FNAF SPOILERS! SCROLL! TALKING ABOUT THE SPRINGLOCK SCENE!
i’ve seen so many people discussing the springlock scene in both negative and positive ways and i think it brings up really cool points about how matthew played that scene and balanced fan expectations with his own characterisation.
i think the discussions around this movie have rlly exposed the disconnect between fanon and canon in fnaf, especially talking abt the core games in isolation, bc frankly in the game universe (ignoring the books) we get Very Little characterisation for William other than the obvious, but Matthew managed to add so much in the way he talks and his body language.
in the reveal scene, we see afton at arguably his peak. in his first scene, he comes off as somewhat demeaning and judgemental until he recognises mike’s name, at which point he seems to have this nervous energy, rushing to cover it up but stumbling slightly, his reaction to the tables being turned even slightly is massive.
this is a man who committed multiple mrdrs in essentially broad daylight, hid the bodies in the most obvious place, and still got away with it, and then kept the crime scene as a trophy of his actions, and an ongoing prison sentence for his victims. he has been in complete control for decades, and is confident that he can deal with any kind of threat quickly. his confidence in his reveal is palpable
it changes when vanessa shoots him. the whole parallel with vanessa and the animatronics is hugely interesting too- how william refers to the animatronics almost endearingly as “kids” when he wants them to obey, how both vanny and the animatronics have an unearned loyalty to him, almost a pseudo-adoption through what he did to them, taking them from their parents and keeping them under his thumb, forever stuck as naive, forgiving, obedient children. vanessa breaking from that control shakes him, but the mask slips back into place almost immediately.
then, he’s outsmarted by the brother of one of his victims, and the child he planned to end next. his pseudo-children turn on him and he can no longer manipulate his appearance or shed his skin to escape. he explodes on them, and his language is incredibly telling that he is being dishonest.
he calls them small, trying to belittle them into submission, even though they are ten feet tall metal animatronics powered by rage. he is grasping at straws to regain control, and failing miserably.
finally, the springlocks go off. the locks in the movie look more like a ribcage, so the first two likely puncture his lungs. they’re slow, and painful, but he doesn’t scream or beg or sob. he grunts and groans, gritting his teeth and only letting out sounds of pain that sound almost involuntary. there is no way in hell he would visibly let himself show weakness or pain in front of these creatures that he believes he has control over. he isn’t brought to his knees until there are eight metal spikes embedded in his abdomen. he doesn’t let the mask fall for even a second, until he literally PUTS THE ACTUAL MASK ON and finally collapses. even then, he’s fighting for consciousness, twitching and writhing with no control over his body. william afton thrives on control, and his soul will not rest until he gets it back.
it’s why he keeps the pizzeria- he always comes back. he can’t help but return to the scene of the crime, putting on his old costume, continuing his killings. he revels in being a constant threat on the horizon. and now, he knows he is going to die, and he knows the suit will bring him back, and noone will be able to get rid of him then. so he puts the mask back on, and waits.
in terms of the sfx- they’re pretty accurate. with stab wounds, you need to leave the knife in the wound as long as possible for best chance of survival, as it stops the blood from escaping. in terms of the springlocks, there wouldn’t be copious amounts of blood as the locks are keeping the wounds filled- which is good because it means a slower, more painful death.

Okay soooooooo
How bout something like King Steve picking on shy!reader, then later finding out she has a shitty home life plz
ty for requesting!! this can be read as a prequel to this fic — steve comforts you when he accidentally makes you flinch (enemies to lovers, hurt/comfort, cw for brief mentions of abuse, 1.8k)
Sitting alone at the Hellfire table, you feel a little like fishbait.
Your spot in the very back of the cafeteria is normally full and loud — with Dustin’s bickering, and Eddie’s laughing, and Gareth’s stupid jokes — but they’re not here now. They’re off getting their trays while you sit in wait for them (and the cold fries you’ll ultimately steal from Eddie’s plate). It leaves you perfect prey for circling sharks.
You hear laughter from behind you, over the sounds of the bustling lunch room. You’re certain they’re laughing at you — ‘cause you always think someone’s laughing at you — but you try hard to ignore it. You disregard the subtle pang of anxiety in your chest and stick your nose in your book, eyes flitting across the words without reading any of them.
Someone flumps down at your side then, where Mike usually sits. The overwhelming scent of spiced cologne stings your nostrils. With watering eyes, you look beside you. At Tommy fucking Hagan.
“Hey, Wallflower,” he greets like it’s normal — like he hasn’t spent the past four years pretending you don’t exist. You think he only calls you Wallflower now because his friends have been doing it for so long they don’t remember your real name.
The boy props his elbow on the table and puts his chin in his fist, trying hard to hide his boyish beam and accompanying laughter. He fails.
You cower at his presence, all but shrinking into yourself. “…Hi?” you reply in a tiny voice.
“How’s it hangin’?”
“...Fine?”
“That’s great!” he answers instantly, like he hadn’t heard you at all. “You see, my friend Steve, over there— you know him, right?”
You don’t bother to look where he’s pointing. Of course, you know Steve The Hair Harrington. You don’t think there’s a single person in Hawkins who doesn’t.
You nod in response.
Tommy’s smile widens. “Well, he’s got this massive crush on you,” he confesses, choking back a laugh halfway through. “I mean, he talks about you all the time.”
You know he’s lying. And not just because he’s grinning so hard that his eyes are crinkled and his freckled cheeks are turning pink. You’re almost certain Steve Harrington doesn’t even know who you are. He never had a reason to. Why would the King of Hawkins High ever stoop so low to know someone like you?
You glance at him over your shoulder, a couple tables down from you. He’s almost magnetically pretty. You couldn’t ignore him if you tried — with his pretty hair and his pretty eyes and his pretty smile. His golden cheeks flush as all his friends start poking fun at him.
He rolls his eyes and scoffs a laugh you can tell is forced from here. He doesn’t think any of this is funny. You can see it on his face. But he isn’t trying to stop it all from happening. You’re just collateral damage, really.
You turn back to Tommy with a disbelieving look in your eye.
He continues to ramble despite it. “He was just a little nervous coming up to you, that’s all. So I thought I’d do him a favor and slip you his number. You know, as his wingman and all.” He tosses a folded-up index card onto the pages of your opened book. “You should call him tonight— It’ll make his day, I swear.”
He pats you a little too hard on the back before he goes. His laugh echoes over all the rest when he sits back down at his table. You watch them over your shoulder as they fall over themselves to crack jokes about you.
Steve’s the only one not smiling. “Not cool, Tommy,” he mouths.
—————
Locker 148. The one right across from yours. Property of Steve The Hair Harrington.
You shove the thick card with his number written on it between the slits in the metal. You’d carried it around all day, utterly unsure of what to do with it. You decided ultimately to return it, figuring he might feel a little better if a total stranger didn’t have his phone number.
You struggle to slide it through the thin gap, though. The paper gets caught halfway through, and you try to yank it back out again. The old locker moves with you, like it’s not completely shut but still somehow latched.
You’re so in your own head you don’t hear the gymnasium door down the hall squeal open and shut again. Steve pants heavily and tries to recover from a ruthless basketball practice. He hunts for a water fountain and finds you instead.
“What are you doing?” he calls as he nears you, not malicious or unkind but genuinely curious.
Your heart lurches into your throat as you all but jump out of your skin.
Steve laughs, a pretty sound in the silent hallway. “Shit. Sorry. I didn’t— I didn’t mean to scare you.”
“You didn’t,” you assure with an averted gaze, though your frightened demeanor says otherwise. “I was just— I was trying to give you this.”
You hold the paper out towards him. He takes it with hesitant hands. “What is it?”
“Your number. Tommy gave it to me earlier, and I know it was just a stupid joke, so I… I thought you’d feel more comfortable if I gave it back to you.”
Something in Steve’s chest aches. He doesn’t understand why you would care about what might make him comfortable. It’s not like he ever gave you the time of day — or ever tried to stop his friends from being total assholes. As far as he’s concerned, you’re the last person who should give a shit about him.
“Oh. Right— Yeah… Thanks,” he stammers and shoves the thing into his pocket. “And I’m— I’m sorry about Tommy and everything. He can be a real douchebag sometimes. I didn’t… I didn’t tell him to bother you or anything—”
“I know,” you assure in a mousy voice. “Tommy gave me your number hoping I’d be dumb enough to call while your friends were over so you could all… laugh at me? I guess. He could’ve been a little more original, honestly.”
Steve cracks a smile. He almost laughs, but he can’t tell if you’re joking or not.
“I’ll talk to him later. Tell him to leave you alone—” He rambles and walks closer to you. You watch him with tentative eyes as he approaches. “—He’s a total dumbass sometimes, but he usually means well. Most of the time, anyway—”
Steve raises his hand suddenly. And, because you’re frightened by everything little thing, you flinch and stumble over yourself in the process. The lockers catch your fall, and you hit the back of your head. Hard.
“Shit— Are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” you squeak, holding the crown of your hair and squinting as your skull pounds.
Steve rushes to your side, then idles just ahead of you because he doesn’t know if you want him touching you. His brows pinch, chiseled features swimming with concern. His cinnamon eyes glitter with it, too. “I wasn’t trying to scare you—”
“It’s okay.”
“—My locker was just jammed. I was going to shut it.”
The metal door is open now, from where it wasn’t shut all the way and where you just smacked your head on it.
“I just wasn’t expecting it,” you assure in a tight voice, trying hard to ignore the sharp throbbing. “It’s fine. I’m fine—”
“You’re hurt.”
“It’ll go away—”
“Let me get you an icepack.”
“—I’ll be fine once I get home.”
Steve, feeling purely at fault and aching at how effortlessly you shrug him off, decides to approach you fully. He curls a warm hand around the outside of your elbow. A touch surprisingly gentle. “No. C’mon. Let me help.”
You don’t feel much like you’re in any position to fight him about it. Not with the world still swaying under your feet.
Steve guides you the short distance to the empty cafeteria. Slow and kind and dreadfully patient. He sits you down, makes sure you’re still okay, and then rushes to fix you a makeshift icepack — a ziplock bag filled to the brim with chipped ice.
He sits at the chair beside yours, slightly askew so his knees bump your thighs. He holds the pack to the crown of your head and gazes at you attentively. You’re not looking back at him to see it.
“Does it still hurt?”
You shrug, eyes flitted to the wringing hands in your lap. “It’s fine. It just feels a little like I have a migraine.”
Steve winces. “I’m sorry.”
Your doe eyes peek at him from beneath your lashes. “It wasn’t your fault.”
“I scared you.”
“Everything scares me.”
It’s a dumb joke. You mean it, but you still expect him to laugh about it. He doesn’t even crack a smile, though. He just keeps looking at you with that puppy-like twist to his features. The worry is evident in his face.
“Do you wanna, like, talk about it or something?”
“About what?”
“Why you flinched.”
You freeze, breath hitching in your throat. No one’s ever noticed your incessant panic — outside of making jokes about it anyway. No one’s cared enough to ask about it, either. Steve Harrington is the last person you expected any kind of concern from.
You shake your head after a few long moments. “No.”
“You could,” Steve assures, suddenly shy. You didn’t know he could be anything other than totally full of himself. “You know, if you wanted to. I wouldn’t— I wouldn’t tell anyone—”
You scoff a disbelieving laugh.
Steve’s features swirl with hurt. You hate that it makes your chest ache. You hate most that he hasn’t stopped being soft with you. The hand holding the pack to your head hasn’t yet wavered, even though you know his arm must be tired now.
“I wouldn’t. ‘Cause I— I know what it’s like to… to have a bad home life or whatever,” he confesses, stammering hopelessly. He forces a laugh at himself. “Probably more than most people do, honestly.”
His admission takes you by surprise. It comforts you in a way you didn’t think someone like him could.
