Favourite holiday? … May Half Term? It’s generally nice and sunny without being crazy hot yet. It’s shearing time, which is mad, but fun. There’s generally baby animals about and flowers are in bloom. What’s not to like?

You’re invited to a costume party, what are you dressing up as? What aren’t I dressing up as?? I’ve got two large under the bed drawers. One is dedicated to art & craft supplies, the other one is costumes.

Arthur Pendragon is always fun (horse sold separately). Jessie from Toy Story is the CUTEST (though I’d have to get new doll contact lenses).

And then there was the year Ruth and I went to NY Comic Con with 3 matching cosplays from 3 different shows.

Spike & Willow (Buffy), Eleanor Guthrie & Anne Bonny (Black Sails), and Jace & Clary (Shadowhunters). That was good fun!

What show takes up the most space in your brain? Right now it’s counting down the days until I can watch Season 2 of The Bear!!! 😬😬

And finally, share something you’re looking forward to: Going to Cape Cod in September. I’ve not been able to go since before the pandemic and I miss it! Also Ruth and I are planning another recording junket up North, that’s always fun. And then end of this year or early next year Ruth and I are going to (hopefully) see the Northern Lights. This is one of the few episodes which doesn't start with a 'welcome to Night Vale' segment. As shown in the above opening, this episode is a collection of 'voicemails' left by various characters. I'll write them in the order they are heard in the episode.

The first message is from Carlos. He rings to tell Cecil that they've started building infrastructure in the otherworld, mainly using the rocks from the mountain but also using parts of old settlements. It seems they've just been 'finding stuff' like microwaves and toolboxes. He also mentions the possibility of getting a tattoo with the definition of science according to Webster's (“I don’t know, but I’m trying to find out, ok?”) with possibly a skull and some roses or an anchor for an 'old timey' feel. He also states that he doesn't understand how people can find scientifically inaccurate jokes funny.

The seventh message is also from Carlos. He apologies for 'leaving so many messages' but tells us that he's found people out in the desert otherworld. They are ex-citizens of Night Vale, currently resting in the 'hot yoga' studio Carlos and the masked warriors built as they're somewhat traumitised from wandering for two years in the largely featureless desert with nothing but a distant rumbling and a light they can feel in the roots of their teeth.

The thirteenth message is also from Carlos. This time he tells us that he's studying the people he found and is on the verge of something really big. He follows this up in the sixteenth message, telling us all of the people he found ended up there after they were lured into the dog park during Poetry Week, that the stuff they keep finding is likely things thrown over the dog park wall by citizens and that if Cecil wants to visit all he has to do is wander into the dog park for a few hundred miles.

The second message is from Michelle. She says that she's got the new Woodie Guthrie album for him. She says that he should come down and see the archival records of bees she's been listening to and maybe hang out because she's lonely and needs more human contact.

The third message is from Steve. Steve is asking if it's alright for Janice to stay with him in a few months as he and Abby want to have a couples vacaction to somewhere romantic, like the warehouse district, the sandwastes, or Arby's. He says to get back to him either by the phone or during one of Cecil's rants about him during his show. He also mentions that Cecil tried to convince him that voicemails weren't real so he wouldn't leave any and that he's sorry if the t-shirt's he made with Carlos and Cecil looking at the lights on them upset him (Steve Carlsberg first Cecilos merch maker???).

The fourth message is from Tamika. She's talking about her and the rest of the 'missing' children taking the books on a kind of 'cattle drive' but also admits that books aren't actually sentient so they won't actually be going anywhere.

The fifth message is from Earl. He says he'd love to be on the show again to make pumpkin pie (with much less blood-splatter than you'd think) and that he's still adjusting from going from a childless teenager to a middle-aged man with an 11 year old and trying to balance his job and being with his son. He finally found out that his son is called Roger.

The sixth message is from Fey, technically. She's doing her normal number readings with chimes in between.

The eight message is from Deb. She's running an ad by him which she plans to run whether he likes it or not. It's an ad proclaiming the superiority of sentient patches of haze.

The ninth message is from the FOW. She has carried moths from outside into his closet so they'll destroy his clothes. She can hear some of them eating one of his suits as she speaks. She's pretty mad he saved Dana. She also says to say hi to Carlos, whom she's always liked.

The tenth message is from Old Woman Josie. She needs a lift to League Night because she stopped believing in her car. Also she's had trouble using his left hand lately, but is still sure they can win.

The eleventh message is from Dana. She says that she did not buy Lot 37, just some collectable spoons and a baseball autographed by Lee Marvin. She's still unsure if she's the original Dana or the double. She mentions how they work 5 minutes drive from each other and yet talk less than when she was in the otherworld.

The twelfth message is from something unknown making weird noises.

The fourteenth message is from Hiram, pretending to be Frank Chen (badly) to try and figure out if Dana has told Cecil about any plans she has.

The fifthteenth message leads onto the weather and is a 'daily automated weather service' (Donald and Maggie, if not mistaken). Weather: "Tag!" by Scarves http://scarvesmusic.bandcamp.com

The last message is from Kevin, who acts like basically nothing happened but a vague 'unpleasantness' and hopes that things have been pleasant for Cecil since. He says he's been working on something big that Cecil will be jazzed about and to get back to him 'ASAP'.

