something about how arthur pendragon is represented by two colors: red and gold. his hair is golden his skin is tan his crown made of gold. how merlin says his magic is all for arthur and his eyes turn golden too. how arthur's flag and heart are red, how his love is fervent. how merlin is always either wearing a pendragon red neckerchief or tunic, being enveloped by it, him, both literally and figuratively.

The stars tell us of a great king. They rise, the pole star will ascend the heavens with the constellations of the king's namesake upon the higher cycles of the Earth, foretelling his rise and the golden age that he will bring. His age will go on and on and reach its peak in the far future when the pole star comes to occupy the truest central position in the heavens.

Merlin: hey
Arthur: *internally* okay, okay. Be cool. Say something cool, or smart! No, you're not smart, you'll just sound stupid. You're the King, be cool.
Arthur: sup
Arthur: *internally* sup?you've never said sup in your entire life! This isn't cool, this is a disaster!!!
Arthur: I mean... Hey
Merlin: *smiles*
Arthur: *internally* oh yes, I'm dead

My favorite arthurian movies (part 1/3)
More details (and youtube links for the less known movies) under cut. Some of these I love, some are so bad so good, some are beautifully epic, some are just funny.
Knights of the Round Table (1953): Visually beautiful, epic-like, interesting Morgana and Mordred. Lovely Guinevere. Focused mainly on Lancelot.
The Sword in the Stone (1963): Classic Disney movie, heart warming, still funny moments nowadays.
Sword of Lancelot (1963) (youtube): Visually beautiful romance story between Guinevere and Lancelot, one of my favorite Mordred ever too.
Camelot (1967): Musical movie version of the Broadway musical. Beautiful visually, heart-breaking story, great acting, one of my favorite arthurian movies. Focused on Guinevere, Lancelot and Arthur and the tragedy of it.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975): The best arthurian movie ever created. Parody of the quest for the Holy Grail.
Excalibur (1981): A classic epic arthurian movie. Focuses on Arthur and then moves its focus on Merlin and Morgana. Beautiful fighting scenes and Camlann scenes.
Camelot (1982) (youtube): Camelot musical but this time filmed from the stage, so it has some extra scenes.
Morte d'Arthur (1984) (youtube): Lesser known Jeremy Brett movie focusing on Arthur's last years, on Guinevere's escape and return and on Mordred's betrayal. Narrated like a play, with narration over filmed scenes instead of dialogue.
Merlin and the Sword (1985) (youtube): So bad so good, accidentally hilarious. It focuses on Morgana vs Arthur, Guinevere's love, Merlin and it also has the only movie representation of Gawain and Ragnelle.

"gwaine hated arthur" common misconception, repressed emotional bastards actually wanted to get boned down by each other from day one
