My go to plan as soon as I get totk:
Get through the tutorial area (probably in the sky then need to get back on to the surface)
Go to hateno. See if the zelink living in the hateno house together fanfics were real.
Check out something specific relating to the art book leak. (Not describing or sharing the leak so don't worry about spoilers from me! :)
Find a horse that at least looks like the one I had in breath of the wild, my beloved baby boy Romeo who can do and hasn't done nothing wrong ever in the entire 6 years of his life (he kicked me off a cliff four separate times):
Tumblr media
Go to Gerudo desert because out of all regions it's the one I'm the most interested in seeing the state of post Ganondorf resurrection(?) murderous pissy fit.
I'm going to build me a big fuck off Zonai tractor.
Zelda. I need to know if she's alright, I would like to find out this earlier on but that's probably going to be found out through story and I really do want to take my time with it.
I need to see what the hell is happening with this korok with a backpack:
Tumblr media
Speaking of the koroks, uhm... korok forest is gone. I definitely want to check that out. (Sorry this picture so so fucking blurry with how it's zoomed in but the forests gone)
Tumblr media
I need to find out if I can glue two Royal claymores together (or an equivalent) to make a big fuck off abomination claymore that does double claymore damage that looks like this:
Tumblr media
Go back to eventide. I wonder if they added something there. It seems like something thats a no brainer to do.
Check out what the fuck is going on with the labyrinths I can't find the screenshots now but I remember seeing some of them floating with the sky islands at some point.
If if I can find a sky island resembling at least a little bit of skyloft. I feel it in my bones that Nintendo would pull that type of shit. Or not because this is also Nintendo.
Documenting literally every even hint of a zelink moment in the entire game so I can make several posts gushing over it in the future.
Take lots of screenshots! I actually played breath of the wild on wii u and never on switch so of course I never really had that screenshot or recording capability so I finally can really go all out in this game.
The dragon that is 10000% a fucking Gleeok on the bridge of Hylia I've already determined is going to be the first overworld boss I fight. 🙂 I can't wait to fight it with only five or so hearts 🙂
Tumblr media
Amd finally since amiibo support is confirmed and costumes are too - the artbook actually confirmed it but I don't really think that's a spoiler because it's a very obvious mechanic to bring back than just having them be used once only for the paraglider skins you get that was officially confirmed here below so I can't wait to get my ocarina of time and twilight princess gear back that I can wear for the whole game!
Tumblr media
Over all I just really want to have fun in this game and really it looks like it's going to deliver. I can't wait to sink hundreds if not thousands of hours into and I REALLY REALLY hope it can at least fix a lot of it's predecessors issues, especially with how it executes it's story. I keep saying it, breath of the wild *had* the potential to be one of the best zelda stories ever but it was done so extremely poorly trying to tell it, majority of it is just ruined. I sincerely hope Nintendo has learned their lesson from that and actually let the Link/you the player actually play throughand experience the games narrative instead of just... having it exposition dumped onto you over and over in flashback cutscenes as stuff that's already happened and can't be changed. I went having this game with very low confidence it was first revealed in 2019, but the more and more I keep seeing it now the higher my optimism gets and I actually genuinely hope this game is really good.
I'm actually wishing the best for it and desperately hope it doesn't disappoint. We've all waited so long, and now we have only a little bit more to go.

I've tried keep away from shipping spheres in sonic because they tend to be very, very, toxic in this fandom in particular but I've decided: eh, you know what fuck it and say sonic and knuckles' interactions in frontiers were fucking adorable and I like them together. They work off each other very well and with this iteration and new writing direction they have fantastic chemistry together I hope that sticks around for future games.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And just look at them, they're fucking dorks.

I know this is random but it's something I want to talk about. Random Shiny Pokemon PSA:
I'm in the belief that all shinies, full odds, method odds, traded, Go shinies, shinies from Legends/Scvi with - and let's be honestly real here - almost laughable easy odds to find, etc they all have value as long as they mean something to the person who caught it. All shinies have value, sure some rarer than others but at the end of the day it should all depend on you on how proud and achieved you feel finding/catching/hatching it and calling it yours and even with how corny it sounds, cherish the memories you made along the way to finding it.
Tumblr media
Unless you spend actual real life money to buy shiny pokemon online (that are most likely hacked anyway so they can be sold in mass in a real scummy way) those don't count and shouldn’t count, in my and I think a lot of other's opinion.

