Made a new world in Minecraft, spawned in a snowy taiga
Wandered around a little bit, died once or twice (fell off cliff), eventually found a village a little ways from a forest with an igloo a little ways from the village
In the igloo there's a basement with 1 (one) villager in a cage (I read that igloos are supposed to have a zombie villager in another cage but I play on peaceful 馃拝)
I release the villager, fight for my life trying to force him to climb the ladder so he can get out of the basement, succeed by boxing him in w dirt blocks
He leaves the igloo and immediately starts walking in the opposite direction of the village, I try to push him towards the village but he won't budge
Its getting night so I go to bed
When I wake up the 1 (one) villager is nowhere to be found, I look for him everywhere but no sign of him
I take it either he despawned when it got dark, fell off a high place or found his way back to the village. Either way eerie as fuck 10/10 would not recommend

Aight, new Minecraft house incoming
So on my first world with the Big Boy House, I spawned in a forest and explored until I found a savanna. On the second world with the Tiny House, I spawned in a dark oak forest and found a treasure map which lead me to a jungle.
On this my third world, I spawned IN the jungle. And near the beach, where I found a shipwreck. And a plains biome which lead to a badlands biome. And a broken nether portal which I fixed
So. Suffice to say I spawned in a pretty good spot if I do say so myself :D
I play on peaceful because it's more fun, and for this world I also turned on keepinventory. With all that said, onwards we go:
Tumblr media
To my beach house.
Now you can see a little bar off to the side - I build these structures on all my worlds, because I use them for extra storage, but it's not the focus here (but it does look really cute so maybe it'll get a post to itself ^^)
Tumblr media
The house is :)
It has two stories (?), it's made almost entirely of jungle wood (and put out campfires), it's covered in vines and plants and there's a beach parasol and mats, because it's the beach and it needs a beach flair :)
I always wanted a house on the beach, both irl and in game, so I'm living vicariously.
Now this is where I flex my interior decor skills:
Tumblr media
I learned a couple of tricks from watching people building MC houses on youtube, especially when it comes to using banners and trapdoors. This is what you see when you come through the front door, here is mostly work and storage. I like to pretend it's a kitchen
Tumblr media
It's full of leaves which I'm pretending are hanging ferns. I also always wanted a house with lots of ferns so again, living vicariously
The chests are for general materials, the barrels are for food and fuel respectively, hence the item frames :3
Tumblr media
On the other side of the ladder wall is this little cozy room. I plan on adding more stuff eventually, currently my cow farm is very tiny so as I expand that and get more materials I'll add more bookshelves. I don't think there's enough room for an enchanting table here, but I want to build a little wizard tower too so the bookshelves here are probably gonna be mostly for show - this is a place for chilling.
Also that glazed terracotta flooring is my pride and joy and I absolutely adore it :>
Tumblr media
There's doors on all sides of this room but this is what i call the big door, it leads out through the side of the house and into the beach
Tumblr media
This is the side view. I use the banners both inside and outside as curtains. I wanna add more things to this side, maybe a campfire and a nice sitting area, maybe more cacti too. I think a lot about my trolls specifically as I build this world, so I like to imagine them hanging out here at night and having a chill time :)
I had to do some terraforming to get the space I needed on this beach, which is something I hate doing, but for the vibes it was worth it - back inside now:
Tumblr media
Up the ladder is the bedroom. Bed, loom, crafting table and these three idiot birds. I didn't exactly want this many parrots, but the light blue one got itself stuck in a tree and the only way I got it out was by having it sit on my shoulder, and the other two were out in the middle of the goddamn ocean and I was scared they were gonna drown. I take them all out on adventures occasionally but I'm scared of them getting hurt, so they mostly sit up here and chill.
Tumblr media
Most of the windows here are made out of acacia doors and trapdoors for a more rustic (?) feel. Also because I really like acacia wood. It's orange :)
Tumblr media
Last but not least here's the view from the bedroom balcony. That's the jungle I spawned in, only had to walk a little to find this beach. As I said there used to be a shipwreck there in the shallow, but I dismantled it for the wood. There's a dark oak forest and a spruce forest really close by, so I have access to a lot of different wood types :)
I also fixed the broken nether portal close by and jave already gone on lots of adventures in the nether. I even found a strider that spawned with a saddle already on... but then I took it on a little trip that ended up killing me, so I have no idea where it is now xD
I wanna build a pier, or maybe a bridge connecting my little beach to the two landmasses near it. I also wanna make that wizard tower, and expand the storage bar, but those are for another time.
For now enjoy my little beach house :)