Even still, you shake your head. “I— I can’t—” you murmur, clearing your throat when the words get stuck there. “I can’t talk about it…”
Steve nods, firm and reassuring. “That’s okay. You don’t have to, I was just… I was just saying, you know? I get it.”
You swallow through a tight throat, nodding wordlessly in response.
“Plus, you know, you have my number and everything… If you ever wanted to talk…”
You flash him a timid look and crack a quiet smile. “I gave it back to you, remember?”
“I’ll write it down for you again,” he promises with a shrug and a lopsided grin. It’s easier to ignore his aching arm and the ice stinging his palm when he’s looking at you. “For real this time.”

Fuck it. Appreciation Post for the amazing QSMP admins.
Heres a list of just a small bit of the amazing shit that they did on/for the QSMP and its players:
Made a huge prison/event for Pac e Mike which later turned into a job for Fit for his lore
Helping Foolish out with his Titan by raising it up, lighting it up, and even making sure the brightness of the light blocks where okay for him
Listening to Fit and Phil the day the task was "Make a grappling squawk" and made it interesting with Walter Bob delivering the news
Making Gegg a reality and letting him run for president
Every event is so cool no matter how big or small. The dungeons the The Jaidens did was so fun and interesting. Every new players event is always chaos but very detailed. Even making stuff for French Independence day and the 4th of July so people could experience each other's cultures.
The amazing wedding cake and rings for Cellbit and Roier's wedding
Helping Tazercraft with the Hide and Seek Arena and making the code so they can actually play hide and seek easier
Giving Charlie, Roier, and Max (idk if theres more) key binds so they easily switch their skins and their names in game
The little jokes/ nods to stuff that happens on the server. Like the day after Missa came back and failed a water bucket clutch, they made one of the tasks "Have a water bucket competition".
Them elaborating on stuff that happens on the server. For instance, Bad putting up mini bulletin board at spawn so they keep everyone updated. So the admins started putting the newspaper there so people could see and be updated.
Philza found an insane mob that basically soft locked your game and Phil messaged the admins telling them that information, to which they immediately disabled the mob.
The side NPCs that everyone fall in love with them. From Walter Bob, a random admin who they let the players create a story and love for, to the Capybaras, which are basically the admins having fun but turned into them having their own lore.
The insane enigmas they make for Cellbit and the story it tells. They make the puzzles very detailed and sometimes can hint to other stories.
Fucking making Felps a new member
Making a button so people like Cellbit who frequently switch between Portuguese and English dont have to constant fiddle with the settings and can just switch easily
The fucking insane shit they do with Max and his story is so cool. From what Ive seen, they give him so much room and freedom to make what he wants. Im always so impressed by whatever Max does and the things he does with this server.
They make sure everyone's lore/story is seen/heard and also try to connect the lore together. From what I have seen, nothing is half assed. Cellbit finding books about a powerful weapon? It is used to trap Pac and Etoiles had to go through the nether to get the shield to counter the sword.
Lastly, just listening to the members and hearing their concerns while also letting them having fun. They joke with the members/audience, but also hearing them out when they think something is unjustified.
The admins care so much for this server and put so much work and love for it. I hope they know it never goes unappreciated or looked over.

A/N: I get youuuu, hope you enjoy 😁 started off with the relationship hcs but let me know if you wanna see anything more specific!!
Warnings: FNAF movie spoilers, mentions of violence
⋆✮ Dating Mike Schmidt Includes: ✮⋆
Tumblr media
➳ Mike's been through a hell of a lot ever since his little brother got kidnapped, so I'm seeing major protectiveness and sometimes even clinginess involved from him when you end up dating because 😭 guy's been through stuff and he's not letting anyone else he's close to get hurt
➳ To be honest, at first he's pretty closed-off with people, vulnerable with a tough exterior, so if you meet him in some scenario where you're tied up with the Freddy's murders and job, he'll try to be distant and professional and all... ending up failing 🙃
➳ Eventually you start. talking more about personal things, hobbies your lives, and he'll mention his sister Abby and having to take the job because he needs the money and is in the middle of the custody situation with his sister. He's got a lot going on and the trauma of what happened all those years ago still wringing at his guilt, so being able to talk with someone who doesn't judge in a relaxed place is a nice change for him having to be on guard all the time.
➳ When Mike befriends you, which is what happens first, he's got your back. If you need someone to vent to or hang out with or whatever, he'll do whatever he can to help, and when it comes to you being in a sticky situation or someone trying to hurt you or play you, he always seems to realise and is in no way afraid of confrontation to get them to back off.
➳ Like if William tries sizing you up a bit... and Mike gets annoyed with that cool, defensive glare as he asks if he needs anything (I've got to make an imagine of this nowwww). I think Mike would only realise that he's actually jealous if you teased about it, or if he really loses his temper with someone that's not leaving you alone or something. Then it really nags at him and makes him think about actually liking you as more than a friend, and then that initial reluctance because everyone he gets close to seems to have something bad happen to them, like it's a curse. At the end of the day, he just wants you to be safe.
➳ It would take something big for Mike to confess to you, unless you take the first step (aka Abby begging you to tell him you like him too because she's getting bored of him not concentrating on what she's talking to him about or the conversation somehow curving to you and the stuff you're into). Maybe you're attacked at Freddy's and you're all in on the crisis together when Mike stands firmly in front of you when William reveals himself, or he shoves you out the way so you won't get hurt, ultimately jumping in front of the threat without a worry of him getting hit instead. It's then that he realises how much he needs you in his life, how he needs you alive because you add some joy to it that he hasn't felt in all these years, a change from the darkness that his head's stuck in.
➳ It all comes out of him in a rush as he looks you up and down with wild eyes and a firm grip, asking if you're alright and saying in a rush that "you're one of the most important people in the world to me, and I don't know what I'd do if you got hurt... I- I couldn't live with myself, okay?!"
➳ Okayyy Mike, just kiss them 😏
➳ After you fight Afton together and get Vanessa looked after, you can finally breathe and properly start dating, which includes that familiar protectiveness and slight clinginess... and also being best friends with his little sister, which you 100% would be. You'd spend time drawing or chatting or playing random games while Mike was out working, eliminating the need for a babysitter because you're the perfect fit and get along with her great. And when he is home, you do a lot of stuff together, like a mini family, and there's finally that security and stability in that life she needed.
➳ I feel like Abby would find it hilarious to tell you all the sappy things Mike says about you on the rare occasions where you're not around, ending in Mike's cheeks flushing beet red and him picking her up and whirling her around playfully until she's in fits of laughter. "I heard Mike say that he found another reason to keep going when he realised he was in love wi- hey!!"
➳ Mike would be a bit clingy, again because of what happened with Garret; Mike being distracted for one moment and then blaming himself for the rest of his life because it was that moment where his brother was taken and killed. So if you are out, on a date or just around, this guy will not leave your side. He's the kind of person to text you again and again if you don't respond to the first message, and it's kind of cute how much he worries, but then he doesn't need to, and every now and then he'll need your reassurance that you guys are safe and that you won't leave him, which stills ends with him burying his face in your neck for a long tight hug for a while.
➳ MIKE'S A BIG HUGGER. CHANGE MY MIND.
➳ Whether you're watching a movie with him and Abby, or you're out on a date or sleeping or whatever, Mike will always have some contact with you if you've told him you're okay with it: fingers linked under the table, pressed into his side while you're watching TV (with an affectionate forehead kiss every five minutes 🥺) or being half crushed to death while you're trying to sleep when he rolls onto you and traps you under his leg... good luck if you need to go to the bathroom. Chances are he'll end up trailing after you with mumbled protests.
➳ That protectiveness always kicks in when someone looks at you for too long, or in a way that he doesn't like the look of, or if you're obviously uncomfortable with. If you're quick, you can just convince him to walk away and you two go somewhere else, because Mike will end up getting annoyed and giving the guy a line to get him to make them go away. If he's not careful, he might end up getting in a fight again, but he'll really try not to when you tell him off for it and promise him that things are okay and you're not going anywhere.
➳ You and Abby are basically Mike's world, after all that's happened, there are only really two people left that he truly cares for and would do anything for. Once you're in a relationship with him, he'll do everything he can to make sure you're safe and won't have to go through anything he had to. If ever you're upset, he'll listen for hours with no judgement and major support, whatever mood you're in somehow rubbing off on him. Mike will admit his feelings in a rush, and when he does, he's not afraid to tell you that he loves you whenever you need to hear it, or whenever he wants to say it and wants you to be reminded. It's something that you can never doubt.

Steddie PJO AU Part One
One (1) person asked for this, and it was only after I told them I'd had an idea, so, like, fuck it we ball.
The parents of the various kids will be revealed as the series goes on, but I'll look forward to your guesses along the way!
Also, I haven't read the books in a hot fucking minute, but the trailer has had me in a chokehold. This is written more for fun than anything else, so just shut off your brain and enjoy the ride without thinking about accuracy. You'll love it, I promise!
As always, if you see any typos no you didn't ;)
---
With a low, frustrated growl, Eddie tears a page out of his notebook, crumples it into a ball, and throws it on the floor of his tent. All he gets for his troubles is another page of lyrics underneath the first that fail to actually do what he wants. "Fucking shit prophecy," he mutters, tearing that page out, too.
It hits the ground right as Chrissy pokes her head into the tent. She watches it bounce once before settling on the ground. "How's the songwriting?" she jokes, letting the tent's flap fall shut behind her.
"Bad," Eddie says, dropping the notebook and standing. He glares at the paper balls and kicks one away. "Just as bad as the prophecy itself."
"Aww, it's not that bad," Chrissy says, walking a little closer and playfully punching Eddie's arm. Her smile is bright enough to make Eddie feel like he needs sunglasses, and that isn't even because Chrissy's father is Apollo. That's just all her. "At least your prophecy doesn't promise, you know, horrible death."
Eddie scoffs, turning to look at Chrissy as he gestures at his Def Leppard shirt and torn jeans and chunky rings and general metalhead vibe. "Do I look like someone who should be getting that prophecy?" he asks.
He doesn't wait for her to answer before scrunching his face and reciting in a high, mocking voice, "You shall witness an unfair fight between land and sky where feathers with great reluctance fly. And as the sun is shining bright, you shall be swaying in the moon's sweet light."
By the time he's done, he's clasped his hands and held them up to his face with an exaggerated doe-eyed expression. Eddie drops it the moment he finishes, his nose scrunching in disgust as he rolls his eyes. "I have a reputation to uphold, Chrissy."
She doesn't take his complaints seriously. Instead, Chrissy rolls her eyes and sits on the edge of Eddie's cot. "Sure, sure, you're too cool for anything good to happen to you. Still, you might be better off if you didn't try turning that prophecy into something angry."
Eddie huffs, kicks another paper ball, and drops to a crouch next to the cot. After a few seconds, he begrudgingly admits, "Yeah, maybe."
Chrissy sympathetically pats his head, her touch warm and light, and smiles at him. "In other news, we've got another retrieval request for you," she says.
"Oh, boy, work."
"C'mon, you enjoy them," Chrissy says, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a folded piece of paper. "A cyclops sighted some demigod kids running around with, well, she wasn't sure if he was also a demigod or not. But they won't be safe long when they're clustered together like that, so, go bring 'em back."
She passes Eddie the piece of paper and watches as he unfolds it and frowns at the two words written there: "Athens, Tennessee."
"Are you kidding me? That's so cliche," Eddie says.
"Yeah, but at least it's not California or something."
"Thank fuck for small miracles," Eddie mutters, folding up the paper again and shoving it into his pocket.
Looks like he's got packing to do.
