Seeing this site's reaction to Venom and Kraven, I decided to write my own script for a Sony Marvel movie

Miles Warren (played by Joseph Quinn) is a brilliant scientist, who is fallen for his assistant, Gwen Stacy, but he's too awkward to talk to her. Before he can ask her out, she is killed in a car accident so he decides to clone her! But his research is stolen, and he is injected with jackal blood. Not irradiated jackal blood, or a serum. Just jackal blood

When he wakes up, he discovers that he has jackal powers. This means he gets in wacky situations where he chases his tail! He sniffs people's butts! He pisses everywhere to mark his territory. (Jackals are just dogs right?)

But he has to eat dead bodies. Like a jackal. But robbing graves and eating raw rotting flesh isn't enough. So he starts just hunting and killing homeless people! To clean up the streets! Because he isn't a hero, he's an anti-hero! (proceeds to eat an innocent man alive in front of his screaming friend)

So the Jackal ends up tracking down the guy who stole his research and and it turns out hes also taken the jackal blood and is now a giant hulk green jackal! They fight and Miles defeats him and finds the clone of Gwen Stacy! Sure she has no memory of him, they never dated, and he is funcionaly a child but he now has a girlfriend!

End credit scene and Morbius shows up to recruit him for the Sinister Six.

I predict it will bomb at the box office and be panned by critics, but will be loved by a very specific type of fangirl who either A) will watch it on mute so they can lick the screen, and write self insert reader x jackal fan fics while gifing the same 5 seconds or B) have a fetish for gay white men, and focus on this one scene where Miles pisses on a street corner while looking another guy in the eye; and think that is the hight of queer representation. Because who wants actual queer characters when companies can do the barest "hinting" and fangirls with a fetish can jump on it and claim critics are homophobic

Miles Warren: The Jackal

Doctor Miles Warren, a renowned scientist in the field of biology research. His field of study is somewhat connected to the branch that Curt and Martha Connors. He isn’t all that good, however. Secretly stealing documents to further his research, wealth, and status. He is not above becoming friendly with the Connors, finding an interest in their effective genetic modifications with spiders... and even more so when he learned of Curt’s incident. He wanted in on that.

He stole a copy of that information and modified it himself, utilizing the people under his medical research care as guinea pigs in private. Experimenting on them until one test was successful, to which he then used it on himself.

Becoming The Jackal. Sure the medical business was well paying, but a normal human man couldn’t go too far in the world. He wanted to go further, becoming stronger, more powerful. Hence his interest in human research, his career was spawned by his desire to try and improve the human body, make it better.

He has no remorse nor care for stealing information, research, from others and using them for himself if he sees them beneficial to his own gain.

God complex. Feeling inferior and seeking to become “perfect”, a “god“.

Oh screw you Jackal! Ben Reilly’s Scarlet Spider costume is a million times more badass and awesome than your absolutely hideous 90s redesign! Seriously, the Jackal during The Clone Saga looks like a green version of the Joker but with troll-doll hair whilst wearing an outfit stolen from The Matrix movies (although weirdly these comics were released 4-years before the first Matrix movies debuted in cinemas… weird…)

Also, the joke’s on you Jackal! I myself own two Marvel Legends Scarlet Spider action figures (one of Ben & one of Kaine), and they both look FREAKING amazing!

The Scarlet Spider costume does too have merchandising potential! Suck it ya smug grinning green jackass!
