TEARS OF THE KINGDOM SPOILERS AHEAD!!
****
Zoras domain: a scourge of black sludge is infecting our drinking water and destroying many of our precious art, including a statue in honor of our late princess who many of us were alive to remember the death of.
Rito village: our city is frozen over by a horrible blizzard caused by a massive storm raging above. Food is growing scarce. If something isn’t done soon, our home will become unsuitable.
Gerudo town: the extreme heat and cold combined with a horrible dust storm make venturing outside of our city walls dangerous. The addition of horrifying skeleton monsters have forced us to hide away in our homes. Our town appears completely abandoned to the outside eye.
Gorgon city: that’s some NASTY ROCK MEAT

"What have you come into that you had to work for?" Revali looked down the length of his beak at the smaller Zora, and watched as she wrung her hands on her trident. He started to snort, to dismiss her -at least to himself- as meek and quiet, until she opened her mouth and spoke in a clear and ringing voice.
"I was named the zora champion because of my Grace, not my father." Mipha had row upon row of sharp, pointed teeth, and they glinted when she sketched a small smile. "I created Mipha's Grace myself, and worked for years to master the ability so that it would do what I wanted how and when. Do not take your own feelings of inadequacy out on me."
Revali actually recoiled, beak falling open as he sputtered for a moment. He recovered quickly, however, and stepped back into her space with a glare. "All of you have had family to fall back on if you slipped up. How do I know you won't crumble at the first sign of trouble? That you won't look Calamity Ganon in the massive, smoke and tendril encrusted head and turn tail?"
"I have seen battle before!" She frowned, and he felt a surge of triumph at getting some sort of emotional response out of her. He suspected that it wasn't a very common reaction.
"Oh, my mistake. I'm sure the moblins are rightfully afraid of you." He was having fun now, and crinkled his eyes at her.

Miphvali! Uhhhh... 94!
Brief warning: this takes place in the uhh Age of Calamity 'verse one could say, so beware of some spoilers for that if you intend to play it and haven't yet!!
You know you can't keep letting it get you down And you can't keep dragging that dead weight around This Too Shall Pass by OKGO
Mipha glances over her shoulder towards him as she hears him approach, and startles slightly when she sees him. "Oh, Revali! Let me-"
He raises a wing to stop her. "Not another move. You don't need to stand up for me, Mipha. I'm not royalty, remember?"
"Well, no. I suppose you're not," she admits after a second. She settles back into her position sitting at the very edge of the village's take-off landing, her legs dangling over the side, but given the small pout on her face, she's not exactly comfortable with forgoing the polite greeting.
Revali sits beside her, letting his tail fan out across the wooden planks behind him. "I couldn't help but notice that you had snuck off from the festivities," he says, giving her a smirk.
"Oh, I hope I didn't cause any offense," Mipha says, the white scales in her face starting to tinge pink. "I didn't want to interrupt the fun everyone was having just to say I was taking a little break."
Revali scoffs. "Believe me, no one's going to be offended. I sneak off from festivals all the time. Honestly, I don't know if I'm going to be able to handle four of these things every year."
Mipha laughs, a quiet melodic little thing that she half tucks behind a hand. "Yes, I know what you mean."
He's not sure whose idea it was - the Princess, the King, one of their fellow Champions, perhaps? But someone had had the brilliant idea to celebrate their victory over the Calamity with a grand festival, hosted by different regions of Hyrule at the height of each of the four seasons. Four seasons for four Champions, from their time and not, for four Divine Beasts.
Someone had realized that having a summer celebration in the desert or on top of an active volcano wasn't a particularly smart idea, so here they all were, in the cool summer air of the Hebra region. Far below them, several giant wooden rafts had been set up on the surface of Lake Totori, and people from all across Hyrule were gathered on top of them - talking and laughing and playing games with each other as the sunlight sparkled across the deep blue waters.
He watches the small smile fade from Mipha's face as she watches the crowd, particularly the massive figure of King Dorephan floating in the water, chatting and laughing with Daruk and Robbie about something. Several children from every race across Hyrule climb his shoulders to the top of his head, where they then use his tail fin as a giant water slide. Prince Sidon seems to be ecstatic to help some of the children with the climb he's no doubt an expert in.
Revali swallows down some sort of strange blockage in his throat. Why in the world had the others thought it was best to send him to talk to her about this? He was perfectly comfortable just sitting here in silence with her, but no, somehow they had convinced him that since no one else had been able to get through to her, perhaps he could. He takes a deep breath, knowing they'd never let him live it down if he didn't go through with it now.
"Mipha, this might be a… superfluous question," he says, "but have you ever heard of a creature called a 'ghost'?"
She looks up from the lake beneath them, tilts her head, raising a finger to lean her cheek against it. "I've definitely heard the word before. I feel as though there's a story about a Zora queen who met one, but it's not one I'm familiar with."
"Understandable. Every race has different stories, and not all of them overlap," he says. "I had certainly never heard of a 'Dodongo' before spending a night in an outpost with a bunch of Gorons."
Mipha hums in agreement. "Why do you ask? About ghosts, I mean."
"Ah, they're crucial elements to what I'm sure many Rito would agree is our most important legend." Revali can't help the pride that seeps from his voice, placing a wing against his breastplate. "The story of the great sage Medli."
"Oh!" Mipha turns and cranes her neck far back, shielding her eyes against the sun with a hand. Far up above them, at the very top of the great stone spire Rito Village was built around, Revali's Divine Beast perches, silent, watchful. "The sage Vah Medoh is named after?"
"The very same. But if I were to start talking about her, I would be getting off topic," Revali says, as much as a reminder to himself as it is to Mipha.
"Yes." She nods, attentive, smiling gently. "You mean to tell me what ghosts are, if I understand your intention?"
Revali narrows his eyes, briefly scanning her over for some sign of sarcasm. Based on his own experiences and the incessant whispering they seemed to do around Princess Zelda, he had gotten used to the idea that those who belonged to the higher classes of Hyrule were shifty little creatures, hiding their true feelings behind politeness and curtsies and bows.
But as he'd gotten to know her, he had realized that such a quality certainly didn't apply to Mipha. She never pretended to be interested in something just to be polite. She listened, genuinely listened, and did her best to remember the things the people around her told her, even if some might not consider it important.
He clears his throat of another strange blockage. Why was she always so distracting…?
"According to the stories, sometimes a person's physical body will die, but the soul refuses to leave our world to move on to the next. The soul that's left behind is what we call a ghost."
"'Refuses to move on'," Mipha repeats, her smile fading. "Why is that?"
"It depends on the story. Sometimes, if the ghost is filled with hatred or regret, it'll transform into another creature called a 'Poe'. But that's an entirely separate topic. Ghosts are generally tragic heroic figures, remaining behind to fulfill some sacred duty, or to watch over their loved ones even after their death."
As he expected, Mipha's gaze crawls towards her father and brother in the lake beneath them.
"In Medli's story," he continues, letting his voice soften, "she was guided towards her destiny by the ghost of a Zora sage."
"A Zora?"
"Yes. Ganon had sent a monster to kill her, in the hopes that without the Zora's prayers, the Master Sword would weaken in power. Unfortunately, the monster was successful, but the Zora's spirit remained, waiting for the day someone would find her temple again."
A breeze ruffles through his feathers, her clothes. He wonders if he's really going to go through with saying the next part, because he's sure it's too clumsy to be truly effective, that'll make her put down the weight of uncertainty they've all noticed her carrying for months.
"I don't know what would've happened, if Zelda's little… egg hadn't done what it did," he says, watching the little white speck far below them. He's not sure what it's up to, but Impa is apparently trying to chase after it yet again. "If your brother hadn't arrived when he did."
Mipha lets go of a shuddering breath.
"But I think that, even if the worst had happened, that wouldn't have been able to stop you," Revali says, staring out at the horizon, pointedly not at her, even when he hears her turn to look at him him. "I think you love them too much. I think not even death could fully take you away from them."
He shrugs a shoulder, and when he glances sidelong at her, he pretends to not notice the way she wipes at her eyes. "But, that's in the past, isn't it? And there isn't much use in worrying about the what-might-have-beens, is there?"
"No, I suppose not," Mipha says, and this time when she smiles, tears in the corner of her eyes, he sees a gleam of several sharp white teeth. She really was her brother's sister after all.
He's not sure how long they stay up there, sitting beside each other on the edge of the take-off platform, but at some point, Mipha gets close enough that her head tips over and rests against his shoulder. "Thank you, Revali," she says.
He tries to will his feathers to flatten back down against his skin. "Don't mention it," he says, and is not entirely sure how much he means it.

