I had to get outside today and do a shakeout after yesterday’s Sky Peaks 50K in Flagstaff. I was going to run the Greenbelt but the mountain was calling to me and what a great climb this was! I’m feeling yesterday but it didn’t interfere with the PMA. The afternoons are now Heaven and exactly why I live in Scottsdale! My first run since Sunday and it felt great. The weather is perfect at 100 degrees and the Deep soundtrack was provided by the talented @larslb today. I need to ramp up the miles now that the heat is done and Lars Behrenroth is always my go to music for Thursday’s since he releases his mixes on Wednesday. I need to get back to the 10 Miler’s during the week so I can focus on climbing during the weekends. I have 2 50ks before December and then something much bigger in December. After that, get a 2 days break before the next training cycle for the next 50k and 60k. If all goes well, there might be a 100k before summer!