The sun is shining, birds are tweeting, and a cool wind is blowing across the park. Steve lets out a slow breath, his shoulders starting to relax as he leans against a tree and watches Will and Lucas lay out a few blankets, Mike and Dustin get into an argument about the scale proportions of the Parthenon, and Max, Erica, and El throw a frisbee between them.
It's been a long month, one that seemed to be filled with more running and near-death experiences than they're used to. And they're used to a lot of running and near-death experiences.
So, taking a day to just relax in the park sounded great when El suggested it, but Steve had still hesitated. Who knows what could find them if they linger in a park too long. When he voiced these concerns, the kids just banded together to convince Steve, and he relented when they compromised on him bringing the nail bat along.
"Steve, do you wanna lay down?" Lucas asks, gesturing to the blankets. Will is already there, stretched out and smiling up at a rainbow stretching across the sky.
Steve joins them, pulls a Bluetooth speaker out of one of the backpacks holding the blankets down, and connects his phone. Music starts playing, and he sprawls across a blanket, pillowing his head on his arms and taking in the sunshine. "You know, this is nice," he says.
"Yeah. We should do this more often," Will whispers, nearly drowned out by the grass rustling in the breeze.
Between the breeze and the music, Steve starts to drift off, his breathing evening out as his mind wanders. He's half asleep when he hears Dustin shout, "It's a fucking one-to-one asshole!"
His words are quickly followed by Mike shouting back, "Who gives a shit?!"
Steve sighs and adds his own voice to the mix. "Stop fighting!"
"Yeah, guys, stop fighting," Max says, and Steve can imagine her tongue sticking out at them as he hears Erica snort.
"Oh, fuck you," Dustin shoots back.
"That's it!" Steve announces, sitting up and glaring at the kids. "Get over here."
His voice leaves no room for argument, and he'd feel bad at how the kids deflate if he didn't already know they're all menaces. Once he's got all seven kids on the blankets, he sighs and says, "Look, guys, let's not fight. How about we all just sit here for a bit, enjoy the breeze, and then we'll go get lunch."
The kids glance at each other, a silent conversation that Steve barely follows passing between them before Mike nods. "Yeah, sure, I guess."
"Great, now, just re--"
"Oh, how cute!"
The sudden, saccharine voice sets Steve's entire body on edge. He slowly looks over his shoulder, staring at the middle-aged woman smiling down at them. Something about her is familiarly off, but he tries to give her the benefit of the doubt. So, Steve flashes a charming smile and asks, "Hi, can I help you with something?"
The woman's smile turns a little sharp, and she shakes her head. "Oh, no, I just had to commend you on your ability to round up these kids like that," she explains.
Steve hums and pushes himself up, keeping a hold on his bat so he can rest the end on the ground and lean on it. He feels more than sees the kids start to shift until they're behind him. "Well, thanks. Did you want advice or something on caring for your own kids?" he asks.
She laughs, short and grating on Steve's ears, and then tilts her head not unlike a bird. "No, no. It's just impressive that you've managed to keep them alive for so long," she says, her voice distorting and becoming shriller as she speaks.
Yep. There it is.
"Wow, that's even faster than usual," Lucas says.
He's right, which just makes Steve even more upset. Can he not get more than fifteen minutes of peace? Can he not just lay back and enjoy the sunshine without worrying about some monster coming after his kids? Can he not fucking relax for once?
Steve feels the frustration build and build in his chest, crackling through him until he's ready to burst, and he stands up straighter. "I'll give you one warning," he says, his voice low as he watches feathers sprout from the woman's skin. "You walk away right now, and I won't beat the shit out of you."
The woman, who seems to be mostly bird by now and is probably a harpy, just laughs again, like Steve's told her the funniest joke she's ever heard. "You? Defeat me?" she asks, her eyes roaming over Steve before she laughs again. "I am worse than your nightmares. I have eaten more demigods than you can count. I have feasted on their screams and crunched their bones between my teeth, and I look forward to doing the same with these children. What could a lone son of some lesser god possibly do to stop me?"
From behind him, Steve hears a few of the kids inhale sharply, an almost sympathetic sound. "Well, she's done it now," Erica says.
"Yes. Steve is going to kill her," El agrees, her voice soft and brushing against Steve's ears like a tiny snake.
And yeah, they're right. Maybe Steve would have just beaten her unconscious and then gotten the hell out of dodge, but now she's threatened his kids. She's lost any chance at mercy from him.
With a twirl of his bat and a vicious grin, Steve rolls his shoulders back and says, "Wanna find out, overgrown chicken?" he asks.
He doesn't even bother waiting for an answer before swinging his bat, the nails dragging across the harpy's chest and ripping a shriek from her. Now that Steve is thinking about it, violence is also a great way to relieve stress, and he's certainly not going to look a gift harpy in the mouth.

Steddie Sick fic pt. 3
Pt 2
When they make it to the parking lot Steve is clearly having a time freeing himself from octopus Eddie who has decided to latch onto Steve with a single-minded determination. Gareth wishes he had a camera.
He can’t see what Harrington does to make Eddie let go but whatever it was was very effective as Eddie finally releases his grip and allows Steve to lay him down in the backseat. Dustin hands his keys back and accepts a hug from Steve before the freshman trots back over to them as Jonathan pulls into the parking lot. The boys wave to each other and then Steve is gone, taking Eddie with him.
“You think he’ll be okay?” Grant asks worriedly, they did just hand Eddie the Freak Munson, weak as a kitten, off to King Steve. The enormity of what just happened starts to hit them all and they start to panic.
“Oh fuck, oh god what if he kills him?”
“He wouldn’t do that right? The kids wouldn’t have called him if he would, right?!”
A sharp whistle cuts them off and they all turn to Lucas who pulls his fingers from his mouth, he gives them all a disappointed look, his hands settling on his hips like a small, angry soccer mom. “Steve is getting certified as an EMT. He’ll keep Eddie safe.”
“Why didn’t you just say so?” Gareth explodes, he was ready to tear his hair out worried about his friend.
“Steve doesn’t know that we know.” Mike says as he hands Dustin his backpack, Will is already off to go talk to his brother.
“Huh?” The band collectively replies.
“He’s scared he’ll fail. Doesn’t want to tell anyone until he’s sworn in, like there’s any chance he won’t be top of his class. He doesn’t know that we all know already, we’re planning a big party for him once he graduates. Of course Dustin has all the subtlety of a brick to the face so how Steve hasn’t figured out that he knows yet is the real surprise.” Lucas explains, giving Dustin some major side eye.
“Hey!”
Well that was kinda reassuring, didn’t people who did medical stuff have to take a vow to not hurt people or something like that?
“What’s going to happen when Eddie wakes up?” Oh boy.
~O~
Munson was scary light as Steve got him through the front door and onto the couch. He’d mumbled a few things into Steve’s neck when he got jostled as Steve kicked the front door closed behind them but settled down again shortly after.
“What was that?” He asked as he pushed Munson’s sweaty hair off his forehead.
“Had… dream…like this.” He mumbles and yeah Steve needs to get his fever down. He walks into the kitchen and finds a frozen bag of peas he used to use for sports injuries and after wrapping it up with a towel from the stove he plops the bag on Munson's face.
"Blindfolding me 'lready, sssso bold."
“You really never shut up do you?” He rests one arm on the couch arm, chin propped on the other with a slight smirk. He leans over Eddie and watches as the older boy drags the bag of peas to his chest to hold against his overheated core and blinks up at him with foggy, wet bambi eyes.
“C’n think… a feww ‘ays.” Munson tries to give him a flirty look back but his fever makes him uncoordinated so it looks more like his face just scrunches up uncomfortably. It makes Steve chuckle softly and Eddie lights up in response.
“Pretty… pretty boy.” He tries to reach up but Steve catches his hand and gently places it back on the pea ice pack. Munson was smart, pressing his wrists against it to help cool him down.
“I know I’m gorgeous Munson but let’s get you feeling better before you try to kiss me okay?”
“Promise?” Well, Steve feels like he should be surprised but considering Eddie has been basically spilling his sexuality in his fevered state, he’s just going to wait it out and see if Eddie remembers any of this later. And if he doesn’t then he will keep the older boy’s secret.
“We can talk about it when your fever breaks. Do you think you could keep some food down for me or would you rather take some Nyquil and sleep?”
Eddie looks queasy at just the mention of food so it’s not a surprise when he asks for sleep. Steve stands and goes to dig through his medicine cabinet, he knows he stocked up when Dustin had a cold from all the stress after Starcourt. After filling up the little cup with the medicine he fills another glass with some gatorade mixed with ice for him to wash it down.
Eddie’s breathing is still a little shallow when he returns, but hopefully the medicine will help with the fever breaking. He is able to haul Eddie up enough to get him to drink the medicine but struggles with getting him to sip the juice. Eventually Eddie places his hand over Steve’s to steady him so he’s not feeling waterboarded.
“Spose it’ss too late t’ ask, you di’n’t poison me right?”
Steve sets the glass aside since it seems like Eddie is done drinking. “No Munson, I’m not that jealous of you stealing my kids yet.”
“Nooo, not jel’uss. Kids luv you.” His slurring started to get worse as the meds kicked in.
“We can debate that in the morning, for now let’s get you in a bed.” He takes the melty bag of peas and sets them aside before scooping Eddie up again. Getting up the stairs leaves Steve huffing a bit, Eddie is light but he isn’t weightless. He says as such and gets a bite to the shoulder for his trouble.
“...u callin’ me fat?” He pouts and weakly tries to squirm away.
“No Eddie you’re the prettiest princess at the ball I assure you. I will search the whole kingdom to find out who could ever fit into your scuffed up Docs.” Steve snorts but Eddie looks pleased as punch at Steve’s proclamation.
“Damn straight.” Eddie sighs tiredly, his head lolling against Steve’s shoulder. “Don’ wanna wake up.”
“Wake up from what Eddie?” He asks as he lays Eddie in the guest bed, he kneels down to tug off Eddie’s boots and set them aside. Talking to Eddie is like conversing with a sleep talker at this point.
“Dream, you bein’ niccce.”
“What would you like me to say in this dream of yours then? Before you wake up.” He asks, looking up at Eddie from where he’s kneeling in front or the other, hands gripping his shins to keep his balance. He’s not expecting Eddie to reach out and touch his cheek with icy fingers.
“Ssssuch a crussh on you…school.”
Steve’s cheeks explode with color at that admission and he quickly stands up to lay Eddie down and tuck him in. Eddie is out as soon as he hits the pillow. Steve runs a hand through his hair and sighs as he watches Eddie Munson curl around his pillow in his sleep and let out a loud snore.
Shaking his head he leaves the door cracked open and heads back downstairs to clean up and watch some tv before bed.

Eddie finding Steve asleep sitting in the kitchen, waiting for the popcorn in the microwave, while the party are playing D&D. Eddie gently waking him up, accidentally letting some of his endearment show when he calls him angel and tells him to go get some sleep, that Eddie got it from here.
(I wrote a short little ficlet for this, I hope that's ok!)
“Alright! Enough!” Eddie tries and fails to be heard over the ruckus of seven teenagers each trying to get out of doing a task.
“Shut up!!!” he finally gets out at a register that demands attention. He is the DM after all, and a part of him preens at the way their startled, open-mouthed faces all turn toward him expectantly.
“I, your benevolent leader, will go refill the snacks,” he offers magnanimously. “While you all,” and this he punctuates with a sweeping gesture, “figure out how you’re going to get out of this dungeon without attracting the attention of Ezrog the Goblin King.”
There’s a new round of squabbling at that, Mike and Dustin convinced that they should take the west stairwell (a trap) while Gareth and Lucas arguing that they should swim out through the underground river (a good idea, Eddie begrudgingly admits).
He grabs the candy wrappers and empty soda cans within his reach and ascends the stairs from the Wheelers’ basement. He follows the scent of popcorn and a profoundly irritating beeping noise to the kitchen where he finds Steve perched on a barstool, slumped over the kitchen counter, fast asleep.
