Mipha is a sweet, sensitive soul with a strong intuition and empathy towards others. She may be soft and kind, but is by no means a pushover. On the contrary, she possesses a deep strength and grit that not many would guess lies under the surface. Once she has warmed up she has quite the cheeky sense of humour among her friends, and she cherishes her close connection with Link.

"It's just the rain." - a watercolor ATC from 2021. Prince Sidon is a character I always wanted to paint (especially since Ocarina of Time woke my love for the Zora people, even inspiring me to create a Zora OC), but I hesitated to do so for a long time, simply because I didn't know how to depict him in my semi-realistic style. I couldn't be happier with the final result tho. One day I want to paint Mipha properly, too. ♥

I don’t know if I’ll finish this, but I sketched out a short comic where Link and Mipha first meet. I imagine that Link and other knights in training (14ish in age) are sent out on their first camping trip, and Link being Link, gets curious and leaves camp to explore a noise.

He comes across Mipha, a zora who was very curious about the fire she saw lit down Zora River. Link is curious too, as Mipha is the first zora he meets. The two talk to one another about their lives, which only gets Link more curious about this “Zora’s Domain” Mipha refers to. Which then leads to the Zora Princess sneaking her new found friend into the domain at night. The two end up exploring and talking until dawn, when Link realizes he needs to return to his camp.

But before the two part ways, Mipha states that Link is more than welcome to return. Link says he will most definitely find a way to do that, and calls Mipha his friend.

And then cue Link finding many times to sneak away from his knightly trainings to meet up with his zora friend.
