remus: yeah i dunno. we talked about it and he seemed sincere so we figured we’d give it another try, and sirius has been trying so hard to make things right

Remus knowing how to knit because he used to spend a lot of time with his mom inside the house so she tought him how to

so he knows how to make nice fuzzy jumpers, he makes them for himself to wear and not worry about buying expensive clothes

and when he meets Sirius, that only has clothes that are too fancy and that he hate cause they make him look like his family

Remus makes the most colorful and warm jumpers he can for Sirius to be comfortable and happy

and they're basically the only thing Sirius wears the whole winter
