it goes without saying that i believe uriel screamed and sobbed over his siblings as he killed them. growing more and more bitter as the brothers and sisters turn their backs on him. his understanding of lucifer only growing as he is left again and again with no choice but to lash out in defense of himself, because if any angel he's talked to says no to his offer and he lets them go, then heaven will immediately strike him down. he just wants someone to agree with him. there is no god above, and what's left of heaven sends angel to the slaughter or tortures them. from where uriel's standing, lucifer is not the best of two bad options, lucifer is the only option they have that will protect angels. uriel knows this and no one is listening to him.

Disclaimer: I have favorite episodes that come from every single season on this list, including 7a. For example, even though Season 6 is low on the list, the God Complex, Almost People/Rebel Flesh, and Impossible Astronaut are some of my favorite of the show. I do really love the Power of Three. These are based on season arc/average feeling per episode/rewatchability on a subjective level.

bought and started playing Cloudpunk because i wanted to watch a video essay on it and honestly, from the video title and based on the person that made the video, i don't know what i was expecting the game to be but i don't know why i didn't expect it to be a "existential dread under capitalism" simulator, this is simply too fucking much. like the game (so far) has some really good fucking writing and really good fucking pacing and really good fucking voice acting and a gorgeous world and great design and aesthetics but like my brain is simply shutting off trying to think about the implications like it's too much. talked to Teko and my brain just switched off trying to think about the implications. talked to Eveline and my brain started to think about the implications and i completely zoned out (not really but my brain was almost static at that point although i clapped when she said "don't tell me how to label myself"). rn i'm only a few deliveries in, i just gave Never-Slow Joe his drive converter and the moral dilemma the game presented was simply too much so i am. done for the day. that is a problem for another day.

as someone who watched rpm after go-onger (with like... a year gap between? something like that) yeah no rpm and go-onger are two COMPLETELY different things. ziggy and the boom twins could handle being in go-onger but only the wings would survive rpm. go-onger is so cute and fun and actually one of the toku shows where i'm like "oh yeah. def for the kiddos (affectionate)" rpm is what happens when you have go-onger footage for your apocalypse lmaoooo

i guess my point is that i liked rpm decently but i LOVED go-onger lmao

if i do watch rpm it'll be after go onger because i feel like that'll make the experience weirder

i already kind of get this in the opposite direction because ive watched zyuranger, which is a show where the main theme is the cycle of life and death so there's a couple of occasions where it handles some heavy stuff so it was interesting to see how certain plotlines got adapted into the show about high schoolers at high school

one thing i will say about pr is that it always knocks it out the park with the names. ziggy and the boom twins? pure americana. no notes.
