I’m so fortunate to get to spend much needed time with my favorite person in the world! @drmothmaam Thank you for spending the day with me! You’re literally amazing and I missed you so much! Also this pizza spot slaps hard!!
Also thank you to @the-vanir-queen for video chatting me for like an hour while I waited for at PP! You’re the real hero here!
one thing I really really appreciate abt riz gukgak as a character is that he is un-self-aware to the max. he inhabits his body so completely. the arc that would usually be run as "I'm different and unable to connect with my friends in this way that everyone seems to be able to do and so something's wrong with me and I don't like myself" when it comes to riz is actually like no! I have literally no problems or praises for myself personally. I don't stand outside of my own self and judge it. it's phrased as "other people will eventually find someone more important to them than you" rather than centering it on his self-perception. he doesn't know why he doesn't have the best social life on earth even though he's not afraid at all to talk to other people. every time he sees himself in someone else's actions or behaviour he gets startled by it. his latest epilogue is realizing seemingly for the first time that he's not just an agent of causes but an actual character. he's my hero and I want to be him when I grow up
the best thing about mulder & scully is that their romance never trumps their friendship. that's why they were able to come back to each other in the revival. it's why the pace of their relationship makes sense. it's why they stayed together through every phase & hardship & conflict. the respect & trust they built their entire lives on can't be broken, they won't let it.
she's 16. she rents a single room above a butcher shop in Townwhoknowswhere, half a globe away from home. she hasn't spoken to her mum back in Tokio in years. she has no friends. everyone in the gang would wrestle demons in knee-deep mud for her. nobody truly gets her. she's an outstanding listener. she stands up for her boundaries, mantaining an inquisitive spirit. she keeps the parasites who wanted to explode through every orifice in her body in a little mason jar; they are nothing but explicitly mean to her. she tries to reason with them everytime. she shows the ghost boy from the 1900s Scooby Doo and bonds with him over mutual Kindness and Autism. being in her proximity makes people inherently better and more understanding. she arrives at the scene of the crime 45 minutes late banging pots and pans. she's a fashion colour-coding icon. she loves love. she's never kissed anyone. she's the wingwoman. the date she sets up for Jenny and Maxine ends in the serial killer woman getting her head split in half. she outtricks the Night Nurse with the power of excellent media comprehension trained on yaoi mangas, and saves the day. she acquired a small bear charm before she died and now she will live forever. nobody, nobody does it like her