Eddie suddenly feels breathless. He’s never seen Steve so peaceful, so vulnerable. His hair is sticking up at all angles, he’s snoring slightly, and is that— it certainly is, there’s a bit of drool in the corner of his mouth. The permanent furrow between his brows is relaxed in sleep, although the dark circles under his eyes are still noticeable. Eddie knows Steve hasn’t been sleeping well. None of them have, still unable to feel truly safe.
Eddie tiptoes around Steve, careful not to wake him, and finds a cooling bag of popcorn in the microwave. Something clenches in Eddie’s chest. He hadn’t even heard Steve arrive, but here he is preparing snacks, taking care of them like always.
As quietly as possible, he takes the popcorn out of the microwave to stop that infernal beeping (how Steve is able to sleep through it is beyond him) and pours the popcorn into a bowl, grabs a few other things from the cabinet, and organizes them on the counter. He leans over toward Steve, as close as he dares, fingers ghosting over Steve’s hair, his cheek, admiring his long lashes and the freckles that dust his skin. He settles for gently grasping Steve’s shoulder.
“Steve, wake up,” he whispers. Steve mumbles something and then buries his face in the crook of his arm. Eddie can’t stop himself from reaching out and touching Steve’s hair, his heart bursting with fondness.
“Angel, you can’t sleep here, you’ll hurt your back,” he whispers slightly louder. Immediately he realizes what he let slip and waits, frozen, for Steve’s reaction. But Steve just grunts, and doesn’t move.
“Steve, man, c’mon,” Eddie tries again, and this time Steve lifts his head and looks at Eddie blearily.
“Wha-“ he gets out, looking adorably confused.
“You fell asleep in the kitchen,” Eddie can’t help but smile. “Come on, let’s get you over to the couch. You can nap there. The heathens and I still have quite a bit longer in the campaign, plenty of time for you to get some rest.”
Eddie helps (well, more like manhandles) Steve over to the living room couch, thrilling at the way Steve’s body is pressed to his side, loose-limbed and uncareful. Steve drops to the couch and is immediately asleep again, sprawled on his back, looking every bit the teenager he is. Eddie forgets that Steve is only 19, with how much he’s seen and done. But here, at rest, he is young, pure, holy. Eddie’s savior in more ways than one. He grabs a blanket off the armchair and spreads it over Steve, tucking it in on the sides. Stoops down in a semblance of a forehead kiss, just breathing in the scent of Steve’s hair, relishing a stolen moment of closeness.
“Sleep tight, angel.”
-
Three days later, Eddie finds himself in the passenger seat of Steve’s BMW, bickering, as usual, about music. He finds a sick sense of joy in being able to go toe-to-toe against Steve Harrington, King of Hawkins High, even if it’s about something innocuous, like the merits (or complete lack thereof) of Steve’s favorite band.
“Listen, Harrington, listen!” Eddie is getting into it now, feeling himself metaphorically jumping on top of his cafeteria table pedestal. “Wham! is the devil’s music! It’s demonic, only hellspawn can listen to that shit without their ears bleeding.”
Steve glares at him for a brief moment, before his expression fades into a cocky smirk. “Hellspawn?” He meets Eddie’s eyes. “I thought I was an angel.”

The cafeteria is buzzing with conversation, including the table where you sit amongst the Hellfire boys. Mike and Lucas are arguing over something–you can’t be bothered to pay attention to their constant squabbles anymore–while Dustin is whining about his failing Spanish grade to Gareth and Jeff.
The only ones not talking are you and, surprisingly, Eddie. He’s nibbling on a pretzel, reminding you of one of the bunny rabbits that congregates in your yard. You’re not exactly sure why he’s so quiet, but you take this opportunity to whisper, “Can we go out to your van for a sec?”
His eyebrows pinch together in confusion; if you wanted weed from him, you would wait until after school hours to buy. Well, buy wasn’t the right word, considering Eddie always gave you yours for free.
“Yeah, sure,” he says, sliding his chair back from the table without bothering to push it back in. If one of the meathead jocks happens to trip over it and twist an ankle before their precious game, that’s not his problem.
You wait until you’re outside, away from anyone who could possibly overhear the absurd request you’re about to make, before you start speaking. “So, um, you know how I have that date tonight? With Mark?” you ask, biting your lower lip nervously. You can taste the strawberry gloss that you’d reapplied after finishing lunch.
Eddie’s already digging through the glove compartment for the baggie he keeps stashed away. “You want some for him, too?” His tone is impatient; irritated, even, as he pulls out the blunt he’s already rolled for you. “Because I only brought one.” For you, he adds silently.
“Wha–oh, no; I didn’t need any weed,” you tell him, shaking your head before dropping your gaze to the gravel beneath your feet. “It’s our third date, and I was thinking he might wanna…y’know…do stuff?” You cringe at the phrasing, but press on. “But I…I don’t really know how.”
“Sweetheart, if you’re confessing your virgin status to me, I already know,” Eddie says with a smirk. “I mean, we’ve been friends for a million years. If you did it and didn’t tell me, I’d be pissed.”
You manage a giggle at his candidness. “Nope, still a virgin,” you report miserably. “And last time, he asked me to give him head, but I told him I had to get home. Not because I didn’t want to, but because I didn’t wanna do it wrong.”
Eddie shrugs. “Just don’t use teeth,” he replies casually. “Other than that, there isn’t much you can do wrong.” He starts back towards the school, pausing when he realizes that you’re not by his side. “Look, I don’t have any other tips. I’ve only ever been on the, uh, receiving end of dick sucking.”
“Yeah, well,” you mumble, shoving your hands in your pockets and brushing the toe of your sneaker against the ground, “that’s kinda what I wanted to ask you. I was thinking that maybe I could…practice on you?”
Eddie’s eyes practically pop out of his head. “You…you wanna do what?”
“Forget it. It’s stupid, I’m sorry. Can we never talk about this again?” Tears well up in your eyes, and you try to blink them away before he can notice. What were you thinking? Asking your best friend if you could give him a blowjob?
“Hey, no, I just wanted to make sure that’s what you meant.” He smiles, letting his hand graze yours. “Do you mind…in my van?”
You nod, returning his smile with your own shy one. “Um, yeah. I mean, no, I don’t mind. I can give you head in your van.”
Eddie swallows a lump in his throat, opening the back door and helping you inside. He lays down on the shag carpet–the one you always tease him about–and pats his thigh. “C’mon over.” He watches as you timidly straddle his waist, trying not to sit down on his lap. “You’re not gonna crush me, y’know,” he jokes lightly. “And even if you did, s’not like I’d be mad about it.”
You hesitate but ultimately let yourself rest on him; immediately, his cock starts to stiffen, and you pull back. “Shit, I-”
“S’okay,” Eddie says, tilting his head. He’s not about to let you know that this isn’t the first time you’ve gotten him hard; just the first time you know about. “Whenever you’re ready.”
Fingers fumbling with his belt, you pull on the strip of leather until the shiny metal clasp unhooks from its notch. He undoes the silver button on his pants but lets you tug his zipper down until you get a glimpse of his blue-and-white checked boxers. “Can I take these off?” you ask.
“Y-Yeah, ‘course,” he stutters, sitting back on his elbows to give you more leverage. You have to keep yourself from gawking at his hardened length as it rests against his Iron Maiden shirt, tip leaking a pearly bead of pre-cum. He mistakes your awe for nerves, and he quickly adds, “if you changed your mind, I’m not gonna be mad or anything–”
“No,” you shake your head. “I just d-don’t know where to start.”
Relief visibly floods his body. “I like being teased a little. Like, kissing it or licking it–holy fucking shit.” His train of thought is abruptly cut off when your tongue flattens against the base of his shaft, dragging upwards until you reach the head. His lithe fingers grab onto the collar of your cotton t-shirt, twisting the fabric around them just to steady himself.
“Like that?” you ask, giving him eyes that are far too innocent for someone who just coated his dick with her saliva.
“J-Jus’ like that,” Eddie nods, gripping your shirt tighter as your lips brush against his length with tiny, measured pecks. “And then you’ll wanna–fuck–wanna focus on the tip. Wrap your lips around it, there you go.” His toes curl as you lower your mouth, licking at the saltiness. “Make, like, circles w-with your tongue.”
You do as he says, feeling him twitch against your parted lips. A wanton moan escapes him, and it’s music to your ears. A sign that you’re doing something right.
“When you’re ready—Jesus H. Christ, your mouth feels s’fucking good—hollow out your cheeks and kinda…glide down? I dunno, all the blood is rushing to my dick right now.”
You blanche as you reposition yourself, glancing at his girth. “Eddie, I…I don’t think I can fit all of you in my mouth.”
His fingernails could tear through your shirt with the grip he has. “Shit, y-you can’t say that. Actually, you can. Tell me how fuckin’ big I am, baby.”
Baby. You try not to let this new pet name distract you as you say, “you’re huge, Eddie. I won’t be able to take it.”
“Yeah? Gonna choke on my cock?” Eddie growls, momentarily forgetting his role as oral sex tutor. “S-Sorry. Um, if you can’t, you can use your hand to help you out.”
“Okay,” you nod, crouching back down. One hand rests on his thigh while the other wraps around the base of his dick. He hisses at your touch, and you smile despite the butterflies in your stomach.
“M-Might help if you spit on it. My, um, my dick.”
The trail of saliva drips down until it reaches his wiry patch of pubic hair. You swirl your tongue around his tip a few more times for good measure before opening your mouth a bit wider and bringing your head down.
“Thassit, keep doin’ that. Don’t worry about getting it all; jus’ do what you can.” His knees tremble as you move a bit faster. “You can do the t-tongue thing when you come back up. I really like that, fuck.”
You want to ask about the pace: is it too fast? Too slow? But when you lift your gaze to meet his—your lips still on his length—he lets out a whimper. A fucking whimper.
“Yes, look at me, baby. Look at me while you blow me,” he pants. “Wanna see your cute little mouth stuffed full of my cock.” And if that wasn’t enough, what he says next could stop a bullet in mid-air: “You’re better than I ever imagined.”
That’s enough to warrant you to ask a follow-up question, and Eddie could cry when you pull away. “You imagined this?”
“Mhm,” he squeaks out. “Wanted you f’so long. Please just keep going. Please don’t stop.”
So you don’t. You find your rhythm, using his groans and twitches to find what he really likes. It’s messy and different but so fucking right.
“Hnng, baby, ‘m gonna cum. You might wanna—”
But you shake your head gently, not wanting to break the momentum you’ve built. You lock eyes with him, silently telling him that it’s okay.
“Fuck, you’re perfect. You can spit it out if you don't wanna swallow, pretty girl. B-but ‘m about to c-cum—fucking shit!” You take as much of him as you can until you start to gag, and you feel his hot release hit the back of your throat. It’s a lot; much more than you’d anticipated, but you swallow it all.
Eddie stares at you incredulously, momentarily speechless. “Did you just…?”
“Was I not supposed to?” The intimacy of it only dawns on you now. He’s just teaching you, and now you’re going on a date with someone after swallowing his cum. “Shit, I’m sorry.”
He barks out a laugh. “Do not apologize for that. Just wasn’t expecting it.” He sits all the way up, adjusting his softening dick and re-fastening his pants. “So…that’s how you give a blowjob. Any questions?”
There’s an awkward silence as you contemplate, ultimately deciding to ask. I mean, you’d just performed oral sex on him; he could answer a measly personal question.
“When you said you wanted me for so long…did you mean that? Or were you just saying it?”
Eddie’s gaze is suddenly glued to the van floor. “Look, you’re with Mark now. I can’t…”
“Did. You. Mean. It?” You cross your arms over your chest, waiting for his response.