@cheeziswin ask and ye shall receive :D
Here's some pics taken at night because I play on peaceful and therefore have no fear:
Tumblr media
Here's the front - this one is WAY smaller than the Big Boy House, because now I am aware of size and know how much of space I need - plus, this is a starter house, which may end up expanded or straight up abandoned after I build around the world more!
When I made this world I initially spawned on a taiga biome, so I made sure to stock up on spruce and mossy cobblestone before I left - ended up using more of the stone than wood ^^
Tumblr media
Here's the right side - here we have the begginings of a wheat farm and the tree I'm using to grow cocoa! Plus a lil chest for storing the seeds, my hoe and some buckets.
Tumblr media
Here's the back, not much to see. I might add a second window and more lanterns in the future!
Tumblr media
The left side is blessed with a very vine-y jungle tree which I use as a ladder to get on the roof. Sometimes I like to have a view of things xD
Tumblr media
And here's a closer look at the front! This house is made almost entirely of jungle wood and logs, plus a little bit of spruce and birch on the inside and mossy cobblestone for the Aesthetic tm
Not sure if you can see it, but on the roof there's some oak and jungle leaves. While exploring I found a chest with a hoe enchanted with silk touch, and I used it to get a hold of some leafs for decoration :D
Tumblr media
On the inside, this is the entry - chests, furnace, blast furnace, smoker, barrel, all the utilities I'm using for now.!
Tumblr media
And the bedroom, more chests, a crafting table and my pets! The parrot and the two cats I found on the nearest village!
The spruce trapdoors are supposed to be perches for the parrot. He never uses them, but they're there in case he wants to!
And this is what I got so far on this new world - a lovely little house and a handful of little friends! Not a bad start methinks :D

Due to popular demand (aka one person <3), I will show you guys
My minecraft house
Now, before we continue, I want you guys to know some history. The first house I built in this world was very tiny, just enough to hold my basic necessities. I planned on expanding it many times, but the problem was that I built right ontop of a huge cave without realizing, and it was on a very small island, so almost every day without missing a beat a creeper would blow up my house. Since it was a tiny house, that meant that the creepers would always destroy at least half my stuff, which meant I never had any resources to expand because I had to keep repairing it.
So naturally, when I moved away to someplace less cursed my first instinct was to go big
Thus, lo and behold, I give thee:
Tumblr media
BIG BOY HOUSE
With three floors, a porch and a basement, is it my first and most ambicious minecraft project. I've built bigger stuff in creative mode, but those all followed tutorials and well. Were in creative mode - this is my base on survival mode, and it's huge, so I am quite proud of it!
The only problem is that is has a lot of empty space, since I don't have a lot of stuff to fill it yet. But I'm working on it!
First floor:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Has a smoker, two large chests, a barrel and a crafting table, as well as a staircase, which I plan on rebuilding so it's a littke more elegant(?) and a ladder I added for flair. It also leads to the basement, which I will cover in another post since this one reached picture limit xD
It also has the love of my life, the hugeass window
Tumblr media
Hidden behind the rosebushes is the river I showed in the River Bar Post. It goes around the whole house :D
Moving on to the second floor is a little awning with flower pots which I want to add wool carpets to. It's supposed to be a place to chill and vibe :D
Tumblr media
The second floor also holds what was meant to be the main bedroom when I first built the house, buuuuut.....
Tumblr media
It's way too big for that. I tried to fill in some soace with the lilacs and the carpet, but it's still way to big of a room just for the beds. I plan on either dividing this room in two, or just filling every single nook and cranny with plants. Both work for me xD
Moving on to the third floor, which I nicknamed the comfy room
Tumblr media
It has a glass ceiling and a crafting table on the corner which got cut out of the screenshot. My idea for this room was a big carpeted room with lots of pillows that it supposed to be exactly that - a comfy place for naps and such. There are no pillows in minecraft sadly, so I pretend the beds are pillows xD
Directly connected to the comfy room and accessible via a door that got half cut off in the picture is the porch (is that the right word?)
Tumblr media
Not much here yet, I want to improvise a swing or a bench here but for now it has a carpet.
If you open the fence gate on the other side you will find a ladder, which leads to the top of the house
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I put lanterns and some carpet up here to give it a more cozy feel. From up here we can see my mini pier and the village I live next to! You can also see my bridge, which is very cute, and the farm which is very disorganized and such, it was cut off from the picture. Sadly the bridge is right beside the farm so it got lost too.
My Big Boy House: that's it for this post! Next: The basement, the rain cover, the back of the house and maybe the bridge! Might pay the village a visit too :D