One personal critique of totk of mine is the Sage abilities
All of them - except Tulin, his is A+++++ I'm so proud of him - they all... kind of suck. They work for their respective dungeons yeah but once you finish them? 😬 The second best I'd have to say is Yunobo's his roll ability is really useful when it comes to cave exploration and depths voyages for rock breaking but then you have Mineru's who is handing for traversal in gloom and lava situations but not at all in combat, Riju's which I only use for when I need emergency extra damage in critical situations and Sidon's the actual fucking worse with his discount Wish dot com Daruks protection and the water slash ability that doesn't hit the opponent 80% of the time.
And then things get even worse when you're running around and the following you and either constantly in your way or constantly spawning and despawning and respawning every five fucking seconds it gets annoying where I only now have Tulin and one other sage to handle whatever situation I'm in and if there is none I'm only traveling with Tulin because he's the best and most reliable, important, all around useful to have and the only time I turn him off is rare situations where I specifically don't want him to kill certain enemies like the rock octarocks that can fully refurbish your weapons because he's THAT GOOD. He's like a little feathery death machine.
Honestly the Sages (except Tulin I CAN'T stress that enough) are such a downgrade game play wise in comparison to the champions in breath of the wild. The champions were all balanced, reliable, and each one important and tailored to each aspect of the overall the the entire time you played:
Revail - focused on vertical traversal, got you places quicker and convenient. Also could be such a life saver to be escape from dire combat situations like you don't know how many times this bird helped me survive guardian encounters. Tulin's ability is a lot like his in a way and serves the same purpose, only sending you horizontal instead of vertical and while I do miss the vertical wind I do get why they made it that way since we have asend now which sort of does the same thing but on a slower, situational scale but I do very much appreciate the horizontal wind and it's also just as helpful.
Daruk - focused on defense, gives you three free hits before enemies can damage you and can absolutely save you life in dire encounters there's not much left to say, it's a fairly simple ability but it's one of the most helpful that will you will use and probably never take off for the entire game the moment you get it. Sidon's is the equivalent of this. It sucks. A lot. Only has one use and you have to walk your way over to his tall lank ass to activate it instead of just pressing a button (we will come back to this point later)
Urbosa - focuses on offense, my God. This is the most overpowered combat focused ability like. Ever. No wonder its the second largest to take to charge. There's so much versatility when it comes to this move, it activates as you charge up an attack you you get that charge move you'd get anyway without it AND an enemy deleting area of effect in such a large radius???? Insane. Riju's is sort of the equivalent but you have to do it with arrows (again and the bullshit walking up to her to physical activating it which I've personally accidentally triggered her ability at least A THOUSAND times when I'm just mashing A to collect stuff) and it's a lot less powerful, which hey I get this one I'm not too mad at being less stronger than the original with just how insane stupid overpowered Urbosa's fury was.
Mipha - health/life, this is the one ability that statistically probably doesn't get used as much as the other three (depending on what kind of player you are 💀) but I'd argue it's literally the most helpful out of the four. It's quite literally you're free fairy in a bottle, your free escape death because your stubborn horse Romeo kicked you off the bridge of Hylia twelve separate times card (true story) If you're stupid plan fails and you get practically one shotted by a lynel it's Mipha whose saving your ass AND SHE EVEN GIVES YOU EXTRA YELLOW HEARTS!!! Mipha is amazing and it sucks totk didn't give an equivalent ability because it would've personally helped me during SO MANY frustrating moments in my first initial playthrough it's such a same.
My point here is the champions abilities were all as equally useful and balanced, as you unlock them you use them all playthrough and never really stop using them and they naturally become a part of the game play loop and it's nice. The Sages aren't like that besides Tulin and a occasionally Yunobo and Mineru they're just... meh. Forgettable. AND THE WAY YOU ACTIVATE THEM??? THE ACTUAL FUCKING WORST. In breath of the wild the champions abilities were so easy and each of them had a dedicated button to hold down (except Mipha's whose activates automatically the second you reach zero hearts) and it was all so convenient. There's no reason the Sages powers should work the way they do, having to run over to them mostly during battle to press a for the ability to come up only for them to run away from the the mere second you need them and just keep doing so again usually in battle when you NEED them (I'm looking directly at you Sidon) AND GOD FORBID YOU TRY AND PICK UP A GROUP OF ITEMS LYING ON THE GOUND. It's all so miserable. There's no reason Nintendo thought it'd be better than convenient dedicated button presses like the last game there was no reason!! But at least and not shockingly Tulin proves again to be the best sage and his ability has it easy to use and the prompt automatically pops up when you pull out the paraglider, when you're the most likely to use it anyway.
I hope but highly doubt in enviable story DLC that we get enhanced versions of the sage abilities like botw did and maybe, just maybe the option to toggle button use for them. I feel like that would help even just a little bit.
I don't know how to end this post but look at him. I'm proud of him:

If you needed further proof that it's been a good few years between breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom, Link is an actual adult now, Link can now actually buy and drink Noble Pursuit which he couldn't in botw because he was considered at "kid" (mentally 17 via the shadow the hedgehog or aang from avatar cryogenic statis logic) by the bar lady and she has no problem selling to him now.
Idk, buying and drinking alcohol legally sounds like an adult thing to me and also since all the children from botw seemed to have grown considerably taller and less "toddlerish" if I can to guess I'd say its been five years at best? So like that'd make both Link and probably Zelda too since their probably the same age - since like in all past games they usually are - to be like... 22? 122 technically but you know what I mean. I think around that age range make the most sense 🤷🏻‍♂️
Tumblr media
I think this is really neat, it means botw/totk Link is the second Link since ocarina of time that we play both kid and adult versions of the same iteration. (fierce deity mask in majora's mask taking form of adult Link I'm not counting)

I have a question. Tears of the Kingdom, final boss fight. Where are we stabbing him this time?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Personally, my bet is in the chest. It's been shown to be where the assumed strongest malice comes from, right at it's source and from the wall flash from the first trailer it shows the Hand™ attacked him in order to seal him so I'm thinking like with Twilight Princess where he was stabbed and killed in the stomach exactly in the same place where the sages stabbed him during his failed execution, that the final blow in Tears of the Kingdom is also going to be yet again going to be thematically symbolic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, related but unrelated I'm literally SO excited to see this seen above in some kind of flashback. I'm fucking desperate to learn the Zonai connection/relationship with Ganondorf that would get them (or at least one of them/or maybe is one of their Deities, either way is the owner of the Hand™ most likely) to be 99% be the ones to seal him away like this, and given the expression and body language of Ganondorf's shadow here I think it's safe to say this sealing was definitely not a willing or constentful one and giving how the Hand is now helping Link by giving/providing his new abilities and the fact dragons, the representation of courage (going from the Zonai animal statues all over Hyrule of dragons, owls, and boars that these represent the respective elements of the Triforce) are found literally on every aspect of the Sky Islands which with the confirmation in the gameplay demo that the Constructs - that are 100% pulling a Ghibli Castle in the Sky on us and said constructions set on protecting/tending to the islands - are Zonai built meaning the islands and everything artificial on them were made by them (and they're undoubtedly living also living up there maybe in an equivalent to a settlement like Skyloft) So with that, it's obvious with just how much and how many dragon imagery and statutes there are where they're even on the logo of the game, that they tend to favor courage - the direct tribute historically associated with the hero - out of the triforce. Hell, maybe even why the Hand™ saves Link from falling (but not Zelda, RIP) is because he's the hero and stopping iterations of Demise's curse is like templated to BE his destiny, therefore the Hand™ knows saving Link from the fall in order for him to grow stronger to defeat Ganondorf is a must. As for Zelda? As the goddess' blood desendant she'll be fine, right? 🙂 (guys she'll be FINE)
Idk, I just have a gut feeling that like with how Zelda's powers and role was like the major focus in Breath of the Wild that we might get more focus on Link's here and honestly? I think could very much work. Like with this iteration of Zelda and Link having fully developed characterizations together with their amazingly excellent wonderful quality relationship shown off in botw alone but I would ADORE seeing more of in totk, it'd be very much appreciated and cool.
I rambled on enough, anyway, I think it's safe to say the Zonai are on our side and drink their "fuck Ganon, the piece of shit." juice every day.