He relents after a moment. “Yes, I meant it. I’ve had this big, stupid crush on you, but I kept making excuses not to ask you out, and then you got with Mark—”
You cut his rant short with a clumsy kiss, noses hitting each other as you press your lips to his. You stumble a bit and he catches you, bringing his hands to your hips. “I have a big, stupid crush on you, too,” you admit, “but I figured you would’ve asked me out if you felt the same way.”
This time, Eddie kisses you, soft and sweet. “I can taste myself on your lips,” he murmurs into you. One finger grazes your pants button. “Do me a favor?”
“Yes, I’ll cancel with Mark,” you say, teasing but truthful.
“I mean, you fuckin’ better,” he laughs, but he shakes his head. “Nah, I need you to lie down f’me.”
Your brow creases. “Why?”
“A gentleman always returns the favor.”

HI!! I’m the original anon that asked abt the bsd fnaf au and!!! Oh my god it’s so interesting!!! I love your choices for the characters… especially Yosano as the puppet and dazai as Michael afton it fits both of their characters so well and just !!!!
YEah so Dazai was definitely the original reason I started thinking about this au. Firstly to give him unnecessary trauma, but also I think Dazai being in a hero/protagonist role is far more interesting than him being the mastermind to the plans. Need more of Dazai getting rough and dirty. Actively grabbing the plot by the reins. I'm tired of how he gets used by asagiri. I NEED HIM TO FAIL.
So firstly, Michael is a really cool character (for such a barely present one) because he's simultaneously a bad guy but also a person trying to do good, and definitely not a hero. It fits well with Dazai's premise. Alternatively I think Michael being a zombie, a ghost possessing his own corpse, would be an interesting concept to apply onto Dazai. Dazai who believe he's No Longer Human, and craves death because he doesn't want to exist, because living is painful. Now in this au Dazai actually died, but he didn't stop existing. He should be dead and gone but he isn't, he survived, but he's still undead and decaying. He is literally no longer human but now he longs to be human. Life was painful but death is Excruciating, and Dazai never liked pain.
I also think the dynamic between Dazai and Q is far more darker twisted than whatever Mike and Crying Child had (considering Q said Dazai was the reason of their suffering, and Daz seems to genuinely detest Q). But if you recontext them into a normal sibling dynamic, it really could end with Dazai accidently killing Q.
Anyways misc things about fnaf!Dazai: I think the timeline would be: 14 during 1983, 16 in 1985, 17 when Elise dies, 18 in 1987 (in order to get an overnight security job), between 18-22 for Sister Location when he dies, and 24 for Fnaf 1 in 1992. All the dead kids have a personal connection to Dazai in a way, which is why he continues on with his mission. Shortly after Elise's death, Dazai learns about Mori's crimes and tries to get Fukuzawa to help him take him down, but Fukuzawa refuses, so for majority of the story, Dazai is on his own, until he finally reconciles with Golden Feddy (aka ghost Q and Aku) and they team up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
here's him. He usually has a security uniform jacket on but I wanted to make it known that he still does the bandages. He wears a wig and illusion disks(lmao. if you know, you know) to look a little more human. And Dazai never wore bandages except for his arms before he died, and he always covered the bandages with his sleeves. After being scooped, Dazai wears bandages more to hold his body together. He has a lot of exposed leftover wires from Ennard and a lot of torn up patches of skin. He also has the hollow possessed eyes like the other ghosts.
Onto Yosano as the Puppet! I don't have as much to say because I thought this was a relatively obvious decision. Mori's first victim. Her healing powers can fit in a way to the Puppets life/possession giving powers. She's Fukuzawa's daughter in this universe. she's 11 when she dies.
Here's her Ghost Form :)

Stevo with a small nerdy gf. She definitely a bad bitch but in the way that she’s just comfortable in herself and who she is. Gives off major dude-bro energy but not in an awkward obnoxious way. Feel like that would be perfect for him
Love thissss!!!
𝒫ℯ𝓇𝒻ℯ𝒸𝓉
Warnings- blood, you get into a fight.. jealousy, fluffy tho!! Stevo smokes weed at one point
Tumblr media
Your arms were folded as you walked, the party was loud, tons of people, not your style or your thing. You stepped on a broken piece of glass (luckily with your shoes) you looked down and back up at Stevo, who was already far ahead.
You quickly walked over to him again, and he looked back at you. “You okay?”
“I’m fine.” You said, looking at him again. You set your eyes on his familiar group, the people you were more cool with. Bob, and Mike and a couple other of his friends.
You sat down and you said hi to them, making small conversation.
“How’ve you been? Haven’t seen you around much anymore. Thought you both broke up or something.”
Stevo elbowed Bob for that.
“Nah.” You laughed “I’m there when your not.”
Bob furrowed his eyebrows and then his eyes widened as he realized. “Gross.”
Stevo laughed at his reaction.
Mike and you were pretty good friends, you both were very alike.
You and stevo made your way to everyone, some people asking who you were. You introduced yourself to them and most people liked you.
Most people.
One girl seemed to have a problem with you, you don’t know her name and Stevo didn’t know her either. You both had been there for a while now.
She stared at you, and then she went up to Stevo, who was right in front of you.
She said hi, flirting with him as you stood there. You grew angry at her, but you waited until she tried to make a move on him.
She leaned in his ear, looking at you while she whispered.
“Come on, lose the nerd. Come upstairs.”
Stevo looked back at you now. He wouldn’t do it, you knew that.
You were clearly annoyed, and stevo knew exactly what would happen before it happened.
You went up to the woman, who had backed away from stevo in shock. You punched her in the face, she gasped and tried to do the same but she failed, her swing hit the air. You practically jumped on her, punching her again and again. All hell broke loose in the party.
People cheered on.
Stevos eyes widened as he handed his drink to someone. Hands grabbed your waist, you shouted curses at the woman as he picked and dragged you off and outside the party, Bob running behind you both. He threw you over his shoulder as he talked.
“What were you thinking? I wasn’t gonna-“ he put you down on the curb outside the house, you sat down and his eyes went down.
Your hands were bloodied, you hadn’t noticed until he looked down at them. You just stared and stood up, you both walked to the car in silence, Bob following.
Stevo drove quickly back to his place. Bob gave you worried glances.
“Slow down man.” Bob put a hand on his shoulder. The grip he had on the steering wheel had his knuckles turning white. You held your bleeding knuckles and looked back at him.
He did slow down, thankfully. And soon he parked the car and got out, you and Bob followed.
You quickly went into the bathroom, knocking things down in the process as you winced, holding your hand again. Stevo walked in, seeing your struggle.
“Move. Please.” He mumbled, but you continued to try and find the bandages. He saw them and he grabbed them for you, gently moving you off from the counter. You hopped down, and you looked at him.
He wordlessly grabbed your hands, you were gonna protest but he turned on the water, running your hand under it. He ran it under the cold water for a few minutes, then you closed the toilet seat and sat on it as he grabbed a gauze pad and dipped it in some saline solution.
He made his way back to you, got on his knees and dabbed it on the wounds carefully. He was concentrated, but you were worried.
Then he grabbed the bandages, wrapping them around your hands.
He looked up at you now.
“Are you okay?”
“I’m fine, Stevo. What’s wrong?”
He shouldn’t say it, he couldn’t. He thought of an answer.
“Nothing. I’m fine.”
“No you’re not. What’s wrong, Stevo?”
You knew him too well.
“I just don’t want you getting hurt. I care about you too much.” He shrugged. “God, I feel like such a damn poser when I’m with you.” He mumbled the last part.
Your eyes widened at the confession. It was rare for him to be affectionate like that, personal.
You smiled at him. “Thank you. For the…” you looked down at your hands and he nodded, sighing as he stood up.
“You wanna go down to the drive in movie theater?” He asked you. You smiled and he already knew the answer.
——————————————————————
You explained the movie to him, he stared and nodded while rolling up a joint.
“Mmmm… but I still don’t get it. Why don’t they all just like… i dunno… kill the robot? Why does that not work?” He asked when you stopped.
“Because, guns won’t do shit to it. Plus, body armor. Even if you do manage to get through it, one shot won’t do nothing. The desert eagle is the most effective one against them, but even that won’t really kill it.” You rambled on while eating, he raised his eyebrows at you, not really understanding but listening and nodding his head.
“Ohhh… I’m gonna be honest I have no clue what any of that means.” He said with a giggle, and turned back to the screen.
You smiled and rolled your eyes at him. When you were enveloped in the movie, he glanced towards you most of it. He felt like a teenager all over again.
You were perfect, in his mind.

Royal Pain Part 8
Hello! I don’t know if it’s that it’s summer or what, but I’ve seen a sharp decline on my stories, so I just wanted to check and make sure everyone was okay. Take care of yourselves.
The hunt for the new apprentices start, they make room, and Eddie and Steve talk the design for the tattoo.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7
***
Steve got the biggest, most caffeinated drink on the menu and had downed half of it before he pulled up to Erica’s apartment complex. He put his in the cupholder and then grabbed the tray with Robin and Erica’s coffees plus breakfast.
He trotted up the stairs to Erica’s apartment and knocked on the door. Erica answered the door groggily. She spotted coffee first and grabbed it out his grasp.
Robin took her coffee gratefully from Erica as Steve pulled out their breakfast.
“Bacon, egg, and cheddar on an English muffin for Robin,” he said handing to her. “Fruit salad with whip cream for me and a sausage, egg, and Swiss on a croissant for Erica.”
Again Erica made grabby hands at Steve, who handed it to her.
Once they were fed and on their way, Erica asked, “So what’s all this about anyway?”
Steve looked at her through the rearview mirror. “I’m thinking of taking on a couple of apprentices at the shop so I can focus on doing a large back tattoo.”
“Suzie was telling the truth?” Erica gasped. “Holy shit. I thought she was making shit up. Because there was no way you are cool enough to do a back tattoo for Eddie Munson.”
Steve turned around and glared at her.
Robin smacked him. “Turn around and drive, dingus. I would rather not die today, thanks.”
Erica stuck her tongue at him and he tapped the breaks to get back at her.
“You should let me apprentice for you,” she said as they pulled up to Will’s apartment building. “I have the steadiest hands, from all those years painting tiny ass figures for D&D.”
Steve sighed. “I was hoping to find people who have already started working toward being a tattoo artist, but failing that, I guess I could teach you.”
He got out of the car and leaned back in. “I swear to god, if either of you touch my coffee, you’ll be walking home from here.”
He slammed the door.
“How serious do you think he was?” Erica asked, eyeing the caffeinated beverage with want.
“Don’t try it,” Robin warned her. “The last time someone messed with his coffee, he drove them to the complete other side of town and told them they could find their own way home.”
“Who was this?” Erica asked, rolling her eyes. “Mike?”
Robin twisted in her seat to look Erica in the eye. “Dustin.”
Erica looked at the coffee in the cup holder and then nodded. “Right. No touching the coffee.”
“Smart girl.”
Will and Steve came out moments later, so there wasn’t really time to mess with the coffee, anyway.
“Erica,” Steve said after opening the door again. “We’re going to divide and conquer. You’re going to go with Will to the colleges and shit. Robin and I are going to hit up the bars and clubs. We’ll meet at Nicki’s Diner for lunch in about three or so hours.”
Erica saluted and got out of the car to go with Will. “Roger, roger!”
Steve put his stack of fliers on the back seat and got into his car. He waved at Will and Erica and then drove off.
They had made a list Sunday night and started at one end of town and worked their way through asking if they could put up their flier. At some of the trendier bars and clubs they got turned down, but most of them let them put it up on their community boards.
They are both tired and hungry by the time they make it to Nicki’s to meet up with Will and Erica.
“We managed to put up every flier we had,” Erica said proudly.
