Here is something we’ve been working on for the last year or so.

Exchanged Fates AU

A pretty uncomplicated “master Garmadon lives AU”. It is changed that Wu instead was the one who banished the Anacondrai Generals to the Cursed Realm, and thus he was the one that had to be banished in the s4 finale. The AU explores the many changes this could bring.

We have this AU technically worked out till season 12. Particular AUs that we hope to work out in detail are season 5, 8, 9, 10 and 11. Season 6, 7 and 12 happen but there is very little of note on what changes in those seasons so far.

This AU may be veeerrryyy self-indulgent for us, but we hope you all find enjoyment in it too! And if you have any questions regarding the AU, our ask box is always open! Rach wants to add doodles to the responses, if appropriate.

Obsessed with Misako as a character. Nerdy badass archeologist who marries into destiny's favourite family (derogatory), gives birth to the literal savior of the universe and tries to save the people she loves from the clutches of the narrative. She didn't have to be a part of these prophesies, she could've lived a normal life but no, she's going to directly insert herself into the story and do her damnedest to help any way she can. Even if she messes up, even if it means watching everyone she loves get hurt over and over and over again, she puts herself on the front lines of an eternal war and refuses to back down. I love her.

Finally finished my concept for a Dragon's Rising Misako after 3 separate ideas. Hanging onto the idea of her being a traveling merchant, but also wandering the realms in search of answers for the merge and about that new forbidden Spinjitzu. This is prime time to remember that Misako does Spinjitzu too guys, I know it was a one season only thing but you gotta remember it'll be cool I promise. (Please don't repost my art, reshares are chill tho)

Survivalshipping is funny and amazing and i love it but yknow what would make it even funnier? If, on top of Garmadon dating Vinny, Misako ends up dating, like, Gayle Gossip. Completely independently of him, like neither Misako nor Garmadon are aware of the other's new relationship. So then when they both get invited as the plus-one to like an NGTV News company dinner or something, theyre both just kinda staring at each other like -

Meanwhile Lloyd is just kinda dying in the background. He thought his family drama would end with his dads evil corpse disowning him and adopting a plant instead, but nope! Now hes gotta deal with whatever the hell this is

The fact there are people in this fandom who legitimately believe post-S8 Garmadon is a better parent than Misako…

Y’all, please get some media literacy, please. The show has gone out of its way to show that post-S8 Garm is NOT a good person or father, no matter how you slice it. Misako, think what you want of her, has made up with Lloyd and had a good relationship with him for ten years (IRL time since the episode’s air date), and 15 seasons. Like her or not, she isn’t and hasn’t been a bad mother to Lloyd since her debut episode, Garmadon (post-S8) objectively has been.

I love Garmadon as much as everyone else, but we can like a character while also acknowledging their shitty actions and behaviors (and before anyone comes for me, YES, I do this for Misako too. I acknowledge fully how her actions pre-S1 hurt Lloyd, but I also acknowledge nothing she could’ve done in that situation wouldn’t have been damaging to him).