About Dragona
I already saw the gender/pronoun debacle a mile away from when they were first introduced in the chapter and as a trans individual I thought I'd give my two sense on the topic:
Important note of interest; the image below is a fan translation, not official, that uses he/him. Given this is just translation, this shouldn't be taken as 100% cemented fact we should keep in mind until we get official confirmations. That also being said, I think it's also important to say if someone uses he/him pronouns for Dragona because of this translation - don't attack them if you use otherwise and same thing goes if you use he/him and you interact with others who use she/her or they/them strictly. I'd say until official confirmation or translation everything's fair game and always if a confirmation or whatever comes you don't agree with there's always 🌟headcanon🌟
Tumblr media
Now, personally? I can see Araki really going either way with this? Like I feel people tend to forget that while of not being ~perfect~ the guy's tend to be like... progressive? At least in some sense? So like I'm saying it's not out of the realms of complete impossibility for Dragona to be a trans woman? Just in... an Araki way? So a bit eeeh. But I could also see Dragona being a cis man, just non gender conforming which, hey, that's cool too! I feel like if Dragona was a cis woman the translators would've had no issue with translating that (but granted I'm not familiar with translating japanese so idk) so I think likely either they're trans or cis man whose gnc. And you know what? I'm cool with that. Either option would be neat no matter what I think personally so I'm just going to roll with the flow with whatever pronouns for them until we hear it officially 🤷🏻‍♂️
...but there's also the secret very very unlikely third option:
Dragona is trans fem, she is very openly and outly transitioning, HOWEVER, the story of part 9 is currently being told by a dumbass 15 year old with JOESTAR blunt edge genes' perspective who has the fucking insight of a fucking rock who hasn't clicked it together yet. (This one's my favorite)

I thought about it for awhile ever since I beat the game but I think I've finally come around to it. I really like Sage, I liked her character and sure it could’ve been a little bit more fleshed out and established *but* I liked her father daughter relationship with Eggman.
Tumblr media
With the hard mode bonus scene ending I think it's clear she's not going anywhere and is sticking around and will be a core member of "team Eggman", I like that. I definitely think there's potential to even build further on her character arc from this game and push it even further and if they keep Flynn at the helm with writing I think we'll get just that if not we should definitely in the comics once the current arc is done and we tap into frontiers stuff. I'm really excited to see what to come after this game in general definitely and I REALLY hope we keep on this track.
All and all very nice step forward :)

So, hi. Now that we're out of wano, my one piece interest is slow peeping around the corner again and I'm rewatching some episodes from Impel Down, as you do, and I completely forgot something:
Crocodile's 'secret' with Ivankov and their favor they did for him. And after like. 14-15 years I've been in this fandom, it finally hit me.
He is not a cisgender man.
Tumblr media
Now granted, this fucking Oda writing this story, bit given context that it's Ivankov - WHO LITERALLY HAS THE POWER OF GENDERFULIDITY - and how fucking really adamant Crocodile is about keeping whatever this secret is under wraps, which to be honest if this is the case and even if it's not Oda's intention (bc, Oda) I definitely relate in someway sometimes to where he's coming from that if he is trans and it's something he definitely wants to keep to himself (and by extention Ivankov and I can possibly see him telling Daz Bones given how close and loyal their work relationship seems) and hey not all trans people want to be "out out" with openly presenting as trans and just live how they want to comfortably and that's perfectly fine! It just depends on your own personal comfort with your gender and some people are more comfortable than others and I definitely respect that.
So his if his favor he made with Ivankov to basically to completely transition him? Fucking king shit, good for him.
And still, he's a completely grey moral character still at the end of the day. He did some really fucked up shit at Alabasta of course but still he can have moments like shielding that pug from the rain with his umbrella (and him being a sand logia user too) in that one cover story. Either way I like him as a character because of that grey morality and if this theory is true and trans masc Croc is canon then hey that just adds a layer of relatablity in a way to him at least to trans audiences.

