#sundayvibes and when I spend my money I like to buy #appreciatingassets, and my gut check on #whisky and #rolex watches has paid off. The cool thing about the #rolexwatches is I get to wear the appreciating asset, and the cool thing about the #whiskies is they got me the #rolexwhisky fame which pays its own dividends and the #whiskey keeps going up. Case in point is #michters, after meet Joe and learning more about him and his philosophy I went deep into buying #michterswhiskey and boy has the last 4 years been a huge run for them. The #michters20 I paid $900 from an online store in New York, the #michters25 bourbon I paid $2000 for, the michters 25 year #ryewhiskey I traded for a #hibiki30limitededition with my cost of $2200. So $5100 in total and currently worth north of $30 000 in 4 years. I got 10 more years left on the kids college fund. The #rolexbatman I paid $8000 for, they go for $18 000 now on secondary, the #rolexpanda I paid $10 000 and it has not gone up much I should of got a stainless steel one, and my #rolexhulk I paid $7500 for, sold it for $14000 and bought one #bitcoin. Moral of the story.....buy appreciating assets if you want your investment to grow. #mondaymotivation and if you are going to buy #whiskey for investment then buy #whiskies that not everyone can buy easily. The #michters 25 year #bourbonwhiskey and #ryewhiskey are good examples as low release numbers and a lot of the 2017 #bourbon was drank and a bigger amount of the 2014 #michters25 year was opened too. Now I am begging on the streets for a #michters25 as the allocation is #teenytiny out here is Southern California but I got good weather 🤪. Love seeing all the #btac and #pappyvanwinkle posts too from the rest of the country, here in #sunnysandiego they sell the #vanwinkle 12 for $700 and it does not last long on shelf. #michtersmonday meets #mondaymotivation kind of day. It’s almost 4 years since I moved some #daytrading money into a #whiskycollection and it interesting to watch some of the #stockstowatch I had in my account. I had #amazon at around $850 that I bought around $500. I sold my #facebook shares in the $80’s after buying in the mid $50 range. I got out of my Oil and Natural Gas positions barely before they came tumbling. A couple of other #daytrade kind of shares and moved into #whiskey. I still have about 12 years on this #whiskyinvestment but watching the current #stockmarketinvesting does make me think 🤔. Good thing my house in #sandiego has doubled in value in less then 7 years though 💵. Prices of #whisky continue to rise and on these #rolexwatches too, the world seems full of money, almost to good to be true.
