Precertification Specialist / Scheduler (Glenwood Springs Office)

This is a 40/hr per week, full-time position with full benefits. Mon-Friday, days. To assist in scheduling patient encounters for all clinical service departments using Meditech Scheduling and B/AR module. To act as liaison between Hospital departments to effectively coordinate scheduling of tests and procedures. Responsible for pre-authorization function to assure accurate and timely payor information and fiscal responsibility.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Accurately schedules appointments, choosing appropriate appointment types, and correct data entry. Professional & responsive communication with physicians, patients, and departments. Mammo – interviews & schedules patients using: symptoms/screening, Insurance/Komen or other Grants, implants, & requests for previous films. Assist Breast Liaison with follow-up. Keeps current on all grant criteria & requirements. Produces day end reports & distributes. Includes reviewing scanned orders, correct procedure vs. actual order, and ABN if needed has been processed & distributed accordingly. Works with other PFS staff to ensure fiscal management of appointments. Stays current on Medicare & insurance requirements, ensuring ABN’s & insurance waivers & pre-certs are completed & communicated to patient & scanned. Understands and complies with all Hospital, patient confidentiality, ABN’s and insurance waivers. Participates in trainings & staff meetings. Reads daily summary reports & emails to be aware of changes. Fiscal responsibility including reviewing and completing ABN’s, Insurance authorizations/waivers, and ensuring completed precertification as needed. Schedules and pre-certifies all Physical Therapy patients-at all AVH locations. Reviews and monitors CAP requirements and ABN’s for Medicare patients. Pre-certify and/or check for MCR ABN on all patients with scheduled lab tests-at all AVH locations. As above does all pre-certification, insurance authorizations and waivers, required ABN’s and CAPS. Participates in required training for compliance related activities (HIPAA, Compliance, Patient Safety, TJC, etc.) UNIT SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES / DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS Utilizes computerized scheduling and B/AR modules to maximize benefit for AVH and customers. Adapts software to meet needs. Provides assistance to other departments as needed. When My Chemical Romance visited South America with their world tour last February and we learned that Chile and Argentina were included in the tour, we perfectly understood that thousands of fans would fulfill their dream of seeing their favorite band live, however, not all of them could attend the event, and for that reason, when we found out that the CD+DVD The Black Parade is Dead! would be arriving in record stores on July 5th, we got our act together and got ex-clusive tickets for the launch. Yes, just as you read it, we will invite you to the premiere of My Chemical's new material…, but first things first, you should first know what all the musical fuss is about.

Why not miss The Black Parade is Dead!

To begin with, this is the second live DVD in the career of the quintet from New Jersey, which began its history in the winter of 2001. The first was Life on the Murder Scene and was released in 2006.

The dual-format material includes completely live images and sounds, and compiles two concerts from The Black Parade World Tour, but they are two completely different concerts from each other.

The boys performed on October 24, 2007 at Maxwell's Club in Hoboken, New Jersey, in front of about 200 people.

The DVD was directed by Adam Rothlein, an expert in the field, who had already worked on DVDs for Green Day, System of a Down, All-American Rejects and Disturbed.

As this is a limited and collectible edition, edited especially for fans, the material comes in a digipack (cardboard box with two compartments, one for each disc) and includes a booklet.

20 pages with exclusive photos from both concerts.

The second envelope of the packaging includes a sheet printed on both sides, with thanks from the group and photos of the merchandising available online.

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE

Following their 2 million-selling 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge', the boys are now presenting their third album. The main character of the new album, which they recorded in 2006 with producer Rob Cavallo (Goo Goo Dolls, Alanis Morissette), is someone called 'The Patient', vocalist Gerard Way's strongest memory of his childhood. It's about the day his dad took him to a parade, hence the name of their first single, "Welcome to the Black Parade." This material is the group's most commercial, with a punk style similar to Green Day's. However, in songs like "The Sharpest Lives" and "House of Wolves" they retain the dark style that characterizes them. Good!

Influences: Besides the fact that they like watching horror movies, they listen to Queen, The Smiths/Morrissey, The Cure, Iron Maiden and The Misfits.

The group's name comes from a book written by Irvine Welsh, titled 'Ecstasy: Three Tales of Chemical Romance'.

The band was formed when Gerard Way called his high school friend Matt Pelissier in 2002 to form a new musical group.
