name: jun hu age: 27 LI: ethan your average chinese-american guy who pursued medicine because of his own interests and what his parents instilled in him. looking after his younger sister and defending her decision to pursue music from his parents showed him the importance of empathy, which now informs his approach to medicine.

name: jun vance age: 28 LI: bryce in an alternate universe where my ilb mc becomes the open heart mc! highly self-assured and independent, she’s not afraid of confrontation and handling challenges or problems (she regularly confronts ethan about his contradictions and entitled attitude). maybe that’s why she and bryce get along so well 😌

name: evelyn liu age: 27 LI: aurora (i’m revising history - she and jackie are very much in love) from a family of doctors (and other coveted, chinese immigrant-approved jobs) who all attended prestigious universities, evelyn struggled with her decision to pursue medicine because of impostor syndrome. she and aurora bonded and grew close because of their similarities -- maybe even closer one day…? 😳👉👈
