programme, or an equivalent, with core courses in biology, biotechnology, physics, chemistry, and english from an accredited board.
Students may also apply for NEET classes if they will be taking the Class 12 exam in 2022.
The applicant's age must be less than 17 on or before December 31 of the admissions year.
No choice has been made regarding the maximum age. Any candidate may submit an application for NExT 2023.
For each category, a different percentage of students in class 12 are eligible for NExT. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology aggregates are used to derive the percentage.
The number of times you can take the NEET test is not capped.
Any student, regardless of nationality, is eligible to apply for the NExT tests. The NExT exit test is open to Indian nationals as well as OCIs, NRIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals.