This ONE scene in the trailer.
Tumblr media
THE ONE SCENE WHERE SONIC TALKS IN THE ENTIRE TRAILER.
Tumblr media
Roger's Sonic in this ONE SCENE had more fucking seriousness and emotion than his Sonic has had in the main games in the last fucking decade. That's not his fault of course, he's just been given very shitty material in the "meta" era of Sonic and in my opinion he's done his best with what he was given. But damn, this just a very pleasant and needed fresh piece of air. Bless fucking Ian Flynn for actually writing him expressing fucking actual emotion towards seeing his friend in trouble and not the shitty "I lost my buddy 🥲" quality that the previous writers gave in like Colors, Lost World, Forces, etc.
We need to wait a bit longer to see more but so far of what's been shown of voice direction? I'm very hopeful and excited for Sonic to be an actual fucking character for the first time since... what? 2009? Since Black Knight? 🧍🏻‍♂️
And with the gameplay looking even more polished than it was in the last direct? I need this game now. 😩

I absolutely fucking HATE the consequences of toxic dudebros being shitheads so much that is ruined people's view on Goku where they feel like they need to dunk on him every chance they get because powerscalers couldn't and can't keep it in their pants and mischaracterized him as this like ruthless, murdering, powerhouse, who makes no mistakes and can and will kill everyone he fights in the process and I fucking HAAAATE it.
Like this is Goku. Sweet, charming, fights for what he believes in, can be a little naive to a detriment at times, and just wants to believe in the best in people, Goku. Like. How can you hate him? He's like Luffy, it should be literally impossible to hate him.
He's like the godfather of shounen protagonists for a reason. And it's not just because of the fights, he's an actual endearing character you want to see succeed. Now say what you want about Super and how it handles a lot of things rather... questionably and Goku being a little bit too much on the 'no brain cell working' but besides a few impossible to ignore moments in the anime and whatever that one conversation he had in Super Hero movie that if you're really paying attention to the series at whole one line of dialog from him there stuck out like a sire thumb... but other than that? He still has the charming bits to him, sure with like a dozen new hair colors but! They're cool. He's cool.
I love Goku.

