youse know its been 7 years. 7 YEARS and I still cannot watch Moana 2016 without crying from 'I Am Moana' onwards!!!! like as soon as Auliʻi Cravalho starts singing "I am a girl who loves my island and a girl who loves the sea, it calls me...' Moana defining herself by the love she has for her land, her culture, her people, her family and how they all love her and how that love is inseparable from who she is because it is who she is and how her big mission is restoring a HEART, restoring LOVE to a God who had it taken from them and how she restores that heart with the HONGI, with the sharing of being and for Moana she is a being of love!!! it's all about how love for oneself comes from loving what and who makes you who you are from the land you care for and cares for you to your history that guides you and it's right there in Moana singing that she's a girl who loves her island!!! and a girl who loves the sea!!!!

I set a few rules for what qualifies: first, only films from Disney’s Animated Canon were considered; second, the song must be sung by or about a villain in the theatrical cut of the film - no cut songs; and third, the song must have lyrics - it cannot be a leitmotif or score cue.

I did consider a few other songs, but I decided against including them because they were either not clearly villain songs, or I thought one of the other songs on the list would make for a better or more interesting voting option.