Raza Jaffrey as Dr. Neal Hudson, an ER attending physician. A British-Indian former surgeon, his approach is quieter and more people-oriented, than his mentor Dr. Rorish. He connected with Christa during her first year of residency. In "Hail Mary", Hudson becomes a surgical attending, and is once again assigned to the ER (season 1).[7][8]

Bonnie Somerville as Dr. Christa Lorenson, a mature first-year resident. She was married with a son who died of brain cancer. Her experience and her divorce inspired her to attend medical school (season 1).[7]

Melanie Chandra as Dr. Malaya Pineda, a first-year resident (seasons 1–2). She went to medical school and did her internship at Angels Memorial, and is more familiar with the ER. She is a lesbian, who was once involved with a resident when she was a medical student.

William Allen Young as Dr. Rollie Guthrie, an ER attending physician with a very nurturing style; he takes Angus under his wing in his first days in the ER. Guthrie's wife committed suicide, a death that strained his relationship with his son, a surgeon. During season 2, Guthrie is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and undergoes corrective neurological surgery to delay the onset of symptoms. Guthrie had a daughter who died from carbon monoxide poisoning while Guthrie tried to save his son from a similar death.

Harry Ford as Dr. Angus Leighton, a first-year resident. His father is on the hospital board. He feels overshadowed by that and by the achievements of his older brother, a former resident, but slowly grows in confidence. In his second year he is encouraged to transfer and become a surgical resident.

Benjamin Hollingsworth as Dr. Mario Savetti, a first-year resident. He grew up poor and sees emergency medicine as his way out. He worked as a bartender before medical school.

Luis Guzmán as Jesse Salander, known as "Mama". A senior nurse who manages the residents, Jesse is tough but caring and supportive of the students. He and Dr. Rorish have a long-term, close friendship.

Boris Kodjoe as Dr. Will Campbell, Chief of Surgery. In season 2 he is assigned as the new Chief of the combined Surgery and Emergency medicine department in order to save costs, causing strife between him and Rorish. Campbell has a disabled daughter (season 2–3; recurring in season 1).

Jillian Murray as Dr. Heather Pinkney, a surgical resident who becomes involved with Mario.(season 2; recurring in season 1). He quickly ends it when he hears about her side relationship with Dr. Campbell. She gets in further trouble when it's revealed she's providing Angus with Adderall. When confronted by Campbell, she threatens to turn their past relationship into a sexual harassment case.

Noah Gray-Cabey as Elliot Dixon, a first-year resident in the ER (season 2-3).

Emily Tyra as Noa Kean, an ER resident and former dancer. She begins a relationship with Dr. Mario Savetti (season 3; recurring season 2)

Emily Alyn Lind as Ariel Braeden (season 3; guest seasons 1–2)

Shiri Appleby as Dr. Carla Niven, a former resident at Angels Memorial and Malaya's ex-girlfriend. She is diagnosed with leukemia while pregnant, and refuses treatment not wanting to harm the baby.

Christina Vidal as Dr. Gina Perello, the replacement Director of the Emergency Department at Angels Memorial, who takes over when Dr. Taylor is put on leave.

Gabrielle Carteris as Amy Wolowitz, R.N., a nurse in the Emergency Department.

Meagan Good as Dr. Grace Adams, returns to the ER after volunteering in Haiti. She is Dr. Neal Hudson's ex-girlfriend.

Audi se suma a la lista de inscritos del Mundial de Rally Raid W2RC en 2023: Todas las categorías en autos y motos crecen 

El equipo oficial de Audi a través de Q Motorsport se ha inscrito para disputar el Mundial de Rally Raid FIA W2RC con sus tres autos pilotados por Carlos Sainz, Stephane Peterhansel y Mattias Ekstrom, en lo que verá aumentar la competitividad del campeonato que vivirá su segundo año. A partir del Dakar 2023, Audi sumará puntos para el Mundial a diferencia de este año donde participaron en algunos eventos selectos y sin puntuación. En total, 19 autos aparecen inscritos como participantes del Mundial en un claro crecimiento de la parrilla para la próxima temporada a partir del Dakar en enero.

Además de las tres entradas de Audi, se destaca que también se han inscrito por los puntos Martin Prokop con el Ford Raptor, Mathieu Serradori con el equipo oficial de Century, Guerlain Chicherit y Orly Terranova representando a Prodrive y dos equipos chinos con SMG y BAIC. Se suman a la parrilla estable conformada por el campeón Nasser Al-Attiyah, el subcampeón Sebastien Loeb y Yazeed Al-Rajhi.

Las motos tendrán 16 inscritos con los equipos oficiales de KTM (K. Benavides, Price, Walkner), Honda (Quintanilla, Brabec, Cornejo, van Beveren), GasGas (Sunderland, Sanders), Husqvarna (L. Benavides, Howes) y Hero (Buhler, Branch, Rodrigues, Caimi) todos presentes además de Mason Klein que subirá a la categoría principal con el BAS Dakar tras ganar cómodamente el título de Rally2.

En la clase T3 habrá 14 participantes, partiendo por las dos mitades del equipo oficial Red Bull Can-Am que tendrá a Chaleco López defendiendo el título, Cristina Gutiérrez, Seth Quintero, AJ Jones y Mitch Guthrie. También estará Yamaha X-Raid con Annett Fischer y Joao Ferreira y en el South Racing, Fernando Álvarez, Helder Rodrigues, el argentino David Zille y Dania Akeel.

En T4, veremos también 14 inscritos liderados por el campeón Rokas Baciuska en el Red Bull Can-Am, con South Racing presentando a Rodrigo Luppi y su hijo Rodrigo Conti, Sebastián Guayasamín, Molly Taylor y Yasir Seaidan. Energylandia presentará a la familia Gozcal con Michal y Marek, además de su hijo Eryk. Nico Cavigliasso también correrá el serial.