Crying over the thought of no one remembering Link’s birthday. Like after the 100 years, Link wakes up and realizes one day he cannot recall his birthday.
To his dismay, neither Impa, Robbie, Purah nor Zelda recall his birthday. He acts as if it isn’t a big deal, but he’s always finding himself quite sad when celebrating the birthdays of others.
Sidon notices at his own birthday celebration that his Hylian friend has a sense of sorrow. One that isn’t possible to rid of with his famous smile and flex. When Sidon approaches Zelda, she reveals that Link cannot recall his birthday, and that no one who knew him 100 years ago seemed to remember or take note. Sidon looks sympathetic towards the revelation, but then he has a thought…
Moments later, it becomes rather apparent that Sidon, the literal 10 foot tall birthday shark, has slipped away from his own party! A search begins around the domain. Where did he wander off to?
While looking around, Link finds himself being the one to enter Sidon’s room. He hears a flipping of pages, and he curiously notices Sidon looking through a journal. Before Link’s presence gets known, Sidon smiles his famous smile, and shouts “I KNEW IT”!
Link walks over to the happy shark man. Wondering why Sidon dipped from his own celebration to read a… paper journal. One that seems… familiar. Mipha’s journal?
Sidon, seeing his friend, scoops him up in excitement! Shouting over and over a date that wasn’t too far off in the future. Link looked confused, and when Sidon noticed said confusion, Sidon smiled. “Your birthday, Link! Mipha… she wrote it down! I knew she would!”
Link looked puzzled for a moment. What did Link’s birthday have to do with anything? But then he understood… his birthday WAS remembered. It had a date again. It wasn’t lost. Sidon couldn’t help but show the page of Mipha’s diary that spoke of Link’s upcoming birthday. Of the plans she had to surprise him despite the calamity looming.
Link couldn’t help but tear up at his smiling tail-wagging friend. Sidon looked concerned, thinking he did something wrong, but the tight hug Link gave him said otherwise. He thanked him. Repeatedly. And Sidon only began to smile again. Immediately beginning to ramble off birthday plans for his dearest friend.
But to Sidon’s dismay, Link cut him off. Telling him that it’s not Link’s birthday they should be celebrating right now. That Sidon has a party to get back to. Sidon only pouts playfully before readying to return to the celebration.
After the two do, Link couldn’t help but catch himself looking towards Mipha’s statue throughout the party. A few looks paired with a smile, but a few… a few felt tied with tears.