To finish my showing off of my minecraft house
The basement, rain cover and the back
So coming in through the front door you can find the trapdoors leading down to the basement
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And a door that leads outside, but I'll cover that another time.
Once you go down the trapdoor you will be met with this sight:
Tumblr media
A crafting table and chests on one side
Tumblr media
And two furnaces with more chests in the other, plus a secret not so secret ladder that leads outside the house
Tumblr media
(I kinda wanna wall off the ladder section and add a door so it really is a hidden ladder. Also to add more safety because mobs LOVE crawling over the trapdoor outside)
Now, past this archway is a handful of roses I put there to liven up the place, a double bed and none other than my greatest treasure: Minebao, minecraft Bao
Tumblr media
I am currently working on find a friend for him. I feel bad leaving him in the house all by himself and unlike real life Bao, I'm sure he'd appreciate a friend!
(Minebao also brought me a rabbit skin today. He's a very good kitty)
Now, back to the hidden ladder
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Climbing up the ladder leads you to an area that I'm sure has a name, but I don't know what it so so I call it the rain cover
Tumblr media
The basement trapdoor is hidden behind the hay bale, and the door leads into the house. It's the same one you see when you enter the basement from the inside :D
This area was supposed to be a place for chilling, but it has a problem. It's shaded, so I've woken up more than once to skeletons and spiders crawling all over the place. I still want to add things to this place though, maybe more hay bales or wood logs for decoration, maybe I can improvise a swing here too - it's a nice area despite the creepy crawlies!
To finish the tour, here's the back of the house:
Tumblr media
The back is to the hill where I built the River Bar and it's filled with trees. I was standing ontop of a birch tree when I took this screenshot. One step or two farther away I would be in the river :D

Insofar I made 3 Minecraft worlds:
- Attempt no.1 was the first world I ever made, its where I built the Big Boy House and the river bar and it's most of the posts on my minefruting tag. It got completely wiped when my old laptop broke, along with my creative worlds and other attempts.
- Attempt no.2 was the one I made while waiting for the game to update. I didn't take it too seriously, I made two tiny houses by digging holes in the ground and that was it. However the time period I spent playing it was also when I made my best skins yet (Zai, Gheist and revamped Tari 馃憖)
- Attempt no.3 is the current and most promising world so far. I made it right after the update, and I spent a lot of time wandering on peaceful mode looking for the perfect place to start building. This led to me finding a treasure map, and following said map led me to a jungle biome - a HUGE fucking jungle biome with lots of pandas and parrots so, y'know. Heaven :)
I just finished building a little starter house just on the edge of the jungle. So far I found a bunch of caves and a village nearby, so I am quite confident for this world's future :D

