Eid Mubarak lovelies.

Since my father passed away during the lockdown, it was the first time going for Eid Prayer to the Masjid without him, and oh god, it was so hard. I couldn't stop my tears the whole time. It hits harder on days like these.

May Allah reunite us with our loved ones in His Jannathul Firdaus.

Ameen.

wanted to draw my main SWTOR toons, Nes’ria and Ran’eton. then i wanted to draw them in different outfits. then i was like ‘fuck it, i’ll draw their whole family’.

First pic is their “work uniforms”, ie what they wear most of the time. Nes’ria’s outfit is based on the Dramatic Extrovert set, and Ran’eton’s is just straight up the Hoth Agent set (bc it’s sexy). Second pic is casual wear, third is formal wear.

Then we have the whole family, with their dad Govon, mom Celessa, and little bro Das’rin. 

i wrote a little backstory for them too, because of course i did.

Govon Halcard is a powerful and stoic Sith Lord who gained most of his influence in politics and business deals. Of course, he desired a strong legacy, and so set out to produce powerful heirs that he hoped would guide the Empire to glory and victory. When looking at his options, he decided to arrange a match with the Calyon family, who owned a large cybernetics company on Ziost and were known for producing Force sensitive children. Bizzarely, however, Govon chose to marry the Force-blind Celessa, with whom he had fallen deeply in love with. He took the Calyon name upon their marriage. Though it may seem as though he favors Nes’ria, his only Force sensitive child, he cares for all his children deeply. For a Sith, he’s remarkably awful at showing his emotions.

Celessa Calyon is the current CEO of Calyon Cybernetics, and is as charming as she is ruthless. Her twin sister was already a Sith Lord, and a smug and cruel one at that. As her parents were arranging a match between her sister and fellow Sith Lord Govon, Celessa was being forced into a match with a dullard major she had no desire to wed. So, the cunning Celessa opted to steal her twin’s groom, through honeyed words and subtle seduction. When Govon then proposed to Celessa, her parents had no choice but to consent to the match, despite the major’s protests and her twin’s outrage. Despite their beginnings, Celessa has grown to truly love Govon; the only people she loves more fiercely are their children.

Das’rin Calyon is the youngest of Celessa and Govon’s children, having been born unexpectedly. It is still unknown if he has any talent in the Force, though it’s become abundantly clear that the cheerful child has a future in technology -- he enjoys tinkering with droids and cybernetics, and currently has dreams of going into weapon development when he’s old enough. He idolizes both his older siblings, who in turn adore and spoil him (though Nes’ria is much more brazen about it than Ran’eton).

Bonus fun fact: The kids all call each other by their nicknames: Ran, Ria, and Rin.