“Yeah,” Will said, “I even had to print out ten more to hand out.”
Steve and Robin shared a glance.
“Wait, really?” Steve asked. “Robin and me barely got through our stack.”
Will nodded. “I’m so happy you’re doing this. I’ve been telling you for the last year to get more people in your shop.”
Steve sighed, pulling up the menu to look it over. “I know. I’m actually really excited about this. I probably won’t get more than a couple applicants but even if it’s just me training someone how to tattoo, they can at least do initial sessions of talking out ideas and shit for the clients that will take more than one session. Or even start offering henna that they could practice with in the mean time.”
“Me and my friends do henna all the time,” Erica said. “It’s fun trying to find colors that show up on darker skin tones.”
Steve straightened up. “Oh. Now that’s an idea. Jeff was telling me that it was hard to find a tattoo artist that could do dark skin, because a lot of artists forget that black on black doesn’t show up.” He looked at her and rubbed his lip thoughtfully.
“Would you be willing to do henna at my shop?” he asked. “I’d be able to pay you.”
Erica and Robin shared a glance.
“Does this mean you won’t teach me how to tattoo?” she asked, eyeing him sidelong.
Steve shook his head. “If you want to learn, I’ll teach you. I just don’t want this to be a fun summer thing for you and then when you go back to school in the fall, you never pick up a tattoo gun ever again.”
Erica paused. “Oh. I see what you mean.” She thought about it for a moment before she nodded. “For this summer at least, I’ll stick to the henna and if after this summer is over, I can pick whether to go back to school or stay with you and train to be tattoo artist.”
Steve stuck out his hand and she shook it.
He paid for all their lunch as thank you for helping him put up the fliers.
*
They spent the rest of the day clearing out the other rooms that would be used for the new artists. They got the chairs set up and them set up to take clients. Most of the stuff was already there, just waiting for Steve to make the decision to hire more people.
They took to cleaning and decorating the rooms to match the rest of the of shop.
They ended up ordering pizza and continued to work until late at night. Finally it was all done. This was the easy part. The hard part was waiting to see if anyone would answer the flier. Or their online messages.
Steve took the younger adults home and then practically crawled up the stairs to the apartment with Robin.
“You know this is entirely your fault,” she said, totally devoid of sympathy. “You didn’t have to spend all night talking to Eddie. You could have stopped at any time and actually got some sleep.”
Steve didn’t even bother rolling his eyes he was that tired. “Just let me die in peace, please.”
Robin pushed him in the direction of their bathroom. “Take a shower at least, dude. And then crash. You’ll thank me and yourself in the morning.”
Steve nodded, already swaying on his feet. He got into the shower and let the heat wash over of his tired, aching body and sighed in relief. He carefully washed his hair, but only did a perfunctory scrub down of his body.
He got out and smiled when he saw that Robin had placed his pajamas in there while he was showering. He pulled on the clothes she set out for him and padded back out to their apartment in bare feet.
“Feel better?” Robin asked from their sofa.
Steve sighed. “Yeah, yeah. It has long been established that you are smarter than me.”
“Hell, yeah,” she said with a grin. “Now go to bed before you pass out on the carpet.”
Steve nodded and went to do as he was told.
He slept deeply for the first time in a long time.
*
Steve tried not to let his anticipation get to him as he worked on other tattoos, waiting for Eddie to come in. He was pretty sure he failed judging from the smirk on Robin’s face when Eddie finally arrived.
“Hey, Eds!” he greeted cheerfully. “We’ll go over some ideas I had and I can start laying the ground work for those wings of yours.”
Eddie grinned. “I can’t wait to see what you have for me, big boy!”
Robin raised an eyebrow at the pet name, but wisely said nothing as Steve led Eddie back to Steve’s work station.
“I saw the other rooms were opened,” Eddie said as he took a seat. “You’re really serious about the getting more people in here to work for you, huh?”
Steve nodded. “Yeah, I’m a little nervous, but mostly? I’m hella excited.”
Eddie smiled fondly at him. “Certainly sounds like it. Show me what you got.” He made grabby hands at the drawing book Steve had picked up.
“You have any ideas of your own that you’d want to do or thoughts on what you think it should look like?” Steve asked flipping to the start of his ideas for Eddie’s tattoo.
He shook his head. “Not really, other than size. I want them all the way down my back.”
Steve nodded again. “I wasn’t sure, so there are a couple of wings that are just on the shoulder blades. You can ignore those.”
Eddie was looking at the different styles of wings and inward facing verses outward facing when a small piece of paper fluttered out of the book on the floor. He bent over to pick it and was opening it when Steve snatched it out his hand.
“Um...” Steve said. “That’s not really anything, just a stupid idea I had after listening to you talking to Dustin on Sunday.”
Eddie cocked his head to the side. “Come on, I want to see it. I promise not to laugh or poke fun.”
Steve held to his chest for a moment and then handed the paper back to Eddie, heart in hand.
Eddie opened the paper up and there was a close to accurate rendition of his back with a pair of leathery bat wings, just like a lot of the designs in the drawing book. But in the middle of the two wings along the spine was a sword. It was a one-handed sword with a wavy blade that started at the base of the spine with the hilt and went all the way up to the nape of the neck with the point. The cross guard was in the shape of a bat and it was black.
It was beautiful.
“Holy fuck, Stevie,” Eddie said, breathless. “What is this?”
Steve blushed. “It’s the sword of Kas.I was thinking on one side of the blade have it say bloody-handed crossed out and then other side have it say betrayer.”
“This.” Eddie tapped the paper. “I want this. All of this. Including what you just said about the words. I want it.”
Steve’s jaw dropped and then he gulped. “It’s going to cost an awful lot. Like more then you were probably planning on spending, though.”
Eddie threw back his head and laughed. “Sweetheart, I’ve been saving up for this tattoo for years. I have roughly four thousand saved up. I don’t think it’s going to be the problem you think it will.”
Steve gently took back the paper. “You really want to do this?”
“Yeah, I really, really do,” Eddie said, smiling up at him.
A slow, sweet smile blossomed on Steve’s face. “All right. Let me scan this so I can print out the stencils and we’ll get started.”
“I can’t hardly wait.”

When love and hate Collide
Summary; Eddie and yn can't stand each other and it drives the Hellfire boys crazy...
There's a thin line between love and hate... Right?
Warnings; illusion to smut, arguing, enemies to lovers.
If you enjoyed this story please consider giving it a reblog, comment, etc.
Tumblr media
I don't give anyone permission to copy my work.
I might make a part two if anyone wants that 💞
💞💞
Eddie stalked into Hellfire Club with a sour look on his face, an epic rant was coming and Dustin, Lucas, and Mike exchanged knowing looks at who could put Eddie in such a mood.
Gareth sighs and counts under his breath.
"3...2...1"
"Do you know what yn did this time" Eddie explodes and Gareth grins. It was like clockwork with Eddie and his favorite cheerleader.
"Not really but I'm sure you'll tell us," Jeff says rolling his eyes. Eddie either misses the sarcastic tone or ignores it completely.
He paces the floor, playing with the rings on his hand as he mutters to himself.
"Who does she think she is? Running around in that stupid little cheer skirt, all sweet smiles and shit. She's a viper!"
Dustin frowns.
"Dude what did she do?" Eddie turns to Dustin his big brown eyes wide.
"She said... words fail Eddie for a moment, she implied that I pick fights with her and not the other way around! She gets under my fucking skin! She's everywhere I look and it's driving me nuts. I can't stand her"
They heard the same argument from Eddie every day, sometimes twice. Heard the arguments in the halls, seen the tension and the way Eddie and yn were like magnets that drew them together.
They saw how anytime the other was distracted by something or someone else how annoyed they would get.
They noticed Eddie staring at her all the time and they noticed the way yn would flounce around in front of Eddie and get his attention.
The two of them drove each other crazy and were beginning to have the same effect on the Hellfire Club.
"Can we lock them in an empty room and they can just argue it all out?" Lucas suggests and Gareth whispers to Jeff so the younger members don't hear.
"Lock them in Eddie's trailer so they can fuck it out more like" Eddie glares at him.
"What was that?" Gareth shrugs.
"Nothing, can't we start with the campaign now man? Get your mind off yn?" to all their relief he agrees.
💖💖
All Mike wanted to do was ask Eddie about the new campaign but the metalhead's attention was elsewhere.
Tumblr media
His burning gaze was directed to the cheerleading table and on yn and Eric one of the basketball team's star players.
Eric was gazing at her with a glazed look in his eyes, eyeing her up and down and looking like he was in some amazing dream.
"It's pathetic, Eddie snaps. Look at the asshole. He's practically eye fucking her. It's nauseating when I'm trying to eat"
"Well don't look," Mike tells him annoyed and Eddie huffs.
"How can I not Wheeler? It's so bad I can't tear my eyes away" thankfully his attention is eventually drawn away by one of his heavy metal magazines.
All is quiet.
Gareth has a shit-eating grin on his face and turns to Eddie.
"Dude, oh my God. She's kissing him" Eddie turns around so fast he almost hurts his neck and finds yn and Eric in the same position, not kissing and glares at Gareth.
"Not cool douchebag" he then begins to draw or write in his Hellfire notebook then tears out the page, scrunches it up, and throws it over to yn.
It lands on her lunch tray and she opens it and then turns to Eddie her attention firmly on him.
"Eddie Munson!" to Mike's bafflement Eddie is trying to hide his smile and is it just him or does yn look secretly relieved that Eddie threw that note?
Girls were weird, he adored Eddie but sometimes Mike couldn't understand the Dungeon Master either.
Did they actually like fighting? Did Eddie secretly just want all of her attention on him?
El was a superhero, super-powered and she was less complicated than these two.
💞💞
Eddie was late for the team meeting. He was never late. On top of the worry about their DM, Dustin had overhead Chrissy ask Robin worriedly if she had seen yn anywhere.
With both of them missing alarm filled the Hellfire boys.
"You don't think they actually killed each other do you?" Lucas asks in horror and Jeff calms him down.
"No, Eddie would never hurt her, and vice versa, it's all words and annoying the hell out of each other, they'll show up"
Meanwhile in the woods...
They had been arguing again, she wasn't sure what over this time. Eddie said something sarcastic, she replied, and then they were fighting.
Now they were lost in the woods near the school, and due to the yelling at each other, neither of them noticed how far in the woods they were.
"This is all your fault," she tells Eddie who stops pacing and rolls his eyes.
"My fault! I was in the middle of a deal when you came marching up to me and accused me of stealing your precious boyfriend's letterman jacket"
"Eric is not my boyfriend" she replies and feels a headache coming on. He was impossible, he never listened.
"Whatever princess" the princess nickname made her fume and she stalks up to him.
"Why do I have to be stuck in the woods with you of all people? You are arrogant, rude, mean" he chimes in.
"Oh like you're a Saint? Remember Nicola Brown? She sat beside me and asked me if I would like to hang out and you got all angry because my attention wasn't on you for five minutes, you're bitchy, you're mean and dramatic"
"Says you? Eddie Munson who makes a scene every day in the cafeteria. God, I can't stand you"
Eddie smirks, he's so close to her now and her whole body feels like it's on fire.
"Feelings very mutual princess" the tension between them explodes and before she can even think about what she's doing she kisses him or maybe he kisses her?
Either way, fireworks go off in her head and Eddie is moaning softly he backs her up against a tree, her legs wrap around his waist and it feels so good that she doesn't want to stop.
Their clothes begin to litter the forest ground and she can't think of anything except Eddie being buried deep inside her and their moans that fill the air.
💞💞
Eddie walks into the club meeting with a strange look on his face. It's a mix of being totally blissed out and freaked out.
"What the fuck happened to you man?" Jeff asks and he shakes his head.
