While working on a blog post a couple of weeks ago I was diggin' through old photos.  Found this lap quilt I made for my sister several years ago. She's gone to be with the Lord now and I'm not sure where this quilt is.  I only hope it's being loved and snuggled!  I miss my sister!😒

i cant remember the last time i felt truly happy...

I used to love this time of yr, christmas used to be another day where i was happy to see family, catch up, spend time together, put up with aunty so and so and uncle bob saying the same shit each and every year. “i remember when you were this high/lil”. blah blah... the drama entails. laugh and carry on like nothing has changed, i suppose taking life for granted while noone ever thinks that life can just stop and give you no insight to when or who or why.

i already am STRUGGLING and am not afraid to tell it like it is. I am SICK and TIRED of people asking, how are you?? how do i think i really am. i wake up constantly tired, i am constantly reminded of grief, im constantly reminded ineveitably that my sister isnt here anymore, im constantly thrown in that fire pit by everyone and family just doesnt get it. the extended family think they are helping bu making me talk about it but did they ever seem to think that maybe just maybe i dont want to have to think about it for a couple of hrs away at a family wedding. Or maybe i just want a glass of wine in a chilled out setting? always always have to drag me through the mud.

i know its not their fault. i suppose they are struggling in their own way but everytime i have to sift through my own emotions, my own suffering and pain it shatters my heart again each time. i get anxious, i get sad and all i want to do is cry, i still find now that i walk around the shops trying to get this and that rushing for peoples pressies and see something my sister would love think about it and it hits me shes not here anymore. not physically but i just sigh. i know shes not here but i still wish she was. 

i miss talking to her, i miss laughing with her, i miss gossiping with her. i just miss watching tv with her, txt msging or just getting angry at her, crying with her, shopping with her. i just miss her. shes never coming back.

👩‍👧Happy Daughters Day!!! I just saw that it’s #daughtersday , so I had to post some pictures of my beautiful daughter Giana Alexis, my amazing mother and my gorgeous sister and I (with my brother- I love you @bmklotz11 ). My mother is the most selfless person I have ever met and instilled in me the ethics and morals I needed to be a good person, and I love her for it.
