One of the best parts of hermitcraft season 10 so far is the conversations like this.
Builder: hey I know autocrafters are expensive but do you have any I could borrow?
Redstoner: of course buddy! What are you gonna use them for? A super smelter? An afk farm? A-
Builder: cupboards!
Redstoner: what.
Builder: if you place two autocrafters next to each other they look like a cupboard and I’ve been meaning to decorate my kitchen recently.
Redstoner: never talk to me again.

Just built the most insanely over engineered 1x1 bounce pad known to Minecraft. It is 3am though, so I'll have to explain what this monstrosity does and how it works tomorrow morning. Wanted to share tho bc hyperfixation go brrrr.

Why the hell aren’t Calibrated Shriekers a thing?
Sculk would be so much more practical to work with if you could set off specific frequency sound waves from a shrieker being powered by the corresponding redstone signal strength.
Like, imagine Shriekers having an application other than (bad) base alarms and pranking your friends.
Alternatively it could be called an “Attuned Shrieker”

26 - The Engineers Guild and Clocktower
The kingdom has it’s first guild. Located in (and under) the city’s clocktower is the Engineer’s Guild. I’m not entirely sure if a large clocktower fits in with the technology level I had in mind for my project, but it was too good a suggestion to pass up. Also, the presence of redstone in Minecraft is too heavy to ignore, which led to the idea that people living in this world would use redstone to advance their technology. So, the city now has a clocktower, and a guild that specializes in redstone contraptions and research.
The actual clocktower itself is still empty. It does have stairs to navigate the building, but there is nothing in it. The clock does have my attempt at a mechanism, but I didn’t think it was worth showing. The building of the clocktower will be something of a clerical office for the guild, while the main focus of this build was the workshop cave. Accessed by a lift or staircase, the cave is where the engineers do their work. It features a small sitting area, a large workshop/research space, a metalworking area, and a woodworking zone. Overall, I’m very pleased with the build, and am looking forward to using this new guild as a way to explain more complex builds.

Wooden Axe Farm in Minecraft
Using new crafter announced in minecraft life 2023. Largely doing this because I can because it has like 0 use. This however was a fun excuse to experiment with block. Hopefully this inspires some actually useful stuff.
If you want a different farm, feel free to ask. Anyway, here are the details on this atrocity
first element is the bamboo farm
This one observes each shoot, cutting it down (as well as one to left and right) as soon as gets 4 blocks tall. Below that hopper minecart collection system with.
You can replace with nay other bamboo farm, in fact, if you want to speed this farm up, bamboo farm is the first thing you should upgrade
Now, the stick crafter
From the barrel output get pull to stick crafter first. The stick crafter pushes them to a hopper. The hopper is hooked up to a comparator, then the signal is inverted and allied to crafter.
In practice, this means when hopper has no item, the crafter on and when it has an item, the crafter is off. Meaning, as soon as the stick leaves, a new one is crafted and put back in the hopper. Stick have priority from bamboo form, so we don't have to worry about the crafter running dry. (unless you add plans manually)
However, the plank crafting setup does not have priority, so it has a different set-up
Here, the comparator is hooked up to a comparator directly. Each slot in crafter comparator results on 1 redstone signal sleight. The slightly longer loop. Up to 6, this signal just climbs thought the wire, doing nothing. At 7, it loops back to comparator turning into a clock, this nothing plugged to any out, at 8 power the first crafter, however 8 bamboo doesn't craft into anything to it's still non-functioning. Only at 9, when the crafter is full, it fires both crafters, crafting 9 bamboo to a block and the block into 2 plans
Both plans and stick are transported to final crafter
This one is checked with input hopper for plans. Every time the hopper build enough surplice produce signal straight of 2,an ace is crafter. Because we get 2 plans a time and axe uses 3 plans, we don't have to worry about hopper over flowing and breaking the cycle.
Finally, we can add a bit of lava to get rid of unless axes

hey are any of you good at Minecraft Redstone that could help me out? i copied a simple toggle switch off the Internet, it worked perfectly. i /cloned it a bunch.
because of /clone, these two contraptions are identical. there is also a single item in the bottom dropper on each.
however, the first image works and the second one doesn't. i have no idea why. does anyone better at Redstone than me know what's going on?
i don't believe it's /clone causing issues because some (but not all) of the cloned switches still work.