"Woods, got lost"
"What and you got tangled up in a bush?" Gareth jokes and motions to the twigs and leaves in Eddie's hair.
"I got tangled up in something" he replies dazed and sits down leaving the boys at a loss to what the hell happened in the woods.
💞💞

Steve has never really let himself care about Halloween. In high school he was too cool for that dorky shit – it was just an excuse to throw a party; to choose whatever costume would make him look hottest and ensure all eyes were on him; to savour the weeks of, 'Are you going to Harrington's for Halloween?' and, 'I can't believe you missed Steve's party!' overheard in the school corridors. And then he discovered the Upside Down, and out went the parties and the notoriety and trying so damn hard to be someone he's not, but by then it was too late. Halloween kind of loses its appeal when you know the monsters are really out there.
It's a shame, really. The things he's seen in the Upside Down could have inspired a Halloween party that would get everyone talking.
But instead of music and drinks and everyone who's anyone filling Steve's living room, he's playing host to, well, everyone who's not; the very people who'd have never set foot inside Steve's house had the course of all their lives not been radically altered. They're sprawled out on and around the couch in front of the TV, the kids arguing whether or not to fast-forward the ads at the beginning of the movie, 'cause according to Dustin the trailers are the best part, while Eddie and Robin are trying and failing to throw popcorn into each other's mouths from six feet away.
Steve just watches the quiet chaos for a moment, a fond smile on his face. He's long past pretending he doesn't prefer this life to his old one.
He picks his way between the bodies on the floor to set down another bowl of snacks, dodging the handful of kernels that go flying through the air towards Robin. She misses every one of them, and only narrowly avoids giving herself a concussion on the side of the coffee table in the process.
"You guys are gonna waste all the popcorn before the movie even starts."
Robin pulls a face at him as she tries to right herself, but if she says anything in return Steve's not listening, his attention already turned to Eddie. It's hard to pay attention to anything else, sometimes. Most of the time, to be honest. He's looking up at Steve with those huge brown eyes, the picture of innocence where he's sat on the couch, knees tucked up towards his chest, trying to balance an impossible amount of popcorn in one hand. Steve can't help but follow the movement as Eddie picks up a kernel and brings it to his lips.
"You're blocking the screen, Steve," says Dustin, swatting at Steve's legs and making a show of trying to peer around him.
"Yeah, 'cause you're really missing a lot." Steve gestures back to the TV, bands of static obscuring the picture as Mike fast-forwards the tape. Evidently Dustin lost the battle over the ads. Still, he clambers over Dustin, holding onto his head for balance and making sure to tread on him as many times as possible, towards the seat Eddie's saved for him on the couch. "Shift over, Sinclair. You're hogging all the room."
"If you didn't have such a big ass you wouldn't need so much room," Lucas shoots back, but he scoots over to the other side of the couch for Steve to plant himself directly in the middle, far enough away from Eddie to avoid suspicion but not so far it looks like he's trying not to sit close to him.
"Hey, it's that big ass that gets King Steve all the girls," says Eddie, with a grin that only stretches wider when Steve glares back at him. "Show it some respect."
From below them Steve hears Robin snort loudly.
"You guys are assholes." He turns his attention to the TV as the opening credits start to roll, some schlocky B-movie Robin picked out that Steve's never even heard of. "How can you even want to watch scary movies after everything we've seen?"
"What's the matter, Harrington?" says Eddie. "Worried you're gonna have nightmares?"
"Yeah!" He's only half joking. To be honest, there probably aren't many horror movies that could scare Steve more than the Upside Down already has, but they make for a pretty compelling reminder of the decidedly non-fictional monsters Steve would much rather forget.
Eddie knocks his shoulder against Steve's. "Need me to hold your hand?" he says, and his tone is so brazenly flirtatious Steve would be worried about the others starting to suspect something if Eddie hadn't been this way for as long as Steve's known him. He could probably plant a kiss on Steve right in front of them and they'd dismiss it as just Eddie being Eddie. Steve's not about to voice that thought though, just in case Eddie decides to test it.
He just nudges Eddie in the ribs in response, careful to avoid the scar tissue that still gives him trouble, and with a laugh Eddie turns back to watch the movie.
But maybe watching's not the best term for what they're doing. Mostly they're all just mocking the crappy effects and loudly predicting each twist they can see coming a mile away; the kids reacting with noisy, gleeful revulsion at the grisly deaths that Steve really shouldn't be letting them watch, Eddie and Robin yelling at the screen each time the characters trip into yet another dumb horror movie cliché.
As the next cry of, 'Just run, you idiot!' fills the room, Steve stretches his arm above his head and slowly, subtly curls it around the back of the couch behind Eddie. It's an old move, but Steve's a master at it by now. From the corner of his eye he sees Eddie fall still, lips twitching into a smile as he waits for Steve to make his move.
But Steve doesn't do it just yet. He watches the others for a moment, and only when he's satisfied that they're all too wrapped up in the movie to pay attention to Steve and Eddie does he slide his arm around Eddie's shoulders, fingertips brushing against his bare skin.
There's a scream from the TV and a chorus of 'eww's around the room, but Steve's not looking to see what they're reacting to. He's focused on the slow rise and fall of Eddie's chest, the subtle shift of his body as he presses himself back against Steve's side. His hand sneaks up towards Steve's, threading their fingers together, and he looks back to meet Steve's gaze. They share a secret smile.
Eddie's body is warm against Steve's. It's familiar by now, the gentle weight of Eddie against him, the heat of his skin beneath Steve's fingers, but Steve's not sure he'll ever get tired of it. Usually the only time Eddie manages to sit still for more than five minutes is when his mind drifts back to the Upside Down, so the moments like this, when they can just enjoy being curled up together watching crappy movies without Steve having to pull Eddie out of his own head or falling victim to a wildly gesturing hand, are worth savouring.
And while they might not have the place to themselves like usual, it's dark enough in Steve's living room that he braves to shift a little closer, lets his hand trail down the length of Eddie's arm as he noses at Eddie's hair. It still smells faintly of Steve's shampoo, and he breathes it in with a smile.
Steve's fooled around with girls in the back row of the movie theatre enough times that this shouldn't be thrilling – especially since they're not even doing anything, just sharing gentle little touches that could be so easily explained away if any of the others did notice them – but his heart is still thudding insistently against his ribs and his fingers itch for just a little bit more.
They brush the frayed edge of Eddie's t-shirt, the sides sliced open deep enough to give Steve easy access to the skin beneath, and Eddie's breath hitches when Steve's fingers ghost over his nipple. His hand settles on Eddie's side, as if the touch was completely accidental, and he keeps his eyes on the TV, fighting a grin as Eddie looks over at him.
But Eddie can give as good as he gets. His own hand curls on Steve's knee and slowly slides higher as Steve squirms beneath him, the touch just innocent enough that it can be explained away if anyone catches it while still managing to drive Steve to distraction.
Steve takes a steadying breath and tries desperately to keep his attention on the movie.
"Jesus, Steve, would you stop fidgeting?"
Robin's voice cuts through Steve's racing thoughts, quickly followed by her elbow colliding with his shin as she tries to reposition herself on the floor in front of him.
"Yeah, Steve," says Eddie. His hand has disappeared from Steve's thigh, and his eyes glitter with amusement at the look Steve levels him with. "Some of us are trying to watch the movie."
"As if you haven't already seen it, like, fifty times."
"Would you shut up already?" says Dustin.
"All right, geez." Steve rolls his eyes, but he finally pulls away from Eddie, and this time he's able to watch the rest of the movie without distraction.
They're halfway through another when Steve's eyelids begin to droop, and the next thing he knows there's a gentle nudging at his side stirring him awake again. The room is quiet, nothing but static on the TV.
"Steve," Eddie breathes against his ear. "They're all asleep."
"Think we can slip away?"
Eddie looks down. Dustin's sprawled right beneath Eddie's feet, taking up just about every inch of space between the couch and the coffee table. Maybe they could clamber over the back of the couch without disturbing anyone, but to be honest Steve doesn't trust Eddie's coordination that much. And if he goes tumbling to the floor in a cacophony of jangling chains and swearing, the two of them definitely won't be able to escape to Steve's bedroom tonight.
"Screw it," whispers Steve, his hand on Eddie's jaw as he pulls him in for a kiss. Eddie makes a tiny, muffled noise against his lips that just makes Steve grip him tighter, and Eddie's hand curls around Steve's wrist like he never wants him to let go.
It's not exactly comfortable, nor can things get half as heated as Steve would like when they're surrounded by sleeping friends, but it's Eddie, and Steve hasn't been able to kiss him since first thing this morning so he's not gonna stop until he absolutely has to.
"Quiet," Eddie grits out between kisses.
"You be quiet."
Steve's just starting to really sink into it, the press of Eddie's mouth against his, the faint scratch of stubble beneath Steve's wandering palm where Eddie didn't bother to shave this morning, when he feels Eddie freeze in his arms. He pulls back from Steve's grasp, his eyes wide.
Steve follows Eddie's gaze across the room.
Robin's sitting up, looking over at them with her mouth agape and eyebrows creeping up to disappear beneath her bangs.
Shit. Shit, shit, shit. But before Steve can move far enough past that thought to pull some kind of explanation out of his ass, some reason that him making out with Eddie is definitely not what it looks like, Robin's expression melts into a broad grin.
"I knew it!" she hisses in delight.

Part 2
დMasterlist
“Y/N? Earth to Y/N!” Robin’s raspy voice snaps you out of your trance. “What is going on with you?”
Everything.
“Nothing.” You answer quickly and start picking up the movies and placing them on the shelf in front of you.
Truth is, you are mourning. After everything that happened last summer… You were silently mourning. The events that took place at Starcourt have changed your life. Sure, the idea of another dimension and creatures existing intrigues you, but suddenly losing your almost-boyfriend, Billy, not so much.
You and Billy got close at the beginning of senior year. He’d drive you around the town, get drunk with you and listen to you speak about your passions, dreams and goals. You were in love with him. Not that you knew what love was, but Billy came close to it and besides… Billy was not perfect. Far from it, actually. He wanted all the benefits of dating you but without actually making it official. You two would go to parties together, sure, but he wouldn’t touch you in public. He would not hold your hand; he wouldn’t even wrap his arm around your shoulders. Nothing. And one day, in early summer, he stopped contacting you.
He started a new job as a lifeguard and stopped hanging out with you. The last conversation you two had was when you confronted him by the pool. You were so angry and so, so drunk. Your idea of “confronting Billy” was yelling mean things at him and throwing weak punches. Billy never showed any sign of emotion. He just stood there, watching you. With one last “I hate you”, you left and that was the last time you saw him.
And then Starcourt happened. And Billy died. And you got cold. Very cold.
“Do you know where I can get pot?” You ask Robin, who has been staring at you for the past minutes.
“Pot?” Robin raises her eyebrows. “Are we celebrating anything? Oh my god, did I forget your birthday?”
“Birthday party?” Steve’s voice is coming from behind the register.
With a big frown on your face, you turn to face Steve. “My birthday is in October.” You answer.
“What?” they both ask in unison.
It’s not their fault. You never told them your birthday, how could you? You befriended the two last summer and after the events that happened at the mall, you spent your birthday getting drunk, ugly crying and watching tv in your room.
“Yea…” you pause, watching their surprised faces. “Anyways, can you guys hook me up with someone?”
“There is this weirdo that is hanging around Henderson and Mike. Some D&D fella.” Steve speaks.
“Cool… I’ll drive.” You take Steve’s car keys and start walking towards the door.
“I still can’t believe you never told us your birthday.” Robin adds, following you into the car.
---
“Ah, Harrington, heard a lot about you.” The long-haired boy speaks as he sits down on the wooden bench.