Okay new Tails-tube short came out and I want to talk about it (mostly about Knuckles edition)
Under the cut because I go on a bit:
#1 Knuckles voice and character direction:
I absolutely love this new Knuckles voice a LOT. Of course Knuckles is being voice by Dave Mitchell, with his first Knuckles role being in Team Sonic racing where his voice there wasn't exactly bad to say but it was clearly trying tbh a bit to hard to be a Travis Willingham impression which I get for the sake of continuity but in that game at least it just seemed kind of too forced and a bit too noticeable to say at least. However, now as this short proves that he is no longer trying to do the Travis impression and is doing his own take on the character which is good!
Like I was very grown used to Travis' Knuckles when having his voice in so many games for so long and I believe personally Boom!Knuckles (at least when ignoring the canonverse Knuckles for just a moment) was definitely his best take on the character and honestly for me at least is most of the part of why Boom worked like it did, not as a sonic show but as a dorky little comedy.
Movie!Knuckles I think is what proved to me that change can absolutely work and was absolutely needed for Knuckles as a character, for so long his character had been so dumbed down and mostly just either used for jokes or incompetent decision making (look at everything he done while he was in charge in Forces) but thanks to the writing and Idris Elba's voicing it turned the page and started a new with Knuckles' portrayal, having him as warrior with honor who spent most of his time growing up alone and made it where while he's not stupid but he does have this naivety to him about how to be around people and exactly what it means to have a true friend letting the S3&K being tricked by Eggman plot line feel more natural than it did in that game. He felt like he had a healthy scale; one end being a warrior with the highest of honors and is absolutely ready to fight whatever and whenever nesscary and on the other end is naive kid new to society and learning the ends and out of what it means to have friends and family and not to be alone, throughout the movie he goes to different parts of the scale depending on the situation and the key of success here was it always felt natural when he did - both sides were him but if need be he can easily switch from one to the other if the situation called for it. It's a nice touch in my opinion and complexes his character out more.
Why do I bring this up? Because new and different voices can do very much a different direction of a character along with different writers and voice directors (there's many examples here in this franchise to take you're pick from) and here in this Tails-tube short Knuckles is proof of all of that; new voice that isn't just an impression of the previous Knuckles' one, new writers especially Ian Flynn which we know was involved with at least this short in particular thanks to one of his tweets, and we *know* there's new voice directors at least in some way while not doing the his 'new voice' for Sonic in this short but given so just how vastly different Roger's Sonic sounds in the small footage we've seen him speak in Frontiers, but even so just everyone who speaks this short sounds WAY less like their interpretations from the meta era sure they made jokes but nothing was nauseating to listen too like it was from colors-forces like you can just telling its Flynn's writing because of just how much it sounds like the IDW comics except it is more exposition dumpy but that's kind of the point of Tails-tube to give us lore and world building for maybe the younger audience who doesn't know much about the previous games so I'm fine with it.
Edit: It's actually Tyson Hesse who wrote and directed this short but pretty much my point still stands, they did an amazing job! :)
#2 Just some more things about Dave's Knuckles I noticed:
Anyway, Dave's Knuckles seems to be slowly forming his own identity in this short and will hopefully be fleshed out more in the Knuckles' prologue short (which I'll come back to later btw) so far he seems to be a lot less bullshity and more serious about his job protecting the Master Emerald than he has been in a very long time, this I'm very happy to see. Also??? This short addresses his consent leaps of absences away from the emerald and actually explains it??? That alone knocked me to the floor. Like he says he leaves to help Sonic whenever trouble he needs his help with comes around, which okay doesn't explain every situation because sometimes Knuckles is seemed just chilling around before the big bad of whatever game it is happens but again maybe there's something a little deeper there of him actually wanting to spend time with his friends just because but he doesn't want to say it out loud so that's the explanation he gives but maybe everyone around him knows that isn't truly the case but chooses not to say anything because the guy tries to keep a front of a guy only concerned with his job but actually cares a lot (which you can both see in this short given the fact even if he doesn't seem impressed or to get why Tails is doing his little internet show he still calls him though concerned at first that he was in danger but still stays on the line to answer Tails' interview questions and even oblivously in that older brother-like way teases him a bit about throwing him off the island for wanting to do tests on the Emerald even though the fox can fly, which was sweet. It's only when Sonic appears that he switches it up back to that front and breaks the camera. So... tsudere a little? Maybe but honestly it was never overbearing or all that noticeable that I think it kind of works and which I find cute but at least Sega is finally remembering that Sonic and Knuckles are also rivals even though their relationship is definitely better than Sonic and Shadow's rivalry which is, you know, more of a cliche hot-mess.
Knuckles' reaction to Rouge just being mentioned was funny.
Not Boom!Knuckles quality of jokes, which is good, but the fucking rock bit was also funny so good thing to know they're trying to regain balance which comedy when it comes to Knuckles' character, afterall even in S3&K comedy was indeed a part of his character (look at the him alone in that game trying not to fall scene and his boss fight being... a joke in itself) "I don't chuckle-" line in his SA2 theme when literally in his first interaction with Sonic that's what he does. ALL OF HIS THEMES IN SA1&2. Literally all of his in game animations in Sonic Riders. This face:
Tumblr media
Yeah they might've dumb down his character over the years and went overboard with the jokes but that's not to say the jokes weren't always there, even indirectly. And that's what makes it work, make him indirectly funny.
When asked about if he what to know more about the Master Emerald he straight up gives the most SA1!Knuckles ass response which it's fitting given his SA1 theme is playing the entire time.
They are straight up hinting at some kind of new form for him involving the emerald in some way, I fucking swear. I feel it in my gut.
Anyway I love him.
#3 Frontiers.
Giving the fact they literally state so in the ending, just happens directly before Frontiers with them mentioning picking up Amy to come and join them. A few things:
Knuckles is still on the island so I'm also assuming the Knuckles prologue takes places right after this short. But we know he's going to also be on the Starfall Islands and is most likely also going to be saved like Amy and probably also Tails so exactly what is going to go down in the prologue animation that is also going to drag him also into cyberspace? Something also having to do with the emeralds?
Speaking of which; they are REALLY hamming in hamming in the roles of the emeralds, which I think is good given its been SO long since they had actual importance in a game. And we know we're getting super sonic at least maybe a few times each on every island given there's some bosses you can only fight using him... but that leaves one question what about the final boss of this game? Are we just going to use maybe a more powered up version of super sonic? Or maybe something else? Who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️
The glitches around the image of Starfall Islands. We know their connected to cyberspace so its not surprising that their glitchy but Tails said the chaos emeralds... lead/shown him the islands? How? I know their magic and all that but don't you think it's strange? Exactly how are these two places connected where the emeralds would sense them enough to want to go there? We know they have a subconscious of their own and thanks to Origins we see them travel as they please but why there? It's mysterious and I'm actually invested into learning more about it which is something I don't say going into many sonic games in recent years. I'm very excited.
#4 Prime.
Nothing in this short particularly made me want to talk about it but I wanted to talk about it anyway. So we know Sonic Prime is canon and it's Sonic is supposed to be gameverse!Sonic in some form. It's been speculated and rumored to come out in December and with the recent trailer confirming a winter 2022 release window I think that's very much plausible and at least says one thing: it's coming after Frontiers. Why am I bringing this up? Because I have a question:
Do you think since Prime from what we understand is canon takes place before or after Frontiers?
I'm asking because we know from interviews that Sonic is going to go through a character arc in Prime due to him supposedly being responsible for the dimensional rift or whatever and feels guilty over it and his motivation is to fix it and make things right.
We also know that in Frontiers Sonic is going to go through a similar situation and at least we're going to get a bit more character from him.
It's probably not going to be confirmed and we are kind of only left to guess until we have the game in our hands/watch the show to its fullest but given the two release not that far from each other which would make more sense coming first? Or maybe given the whole different dimension thing maybe (and this is just pure fan theory) they could both be 'versions' of gameverse!Sonic but also be parallels of either the same/similar event that comes out to the same result: improving Sonic's character and address some hidden things over the surface he's hiding (using some of the lines about fear and stuff from the Frontiers main theme as evidence here)
I don't know, we're kind of left in the dark on this one until we get both 🤷🏻‍♂️

