Genuinely don’t remember if I posted this before but I did some esmp mlp designs a while ago because I think I saw some and thought they were cute? Anyways I'm hitting visual art block because I’m in a writing rut and my brain won’t leave so I thought I’d show these in the meantime

I have notes on what other emperors should be so maybe someday I’ll doodle those because this was fun lol idk

I'm actually a huge MLP nerd, so, to say that I *adore* @cherrifire's Third Life x MLP/ MCLP AU is an understatement lol. (THE DESIGNS ARE ALL AMAZING AND WONDERFUL AND BOUNCY AND IT MAKES ME WANNA WATCH MLP ALL OVER AGAIN)

I especially love Pearl and Scott as Luna and Celestia based figures!!(That is an insanely good idea Cherri, I've never seen more perfect characterization for them)

Anyway, I was ruminating on the idea of Nightmare Pearl (or Scarlet Moon?) Couldn't get it out of my head, so I made a bit of a fan design for what she looks like in my brain!

She's not insane, just a little silly :)

(Her face markings look a bit like tears, but are also supposed to resemble the scar 5am Pearl has. Also, instead of the mist hair Nightmare Moon has I tried to go for something that looked more like blood.)

(Last note but the mane and tail on the original design is so pretty Cherrifire is amazing at stylizing hair)

Sooo I made a design for every hermit- and some others- but didnt end up finishing all of them cus i lost motivation. I will be posting the completed Hermits individually in small groups over the next few err weeks?

This year is probably my most fruitful in a while! For a long time all my art was school related, but not anymore! I had a blast creating this year and hope I can continue this trend through 2024 :)

I saw your mlp art for empire smp it was amazing I love how they have multicolored fur because a lot of pony aus I’ve seen makes there fur skin color and I think it’s cool that you did it like cannon anyway I’ve got head cannons

gem is a unicorn that goes to celestias school for gifted unicorns or she can be a dragon the ruler of the dragons and as a result fwhip would be a dragon to he loves to use his fire breath and stay in his cave

Jimmy and Lizzie are either hippogriffs or Alicorns I like alicorns more because they could have responsibilities like the princesses so lizzie is responsible for controlling the tide and underwater ecosystems and jimmy maybe controls the water cycle and land water

Joels a crystal earth pony and can be the ruler of the crystal empire but instead of being in a snowy land scape they are in the desert

Ah thank you so much!! I don't think I've seen many mcyt art beside the few i've reblogged because most of them have unique coat colours that arent skin like. But I'm glad u like my designs! I might do more some time I have notes for some of the other s1 emperors I just didn't get around to doing :]

Anyways I LOVE the ideas you've left here. I adore the idea for the seablings even if it doesn't match up with my thoughts, the idea of giving them reign over tides n stuff is FANTASTIC <33

ALSO CRYSTAL EARTH PONEY JOEL IS ON POINT that slaps so hard, would be a terror to draw but ahh the temptation is real

Mumbo: He seems.. to be a vampire bat alicorn?? Sometimes he forgets the horn or the wings though.. And hes not got a cutiemark. Oh, hes a changeling- unreformed, he missed the memo, but dont worry hes not hurting anyone- but he has a really poor understanding on pony species and what goes with what, and he aaalways forgets what he was presenting as- not to mention a cutiemark. Whats your talent mumbo? "oh! eer i forgot?" The variety of species on the server confuse him, which ones are meant to have marks and which arent??? Every other hermit knows what he is- they just dont mind, or think hes doing an elaborate bit.

Scar and Jellie: Hes part Siren, however... he did not get the flight ability. Thats okay though, Jellie always has a place to sit.

Cub: Also part siren! Though hes got more pony parts. Despite this, siren genes mean he never got a cutiemark.

Grian: A hippogriff!