The boy, who introduced himself as Eddie Munson, is wearing a “Hellfire Club” shirt and a denim jacket. He weirdly reminds you of Billy. Except, he is nothing like Billy. Billy wouldn’t smile that often and he would definitely not smile at you like that in public.
“Who are these two beautiful ladies?” Eddie asks and opens his metal tool box, revealing a bunch of green and purple buds.
“Robin and Y/N.” Steve answers.
“I’ll take this.” You pick up the small plastic bag and look up at Eddie. “How much?” you ask.
“Slow down, beautiful.” Eddie stops you and takes the bag out of your hands. “What are you guys? A three-way couple? A throuple?” he asks.
“What?” Steve scuffs.
“No.” Robin laughs nervously.
You roll your eyes and pick up another bag from his tool box. The buds are purple, this time.
“How much?” you ask again, making eye contact with Eddie.
Leaning on his elbows, Eddie’s smile fades as he comes closer and closer to your face. Taken aback by his sudden movement, you lean back. “Do you even know how to roll?” Eddie smiles again and returns to his original position.
You don’t know how to roll.
Why would you? You’ve only started smoking once Billy got in town and you befriended him. He would always roll the joints for you as you watched carefully. As a contribution, he would let you lick the thin paper before lighting it up.
Come to think of it, you have not smoked ever since Billy passed away.
“No.” Robin answers for you.
“Here’s the deal. I will give this…” he picks up the original bag of buds. “And that.” Eddie points towards the bag that you are holding. “For free. And I’ll roll the joints.”
“What’s the catch?” Steve asks. “Come on, you’re not gonna give them to us for free.”
“Ouch!” Eddie gets up suddenly, pretending he just got shot in the heart. “You’re hurting me, Harrington.” He walks over to your side of the table. “The catch is, I get to smoke with the throuple.” He laughs.
“I’m out.” Robin gets up, throwing her hands up in defeat.
“Robin…” You catch her by the wrist. “Stay, please?” you practically beg her. You really need a distraction right now, and you would rather do it with your best friend.
“Yes, Robin, stay.” Steve adds.
Robin sighs and sits back down on the bench.
“Perfect!” Eddie exclaims and sits down, opposite of you.
You hand him the bag of buds and watch him quietly as he starts grinding the weed. His technique is gentler than Billy’s. Eddie mixes the weed with tobacco and rolls it carefully, making direct eye contact with you as he licks the paper.
You wince, giving him a confused look. He smiles and starts working on the other joint. Is he flirting with you? Why is he flirting with you? Doesn’t he know? You’re Billy’s girl.
You were Billy’s girl.
No, you weren’t.
Billy is gone, Billy is dead.
After Billy, you didn’t really think about going out with other guys. You weren’t looking for other guys. Robin and Steve always wondered why you’d never give any guy a chance, but you couldn’t just tell them why. They both hated Billy with every bone in their body. Steve tried his luck with you, but you made it clear that you were not interested. Robin even asked you if you were into girls.
“Would you like to make the honors?” Eddie places a joint between his lips and hands you a lighter.
You light it up and he takes a small puff, handing you the joint. The familiar smell of weed reminds you of the late nights you spent with Billy, smoking in the back of his car.
Fuck that, fuck Billy.
The reason you wanted to get high is to escape him.
You take a puff, inhaling it quickly and holding it for a few seconds before exhaling. You hand the joint to Robin. She takes it and you give her a forced smile.
“Stuff’s good.” You speak, shifting you gaze towards Eddie, who is watching you closely.
“Shouldn’t we smoke in my car? You know… to max out the effect?” Steve speaks and lets out a little cough.
---
Although the car only made you think of Billy at first, the effects of the pot finally started kicking in and you could literally feel your body melt into the car seat. Your vision is a bit clouded but you manage to get the small joint from Robin’s hands. You take another puff.
“It’s dead.” You speak, handing the remaining filter to Eddie, who is sitting in the passenger’s seat.
He pulls the other joint out of his pocket and lights it. “Come here.” He points at you and leans towards the backseat.
You feel like you are on autopilot, so you manage to lift up your body, moving closer to the long-haired boy. He takes a big puff and you can feel the cold rings against your skin as he cups your face. “Open.” Before you know it, your mouth opens and he gets closer, blowing the smoke into your mouth. His lips almost touching yours.
He takes his hands off your face and you immediately sink back in your seat, shakingly exhaling the smoke.
“Should… we give you guys some privacy?” Robin laughs, looking at you and Eddie.
Your brain just registered what happened. Does Eddie like you? Does he do this with every girl? He didn’t do it with Robin. You feel your cheeks heating up and quickly move your gaze to Robin, who is sitting besides you in the backseat. She has a lazy grin on her face.
“So, you are telling me you hang out with these beautiful ladies and you are not dating any of them?” Eddie laughs, looking at Steve.
“I like girls.” Robin speaks making both you and Steve look at her.
You didn’t know if it was the weed, but Robin has not been open with her sexuality with anyone but you and Steve. So, for her to just confess like that makes you worry.
“Yeah uh… I am not dating anyone at the moment.” Steve chuckles nervously before passing the joint to you.
“I’m…” you speak before taking a puff. “I’m Billy’s girl.”
Oh, shit.
Realization hits you after a few seconds. Shit, shit, shit. Speaking before thinking, nice job, Y/N. Both Steve and Robin are now staring at you.
“I mean, I was…” You cover your face with your hands. “I’m single now.”
“Billy? Billy Hargrove?” Steve speaks, raising his voice. “When? How?”
“Why?” Robin adds, freaking out.
“Isn’t the kid dead?” Eddie asks.
You hand the joint to Robin before opening the car door.
After what felt like minutes, you step out of the car, inhaling the fresh air. It’s dark now, and your mind is still fizzy. How are you going to explain to your best friends that you dated the man they hated? You start to feel your knees weaken as panic invades your entire body. It’s not a good time to open up to them. Not now.
You contemplate running away and never talking to them.
Chills run down your spine when you decide to open the car door and sit down.
“Y/N…” Steve speaks, softly. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know.” He adds.
“I’ve never told you guys. I’m sorry.” You apologize.
“Should I give you guys some privacy?” Eddie speaks, emphasizing on the “I”.
“No, no, it’s fine.” You brush it off quickly before you take the joint from his hand. “I don’t want to talk about it.” You take a puff. “Should we listen to some music?”
As Steve turns on the radio, you can’t help but stare at Eddie’s side profile. You also can’t help but replay the previous moment in your head. The way his hands felt against your skin, the way your lips almost touched his, the way your body just obeyed him.
Maybe you don’t need drugs to distract you from Billy. You need someone to make you forget.

July 28, 1988
Dear Will,
Tonight was… well, it was something else. Not how I expected it to go. I had gone to bed super early, since all our late night walkie conversations have been catching up to me. But you obviously had other plans. I woke up to the sound of light tapping on my bedroom window. I was so thrown off, since I’m usually the one sneaking out in the middle of the night, but there you were at 1am, hunched over my window sill, wearing a The Cure tee shirt and a pair of gym shorts. I still don’t know how you’re able to just walk around at night in such light clothing; I’d bundled up in preparation to sleep tonight because summer nights always get super cold out of nowhere, and I turn into an icicle otherwise. “What are you doing here?” I’d asked stupidly as I let you in. You grinned up at me and asked, “Wanna go somewhere?” You had that mischievous gleam in your eyes that never fails to make me simultaneously nervous and excited. When I’d asked what place you had in mind, you simply shook your head, insisting upon the location being a surprise.
I asked you if you wanted a sweatshirt or something before we headed out, you shook your head, insisted that you were fine… and then you shivered. I smirked down at you with a look that said, I told you so, before rifling through my closet to pull out a hoodie and toss it in your direction. As I watched you put my sweatshirt on, I got the feeling I always get whenever you wear (or steal) my clothes— the closest word I can use to describe it is possessiveness. The good kind, I promise. It gives me purpose– purpose for you, specifically– which is kind of my kryptonite, if I’m being honest. So, with that said, please feel free to take my whole wardrobe. Cool? Cool.
We stealthily made it out of my window and down onto the ground without dying, and then we grabbed our bikes before making our great escape. We biked out into the night, wind whipping through our hair, and I just felt so free. And for a second, just a split second, I imagined what it would be like if we were together, and we were sneaking off to make out in the woods or something. That would be so romantic. Or scary. I don’t know, but a guy can dream, right? Okay, I’m getting off topic.
We ended up sitting at the top of the cliff at the quarry, a place familiar to the both of us, but more haunting to me, if anything. I still haven’t told you the full backstory about what happened that day with Troy, James, Dustin, and El. I don’t think I ever will, to be honest. You’d just blame yourself for what I did. And that’s the last thing I want. Anyway, we sat there for 3 hours and talked about anything and everything. At one point, I asked you if you thought falling in love was in the cards for us.
“What?” you said, turning to me with wide eyes. I realized then that it sounded like I had asked if you thought we would fall in love. Honestly, I probably would have come out to you right then if it weren’t for the look of horror painted on your face. So I backtracked.
“I mean… for either of us? Like, do you think you’ll ever fall in love?”
“I mean, speaking for myself…” you replied, swinging your legs back and forth over the edge of the cliff, just like you had on the swings the first day we met, “No, I don’t think so.” I asked why, and you said, “I don’t think I’m, like, lovable. I’m too damaged.” Which is so not true, because… well, Exhibit A: Michael James Wheeler, presenting with a severe case of Down Bad.
“Same here,” I said, looking up at the stars. “God, I thought I was the only one.”
“No, Mike, you’re far from unlovable,” you told me. You turned towards me then, lifting one leg back onto the ground below us and crossing it in front of you, and reached your hand out to touch the back of mine. If you saw me blushing… no you didn’t. “First of all,” you continued, “you’re not damaged; you’re perfect, just the way you are. Secondly, how could anyone not fall in love with you?”
“Very easily, apparently,” I said automatically, and I watched your eyebrows furrow.
“…You’re talking about El,” you frowned, and I’d instantly regretted opening my mouth at all. I was actually talking about both El and you. Because El and I never truly loved each other romantically, and you… you won’t ever love me in the way I love you.
“Yeah, but—“ I made an attempt to change the subject, to distance our conversation from the topic of my love life. But I failed miserably, because you cut me off with your typical, constant reassurance and encouragement.
“Just you wait, one day you’re gonna look back on this conversation and laugh. Any person would be incredibly lucky to be with you.”
Person. Person, Will. You’re my person. That’s what I wanted to say. But instead, my dumb ass said, “You really think so?”
“Yeah,” you told me, tears forming in your eyes, and I felt like I was in the van all over again. I was fucking this up, like, majorly.
“Well, that goes for you, too, Will. Seriously,” I said. “You’re incredible, and anyone who can’t see that is… a fucking idiot.” I, out of all people, would know. I was blind to my feelings for you for years.
You glanced down at our hands, brushing your thumb over my wrist before scoffing out a sarcastic, “Eloquent, Wheeler.” And don’t think I didn’t notice those beautiful eyes of yours light up when I turned my palm upwards, linking our fingers together. I swear, it’s like our hands were meant to hold each other.
“I’ll take the compliment, Byers,” I said, and then you changed the topic to something along the lines of how you wanted to paint the scene in front of us in the scene of Van Gogh. I think you should go for it. You could totally pull it off.
We left the quarry around 4:45am, and you biked all the way back to my house with me, even though your house is in the complete opposite direction. You wrapped your arms around my waist and pulled me into a tight hug, and I held onto you right back, basking in the affection for as long as I could before it could get weird. I went right to my desk to write this as soon as you left, and now the exhaustion has crept up on me. So I’m gonna end the letter here. It’s more of a novel, actually.
I love you. I always will, Will. I know, the pun is getting really old. But the opportunity was right there.
Love,
Mike