Amazing pokemon.
Corviknight might be my favorite regional bird ever and my favorite pokemon from gen 8 as a whole but I mean... look at this:

This is quite literally impossible to hate. Amy Rose looking creature. And it's pokedex entries from tinkatink to tinkaton is just amazing story telling and it's absolutely one of my favorite things in gen 9 so far :)

People complaining about Kirby becoming quote: ""too cute""
Tumblr media
I think the more cute they make him the more funny the fact he's a child like being of pure uncontrollable chaos powered by pure instinct and positivity whose killed gods and deities and will absolutely wreck your shit if you steal his cake becomes.
Him, this pink ball of adorable destruction:

Nintendo make him cuter out of spite.

NOW THAT SHE'S BEEN SHOWN OFFICIALLY IN A TRAILER I CAN UNLEASH A THOUGHT IVE BEEN HAVING SINCE THE ART BOOK FIRST LEAKED.
HER.
Tumblr media
I've been calling her Strawberry girl this entire time given her leaked art has her holding a basket of strawberry adjacent fruit (I'm not sharing it but I don't think that's a spoiler because she is literally just holding a basket of fruit) and I'm 80% she's a previous Zelda, most likely this one from ten thousand years ago:
Tumblr media
But that's not all. I think our Zelda given her clothes and that she's 100% being taken in by the goat deity (I might make a completely different post just about the thoughts about them too that I've been holding since the book leak for months) and is the other figure in the arm loop with the deity in the mural, however, I think she might be like... channeling this other Zelda/strawberry lady as a past life like a complete different form to use these tear objects that both of them are shown in this trailer using/holding.
Tumblr media
Idk just initial thoughts, I'm not sure about the channeling bit but I'm very much convinced strawberry lady might be a past life of Zelda, specifically the one from ten thousand years ago... meaning she'd have also past Link counter part if true, right? 👀