Attention everyone I will now share my proudest achievement in Minecraft
Behold: the River Bar
Tumblr media
Built on a hill behind my house in survival mode. I dug around the place for dirt, which I needed for another project, and ended up with a nice little flat surface big enough for me to build something in
So I built a bar thing
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It has barstools, a smoker, a pumpkin for decor, torches + lanterns, one flower pot with a dandelion and and one item frame with a blue flower whose name I don't remember
Tumblr media
It also has a secret not so secret trapdoor which leads to....
Tumblr media
A basement! Which has one barrel and one large chest for storage, one crafting table for all my crafting needs, one bed for sleepy hours and one blank sign to make it look more like a storage room. Plus torches, lanterns and a flower pot with a purple flower for decor
"But Frut!" You cry out in despair "You said it's a river bar! Where's the river?"
Well hold onto your tits and behold:
Tumblr media
The pier, blissfully easy to build and my favorite part - this river goes all the way around the hill and beyond, and it was the whole reason why I decided to build the bar
Tumblr media
This place really lights up at night and it's a gorgeous sight. The pir is made mostly of stairs and fence, with an ungodly amount of torches and a handful of oak planks. Plus the boat, which my character was sitting on when I took the screenshot
(You can see a little bit of my house in the top left corner too! It's a very tall house)
My skin was made by yours truly by the way, and it's Rust
Tumblr media
Now pretend I invited you all to a night of drinks and relaxation by the river, and enjoy. Don't worry about the monsters - Rust's presence is cursed enough to make all mobs stay away (except for endermen because they're built different I guess)

Aight friends I give thee
My improved minecraft house
With the Samaela skin today, also made by yours truly :D
Tumblr media
Here you can see the mini pier and the bridge! Nice :D
Okay so coming in the front you can already see some changes
Tumblr media
The house front iself didn't change much, the creepers blew it up but I fixed it to be just like the original HOWEVER you can see here one small house to the right and one pen to the left!
The small house is where my doggos spend their nights! All four of them :D
Tumblr media
Pink, green and yellow were tamed in the wild and brought over to where I built my stuff. Red is Pink and Green's puppy! (I'm working on finding name tags for all my pets, but for now they're color coded for convenience ^^)
And now on the left it's the pens, where my farm animals are!
Tumblr media
One pen for the cows, one for the sheep, and one for the chickens further back. I don't plan on getting any more animals than this (much as I'd love some pigs around), so three is enough. I do plan on getting a horse eventually, so I'll add a fourth pen when that happens.
I also plan on dyeing some of those sheep, just for flair :D
And lookie that! I moved the lanterns around a little bit and added a swing to the rain cover! I imagine sitting on there and slowly swinging back and forth as the sun sets, just enjoying the breeze and the calm before night falls and we need to head inside.
Tumblr media
Now moving to the inside of the house, on the first floor I rebuilt the stairs so they're against the wall instead of in the middle of the room, and I added a little table to fill in the empty space! I imagine having dinner in here with the light of the stars coming in through the glass wall must be delightful xD
Tumblr media
Now onto the second floor, I added a ton of flowers and divided the room in two, just like I said I would do
Tumblr media
That wall looks a little awkward so I might need to tweak some things, but I like the look of the room much better overall! Beyond those doors is the main bedroom
Tumblr media
There's more flowers on the opposite walls as well as some frames, and here you can see the bed with chests for decor. There's a crafting table behind the dark oak table, and you can see Minebao once again comfy in the bed, as usual.
On the third floor the comfy room didn't change much, except for its newrst occupant
Tumblr media
The fox, who was much easier to obtain than I thought he'd be, which I am very thankful for. Getting the dogs accross the ocean was hard enough, so getting this guy was a nice reprieve xD
And on the balcony of the cozy room there's another new addition!
Tumblr media
More flowers, and a swing! This is a very nice place to hang out in at night, not mobs have ever gotten up here and it's so far up they don't even notice me!
New and improved Big Boy House with an additional five friends and buildings! Yay me :D
