To be totally honest I have no idea if this constitutes a yuri/shoujo ai or not. Because if yuri is chicks being attracted to one another then yes it is. But does that change if the girl is a guy who changes into a girl because of a magic power? I mean there are so many questions when it comes to this anime, but I like it. Even though the main character is a bit in love with his female version, but like everyone is in love with his female version. Plus I could never seem to figure out if there was a plot or not to this anime.  

To be totally honest I have no idea as to how I found this or ended up watching it. It’s a total mystery to me and because it’s been so long I will probably never figure it out. I’m ok with that though. But for a 14 episode anime, this includes the additions, it was worth wasting my time. I had a fun time burning my life away with this confusing anime. The opening is “あんりある♥パラダイス" by Minami Kuribayashi, which is a bop. The ending is much calmer and is “ワンウェイ両想い" by Marina Inoue and Megumi Nakajima. I prefer the opening, though both are on my playlist.

From the series "The Devil Is a Part-Timer"! 😈🍔

Retrospective Note 2020: Oh gosh what an anime this was. Saw it for the first time last year, and INSTANTLY was hooked. The first episode really is the prime jewel of the show, for it focuses more on the hijinks of these “fish out of water demons” trying to make a living in Japan, and not so much on the underlying plot. The moment said plot takes the lead is when the show starts to taper off, but when the shenanigans of them trying to make a living ensue, they ENSUE. Some of the best comedic writing in an anime I’ve seen in awhile, especially in the English dub. Such a brilliant show, that so needs a Season 2.
